Well, you can store your coins in a trezor wallet or USB and store it in your room, why do you need it to be at an online computer?
3163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Vs. Paypal on: October 01, 2014, 03:47:03 PM
Considering more and more stuff is going digital, Paypal are simply taking an obvious step in the right direction.. On the other hand, what if you pay someone and they don't actually give you the files? There's not even a way to get your money back.
3164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if you meet a market manipulating permabear bitcoin whale? on: October 01, 2014, 03:36:55 PM
even if you have 1 million of BTC, you can't destroy BTC exchange system ... why ?
because you can't spend fast the 1 millions of BTC in short hours to the exchange.

This, and he would create a huge wall which would block the price, unless hes selling at a rediculous low price, then it would get eaten in seconds... but even tho, you have to deal with it, its called free market.

On a scale of 1 to 10, what are the chances Bitcoin goes to 10, and what are the chances Bitcoin goes to 10K?

I guess the forum took a bit blow when Satoshi dissapeared. Im assuming he was a supporter of the forum, or he didn't give a fuck about donating?
3167  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATT:BREAKING NEWS!!!! Panick buy bitcoin will reach 650 buy tommorrow on: September 24, 2014, 01:38:36 PM
OP hasn't stated convincing reasons as to why the price would go that high tomorrow. Whats the deal? We are still on a downtrend, I dont see it breaking 400 territory.
3168  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of contemporary art skyrockets. on: September 24, 2014, 01:31:34 PM
Storing art in any form, is way harder and more volatile than Bitcoin. I would rather put it all on Bitcoin if you are going to gamble with art. Art deteriorates, something like Bitcoin never deteriorates, take this into account. Not existing in the physical world has its benefits, even tho old people will think it has no inherent value.
3169  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is backed by blackmarkets on: September 24, 2014, 01:15:40 PM
Actually cash is a lot harder to trace than Bitcoin. With enough resources and effort, one could potentially trace a Bitcoin transaction, with cash is harder IMO. Now if they are using Monero or Dark Wallet and what not, I guess the autorities are shit out of luck. Only if they realized war on drugs is pointless, maybe if they legalize it this wouldn't be happening.
In any case, it would only drive the prices of cryptos up anyway.
3170  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Titanic Sunk To Kick Start The Private Federal Reserve Debt Slavery System? on: September 24, 2014, 01:08:54 PM
This is extremely far-fetched isn't? Think about it, this is at the same level or above the level of inside 9/11 job. I still claim whoever trully believes any of that is as delusional as it gets. Sure, there are hiden agendas, but you are overstretching it by a mile with these ridiculous conspiracy theories on there.
3171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2,300 billionaires, each holding $600m of cash on average on: September 24, 2014, 12:49:17 PM
One day the illusion that the $ is a safe haven will shatter. My money is on bank bail-ins.

Well, ask yourself: Are these super powerful, rich people at top moving millions going to simply sit back and relax as their super fortunes vanish? Not in a million years. USD will not fail unless these guys want to imo, because they control everything.
They are not going to allow for big Bitcoin holders to be the new elite, they'll do something about it. I don't know what, but something.

Oh and becoming a millonaire, let alone a billonaire, depends on so many factors that it's mostly luck.
3172  Economy / Economics / Re: London house prices a bubble waiting to burst? on: September 24, 2014, 12:34:50 PM
What about brasil? My friend has some real state there, he's so confident about "being retired for life", but how safe he is? Is renting a better strategy than selling?
3173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 6 things bitcoin introduced to us on: September 24, 2014, 12:27:18 PM
I still haven't bought, but I like the concept of the blockchain. It introduced to me the posibility to move value from A to B seamlessly, thats my main interest in Bitcoin.
3174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to earn some quick btc on: September 24, 2014, 12:14:52 PM
i have no money for invest i don't want to use faucet for wasting time there is no sig campaign running now.
is there any other option so that i can earn some btc.

Stop trying to get something for nothing. Just buy some. The most you will get without paying for them is only a few pennies worth. It is a waste of time and effort. Go to localbitcoins.com and you can have bitcoins today.

OP has said that he has no money to invest, so he can't just go on there and risk money he can't lose. This is why I fear Bitcoin may fail. Most people are eager to risk their wageslave money into Bitcoin "just in case it succeeds in the future", when they could spend it in say... a vacation or something.
3175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: hello i new user and i want ask about starting on: September 24, 2014, 12:07:21 PM
I think he is trying to tell us how to start as in, how to download the wallet and how to obtain Bitcoin and what not.

1) To obtain the wallet, go to bitcoin.org and download the wallet
2) To obtain Bitcoin, go to an exchange or LocalBitcoin and buy it, it's pretty much the only way

You need to tell us your local language.
3176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it the right time to invest on BTC on: September 24, 2014, 11:59:01 AM
Hi everyone, im not new but I am new in this forum. I am going to invest 500 as soon as it goes to 250. In my opinion it will go this low in the next months, but we will see. I hope I don't miss out. Cheers.
