3181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: November 10, 2019, 09:21:57 AM
Just curious here.
I know there are tons of way to live.

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

people who make a living onlyout of gambling (online or on rl)?

resources and comments on that are really welcome.

Gambling is a multi-billion dollar business, the governments are running gambling casinos to fund their various projects, business corporations create cities for gambling and we all the know one president whose business is running casinos.

Gambling creates jobs and of course, there are professional gamblers who can make millions in one night along, these are high rollers who make a living as a professional gambler, they can do these because some of them are loan sharks who lend money to his fellow gamblers.

Some gamblers have developed a strategy of their own that they can employ to win in gambling, they may not always win every night, but they make sure their winnings compensate for their losses.

I think there are a lot of people who leave in gambling and earn a lot of profit in gambling but I think making this as a profession is not a good idea because as we all know in gambling we don't always win the bet or the game sometimes or a lot of time we could also lose a great amount of money so I don't think it is recommended to make it your profession. Thinking of this I think gambling your money sometimes could be good but gambling all of your money probably is not a good gamble probably it is will be worth it if you invest some in your passive income.
3182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: November 10, 2019, 06:30:54 AM

People have the worng ideas for earn free bitcoin without work, if you want earn free bitcoin then you need more skills with hard working. There are a number of ways in which you can earn free Bitcoin, but for that you need to be competent in those things and work hard:

1. Writing about Bitcoin: If you have skills about bitcoin with the cryptocurrency market industry General knowledge then you can share and also earn bitcoin.

2. Micro Earning : Micro earning websites pay you in Bitcoin for completing small tasks. In return you can get a (very) small amount of Bitcoin.

3. BitcoinTalk Signature Campaigns: This is the most and popular ways you can earn more bitcoin with your expensive skills. If you want participate signature campaign then you need good rank and high post quality. Because here campaign manager will be follow your post quality so knowledge must have the crypto world.

4. Paid-to-Click PTC Websites: There are many PTC websites that will pay negligible amounts in Bitcoin for clicks and views theirs adds
This website allows users to choose between viewing ads that are 5 seconds, 10 seconds or 20 seconds, with different fees being awarded for each but you need to searching trust proof site with payment proof.

5. Bitcoin Trading: There is lot of potential to make money on trading in Bitcoin, but it takes a level of expertise and knowledge about the bitcoin market.

6. Bitcoin Investment : If you can be patient then you can make a lot of profit through the investment of Bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin goes down, you can buy and hold bitcoin and if you have enough patience time then after you will earn extra bitcoin profit.

Thanks to all..
I think this is just a wrong thinking of a lot of people to get bitcoin in the internet for free when I first started in bitcoin I also think of this about bitcoin because I have a lot of question also my friends and classmates told me that they were already earning a good amount of profit in bitcoin in the internet so I was curious if it was possible and I thought that it could easily earn since it is just a digital currency. But after I go to forums and learn about a lot of things in the cryptocurrency so I think if you don't have enough knowledge this is the first thing that you would think.
3183  Economy / Gambling / Re: introduction on: November 09, 2019, 01:58:08 PM
Do you require full KYC for deposits and withdrawals? The ones that regular sportbooks require when they send you a letter to confirm your address etc.
I see that you need to enter your full name, birthday, address info etc.

How about payments from pre-paid cards, are those accepted? Pre-paid cards are not tied to a name. They only have the information of the issuing bank.

Yes, just for withdrawal requires KYC I just registered and saw it, KYC must be sent via this email support@zanzibetnew.com

And for withdrawals can not use bitcoin is not available, only Skrill and Bank Transfers can now,

huh, if it's like this in my opinion it's rather difficult it should be even easier to withdraw and deposit it.
The Website was so easy to use and it is easy to register a new account on the website also they have an elegant design. I could see the support was already introduced in the website and I think really approachable if there are problems in the websites but if they cannot use bitcoin for withdrawals in the site I think the website is forcing you to invests your money and bet your bitcoin the website in my opinion the users should easily deposit in the website and the same as withdraw the website could charge a reasonable transaction fee and that's already it if the website is restraining you to withdraw your bitcoin I will not trust the website.
3184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: November 09, 2019, 01:24:16 PM
I am doing market research for a potential project.
If there was a website you could go to daily where you would earn anywhere from 1 cent - 10 cents worth of bitcoin just for clicking a button, would you do it?
No strings attached, no deposit required. You go to the website, push a button and 5 cents is deposited into your wallet. Would you go every day and do it, or is it not worth your time?

Like a Paid-to-Click site? With lots of scams nowadays, it will be a tough challenge for you but I think even for a small percentage, there should be someone who will test the waters there. Obviously and technically, you will not send the payment right after it was being credited to their respective account and you will set a minimum tier for them to be able the withdrawal, well to save fees. On that reason alone, one can be tired of achieving the minimum amount to withdraw and soon they will abandon their progress.

Why not just focus on the content instead? Not with the rewards, not with the prize, not with the benefits, but anyone will go to your website if there's a useful and interesting content there. Those small rewards are just a bonus.
Yes. Sometimes we also need to look the content and understand it an not just simply considering its price. I will definitely put some of my time on it if has good essence for me but if it's there without any valid reason, i won't waste my time on it. It's really impossible that a website will just give free cents without any hidden agenda.
In my opinion bitcoin faucets nowadays is not a good investment for your time, if you could visit a lot of websites in the internet that have a bitcoin faucet and could actually earn a small amount of bitcoin will a monthly claiming in the bitcoin faucet but for me it is not worth it to waste your time in claiming you could just do a signature campaign in the market and then a that will only eat a small amount of your time posting in the forum and also you are helping the community by answering their question and at the same time you could earn a good amount of profit.
3185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL Bounty campaigns Ever Keep to their Rules and Regulations on: November 08, 2019, 02:00:42 PM
Can we ever have a bounty campaign that stick to its Rules from the beginning to the end of the campaign. can that ever be possible just like the old days. bounty campaigns of early 2017 use to plead with participates. Ran a bounty of 3 weeks without any additional weeks. maintained a fixed number of token or pay amount without altering the total pay budget. stick to their rules of paying immediately at the stipulated time. Most of these projects are successful and remains top notch.

The truth about New projects these days is none of them are real. all are fake and copy cats. Knows that they have nothing to offer. they are just after the Money. if they are fortunate to raise the money, fine business starts.  but if not;everything scrap to the scratch.  it all depends on the money. money first. once it is realized, they do everything possible to protect the money not the project. from the project CEO to CEO. to the legal team and the rest.
Bounty participants are the LEAST in the list of Payment. before you join that bounty. Make sure you have the free time and won't regret in case target was not met.

Most of them do keep their words for bounty rules but if their project is a total scam, there's no use of the distributed tokens.
There are many other cases where the bounty users feels betrayed, sometimes project doesn't reach the softcap required for bounty distribution. Some project are withdrawn while some move forward with whatever they sold. Mostly bounty hunters doesn't get tokens and in rare case they do which is negligible. Eg. bitbond.
Sometimes they get the token but the token doesn't sees an exchange in their life, and sometimes the token doesn't even get a value of a satoshi.

I think the ICO are all over because their are already thousands of alternative token made and already regulating in the market with that the investors and the community cannot hold it anymore because a lot of the altcoins just end up becoming a dead coin because of the developer of the coins that do not properly maintain the token and did not advertise the token, so probably if the coin doesn't have its market or did not list in an exchange probably the token did not have a good value in the market. I think that whats makes a bounty campaign end up to be all scam in the forum.
3186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to fake the BTC blockchain? on: November 08, 2019, 10:34:31 AM
It's a bit of time I'm asking myself this question.
Let's imagine the following situation:
A guy visits another guy to receive a payment in BTC.
He doesn't have a mobile internet connection, so he asks his host to connect to his host's wi-fi.
His host, that we assume for the sake of our inquiry wants to scam his guest, connects him to a fake internet in which the real BTC blockchain was forked in order to fake a transaction that in really will never happen.
So once the first guy will go back home he'll see that his payment has disappeared.
Is this situation technically possible?
I this it is possible to do but the guy will notice it eventually of course and you just make it appear that he has received the transaction or make it appear like a legit transaction in the blockchain but not really a hack or sending a fake bitcoin, I think your going to need to crack the code of the bitcoin to fake a transaction but the method you just says is just making it appear a transaction was made but it was not. By the way transaction in the blockchain could sometimes cancel it happened to be sometimes due to traffic.
3187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 07, 2019, 04:53:36 PM
One day, I think to myself about how to spreads bitcoin to other people. After I create threads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191717.0, I see many of us don't try or don't have time to come into a gathering or make a meetup. So how we can introduce bitcoin to local people in our country if we are not trying to tells them about bitcoin? I know that will related to the regulations in every countries but we can introduce to our close friend so they will spread it into their closest friends too.

And if this is succeed, I think cryptocurrency will grow step by step. I know we can spread bitcoin online, but that doesn't mean all people in your country are aware of bitcoin. How they can know bitcoin if they never use the internet to search the news while we can tell them about bitcoin and another coin by offline.

The easiest way to invite people is to live by example, when I was starting out here when I try to tell them about Bitcoin and Blockchain they thought that I was inviting them to a Ponzi scheme, but after they saw that I am making progress in my life materially and they see through the many media news and Videos I've sent them, they finally realized how this technology can help them, you don't have to tell them they will eventually catch up because it's now becoming everywhere.
I think what we could do is introduced them to technology if the government could reach all the people in their country including native people and could teach them or provide them a proper education they will be more likely going to be introduced to technology and using the technology they could have knowledge in cryptocurrency and also bitcoin. We don't need to tell them about bitcoin what we need is to teach them what it is for it is better if they could learn the significance of it. Also justing posting in forums we already helping the cryptocurrency community to get bigger and bigger.
3188  Other / Archival / Re: 🎲🎲vipgame.io - crypto gaming platform🌟Daily Bet Race, Bet for 0.06BTC!🔥 on: November 07, 2019, 02:39:36 PM
Just want to suggest to have some faucet system with this new gambling site to attract some users to test out because I haven't seen this feature.

Faucet system wont attract real gambler, it will only attract faucet licker who usually spend their time in many gambling sites for the faucet only in a hope to win big from the faucet. VIP is running one time bonus, I think it is much more better than faucet. If faucet is already on their future plan, I would even suggest them to change it to better promotion system such as cashback/lossback/rakeback system so only real players will get the benefit.

Yes, We think so. You can see that the VIPGMAE airdrop is much more generous than the faucet. But everyone seems to be accustomed to the faucet system.
The team will consider this and other promotion systems you mentioned.
Yeah airdrop might have bigger amounts than on faucet but it totally different if a gambler would directly able to claim up their free coins into the site and able to play or test some games right away.

@Panjul07, im not saying that faucet can guaranteed attract real gambler but this is much more better having no faucet at all.

I think the magic of faucets is over. Faucets do not seem to be able to generate returns. But good promotions can attract people to the platform.
I think bitcoin faucet is a good thing to have in a lot of gambling cryptocurrency websites as it was a good thing for a lot of new gamblers on the websites. Also having it making the users comfortable to invest their money as the website have its own unique design and look like legit website. Also, it is a good thing to see in a website if the developers are not stopping to update designs and maintain or add more option for the users in the websites as their users is getting bigger.
3189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2019, 09:22:28 AM
Is this possible?  Example you lend bitcoin to something similar to like a bank and they give you interest on it?  Like how now they give you 2% interest?

I heard binance is doing something similar like that but it was like 10%?
Actually Binance is doing this because they are lending that money ahead to traders at higher rates. Advantage to Binance is that margin money provided for trading is almost at zero risk because liquidation price is set in such a way that the exchange never suffers any loss. So Binance themselves are earning a huge chunk of Interest and distributing merely like 10-15%. It's possible for exchanges to do so but outside that world it's never possible because there will be a list of people wanting their money back but zero people who will willfully come back to return their loans. If they don't then the intermediary will run at a risk of getting bankrupted as they can do nothing about this.
i've use a lot of hype or investment website which you could invest your money and it says that it will gain profit of 20percent per month and also i could earn a profit if i invest and invite someone to also invest in the website. I think this kind of websites work but not all of them works and legit they probably just end up just a scam. I think if the profit promise was to good to be true it will probably just end up to be a big scam.
3190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: November 06, 2019, 03:55:10 PM
In my experience its seems that

[1] some people seem to just "get" btc almost as soon as they are introduced to it,

[2]  others simply don't or

[3] become hostile without understanding BTC tech.

[4] Become hostile and do understand the tech.

The demarcation lines seem to me quite stark. Any theories as to why this is?

(I understand [5] those who just don't get it or are not interested, )

People will not just be going to buy bitcoin and they probably don't trust bitcoin with just hearing news about people who invested in bitcoin and become rich they will only going to believe if they earn a profit themselves in bitcoin. The first time I know about bitcoin I don't really trust it and also the news in our country is telling that bitcoin is a scam and it is a big risk if you invest your money in bitcoin more like they are just telling the bad side of bitcoin. In my opinion, the bitcoin community is getting bigger as time passes and bitcoin technology needs to be introduced properly as a currency and not just as an investment.
3191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: November 06, 2019, 02:45:48 PM
Do you still hold coins and wait for them to grow?
I trade every day and make a profit. I can make a few in one day. For a month, it turns out about 100%
Why sit and hodl coin?
I still hold my investment in altcoins like ethereum, xrp ,monero and bitcoin cash for almost a year i think this token have a lot of potential to pump in the market since the bitcoin and cryptocurrency community is starting to get bigger and bigger I'm expecting this tokens will increase its price and could potentially double its price I have a large volume of this token so that if the market price pump it will be a great profit for me. My bitcoin is the one i use in a lot of transaction I think bitcoin also is a good investment but in my opinion it is not a good investment for long term because of the high market price in market price could go down easily and you could lose aa lot of money in a small time.
3192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Legality effect on: November 06, 2019, 06:13:34 AM
my mind always asks, if one day bitcoin gets legal regulation, and is recognized all over the world. will fiat currencies continue to work? which country will be saved by the economy? and which countries are negatively affected? Or not effect in country. because in my opinion. when the legality of bitcoin is recognized throughout the world. There will be no currency difference. all values are the same. or will become commodity items such as gold etc. Give me your opinion
In my opinion i think bitcoin have a great effect in the economy and society of a country the legality of bitcoin was always on the line as we know bitcoin cannot be banned completely in a country anyone could is bitcoin anywhere in the world. Bitcoin is just like internet the government is cannot banned internet but they could blocked people from using it. Also bitcoin is completely legal to use  in many country but not everyone knows about it and the government was not sure about it.
3193  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoinslots.online on: November 05, 2019, 02:03:44 AM
Hi everyone, I'm please to introduce my new website listing various Cryptocurrency slots, you can browse the games by categories like: slots with free spins, bonus games, jackpots slots etc. with currently promoting games and 9 Cryptocurrencies incl. live prices for each currency & Bitcoin Slots.

I hope it helps casino players and all users find the right slots games and currency to play with, you can also play most games in free modus.

Bitcoin slots, ethereum slots, litecoin slots with bonus games

https://bitcoinslots.online

Remember to only play with coins you can afford to loose.

Suggestions for improvement are welcome.
The website is lacking a lot of elements like register/login that is supposed to be seen when to open the website the design was not yet catchy and also just a plain design, in my opinion, look like a normal casino website. Some of the website's assets came from other creators. I think the website needs just to adjust a lot of elements and improved some of the images. I think the website just means browsing gambling games but still, you cannot trust websites that have an unprofessional design. I could make a website that is better than this in just a week.

Hello everyone,
How would you like an application that makes you earn with creating good quality content such as writing articles, creating fun memes?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Yes, since a lot of platforms like this just stopped accepting Bitcoin or offering Bitcoin as a payment option. Example I can think of now is

Fiverr.com where freelance services were offered and Bitcoin was used as a payment option. I can still remember paying someone with bitcoins

on there to create advertising material for a project I developed a few years ago. The more platforms like this, the better for Bitcoin as a whole.

What kind of freelance services were you thinking of?
I think social media is just a great platform to use since a lot of users almost have its own social media account it is a good idea to use as a platform to advertise blockchain, ICO, and even bitcoin. Also advertising this cryptocurrency could be paid in forums like here in bitcointalk we could join the signature campaign and get paid to advertise a token or certain website. I think applications like website article like WordPress is a very good site in creating content, especially in cryptocurrency. There are also many free websites that we could use to create great contents in the internet even facebook, twitter and Instagram could be used.
3195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the adoption of China affects the crypto market and blockchain industry on: November 04, 2019, 03:41:13 PM
A week ago, President Xi of China has urged the Chinese to seize opportunities in the crypto market and blockchain industry. The announcement caught the market by surprise and drive the price of Bitcoin up until $10, 000. I personally believe that with the participation of Chinese, it is undoubtedly that the adoption rate would be greatly increased. But, wouldn't it subject the Chinese projects to be under the influence of Communist Party of China? What are your thoughts on this one?

They mention blockchain but not Bitcoin. This is not "adoption", you can make plenty of garbage projects using "a blockchain".

If they make a State backed central fiat like cryptocoin, it won't make any difference to Yuans. Its perhaps worse than those. Its actually a disturbing trend, the complete opposite to Bitcoin's freedom.

Hopefully, when "studying the subject" some more people will inevitable learn about Bitcoin and the freedom it grants, so it may indirectly subvert a bit the state oppression, if only the people learn there is this money out there controlled by no one...

Just imagine the day the money and State become separate, but not controlled by 4 banks as in Hong Kong...
In the past year the bitcoin community is getting bigger and bigger and bitcoin become popular a lot of companies in China already have a lot of interest in bitcoin and as we know a lot of mining company is from china in my opinion china did see the potential of bitcoin in their society because of the bitcoin technology that is very futuristic. China is always adopting and innovative when it comes to their technology and also there were very sensitive to their security and the security of their society they are very careful about this matter and they want to control cryptocurrency when it comes to their country.

3197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A rising number of Americans own crypto and nearly 13 million women says study.. on: November 04, 2019, 01:14:23 PM

Americans who own a cryptocurrency has almost doubled from 7.95% in 2018 to 14.4% in 2019, an increase of 81% in one year,
according to a new survey. That means roughly 36.5 million Americans own some form of crypto.
https://www.finder.com/how-many-people-own-cryptocurrency

In addition, the survey by Finder said,
Quote
While an increase of people with a cryptocurrency is positive for the industry,
the vast majority of Americans are not investing in digital currencies.

Since US regulations make it more difficult for citizens to participate in crypto investments the growth shows an underlying interest.
If regulations loosen up in the coming year this could spur growth for the global crypto market.

What do you think?

I think the Americans is already adjusting in the bitcoin technology, we know that the bitcoin technology is already getting popular in the past years and a lot of country was already recognized it and make it as one of their assets. The country japan already started using it as a money and you could pay using bitcoin in a store in Japan. The Americans, in my opinion, is starting to use bitcoin as the bitcoin community was already starting to adjust in the technology for sure the bitcoin community will continue to get big. Male American in my opinions are more on a business-oriented person and as soon as money is a concern they will be interested in a good investment like bitcoin.

I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now Embarrassed
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...
I think the best way to earn altcoin was by joining the signature campaign in ICO if you join the signature campaign you could easily get a reward for posting or if you join different campaigns the reward would be altcoins. But if you need a free altcoin I only way I know was joining an airdrop you just literary need to share or like something and then you could get an altcoin reward. But since airdrop was just a free token a lot of airdrops token was just don't have a good price in the market and also sometimes it was just a dead coin in the market that came from ICO's. But still, it has the potential to increase its price in the market it the ICO team was just good at maintaining the token.

in my opinion the bitcoin was so famous but at the time the bitcoin was made and started to launch in the last 10 years so in my opinion when bitcoin become famous the china i think the chinese government become interested in bitcoin because it has a great technology and china see it as a good asset. So i think a lot of companies in china become interested in it.

I wonder why people still post things like this even though it's definitely not legit. I don't think someone will play this game plus the site is poorly constructed and no other information shown in there so it's likely to be a ponzi scheme type of site just mentioned earlier.
Yeah true just looking at the website you could already tell that this is a not legit website. The website doesn't even have an account system that is connected to the software are they we're inviting users to participate with an initial cost of 0.002 ETH which is completely crazy. Yet they are assuring users using a etherscan source code in the etherscan website. Probably you would just end up losing the game the algorithms in a lottery game could easily be manipulated, I'm a programmer myself and I could easily do this is a probability winning game.
