3161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 17, 2021, 04:04:13 AM
~snip~
Lack of self-control = almost automatic lose
Lack of Luck = automatic lose.

Even though we have a strategy when we aren't lucky enough or we don't have that self control that we need in gambling, losing is almost inevitable. Well, gamblers are gambling either for fun or profit but most of them are gambling because of money. Winning on gambling isn't easy because I have experienced it. I gambled on this one app where its kinda like dice. I already have a strategy but in the end, I lose all of my money because of lack of luck. No regrets from my side since I expected it to happen already Smiley.

We all have the experience of losing money in gambling games, and we know that luck will not come easily to us, no matter we have a great strategy. We should consider that gambling is just part of life and having fun, so we do not need to think to play hard to win because that will not easy. If we already thought that gambling could make us losing money, we will be ready if somehow we lose it in the gambling game. But we will prevent or limit the money that we will use to gamble because we do not want to see us lose all of the money.

it's the thought that we'd win more money after winning a little that makes us lose. but it's all combination of all, you are just unlucky and do not know when to stop.
there are gamblers who won huge amounts to one casino and then move to another casino to try the same strategy to another casino, this is almost like not stopping while winning. gambling is risky enough but pushing it harder will result in a different thing.

3162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Probability of cryptocurrency apocalypse on: March 17, 2021, 03:32:50 AM

the security risk depends on the user unlike with bank system right now which everyone's funds lie in their hands. restoring with private keys solves everything.
the apocalypse of cryptocurrency should have happened a long time ago if it's really meant to but look at how far crypto had gone right now. the moment BTC goes down, there will hundreds if not thousands of people and institutions going to buy it all up again.  whether it becomes a currency reserve or not Bitcoin will be used. there will be corrections which we got used to it, the countries adopting BTC got used to it.

3163  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: March 16, 2021, 11:41:31 AM
I think it's gotten a lot higher, and people aren't vaccinated yet. fear is still haunting us, living ina cage, and there's a lot more to us What surrounds us is this life the best solution we should pursue I personally don't want this kind of thing

the worse is yet to come because the newer variants are more potent and can spread faster. there are possibilities that the ones who are vaccinated already can still be infected by the newer variants to which vaccines today are going to be useless. now the labs are going to have to create another study and trials again. the more we suffer from these lockdowns the more will just kill selves out of depression. the unemployment and families evicted from homes are just making all these worse.

3164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could be in for a very long sustained bull market on: March 16, 2021, 07:19:25 AM

if institutions are buying on binance or coinbase the prices will extremely be going to climb instantly. but that is not what they are doing, more likely over the counter. the indicators are telling traders the market is submerging but we are able to hit ATH almost every month. that's like establishing another big cycle and it's going to be a sustainable bull market when this happens in about 2-3 months soon.
3165  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: March 16, 2021, 06:48:42 AM

I wish I have a lot money, then I must spend enough money for my family first. As a human being, I have some social responsibilities for my society. So, I will work for the society like I will try to open library by which it will be helpful to enrich the knowledge. I will definitely do something for the deprived people who don't have access for the education and other's. Obviously I will involve with some charity to help the poor people.

don't start trying to help through the money you have. you are attracting attention to yourself. not all people will become what you think they will become after you gave them money. giving them enough that they'd say thank you will be enough of a help.  you just have to bear in mind that a person will not be contented with what they have. if they survive in a poor and harsh environment, they can survive wherever they are.

giving them more like $10k, they will start to think you got more money to give and will probably buy a gun to rob you in the end.
3166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play fewer hands to earn more strategy - Poker on: March 16, 2021, 06:32:31 AM
If you were to play this strategy then you better know who your opponents are because frequent early fold will mean that they will see that you are following a pattern and the moment that you play until the reveal of cards, they will know why you are playing in that pattern, I don't suggest this kind of thing in a high-stakes tournament, especially at a casual play at gambling houses because there pros that are hiding in the midst and they can easily detect this kind of thing. Practice your poker face and learn how to pressure your opponents is a good way to make a profit in poker.

the game is more of psychology it's better to play with humans on the table to learn the kind of players you are playing with. it's better to establish a pattern actually so you are going to be unpredictable whenever you wanted to bluff. it's satisfying to see you get to win big with just one bluff you made and only then they will realize you are not the kind of player that they thought so.
3167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will Coinbase list Dogecoin? on: March 14, 2021, 09:47:42 AM

doge is the next closest coin to bitcoin and LTC that recently climbed the rank. when doge rises up to $1, they could be listing the coin. the most important thing about the coin is that it's being used widely just like BTC and LTC. i don't see why coinbase wouldn't list doge, after all, they are going to make money out of it. the growing number of merchants accepting doge and ATMs where Doge can be bought, it's a good time to list it.
3168  Economy / Economics / Re: I think I know who satoshi really is Am I Crazy? He He.... on: March 14, 2021, 08:53:12 AM
steve jobs took every credit he could get and speak in public just about anything to be recognized. you think he will not bragg solving double spending which is one of the biggest problem since time?

satoshi didn't try convincing people to believe in him but in the code itself. and it's these attributes that made a big difference between the two.

3169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on March 27, 2021 on: March 14, 2021, 08:38:06 AM

It would not affect his system, he is fully healed. Lots of athletes that was infected by covid-19 particularly in the NBA but they are still back as if nothing happens, so I assume that would be the same story for Povetkin and he can give a great fight against Whyte and could probably win again.

I also believe that Povetkin still has that power that knocks Whyte out in their first match, he was not confined and his power is back, although he will have an excuse if he losses a fight, Whyte should not relax in training just because Povetkin comes out of CoVid, Whyte has so many stakes here, it's the end of the road for him if he losses again.

i wouldn't be so sure that Povetkin will win. the first match was pretty fair and Whyte is even faster than him. the one thing that made Povetkin win is that Whyte got too close with him which also gives Povetkin the chance. but if Whyte could maintain his distance and just throw jab, get in to throw a body punch and then get out, it will devastate Povetkin. Remember he was knocked twice with just two punch combo from Whyte.
3170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: March 14, 2021, 07:50:12 AM
The market needs to be analyzed properly which currency is good for investing there are many coins that do not increase in value over a long period of time but decrease and the traders lose money. Therefore before holding the DOGE coin you have to see its charts to see how much it can go up this coin can be held at ethereum being pumped a lot.

with how much exposure it gets to the public and with the number of ATMs where Dogecoin is available, this coin could go way higher than we could expect. not everyone could buy BTC at its current price right now, which coin do you think the people will buy which is cheaper?

it could have dropped a thousand times already if there aren't people buying it. but it's not. so I'm holding just a few thousand of it until something is revealed in the future. Hodl Doge!
3171  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin will hit $60,000 today, what's next? on: March 14, 2021, 05:16:45 AM
another drop?

let's just wait for the stimulus package to be distributed and then we can see what will happen. most probably a dip again down to 48K or so. it will keep repeating we don't know when it ends. but this is like airdropping stimulus package to crypto traders as well. if it continues to go up to $100K I'm gonna believe that it will really blow up as Keiser said.
3172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microstrategy keep buying bitcoin. How if they become the biggest BTC HODLer? on: March 13, 2021, 09:03:02 AM
the question I ask myself is:

if a lot of people are just buying bitcoin to make hodl where will we end up? what future awaits us if we use bitcoin just to hold?

in short:

if Microstrategy was there to say that he bought a lot of things using bitcoin, that would be great news, but they just showed up to say that they do what 90% of people are doing and that news indirectly encourages more people to think only about hodl

there will come a time when everyone will have their bitcoins kept in their wallets for years, and bitcoin will only be used for that: to be kept in wallets for years

we end up holding as an investment like how we treat it today unless there is the need to use the BTC to buy something. everybody win, holders for longterm always win. but not everyone will hold.

there will come a time that we'll sell them all when we see bear signals. i read it on some thread that BTC and cryptocurrency are overheated and it's all over the media which i guess could really rocket to mars so we are not yet seeing that bear signal.

3173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on March 27, 2021 on: March 13, 2021, 04:12:30 AM
It doesn't make sense if Povetkin or at least someone in his camp is faking his covid-19, that's the worst excuse you can make. Probably just a slur in the moment for Whyte because he is desperate for this fight after he was brutally knock out and he wants a good old revenge.

And after the fight has been postponed several times, no need for this kind of allegations as they will finally settled it in about two weeks.

I don't think they faked the covid result, they themselves understands the consequences of that action, he maybe ban from boxing and no boxer would want that. What's important is this fight is gonna happen this month, let's just wait and hopefully there's no hindrance anymore.

Whyte vs Povetkin II could be like Ruiz vs Joshua II, but we never know.

Maybe just having trash talk here as others have said, so they can attract more interest on this fight. The more they sell this fight, the better for their pockets. Good or bad controversies will give them edge to attract boxing fans. Let us hope that this will not be postponed again and see how prepared they are in this fight. Whyte anyway, is still the favourite here.

I agree, this is just pure trash talk from Whyte, the fight is getting closer, it's not being talk about. Because obviously, the hype has died down with the fight date postponed. And now since we are near the fight itself, he needs to promote it to boxing fans and bring the hype by attacking Povetkin personally. It could be a psych war, telling the public as if Povetkin is afraid of him and needed more time to prepare because he is coming for a revenge.

the trash talk is always there for distraction Russians don't do that though but they match fairly until Povetkin sets up the uppercut in the first match. Whyte deserves the rematch for revenge.

if Whyte can't maintain an arm's length away from Povetkin they will still slug each other which could result to Whyte slamming the floor again. on the other hand, Whyte beating an old man who recently just recovered from Covid19 will still make him look weaker. but yes he'll get a title shot after this.

3174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where's the altcoin bull on: March 13, 2021, 02:41:15 AM

only a few of them are rising the rest are still buried. this is because most of the investors back in 2017 had already learned which one is worth investing in. most are just buying BTC and ETH and a few wannabe ETH. some altcoins are testing the patience of their investors just when they bought ADA, it also dips while the ones they sold for ADA rise again. in the long run we will still be seeing the prices go up because BTC is going up but not really an altcoin bull run so to say because its just the satoshi value that appreciates.
3175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: March 13, 2021, 01:46:06 AM
The question is, can we proved they are faking their bets?

Absolutely.

It seems to be common knowledge by now, hence why I didn't bother to list the evidence in the starting post. But, here are a couple of things to show:
1)
Roobet video uploaded 2 days ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nyt-cgfKEbQ
Read the description: "All Balances you see on these videos is sponsored as part of my deal with the website."

2)
https://roobet.com/50k-pot-o-gold
Read the terms: "Sponsored funds will not reward tickets for the promotion."

If some people are still doubtful about this, I can spend some extra time to show more material. But, it should be quite obvious by now -- Pretty much all of their advertisers have somewhat admitted to gambling with monopoly money.

I understand your source of frustration, however since they are being open about it you cannot really say that they are being deceptive since everything is out there for people to understand that it is not real, however I agree that such promotion while it may help on the short term is not going to help them over the long term as people realize of its existence and they prefer to play in other casinos which don't engage in those practices.

morality wise, it's, of course, a bit shady but since they are pretty much making it obvious the deception can still be seen as transparent here if we could just call it marketing technique. they spend money on promotion. it's not surprising that companies do this because the competition is really harsh in the industry. marketing can be in any form and just any casino will do it just to make their platform popular.

3176  Economy / Reputation / Re: Almost one year disappeared from the forum, what am I left and lost? on: March 12, 2021, 10:49:57 PM

glad your back. i remember you with the dramas. riding a motorcycle is like flying free but one slip could lead to a fatal accident. after the treatment, it's still exciting to get back and ride the bike again.  Grin  BTC had gone up already it's a good time to get back and start trading to make money in this bull market. you must have missed a lot of trains already and a year of absence feels like an eternity when you don't recognize the top tokens on coinmarketcap.

3177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether tokens go live on Ethereum competitor Solana blockchain on: March 12, 2021, 11:14:01 AM
I also read about this yesterday, but what I do not yet know is that will the fee be cheap if Solana blockchain is used for tether storage and usage? It is clear that ethereum blockchain is very expensive, a reason I do not use tether for transaction on exchanges as it is even more expensive than or almost like bitcoin transaction fee. Also I will like to know if Solana blockchain is secure and safe to use?

It will be good to have a way tether can be used on a blockchain that is not susceptible to 51% attack and also in which low fee will be used with fast processing time.

so the reason that new apps will likely be developed in Sol blockchain which they claimed to at least have 50K transactions per sec. thats a good rate than ETH. Solana must be secure otherwise Tether wouldn't be considering them.

it's this article that i learned Serum is using Solana, that's interesting because i have been seeing SOL rank high on coinmarketcap that see it's just a dollar back then. its transaction fee is as low as is $0.00001.
3178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOES ANYONE HERE STILL PLAYS IN NITROGEN SPORTS? on: March 12, 2021, 10:45:10 AM
Does anyone here still plays in Nitrogen Sports? Did you ever tried depositing in their site?

I have a balance in there, but they require me to deposit 0.005BTC first before I can withdraw the balance (which I won from their NitroSpread contest promotion).

https://blog.nitrogensports.eu/squares/rules/

You can read the terms of their contest in that link but it seems they are asking to deposit for the first time depositors so if you already having balance means you are not a new one then why the hell they are asking to deposit?

Exactly, that's my point. I don't know why they are requiring me to deposit 0.005BTC first. The balance in my account is my prize from their Free promotion contest from the last Super Bowl which is called NitroThread.
Ohhh? So you never made any deposit into that account by yourself or not?

It seems like they are actually asking about what they mentioned in their terms of contest, which is like newly created accounts maybe asked to deposit significant amount before proceeding the withdrawal. So I am clear now that you are on the actual aite and they are following their terms and its now your choice whether you want to take the reward by risking the amount they are asking or simply skip it.

so they mandate users to deposit first before they could withdraw?

a bit weird that we didn't see these rules and none so far that we see complaints to other sports betting sites. if the amount you have right now in the Nitro is worth more than the fee you'd be spending then go deposit. if not then just continue betting it until you can win big there. do they also require you to set up the 2fa?

3179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Keep up with the technical and fundamental trends of the market on: March 12, 2021, 07:11:01 AM
we can expect a spike in price then by march 14. we could break that $60k with this $1.9T. they are giving more than they could really afford, they know the effect of it but they do it. nice desirable dollar.

I thought that the past few stimulus packages were just a coincidence in terms of when they were announced and when Bitcoin started rising but I guess it's really true now. Biden's package is even more enormous though and Bitcoin still struggling to hit ATH again so maybe the effect can't be sustained this time, who knows?

so enormous that it sounds like they are purposely giving thousands of USD to everyone so people can buy more BTC for themselves. it still is a good idea.
3180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Cardano, Vechain, and Cosmos plan to continue giving staking rewards? on: March 12, 2021, 05:35:52 AM

i'm not sure if they do this indefinitely but we do know they have a max supply, unlike ETH which means they will eventually stop at some point. or it may be subjected to the consensus just like other tokens out there. staking coins are providing good income if their prices are good and you invest in outstanding amounts. VET seems not to allow it because VTHOR isn't that valuable.
