Kommt halt aufs Land an..

another fork? and what will change after the fork, which will be held on May 15? is there any news about this? the team will be the same?

32MB Blocks even though they are currently only using less than 100KB

TX Highway has been updated to reflect the change

http://txhighway.cash

troll speak translation:
"since the core devs hate bitcoin & stopped doing actual work years ago they now do parody of work, like a social media comedian"

This page shows an almost empty highway for BCH as well ATM. https://txhighway.com/ Oh well, at least BCH will be ready if and when the people come.

Some get it quicker, some slower. As a usual normal distribution is.

FinTech business is about planning in advance, prepare for expected adoption and serve maximum number of clients smoothly.

nice iam waiting

Sometimes waiting is better than making Bitcoin (esp its protocol layer and TXs system) moar complex as needed.

3172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cash can compete to bitcoin? on: May 10, 2018, 03:34:41 PM
I think that bitcoin cash has a chance to outrun bitcoin. Yes you can not believe. Well this is my opinion, which will be known only after 2 years. I hope and wait.

The thing is, Bitcoin Cash is about to DO and CAN DO,  not about hope and wait.

This might be the real difference since they are all open to any good features in crypto.

Limited smart contract features are enabled within some days now as well, and scaling is

addressed in an industrial style = think big and keep up with worlds need and tech progress as close as

possible since ppl and internet will not wait for fixing any legacy chain's issues.

So get yourself started and do things

Hi guys! Can someone answer my questions?
Is BCH implementing or planning an anonymization? ex)coinjoin, stealth address, ring signature, zero-knowledge proof and confidential transaction
I feel like I saw a news that said BCH is plannning an anonymization.

Things are planned to increase privacy - yes.

Anonymity is never ensured at all. We know (fear) what big NSAs can do for a lot of money.

I see. Thanks! Can you show me the source of it, please?

Hm - by providing you one link here, I'd miss out many - but good start might be here:

3175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DECENTRALIZED crypto currency (including Bitcoin) is a delusion (any solutions?) on: May 09, 2018, 11:44:52 AM
I am not sure if the ideal solution exists yet but have faith it will come. When it does hopefully bitcoin will be flexible enough to adapt it.

I can only see Bitcoin flexible enough in its BCH instance yet - PoW is there for good as well, open competition and external risks will ensure 'enough' decentralization for the very long run. No oligarchs that can stay on top forever as in PoS.

Fees are cheap and poor countries can have a nearly perfect scarce good for trading / economic / SoV (money) use - also extrapolated into long terms when
mass adoption brings down volatility.

Scaling of international applications will need to get now into big economic players (big miners / full mining node runners) i.o. to world wide adapt it  - or stay nichy / die.

Restricted smart contracts and on-chain ICOs will do the rest from 15th May on - so  ETH and others are done with that.

Guess that's it for now.

If you like Bitcoin and its growth into all sorts of directions

and do not believe new SW and LN techs are a good idea for long term future

and do not want to be forced into these new techs.

Bitcoin Cash might be the thing you want to OWN and USE - onchain - as you are used to use from Bitcoin's very start.

Why is btrash doing so well ?
Probably because of the upcoming fork.

Bigger blocks is a good thing. The problem is that they are being deceptive cunts. If we had chosen big blocks and they had chosen segwit, we would still think the same thing about them, and for the same reason. And be applauding ourselves for making the correct choice.

It's the people, not the tech.

Perhaps, but we do have better tech.
By what metric? Not interested in having that debate, but it needs to be backed up by something.

Regardless of that, if the tech were reversed we would be talking about how they overly complicated things. Humans feel first and then rationalize. Especially in this sort of tribal spat.

So there is no perfect simulator in existence yet solving all that questions.

We need to try it - that's done with open source / markets.

will bch overcome btc in the next months, years or not? I think it’s possible if we will have a larger community than btc!!

If your actions are limited to cry fraud, scam and troll other competitors and splitting community also by trying to censor cypherpunks , you've kicked out most mearchants and stopped brutally adoption calling tx spam attack or tell all to wait 18months for sth that eventually fix scaling, and you try to be just a store of value , very much like not even gold really is today at the very end of a 4000 years lasting adoption process, then BTC looks very much done after less than 10years ...
