3161  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 09, 2022, 08:26:48 PM
Has Stake been hacked? I received what looks to be a valid email from noreply@stake.com (email headers match - it's not simple spoofing), with the subject "Stake: Welcome to the new VIP program!" and a body offering more bonuses. Clicking the link, I get redirected to http://sso-stake.com, which is currently offline and definitely doesn't look like an official Stake domain. The domain was just registered today going off of whois records, so I suspect whatever platform Stake uses for email marketing might have been hacked and used for a phishing campaign.
They just posted this phishing warning few minutes ago to their telegram group.

Thanks for staying vigilant. I am paranoid enough to always check urls from anywhere i get them but getting post from correct email might fool people easily.

But correct me if i am wrong but Email spoofing doesn't need hacking the site to work afaik.
As we can see Team Stake is working quickly to resolve this issue, I've also seen that announcement on their official telegram channel giving a notification about this issue, I also got an email but not sure to click on it

Yes, I also got the same message in Telegram and they said that they are working with it.

And also the email system was down, I try to withdraw a couple of hours ago, didn't get the unique withdrawal code. But after some time, their was a message from the live support (as I have ping them), that everything is normal now. So I try to withdraw again and it went it in. So just be careful about those emails that we are getting right now, there are lot designed to steal from us.
3162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling today and lesson i learnt on: November 09, 2022, 02:26:55 PM
The thread is not to ask sympathy but to share lesson i learnt from gambling such as you can gain from it something.

I learn not to play roullete frequently.

Make your money and leave.

For example come to a roullete game with 1000 usd try to mmake 5000 usd in 3 minutrs and leave.

Or better yet, just play roulette and just have some fun, I also play roulette a lot in land base casinos, and just like you I win some and lose some.

When you play witj self doubts and when you are pessimsitic you more likely to lose. Again energy manifest so know when to stop.

Dont be depended on the casino for your income. Me fot example lost 2000 usd today but ill get it in 7bdays max from my work. Is not my life saving.

Of course, not sure how can be anyone here to be dependent on gambling as a means to an end. Good for you if you can earn $2k per week. But majority of us here are not that lucky to have that kind of money.

Good luck though, it seems that you are going to continue to gamble and hopefully you can win big again.
3163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can roullete be rigged? on: November 09, 2022, 01:24:19 PM
Again, I mentioned before that roulette can be intentional or not-intentional being rigged by casinos. You can find a machine that is biased for certain numbers, but it's that because of how the machines are set up by the casinos themselves without knowing that is is not balance, hence it is biased due to some  imperfections.

On the other hand, if they know this before hand, then obviously, they can set it up to trap gamblers and give them more house edge. But that is hard to proved, unless you will do what they call clocking, wherein putting hours after hours of recording the winning numbers.
3164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 09, 2022, 12:50:33 PM
As per WBC:

Quote
The WBC stands firm on its previous order to not sanction any fights taking place in Russia or Belarus.

That ruling has now extended down to the fighters who hail from and proudly represent either nation.

All fighters from Russia and Belarus are being removed from the WBC rankings. The WBC will not sanction fights in those two countries and no national citizen from those two countries can compete for a WBC championship title.

https://www.boxingscene.com/wbc-remove-all-boxers-from-russia-belarus-from-its-rankings-policy-exceptions-explained--170317

Well as much as we don't like politics and sports being mixed up, unfortunately, Russian boxers are now being sanctioned by WBC with few exceptions. So it will be tough being a Russian in today's boxing and this is because of the consequences of the war.

3166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing $350,000 because of a friend, what would you do? on: November 07, 2022, 11:30:07 PM
He particularly chose Black 15 for $10K on roulette which he could have won $350,000 but a friend took the $10K and replace a safer bet. I know this is likely not to happen in real life. But let's say it did. What would you do?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT4GcK6Dpkk
I was trying to look for Kevin Hart movies on Netflix so I found one. Turns out one scene is an unsatisfying win.

Let's assume for argument sake.

In any case though, this bet could be voided by the dealer because it was touch by someone other than the bettor himself. He could have called it before calling "no bets". Ok, if the dealer allows it, obviously, he has to pay only $35k. Now the problems arises between these friends, I haven't seen the movie, but it real life, this could be trouble though and maybe some physical altercations between them. For me of course, going to be very difficult as I supposed to win $350k and probably give everyone a big tip, but I have to think about it and maybe I will forgive my friend after sometime. It's just money anyways, for sure if you can bet $10k, probably you can make more money in the future, just saying. But the friendship can't be replace.
3167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 07, 2022, 11:07:29 PM
I guess the one that is going to adjust here is the gamblers themselves, I know, it's going to be mentally tough specially if you have just withdrawn from gambling and suddenly you find ads that might entice you. But if you are really that strong psychologically, this will be a big test for you whether you can withstand that temptation or not. As you have compare it to any other form of addiction, people can quit and won't relapse, it's all on the mind. On the contrary, maybe it's better if you keep yourself away from computer and internet will you recover. There are so many things that can keep you busy. Or just limit yourself per day probably just to check your emails and some important stuff, not to surf around.
3168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History of Bingo on: November 07, 2022, 10:17:27 PM
Not sure though if there is a casino that listed bingo in their platform.

But here in our country, bingo games is very popular as it is being played when there is like a an event with festivities (fiesta). Yes, another kind of games that is so fun and exciting specially during last games that we call "blackout" wherein you have to marked all the numbers in your cards.

I'm not a fan of this game though to be honest.  Grin
3169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 07, 2022, 09:58:01 PM
But before that, the next big fight in Boxing will be on December 23, and it is the Fury vs. Chisora fight Location will be in Tottenham, London, England, I think this is an awaited event because it is Tyson Fury, and under the card was a regular Heavyweight fight the co-main Daniel Dubois VS Kevin Lerena fight with the EBU European Lightweight Title belt fight Yvan Mendy VS Denis Berinchyk fight and lastly EBU European Light Heavyweight Title belt fight Callum Johnson VS Thomas Faure, I guess there are many title fights in just one event, that is coming this December,

The fight between Tyson Fury and Chisora isn't that attractive.  It looks like Fury just nitpicked Chisora so that he can earn money without any high risk of losing.  If we look at Chisora's record, 12 losses  where two of them is comig from Fury, so this coming fight would possibly be the third losses of Chisora to Fury (2014-11-29 and 2011-07-23)[1].

Yes, it was a obvious cherry pick fight for Tyson Fury. First, he said that he wanted to fight Usyk, but Usyk said he is not available obviously, he need to his body to heal and rest and the best option for him is next year at his home country. And then he calls Joshua out, for all British Heavyweight showdown, seems they are on the negotiation table, then suddenly it went South. And then they blame each other for the failed fight. And suddenly he announced that we will have a fight with Chisora. A fighter that he already beaten twice. So it doesn't make sense for his fans, but it's a get busy fight for him, so that he will remain active come next year.
3170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 07, 2022, 09:37:18 PM
Hi all - so I have been playing at smaller crypto casino for a few years now. They have a TRX site and a USDT site. I have always played at the TRX site and have always had no issues with withdrawals etc. (Largest was around $26K USD)

I've started playing the USDT side recently and a week ago won $128K USD playing a few different Habanero and CQ9 games. I am waiting just over a week now with the casino telling me they are waiting for a verification report from the game provider and then they'll release my funds.

Not gonna lie I am getting worried and wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience or may have some insight. Thanks in advance!!

Not to burst the bubble for you, we have heard similar stories, and they are all here in this board,  Scam Accusations.

I'm not saying to create one, although there could be accusations on casinos, some of them payed right away if their fraud department determining that the player won without taking advantage of the casinos, in short it was clean.

So in your case if you think you won fairly then all you have to do is wait for them to release the winnings to you.
3171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 07, 2022, 09:22:41 PM
So, this match is just a month and a few days to wait. And this match is already booked in Duelbits and look at high the odds are.
1.02 for Naoya and 11.00 for Butler. Well, just like what the crowd is talking about Naoya who's going to win this match but if you're a gambler and you believe on some lucky punch of Butler, this is going to take a lot of risk if you're going to bet with such amounts.

The odds were already available early but if only the ML odds are out for now, it's not attractive for bettors as no one would bet on Inoue with an odds of 1.02, that was insane, although he will likely win, but would your risk with that 1.02? I guess we should wait for more alternatives.

No, even if you bet huge amount of money at 1.02 odds, the returns is going to be small.

It's probably be better to bet on the over and under round, most probably bookies might set it around 7.5. Although the under 7.5 might be around 1.5 I reckon, so still not that huge odd but still better if we compare it to the ML. Definitely the over might be higher, but with Inoue's record of breaking his opponent at under 6 rounds, it could be tempting but the risk is higher.
3172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 07, 2022, 01:06:05 PM
I think long term. Investing now in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency can be a life changing decision because of the underlying blockchain technology that makes this possible which can help you make money online even if you don't have any technical skills.

Everybody can make money online, with or without bitcoin, it's that crypto or at least bitcoin can give someone a huge profit, but you have to accumulate and hold long term and that's what makes it more difficult here. It's because of the mental aspect. In also involved that you have the psychological ability not to sell too early or to late in order to maximize your profits here.

The cryptocurrency market has experienced a lot of fluctuation over the past year or so. If you are looking for profit, this is undoubtedly the right time to start your investment in Bitcoin and others.

Yes and that's what separate crypto to the rest of financial markets. It's so volatile, but you can take advantage of it as what daily traders is doing. But for the majority, just a simple strategy of buying cheap bitcoin and accumulate over the years.
3173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 270 dollar in roullete plan on revenge on: November 07, 2022, 12:19:57 PM
Today i was in colombia lost 1.4 million pesos
Even lucky people like me got it wrong sometime

I plan to revenge and withdrawed 1000 usd from my bank to make big bets and beat them.

When i cane back they  closesd he casino they lucky to close before i play again i had all my adrelaine and mood to win and bankrupt them.
Tomorrow i visit them again and take what is mine.

Btw i recover most  on the funds with bc.game today but i want revenge on this casino phyisical casino.

Ok, it seems that you are posting some big wins lately, unfortunately, I think this is the first time that he has lost big. And so just like the usual mentality of gamblers, we wanted to get revenge and recoup what we have lost.

Anyhow, it's weird though that the physical casinos is closed, usually it runs 24x7, even brick and mortar casinos in our place.

Nevertheless, goodluck, I doubt though that you can bankrupt the physical casino, if they see you winning big then maybe they might kick you out for making a lot of money.
3174  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Gaming Revu on: November 07, 2022, 11:55:52 AM
It took some time for me for the image to load though, perhaps you need to adjust the site of your image.

Anyhow, it seems that you have reviewed those old and OG websites like Stake and Primedice. Although there have been a lot of casinos that has been born from the pandemic, 2020 and up that you may need to include as well so that your review sites will broaden it's reach.

So best of luck, and welcome to the community.
3175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ dumping FTT on: November 07, 2022, 11:27:56 AM
CZ is probably washing his hands if ever FTT or FTX failed (or has it, as the price goes down hard).

So it's him doing some damage control, but it seems his tweets has some negative effects that has really contributed to the demise of the project.

Maybe he just wanted to warn the public, for sure though, this kind of tweet of CZ has somewhat put the damp on the whole crypto, bitcoin goes below $21k already.

3177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 07, 2022, 10:24:48 AM
It only means that the Lakers have to work better than everyone else. They're now dwelling in losses and if this continuous then this is going to be another sad season for the whole Lakers and the investment that they've taken for these players are not worth it.

I do not think it is a total loss, not just yet. Everytime I see Westbrook taking control of the ball, there are always easy two's for Lebron or Davis, whoever is available. I think they are getting the right plays but the fire power is really not yet enough. I think they will start winning when they secondary units starts to be comfortable with each other and their outside shooting is fixed. It is early in the season and a lot has to be done but I right now, I see some sparks of improvement.
They have to restrategize and think on what part they can be used at maximum. Yeah, we're seeing that all of them are being used and showing the best of it.
But what they lack of is when they're being lead on by their opponent and it's like they're no longer playing as a team. Maybe this isn't on their end but maybe on the coaching side.
It's hard to say but this is just me, as a fan and that's what I've noticed as someone who watches the game but no idea what's actually happening and being discussed in the bench.

They individual want their stats up that's why they are struggling to get a better rotation then get a win. If they change their mindset and allow their teammates to do their job especially on scoring or other things they can contribute well maybe we can see a better lakers. They should not focus only on WB,Davis and LBJ only they should try different rotation or combination since maybe they can see which of them will fit together.

I think Darvin Ham is doing  that, in the last couple of games, they are not focus on their big 3, but the problem is that the second unit are not producing numbers for them. So if Lebron and AD sit, usually their opponent make a run and it's hard for them to catch up once the team took the lead because they have lost their momentum already.

So I don't see the Lakers really improving this year, and I will say that their teams is better off last year as compare to this season. Only bright thing for the Lakers this season is Lebron breaking records but that's it, not seeing them as going to the top of the West.
3178  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, more closer bullish days ahead. on: November 07, 2022, 10:06:47 AM
Analysing the BTC price some days ago on the daily chart in reconciliation to the bull momentum it enjoyed within the past few days and still fluctuating around $20300 and $20600 the past few days, for many persons, the impression of buying long wouldn't be a bad idea as BTC value could hit at $22,400 presumably above by January or February  2023 based on personal speculations.
What do you think? Do you also see the BTC  promising price future am seeing irrespective of the great role volatility  plays in the market, and shouldn't be undermined as price can go south at any seconds or am I just the only one seeing it.

I do not see the price of bitcoin rising early next year. We may have a small pump this year, especially this month, but I think that's it. The market is still very volatile right now and the most I expect is a little pump this month then will eventually go down next month that will continue unto the following year. It is normal that there is a small pump in November as it is always like that in the previous years as well.

As most are expecting, there will be no major pump until the next halving or the year after the halving. It is already an established pattern unless it is broken this halving. I am inclined to prepare for that event rather than catch the small pumps here and there en route to the bull market after the halving.

Yes, still a long way to go for us to see some good pump, as for the recent spike, I think this is just a bounce back as we have been below $20k for quite sometime now. And $20k is a psychological barrier and support line. Although the price did bounce back as high as $21k, now it seems that it's just around $20,700, a lot of sellers in the last 24 hours.

So it's better to just continue to accumulate before the actual halving. The last time, I did it like a year before the halving. But now I guess I can do better myself to start as early as this year to start accumulating myself. And then 2023 and wait for the eventual bull run in 2024.
3179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 06, 2022, 11:52:14 PM
Well, if he is open to fighting Canelo Alvarez I think that is good enough but yeah a Unification title fight would be great aswell for me Artur Beterbiev is a bigger threat to Dmitry Bivol than Canelo Alvarez it could dirty his clean record and I really don't like that to happen, but for the enjoyment of all It will be a crazy fight,

According to some replies the fight with Canelo would be  more possible to happen since Bivol - Beterbiev is somehow impossible due to boxing politics.  It is a sad thing that even sports is greatly affected by politics.  So we will be missing this Unification fight until the problem with their promoter is fixed.

Sad but true, this is not the first time though, boxing politics have been with us decades already, it's just they are more magnify right now with all the managers tying up with networks like Sho, ESPN and now DaZN, so it makes it's impossible to make big fights because it's business as well.

If ever both party agreed for a rematch, I wonder which weight Division are they fighting, would it be Canelo's division? or Bivol's division?  If ever Canelo go up in weight division just to fight Bivols in his natural Division, I think we will be seeing the same result like their first fight.

I don't think that Bivol can go and fight at 168 lbs, he has been a true light heavy weight fighter in his career. So most likely if Canelo insisted at this comfortable weight, Bivol is not going to take the fight. Canelo has 2 fights already in light heavy weight so I guess there is no problem for him moving up again and rematch Bivol. Although the result might still be the same as you have said.
3180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 06, 2022, 11:24:30 PM
But I'm just curious regarding on his weight, any news about him? It's so unlikely that we're not getting any news from him, I just wanna know if he's still struggling to get the required weight in this division.

He only struggled to maintain weight at around 118 lbs therefore at 122-125 lbs, there should be at least no problem.

Not that much news about him because we can fairly assume that this fight is not really a big fight to consider.

Maybe a few days or weeks before the fight, we can at least see some local sports news giving pre-match analysis on this fight.

True, 118 lbs was really a problem for him and I think his body can't no longer go that low without giving him any problems. So it's a right move for him to go 122 lbs, and I will speculate that he won't have a problem making this weight this time. If his walking weight is around 126 - 130 lbs, then it's easy to shed that 5 lbs or more in the 3-4 months that he will go full and hard training. And I will also assumed that he will get someone to monitor his weight along the way just to make sure that there will be no issues in his new weight class.

Agree with you both. Struggling in the 118 lbs is even the big reason to consider why he moved up weight as they don't want to struggle anymore catching that weight because maybe in Casimero's current lifestyle, he's now playing at around 125 lbs to 130 lbs.

Besides, if ever he is still at over 10 lbs at the required catchweight a few days before this match, he is allowed to do the sauna and everything lol. The use of a sauna is only prohibited under the terms of the British Boxing Council that's why Donaire even points out that it should not be the reason for Casimero being stripped with the title although the point there is, Casimero should follow the jurisdiction of the host country.

Yes, it will be smooth transition moving to 122 lbs and I do believed that he can carry his power to that new division.

Donaire could be right about Casimero's case, but the problem is, this is the second time that he has been given chance by WBO to perform his duty as the champion. In the first supposedly fight with Butler, he goes down and become ill. He was given the chance by the organization when he submitted a medical report (and I suspect that he has difficulty already making the weight that time). But in the second one, he clearly violated BBBoC and the WBO can't do anything or their hands are force to stripped Casimero of his world title and Butler winning it against Sultan.
