From the help file: -G,--opencl When mining use the GPU via OpenCL. The algorithm is memory hard and in order to fit the DAG into memory, it needs 1-2GB of RAM on each GPU. If you get Error GPU mining. GPU memory fragmentation? you havent got enough memory. I have 2xRadeon 5970 each one has 2Gb Ram. The system RAM is 12GB. Without the -G I think the CPU was mining as you are saying... What is GPU memory fragmentation? Thanks, Bogdan Does your mobo maybe have integrated graphics? I ve had a situation where it tried to mine with that GPU by default. Even 5970 s at the edge of being useful for Ether. Anything lower then 280x level s not that fun. |

You mean BTC38 ? I applied in January 2016 for them to include Factom in their exchange, they said would think, but did not add. P.S. I'll write again and requested to add Factom on their exchange. Saw some people left the campaign and I was wondering if I can get one of the slots they left. If the campaign will be fixed and return to it's normal weekl payment then I'd be more willin to participate. I hope marco would consider hiring a campaign manager to manage this campaign and also make manual payments. I guess it's better than to automate the payments with a faulty bot.

I had several reasons: - I'm looking for a place to invest (more) money - I always wanted to see a datacenter - I could vouch for their service here on the forumGuess what they replied. It's work in progress, we don't have an exact date yet but it's not too far away. It's currently being finalized and tested by the team, however testing needs to be thorough for a stable release. Stay tuned for announcements and calls for testing.  This is important. This is what makes us move up and forward. Hope to read more news about this soon. Forget about arbitrage, it s obviously not possible to buy lower in China, due to some reason or they would be doing by now like crazy. So the only other option is for the Chinese price to rise to match Polo. Another question is why a Chinese seller would sell lower there then move to Polo and sell higher? Simply not possible. |

I m with whiteorg72 on this one. Factom can and should surpass Ether. Do not forget Ether s got significant supply coming in from thousands of miners every day. What do they do? They immediately cash in for BTC and keep price suppressed.
There s no additional daily supply of Factoids, at least ATM. Not a single one. Current amount is limited.
If China gets in onto Factom, the price might reach 10$ easily.
This is not pumping, this has always been my personal opinion, even pre-this pump. However, one must have in mind the fact both Ether and Factom are heavily bot populated markets. Which means not only market conditions determine the price but also traders and speculators.
Be careful what you do and never invest what you cannot afford to lose.

I d say I have more faith in Factom then Ether. Why?
Factoids ve got very clear and specific every day usage, if developed as they should be. Also, factoids cannot be mined so there no everyday supply of new coins ATM.
Very potent combination, IMHO.
Let s see what happens over the next few days and weeks.
