3182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token? on: October 28, 2017, 04:27:50 PM
Well, it doesn't really matter whether you call it a token or not, the thing that matters is you know the gap in significance and advantages between bitcoin and other coins (in short, the difference of the two). For me, bitcoin is not just a token, I prefer to call it a "money" because it already exceed the capabilities of a token. Bitcoin is so powerful that it can do what a fiat money can do compare to the hundreds of new tokens spreading in the market that you still need to convert to btc first in order to become more beneficial.

It's ok to bitcoin being called a token but always remember that bitcoin is always in the top so you should stop to compare it to other tokens because they are not on the same level. Bitcoins already have a legacy which others don't have.
3183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers are active these days. on: October 28, 2017, 06:31:48 AM
Some bitcoin users told me not to do transactions in these couple of days because hackers are active these days. I want to know is it true? or some kind of rumor? Anyone here who have faced such problem?
Hackers do not choose what time they will do their dark intentions, as long as there is an opportunity then they will become active. If you want to withdraw for these days then do it, don't be hindered by these rumors but always make sure to think before you click because security is very important in this kind of business.
3184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the transaction price of bitcoin so high? on: October 27, 2017, 11:26:10 PM
Now I know! So the high transaction fees also depend on the chosen wallet. Unluckily I chose a "horrible" wallet for my bitcoins and I think I don't have any choice (changing the bitcoin wallet I am using is not an option because I guess this is the only wallet supported by our country, others are all foreign) but to accept the fact that it has very high fees.

My bad experience to this wallet is when I'm sending .0002 btc then I was shocked when it states that the total payment is .0004+ . It means that .0002+ is my fee. OMG!
3185  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: October 27, 2017, 03:51:17 PM
I think they always say this everytime there's a drop happening to bitcoins, they are losing some hope until they came to the point that they conclude things without supporting any proof. This is a bad habit so this must be stop because its very wrong to overthink and always choose to focus on the dark side, all of us must think positivity and trust to bitcoins. Smiley
3186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling, But don't worry! on: October 27, 2017, 03:01:53 PM
Bitcoin started falling and might fall upto $4800. The main support is at $4800, bitcoin markets supports doesn't works like other currencies as rumors and fake peoples makes panic between peoples to make the market fall and buy coins in cheaper price. Now its time!!  Grin Buy more BTC's because BTC is going to $10K soon!!

Yes!! Last month this same f**k happened with us with JP Morgans speech and panic between peoples. Let bitcoin fall as much as possible and buy more coins that you can make more money. Bitcoin is the #1 Number One Online Currency now and popular in all over world.  Wink

Now it starts falling and you will find rumors in google about fakes news to make panic between peoples. Bitcoin will be higher in $6000+

#ITS_TIME_TO_BUY

Yes! I agree with you, this is just another scenario like what happened about JP Morgan's speech, also China's banning and many other bad criticisms threw to bitcoins. But I'm glad that at the end bitcoins are still standing and remaining strong that's why I'm always relaxed now every time bitcoin's price are dropping because I always give my 100% trust to bitcoins that it can still overcome even in the highest tides. Smiley
3187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: October 27, 2017, 04:28:37 AM
Actually my regrets in bitcoins are not too big but it still matters to me. I regret for spending too much time in claiming in bitcoin faucets because before I believed that it is a good source of earning since it is free but later on I realized that I'm only wasting my time and effort in returning to website every hour/minute and in solving so many captchas and get only fractions of bitcoins in return. I realized that my losses are bigger compare to my earnings so I decided to stop it.
3188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries developing their own Cryptos on: October 26, 2017, 11:31:11 AM
I think Canada already had their own cryptocurrency, it's called Mint Chip (if I'm not mistaken) and I saw that its value is very small when you compare it to the leading coins today.

I think countries who made their own cryptocurrency seems made a bad decision because that move was not very practical actually. It seems that they are the one who made enemies in their fiat money. Another thing, introducing another coin in the market is very risky, they must give more support there if they want to stay very long.
3189  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be Taxed...... on: October 26, 2017, 09:08:04 AM
Well, I disagree for the idea of putting tax on bitcoins because I don't want my earnings got lessen; who wants to have a lessened earning, no one right?

I decide to say no to tax because of my personal interests but just for the sake of our economy I will let it to be implemented if ever, but in one condition: our governments must used the taxes claimed in giving solutions to our economical problems and also give support for bitcoin's wide advertisement and applications to our society (since it is also beneficial for them).
3190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of Foolishness on: October 25, 2017, 08:02:49 PM
About 18 months ago, I took all of my saving to invest in Bitcoin.

I did that without telling my wife. She was so angry and said how foolish I was.

Yesterday, I show her my BTC wallet and the current price of Bitcoin...  Grin Grin Grin

"Honey, please look at my Proof of Foolishness" I told her. "and I will foolishly continue holding these BTC untill the price reach 500,000 USD. I wish by then I will once again show you how foolish I am"
After knowing that your investment in bitcoins got huge already, I'm sure that your wife realize now that you are right and she must be the one to be called a fool because what if you choose to stop and follow her then you don't have a good amount of money now. Smiley

You are so brave because you invest all of your savings into bitcoins where in fact, it is not strong enough to stay and might vanish unlike today. You deserved it mate! Smiley
3191  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: October 25, 2017, 05:51:14 AM
When I took Basic Economics class way back 2016 here in our college school, we don't even discuss about bitcoins and if my professor discussed it at that time, I think I'm now a Legendary member here hehehe. Until now, I never heard that curriculums here already add topics about bitcoins but I still hope this will be implemented soon since our country is now coping K-12 Program. And I think this would be great if ever implemented because at least students will be enlightened to the system of cryptocurrency and might have a chance to engaged here in the future.
3192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when you try to explain people about cryptocurrency do they understand? on: October 24, 2017, 10:38:50 AM
at the beginning it took me some time to explain people about this market.
i wonder:
when you try to explain people about cryptocurrency do they understand?
My brother and sister, also my classmates, are intrigue to what I'm doing and they always tend to ask what is bitcoin. I explain to them thouroughly and state its advantages and significances, I think they understood my explanation although they still have some doubts because they can't believe that I can earn real money through this (in signature campaigns to be more specific) and they can't believe that a not tangible thing can have a value like real money does. In the end, some of them believe in me and some of them believe that what I'm doing is a scam (sounds funny, right?).
3193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miami Homeowner Accepts Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash for $6.5 Million Mansion on: October 24, 2017, 12:30:32 AM
I salute to sir Komaransky! Smiley He is so brave enough to sell his own mansion that costs millions of dollars into cryptocurency — an unstable currency! I admire admire him for having the guts to take risks because if I'm in his position, I will definitely sell it for fiat money and get only a partial of it to invest in bitcoins.

This person is a good example for the future of bitcoins. If all people has a kind of thinking like Mr. Komaransky, I'm sure that bitcoins will overpower fiat. Smiley

3194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin reaches a record level, surpassing $ 6,000 on: October 23, 2017, 10:38:52 PM
Bitcoin reached record value Friday, exceeding the $ 6,000 threshold, and reaching a total capitalization of over $ 100 billion, as investors continue to look optimistically at this virtual currency, which exists in limited quantities and which has opened the way for several  ... More
This was so cool! At the first place, I can't believe it because last time I checked it was 295,000+ pesos then my classmate said that it grows bigger and it is more than 300,000 pesos now. I'm shocked at that time because of fast growing rate of bitcoins and take note, only in a short period of time only. Bitcoin never fail to amaze us! Smiley

I hope this will continue and I hope that thr upcoming hard fork will not affect bitcoin's price.
3195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2017, 12:05:23 PM
My current accumulated amount of bitcoins in my digital wallet is just less than .005 btc only since I'm still new in joining signature campaigns, and I decide to keep it but I need some money for my date with my girlfriend so I have no choice but to make a partial withdraw in my account. This was a hard decision for me but it's still okay because I know that I will earn it again. Smiley

But after this, I'll make sure that I will not withdraw again unless my earnings are huge enough and I'm satisfied with the exchange rates because I plan to buy so many things in the near future. I want to buy a 4 stroke motorcycle, a brand new smartphone, branded shirts and shoes, and I also plan to make an earphone collection.
3196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much closer is Bitcoin to being mainstream? on: October 23, 2017, 04:38:52 AM
Bitcoin is a liitle bit near to be accepted by everyone but still way too far to being mainstream. Being in the mainstream is very hard to attain because it means an overall change in the system of our currency; there are so much things that bitcoins must accomplish first. Bitcoins are hindered to become legal and adopt our current systems that we have at the present because of its loop holes and disadvantages. As long as opposers of btc see something wrong in using it then they will try and try to pull it down.

So I think bitcoin must prove something more in order to convince all for its implementation. Let's just wait for the mean time and trust in its potentials. Smiley
3197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2017, 10:41:09 PM
I am a newbie in Bitcoin Forum.I know some of the most important uses of Bitcoin. They are:
1.You can buy a flight ticket.
2.You can rent a hotel room.
3.you can buy pizza and other food related goods.
4.You can use it as a investment vehicle because bitcoin will continue to grow in value.

I want to know other important uses of it.

Aside from that, bitcoins are also used in online shopping and online services. But on the bad side, it was also serve as a form of payment used in transactions in deep web. This was also used in buying drugs, used to buy illegal firearms, used to buy slaves and sex dolls, used to hire a hitman, and used for torturing a person. (I hope police authorities take a strong action regarding this)

But here in my country, bitcoins are not yet popular as much as popular there abroad. Yes! There are few who knew and used it but bitcoins are not yet used as a form of payment here therefore you must first convert it to fiat in order to use.
3198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My cousins story about bitcoin (scam related story + scam believes) on: October 22, 2017, 09:55:20 PM
Well, that's a sad story. There are so many scammers spread around the web so you should advice your cousin to buy only in legit online shops here in our country (like Lazada and OLX). And

Your cousin are scammed once, but it doesn't mean that everything is a scam. Your cousin is just unlucky because he fail to choose the right option. Motivate him to engage again with bitcoin, prove to him that this is not a scam and you can definitely earn through this. My advice is try again to convince your cousin and this time guide him for every actions he will do to avoid mistakes so that his bad perspective about btc will change as time goes by.
3199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why I hate BITCOIN on: October 22, 2017, 01:00:56 PM
Not selfish dear, I strongly think altcoin should be given their chance to prove their Worth
I respect your opinion, yes it's true that altcoins are also advantageous in their own ways but it doesn't mean that you will become a one sided person and not consider the other. Altcoins always have the chance to prove their worth but can't you see that bitcoins are worthy too (actually more worthy than altcoins). I don't see any reason to hate bitcoins because it already prove its significance.

My advice for you, why don't you try to not only engage in altcoins but also in bitcoins besides those two are both beneficial. Smiley
3200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Cashout BitCoins? on: October 22, 2017, 11:33:15 AM
Here in our country (Philippines), I used a digital wallet which is widely used by others.I think this became popular because it is a wallet that do not only support Peso (our currency) but also bitcoins and the good thing is you can directly convert btc to peso or vice versa. Another thing, you can not only withdraw your earnings through banks but also remittance centers that's why this is very convenient and user friendly especially to a student like me.

In your case, use an exchanger of btc to currency you used since you don't have a wallet like I'm using. Smiley
