It was supposed to dominate the crypto fiat conversion / payments business, and WRC was expected to reach 1 USD within a few months, it's almost convering to 1 cent now, multitudes lower than ICO price. Management went into hybernation mode with the bear markets, they need to fix their game asap.

So there are extremely good ICO projects in 2018, but people are scared and deliberately deterred from investing. Free enterprise always finds a way to flourish, so don't worry, it's just a temporary hiatus as more and more intellectual people understand that the mainstream "politically correct" establishment has become the enemy of the free people.
I partially agree. For the record: I LOVE the way you can invest in ICO's. I think it's the way of investing of the future. Period. But you simply can not deny the fact that there are A LOT of scams out there. It's not just some fake news spread by scared banksters who see their world/power crumbling down. That's just not true. I invested in a lot of ico's last summer. Most of them made profits, sometimes huge profits. When the market turned red, I stopped investing money and started investing time. I turned to bounty hunting (mostly translation jobs, some sig). By doing that I read a lot of WP, did a lot of research of teams and websites and then it started to occur to me that there are A LOT of fake teams, fake linkedins, vaporware products that only consist of marketing. I always wonder: how is it possible that if they present you a team of so called experts with years of relevant experience in IT, financial industry, marketing, etc that in most cases these people are nowhere to be found prior to the ico? You google them: nothing, you search for their pictures: nothing, you google the companies they so called worked for: you can't find them (you can find the companies but you can't find evidence that they worked there). There are only a few ico's that I participated in (with a bounty) that were 100% transparant, where you could actually find the people aboard. Neufund was one of them. Most of the times those icos are the ones with hardly any bonuses, no pre-sales, no months long ico's, no facebook and telegram lemmings who try to shill a product and team they don't know. I thank you and also kendra1107 for your valuable feedbacks. It's definitely true some con artists tried to piggyback on the crypto craze and came up with completely fake ICO projects; however these are not that difficult to spot, and I would also argue not statistically more prevalent compared to the percentage of scams in traditional venture capital and startup investments. One obvious litmus test, which you also brushed upon, is the visibility and presence of the team. Prior to participating in an ICO or even Bounty, try to reach out directly to one of the founders of the project. If he responds genuinely and within reasonable time frame, and if his credentials check out, it's a pretty strong indicator that the team is legit and active. 99 % of all scam ICO's have anonymous team or so thinly veiled fabricated stories that it falls apart completely upon even a brief glance into the career / CV of the owners... |

I've noticed quite some changes in ICOs and bounties:
- The whole market is flooded with BS projects
- There are way too many ICOs
- Teams are often fake
- Telegram groups of 25k people don't mean a thing
- Hardcaps aren't reached anymore. Remember a few months ago when some ico's were sold out in minutes? When does that still happen? It doesn't... the contrary is happening: icos last for months and months
- Bounties: they sell them by their hardcap number at the price of the last stage. For example: 4 million USD bounty! That is IF all 400.000.000 tokens are sold AND you could sell them at the last price of 0.1$ which you never will.
- Bounties/caps are often calculated in eth and for some reason ico-people still think 1 eth is 1000$. Wake up and smell the news! 1 eth is less than half of that!
- Nobody is buying tokens anymore
- They lie about how many tokens are sold
- Private investors... don't make me laugh. There are no private investors.... If there were, they would be bragging about which ones which they don't. ALL lies and more lies.

1) Cardano (ADA). a total game changer for many reasons, you can do your own diligence, info about it is everywhere.
2) PCL, still at the ICO stage, at a cent / token, this will be the surprise hit for 2018, its predictive AI will dominate the financial markets, extremely professional and hardworking team, take a note of this token Peculium.
3) BAT, already discussed, I agree with the previous posters mentioning this. The leader in tokens facilitating advertisements and digital marketing.

wow that is insane. Political correctness in the USA is at unbelievably oppressive levels, and private corporations participating in this is really without any honor and morality.
But ultimately it would be a loss for twitter, as it gets eclipsed and replaced by a decentralized and liberated social media platform.

The biggest problem with bounties right now is organized groups usually from 3rd world countries where labor is very cheap, so a smart guy can easily pay 100s of interns a few dollars per week and make them participate into the same bounty campaign, diluting the rewards for all, and consolidating in himself tremendous gains earned by the cheap labor of 3rd world workers...

But for sure, it is a better time to invest than in December  if you are talking about december when people are routinely cashing out because they need the money to go shopping, then you're right. However, there are also other factors that are not easy to anticipate especially the one involving the global regulation of cryptos. No he means the vast majority of crypto currencies are cheaper now compared to Dec 2017, so the original poster would have been right to show a little bit of patience... |

If Bitcoin falls further, it will eventually open the way for even more altcoins to dominate the crypto space.
It's well known that the schism between a minority of Bitcoin core developers and more practical proponents like Roger Ver have caused a lot of problems for Bitcoin brand, and its usability as a currency is way down compared to last year, regardless of the reasons. That's part of why altcoins gained such a stronghold and seized a huge portion of the overall marketshare, whereas it used to be Bitcoin was in overwhelming dominance, but these hierarchies, as with all early tech ventures, can change rapidly.

This is sound advice, but in these extremely bearish climates, even some of the more robust ICO projects are expected to eventually converge to 0. While that might be an erroneously bleak prediction, it might make sense to sell at least some of your holdings to pick it up much cheaper later unless you have specific reasons to believe your choice of ICO or newbie coin can withstand the enormous short term downward pressure...

BCH price has recently gone down much more than BTC proportionally, and BCH / BTC is trading at less than 0.1 now.
The fact that quite a number of famous crypto influencers were paid behind closed doors to shill & promote BCH over BTC only added to the notoriety of this altcoin, and put it at even a further disadvantage as a contender coin for anything... BCH can flourish only if its proponents learn to compete with honor and dignity.

Bu kaos ortamında büyük başarıdır. O yüzden Binance'teki fiyatı uygun gözükse de alım yapmak için biraz daha bekleyebilirsiniz, çok iddialı projelerin bile ICO*3 gibi listed olduğunu gördük daha önce, ICO*10 hele ki bu ayı piyasasında çok primli bir fiyattır... |
