According to your analysis, what causes the price of bitcoin to continue to rise for now? Then what will you do, when you look at market conditions that continue to improve and also the price growth that sharply increases. Share your opinion here and let's discuss it. Thank you so much..
Yes the market is again witnessing pump and graphs are turning green but still this is not the actual pump as it sudden slow rise.So wait for the actual pump to come and hodl your coins until that period.

3164  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc stability and volatility question? on: May 10, 2019, 08:43:54 AM
By the way, mass adoption won't stopped volatility but will probably slow it down.
Volatility is a very subjective term because your volatility might not be similar to what I believe is volatility. Good example is how people believe fiat currencies are very stable, while that's not the case at all.

One of the main utilities of fiat currencies isn't just being money, but also functioning as speculative vehicle. Being a speculative vehicle comes from the volatility fiat currencies offer, and institutions bank on them every single day.

I think that if we reach gold level stability it's more than enough to serve every corner of our economy. I don't see it being possible that more stability than gold is a target Bitcoin will ever achieve. We have to be realistic.

True! People usually say fiat currencies are not volatile but that not the case. Whole forex market is nothing but the buy/sell of fiat currencies. Even fiat currencies are speculated.
No one is actually afraid of Bitcoin volatility right now. I think positive outlook of investors and government and bullish market is more required than a stable Bitcoin at present.

3168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going steadily up, don't you think? on: May 03, 2019, 06:26:22 AM

Steady? Bitcoin was struggling between $3800 and $4200 for a month before it jumped to $5000 in a course of 4-5 days during the start of April. Since then Bitcoin is moving between the range of 400 dollars. I don't consider this movement to be steady. Rather it is dangerous one. When Bitcoin surge to $5K+, it was looking safe and $4.8K was developed as new minimum. It was expected to go past $6K over the course of next month or so. But when we look the chart above, Bitcoin didn't show much of the positive signs since then. If this pattern continues for few more weeks, I am expecting a significant fall in price.

Nice Analysis! We cannot say bitcoin is moving steady. There are surely many questions in regards to recent rally. It isn't at all looking sustainable unless more funds started flowing into bitcoin. If volume remains the same then bitcoin will eventually fall back to the level of $4K, It is hard time that we need old investors back into market.
3169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 19, 2019, 04:27:24 PM
Hello to all the Bitcointalkers!

Because it is my first post, I have, at least, to present myself in several words. I am a coins/tokens dev and web developer full stack.
After several years of crypto experience, I decided to create my own project. It is not a coin, nor a token (there is already plenty of ERC20 tokens and coins), it is a cryptocurrency exchange.

There is already some exchanges available on the web, but I would like to build one which may fit to Bitcointalk users, it's why I opened this thread, and ask you today what do you like the most in crypto exchanges, as well as the things that you dislike. It can be specific features, themes, properties...
I want to build a good exchange, and for that I need to know your preferences.

Waiting for your replies Smiley
Lugdunex
There are many factors which determine the best suited exchange like it must be legitimate and must have huge volume transactions with large customer base. The funds must be safe and secure and transactions should beade fast with low fees.Other things are only good coins should be listed on the exchange not the lower potential ones. The developer team should work progressively and increase trade on exchange.
3170  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: April 16, 2019, 03:33:01 PM
Do you think that bitcoin debit card link to our bitcoin online wallet will be implemented or is it possible to happen in the future? After all, we still want some improvement and some option for us to pay in some grocery stores or department stores that accepting cards right? And do you think this is helpful?
I think this is already happening and its not a dream for crypto lovers anymore.I read a article few days back where it was mentioned that coinbase is collaborating with a company to make crypto cards which can be used for btc,XRP,ETH linked to your wallet and get fiat for them. This will soon be implemented all over world and users will get anything at ease of hand using cards on crypto related atms.Hope for the best
3171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Essentials for Traders on: April 13, 2019, 04:36:32 PM
Yes i agree with you that these three are most important elements in trading but most above all is money factor because you have to invest in any crypto of your choice but that must be potential coin.Newbies can't have any experience as it will come with time and mistakes. They need to be pateint in this highly risky market if they want gains.Greed should not be factor of trading. So always invest wisely and be happy.
3172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AGAIN: China says it wants to eliminate bitcoin mining on: April 09, 2019, 04:20:44 PM
Most of the governments are afraid of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as they think they might overtake the financial situation of the country and they will loose to this decentralized virtual currency over which they will have no control. They are not making any regulations or ban regarding other production industries which are creating more pollution and having effect on environment but they are trying to ban the crypto industry which will make them economically strong. They need to think this.
3173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trader Brutally Tortured on: March 06, 2019, 03:53:51 PM
A crypto trader from the Netherlands had been brutally tortured in front of his 4-year-old daughter, by 3 suspects disguised as police.  The investigator suspected that the criminals stole some private keys, passwords that transferred the victim's fund to the suspect's wallet. How could the criminal know his a trader and identity, location? Could this be an inside job?

More information here:
Quote
Thats really bad and they might have got information from his known ones from close freind who have all the knowledge about his trading or victim might have himself disclose his indentity by some means like showing him crypto trader.Thats why i don't like my identity to be disclosed and getting tortured and losing my private keys. Be safe mates.

3175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would like to start trading. Looking for tips!!!! on: March 02, 2019, 03:06:55 PM
Hello everyone!
I am relatively new to the crypto, but I am willing to explore and learn!
I would like to ask for some general advices on how to learn the trading process of crypto and how to get started! Would appreciate all the replies!
It's good that you want to start trading and want to explore the market but i would rather advice that you must invest based on your understanding and knowledge because each person will tell different story based on his experience or suggest coin which he likes.Invest with diversified portfolio and learn trading skills slowly and afterwards you will learn from your past mistakes. But remember don't get panic in bearish situation and be patient and know risk factor is key element of this market.
3176  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: February 28, 2019, 09:40:24 AM
Yes exactly bears are the part of each business and everyone has to suffer loss when the market goes down but the new investors who have no knowledge about this highly volatile crypto market get panicked and start selling at lower prices which even worse the situation. So we need to stay calm and hodl for long term if we want to increase our profitability and gain expereience from our trading lessons.
3177  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 28, 2019, 09:36:34 AM
Its really good that you are still here after losing your money as many will leave and start making wrong assumptions about this crypto market without any knowledge but there is always profit associated with risk if you have invested in the right project.Yes the market seems to be in good condition with graphs turning green from red once again but it's not sure whether it's the real pump or just a normal rise eventually being followed by price dips. Everything is possible in this volatile market.Stay calm and positive.

3179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin reduced price an opportunity to buy? on: February 26, 2019, 04:40:31 PM
If you consider Bitcoin as a real currency, you can replace it and apply it and the world is recognizing it. You always appreciate the value of Bitcoin over time. See the Bitcoin discount as a good opportunity to buy.

Here, investors believe in the long-term value of Bitcoin. So when prices drop, they buy more. Although the market is very hard to guess, it means buy at the price lower (bid at the bottom) and as soon as the price is up. Strong discounts allow investors to spend more money to buy Bitcoin than a less volatile market, without much change.

If your current thinking is that Bitcoin will grow strongly in the months and years to come, let's all think together and there are certainly quite a lot of people out there for Bitcoin.

Its just misinterpretation of some fool traders that btc will not grow up or rise in coming time as the market has gone reluctively down but its just manipulation of the whales to take advantage of the price decline to invest more to shift momentum towards them when the price will rise resulting in huge profits. The bull run has returned and prices are once again rising which shows that btc is still king of cryptos. Its the best time to invest so grab this oppurtunity as they don't come again and again.
3180  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: February 22, 2019, 03:34:31 PM
After a year, a lot of lessons that we did learn. There are 2 precious things that I think I should remember:

+ Fear
+ Greed

I learned that from my teacher, he said when you buy Bitcoin at 10k, it's then $12k your greed rises inside you and you don't want to take profit and expect more. Then, the downtrend is coming, BTC goes down to $8k, you'll be scared to cut loss, and what'll happen, you lose more while BTC drops to $4k.

So, we need to set up your expected profit point as well as the stoploss point.

How about you, what is your lesson?
Everyone who enters in this crypto market learn lesson from his first trading experience but we need to control our emotions in this volatile market because if we greed we can loose all our funds. I also have same sort of story as it was 3-4 years back when i invested in one crypto which was at $15 and it rose to $50 but in hope to get more i lost all my funds when market was bearish but i gain experience and now i trade wisely keeping my emotions side and using my brain. And yes you are right we must set our profit point if we want to trade sucessfully.Best of luck for future to you.
