Thx for the Info. Pool closed / stopped. A few pages before i was informed that it is just a non mandatory update...
After you had posted, it was found that the random rewards were coded a little incorrectly and produced a 700k SuperBlock (5 times the current supply) so the markets were halted and now the Blockchain will be rolled back and a fix put in. Actually had nothing to do with the superblock rewards, problem was with the reward code from COL2 that this coin was cloned from. Compiling new wallet now and everything will be ready in a few moments. Edit: Crest I remember you telling me that the CON reward code wasn't supposed to hit the 30 reward cap each time when you made the fork, but for some reason it always did. I think this is that same miscode coming back to haunt (I assume COL2 was cloned from CON?). Yes it was cloned from CON so that would be the case, I would be interested to see what it was exactly that caused that. I have noticed that somewhere between the early Novacoin clones (CAP, HBN, TEK, HYP, etc) and the newer brand of PoS clones, that the GetCoinAge function changed, and consequently requires the reward code to add an extra division by 'COIN'. The source we were working on had this newer coinage calculation but the older way of calculating the reward without the extra COIN division. I should have caught this error, as I first noticed this change when I forked the XRA rewards. But I didn't notice it, and here we are. Luckily the block was minted by iDunk, and vegas was fast to notify yobit and the thread here. All in all, no damage done and we should be up and running. Well it was really impressive how quickly it was caught and resolved. I had an interesting thought though, could it be possible to have a certain amount being generated on top of the Stake rewards to a specific address every so many Blocks as a provision for funding? Im curious. Funding for what cause? |

New wallet is perfect. Guys if you did get any of those massive false stakes, after it resyncs just click wallet repair to remove. Dont forget to sync from scratch AND change to the new addnode and remove all other addnodes in your .conf file to be on correcr chain. Ill post latest version on OP and contact oc miner and Yobit

Ya, once we get everything fixed I will contact yobit and put the wallet back on line. Im constantly monitoring everything, and caught this within 1 min of it happening, and contacted everyone including Yobit to shut down the wallet. So hopefully we should have a new wallet update by tomorrow and Presstab was kind enough to offer his block explorer to us for free and its the best there is. Guys with every coin , there will be challenges, but I want you to really look at how well this was handled by presstab and I. We were right on top of it, and reacted quickly. No damage was done. I hope this brings more trust to the coin.

So I just talked to Presstab and he is on the road traveling for the night. He said to tell everyone, that everything will be fine, and he will find the problem, and fix it, and then rollback the chain to just before the error. He said he is on the road tonight, and cant start until tomorrow. All will be well. If your mining, then stop because chain will be rolled back.

So just talked to presstab, and he said he is looking into it, and most likely we will do a fork and revert back to the block previous before the error. He seems to think it was a superblock error that paid too much.Yobit is frozen. So we are safe. All will be well again.

Im not 100% percent sure, but I wonder if there was a bug in the superblock and it paid out WAYYY too much. The block explorer is VERY basic and doesnt say WHERE the money came from or what the previous balance was.

Guys there is a problem with the money supply and I have already alerted Presstab.
Ive taken a snapshot of all the current balances balances. Im trying to contact yobit to freeze the trading. do NOT buy or sell or move any funds!!!
Ive also contacted Yobit on there site and asked them to freeze the wallet. Ive also PM them and asked them to freeze the wallet. Im waiting to hear from Presstab.
Ive also contacted OCminer of Suprnova pool.
Update: Wallet disabled on Yobit.
I have a snapshot of balances minutes after this happend.
This will get sorted. Just waiting to here back from Presstab.

Guys, Presstab is nearly finished with the wallet update, that addresses the split block showing incorrect fees, some color changes , and all the social media buttons are now fixed. Social buttons now point to our facebook page, our reddit page our twitter page, and I did something really cool and had him change remove the IRC and change it to point to our slack channel  Ive got a few meetings for the next 6 hours, so presstab might post the wallet update here. Im going to guess at why POS is acting the way it is but im not 100% for sure:
The coins that are staking now are ONLY the POW coins. They are really small .5 coins. Many of those coin ages were reset to 0, as they were bought of the exchange, and then reset to coinage 0 again using splitblock. The premine that had about 99.9% of the coin supply was distributed 2 days ago. Most of you then used split block and reset your coin age back to 0 again. So the short of this is: Im quite sure this is what is going on. We have to just wait 7 days from today to be sure for our premine funds to mature and the network weight sure be much higher and rewards begin and pos will function as normal. There will still be a wallet update in the next few days to address small bugs , but Presstab messaged me and he and I both agree, that this is what is going on, and it is NOT a bug.

Presstab is the best there is for wallet coding, so it wont take weeks or 5 wallets to fix. Presstab and I are extremely responsible and on top of everything.
When I decided to takeover Ros, I went as far as I could under the advice and guidance of Crestington. He is a truly wonderful person and talented coder, and helped me get a very near complete wallet. I have no experience in coding, and really didnt take it seriously enough. I then began to realize the magnitude of the investors that were affected by Ros. Because I have no coding skills it would have taken many more weeks to complete and , what I had, had loads of bugs and problems. I have the resources to hire the best coin wallet coder in the world, Presstab. So I reached out to him, and he completed it in about 2 days, and cleaned the bugs I had created. So Im not suprised that there are some bugs and problems, and I take full responsibility for that. I will also make sure its made right. Ive already Pmed Presstab today with all known bugs im aware of. Thank you again for your patience.
