Perhaps it's considered a worthwhile investment for overall community privacy. You're also under an assumption, thousands of btc haven't moved through there and even just a few percent of that would cover the campaign... They also know they have at least the same amount of crypto or more than what they started out with so still could collateralise it or invest it somehow if they really wanted to.

Wow! They've had at least 1 million customers, thats surprising to me. And yeah I guess this could've been due to employees having to work from home or something too during the pandemic (and sometimes ecc is slow for certain operations).

Ledger's website had its emails hacked? That doesn't sound very promising for what is essentially a cybersec firm...
It's disapointing I can't see. To use that email address to find anything related to the scam... (it's easy to just copy and paste when you get a suspicious email then).

I think I had it a while ago and from what I remember, a refresh seemed to fix it for me (so might work here).
I think it's similar to the rate limiting for accessing certain parts of the forum (sich as having to wait a second between tasks).

If you're only after antminers you could check bitmain's official website at bitmain.com.
If you are after avoiding dealing with customs and shipping yourself, you light want to state the country you're in so we can suggest better (even the continent would help).

PD: the program should be able to copy and paste the key without that.... line... hahaha (I used the copy and paste buttons from the cold and hot electrum respectively)
Fwiw, I expected it to be a space... You're keeping things interesting here ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . And yeah but if they do that and a new key becomes dependent on whitespace then they'll waste time trying to work out why the code returns an error (or where that piece of code was). So they're probably just better off leaving it.

You can upload an image to a site link imgur and post a link here (you can use any media sharing site you want).
Without it the only thing I can think of if the tutorial is quite old is that adding addresses and adding master keys were split into two functions (I think) a while back...

It might just be a heuristic that picked up one of the links in their post as sus...
Can you add a link to the topic that was altered? From what I see with the bit you quoted, they used a url shortener which could've been flagged (some url shorteners can make a false link look legit or are used in ads for ref commision etc).

What bit are you stuck at? Do you have your xpub/ypub/zpub and it's not recognising that?
Did you get the latest version of electrum from electrum.org on both machines?

Are there high import tariffs from the EU to US?
Afaik the EU (and likely the UK when we leave the EU but potentially not the EU after that point) I think have a free tariff on printed circuits as atm chips seem to still be manufactured in the uk and a lot of Board come from China and Japan.. You might find a facility in Iceland or somewhere also with cheap electricity?

I have some capacity to open some channels. PM or drop your public key below.
I have a list of bct members with a node here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5266907.msg54940969#msg54940969I'll hopefully be able to make one of my own but it's dependent on e working out how to use the vps I just rented ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . I have a question about this initiative. Do we need to start a thread somewhere about our own node? To answer other people's questions and post information about our node or can we just reply here and that's all? In case anyone else has a similar question, no need to make a thread unless syou want to just post in the overview thread.

It shop ld be safe enough for an online wallet. You're going to run a risk even if it does get rapid security patches.
Critical vulnerabilities are (probably/hopefully) still patched as well. I think most antivirus companies have free apps too but I'm not sure how good they are.

What browser are you using and do you have any other relevant/active plugins? Based on what the site says it could be an autoredirection tool from cloudflare (but I'm not sure if that'd be considered a risk).

To be honest, I think anyone who's at least 3 is helpful to the forum. No matter your post count, if you've earnt more than 20 merits you've done a pretty good job here. The average for most fairly good posters probably stands at between a merit every 10 posts and a merit every 100...

I don't think it's as attractive as AUD or GBP.
I doubt anyone would notice those, especially now it's possible to clean them in a washing machine so they might just seem like plastic (dunno if they have identifiers in the notes though)...
I don't think bitcoin is great for laundering and illegal activities although in the UK and a lot of Europe, upu can trade up to €15000/£13000 without any need for kyc. And if you want to go higher you can just use a bank transfer because its unlikely you'll be asked for the source of funds.

I dunno, the last post was in 2018, perhaps there was no activity for a long time or the board was replaced by another board (or it was just confusing to keep the two). I mean you didn't exactly make a topic asking for it to be brought back either ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Do you know what the board was for?

Bitcoins aren't food though...
If fearing hyperinflation you're beter off with land and an apple tree or something... With btc you could save at least the value of that...

It seems to be fast enough for me - similar to normal at least...

Eos, xlm and link probably have a shot imo. (but I'm not sure what chainlink does I just knew it got into the top ten)...
Itll probably be a while and the coin that becomes like ethereum.might not even exist yet..
