3181  Economy / Lending / Re: Can a wallet with vested tokens be used as collateral? on: January 01, 2021, 08:43:00 PM
Thanks man, I did actually try before you replied and got denied - that all rhymed...

Anyway yeah, makes sense since I would still have access to the private keys, so wouldn't really work as collateral.
You actually transfer the tokens (collateral) to the lender's address before receiving the loan, not the private keys. So ti wouldn't be possible since your tokens are locked for a certain period.
3182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC Dominance 70.4% in CoinMarketCap. Do I need to exchange BTC to ETH? on: January 01, 2021, 05:49:12 PM
It all depends on how the market moves because, should Bitcoin price try to correct, all those altcoin prices will also drop quick. Right now they are just following how Bitcoin price moves, and it's hard to predict what happens next,
By the mere fact that Bitcoin dominance is 70% should be a good indicator to show that alts are not doing well during this bull run and that includes ETH. Back in 2017-2018, this was not the case, BTC dominance was down to around 40-30% if I recall very well.
3183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NEW Abbreviation on: January 01, 2021, 05:43:57 PM
What's the difference between the New All-Time High and the All-time HighGrin
I see no difference, It's all the same mate, so why complicate things when we can still call the new highest price the All-Time High (ATH) price?
3184  Economy / Reputation / Re: Be careful with this account on: January 01, 2021, 05:30:35 PM
What happened? I don't really understand your case, whether with the PYD token payment or did you sell AME tokens on telegram to someone?
I think OP was trying to perform an exchange with the scam. Probably exchanging AME tokens for ETH or BTC but once he sent the tokens, the other party didn't honor the deal and blocked him.

This should be more than enough to even the alts tagged since the person is a scammer
3185  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Prominerz on: December 31, 2020, 07:52:02 PM
i wanted to order there too. is there any news?
Be careful dealing with them or if you feel you can't wait, then send them money you can afford to lose. Personally I wouldn't bother using their service. I would look for a much more trusted mining gear seller/reseller.
3186  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: InstaWallet Recovery/Claim - Please Help on: December 30, 2020, 09:31:32 PM
There is still a chance that you could recover your money if you provide proof though it has been a longtime since the deadline.
@Boussac was last online on 1st December, about a month ago so there's a chance that he will be back.

This is what he said to someone with a similar problem in May this year
Please bear in mind that this was an experimental no-login, no-fee wallet, not a paying service.
Users are welcome to reach out if they can prove they were actual user by providing all the details in their posession.
I do not respond to unsubstantiated claim because they are too easily made up and I don't have time for that anymore after 7+ years.

Try sending him a PM

3187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone please explain why my bitcoin balance keeps moving on coinbase pro? on: December 30, 2020, 08:55:46 PM
Have you traded any other assets on coinbase pro before apart from BTC. The changes in the amount of BTC could be due to the changes in the prices of the balances of those small assets which are usually calculated in BTC.
I have seen this kind of thing happen to my accounts in other exchanges such as Binance.
3188  Other / Archival / Re: Change user name? on: December 30, 2020, 06:28:29 PM
The quickest and easiest way is to just delete all the posts made by this account, abandon it and create a new account. No one will care about a newbie account with zero posts even in your case.
3189  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Cloud mining scam - globalmining.io on: December 28, 2020, 09:45:23 PM
Absolute scam.

I don't know any cloud mining platform current where customers have genuinely made returns. Most are just ponzi scheme disguised as Cloud mining platforms.
Globalmining looks exactly like e-mine.co which is now offline

3190  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinswitch and it's owner Ashish Singhal is a Scam stay away on: December 27, 2020, 09:47:35 PM
Edit:  What is it with Imgur?  They changed their entire format, and I'm having trouble displaying that image, which is located here: https://imgur.com/a/jNoG85z
It's because the link you used is to the full album of photos

If you want a link to that single image, right click on it then select "copy image address" you will get this link which you can use here

Sorry about not getting paid for the hard work you did. Given the warning that have been created about them, i suggest you never ever think about working for them. They have so many unresolved issues from complainants which would suggest that they are now scammers.

Look at their latest reviews on trustpilot: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/coinswitch.co
3192  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is there someone who can investigate about this account? This person is very ing on: December 27, 2020, 08:31:26 PM
Judging from the posting time intervals in the bounty threads. I don't think Walangkopo and Perind profiles are owned by one person. You can clearly see than Perind just copies and pastes a bounty application made by Walangkopo several days back which either means that lazy Perind was trying to cheat bu copying other participant's application, or he was trying to frame Walangkopo
3193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 27, 2020, 08:17:56 PM
According to some news, Real Madrid are targeting Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden. He hasn't had much playing time so far and Real Madrid hope that they could exploit the situation and sign him. I think Foden is a very talented and promising player and he can prove himself better at Real Madrid.
Much as I would love to see him at Real Madrid, the pressure he might be subjected to at Real Madrid might not help him develop into a great player. Look at Isco, Jr Vinicius, Jovic etc
I don't think he would also get enough play time in there, he's better off going to a mid table EPL or La Liga team or any top team in French League or Seria A if he's to develop his talent.
3194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 26, 2020, 09:59:08 PM
It seems that we have finally learned the secret of Real's recovery and better results in the last few games  Grin
According to this article in Marca, https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2020/12/26/5fe71a6346163f85808b45dc.html the secret seems to be that Zidane started listening to the advice of his main players, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, Karim Benzema and Casemiro.
At another club it would be the beginning of chaos but at Real it seems to be working right now.
Except for Casemiro, the other 3 are senior plays who have spent a great deal of years at the club and gone through different coaches, so it would be understandable to chip in their pieces of advice to the coach though I have doubts Zidane will stay longer at Real Madrid. He's not being given what he wants especially the players he wants to sign like Pogba.
3195  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Prominerz on: December 26, 2020, 09:50:14 PM
Any news ? It seems legit to me
What other news do you want to know about prominerz? Just read through the thread and know what kind of service they are. Basing on what happen. I would not trust them with any money and would instead look for a much more trustworthy alternative
3196  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] NakerDao Plagiarized Whitepaper on: December 26, 2020, 09:36:26 PM
The name alone is "plagiarized" from MakerDao  Grin The just replaced the M with N,
What kind of scammers are these? They aren't even creative at all.

Vindax is a shit and scam exchange. They have a habit of faking trading volume and listing scam ICOs/IEOs

and they said January 2021 will be listed on Binance I think this is not sure will be listed there soon.
It's a lie. One of the terms and conditions before a project gets listed on Binance is never to announce that they are getting listed there before hand.
3197  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Omniunit ponzi scheme! on: December 26, 2020, 09:13:53 PM
I see that you have no idea how the legal system functions in the United Kingdom. Why do you think the Supreme Court has jurisdiction over your case?  Smiley
Scammers will always cling onto anything to scare or convince accusers and potential victims into believing that they are legitimate but little do they know that we can't easily be fooled here
3198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hedera Hashgraph is ten times better than Ethereum on: December 25, 2020, 08:21:18 PM
Yeah, I think Hashgraph holds a future indeed. Scalability and low transaction fees are something I praise Hashgraph for. I knew this project from its private sale but due to not holding accredited investor status, I couldn't get that and I stopped following this one. But looking at the current price, I think it can be proved as a hidden gem.
Every platform boosts of low transaction fees and scalability when the transaction going through the network are still very low until it's gets flooded with transactions over a period of time, Look at Ethereum when it was introduced. The purpose was to overcome Bitcoin's transaction fees and scalability issues but look where we are. Sometimes ETH fees and even way higher than Bitcoin's.
3199  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.005BTC urgent on: December 25, 2020, 07:53:32 PM
Hi,

I need  0.005 BTC urgently. I have  open order (worth $310) on Binance futures 3x long on (isolated margin) xrp @0.318  currently it went down. so i will use this fund to add more liquidity on my existing order to prevent liquidation.
If this is what you do, I mean borrow money for margin trading then you are in for a very huge trap. Always avoid using money you can not afford to lose, even worse using borrowed money
3200  Other / Meta / Re: Spam all over the forum on: December 24, 2020, 09:59:19 PM
The spammer even not posting any link in their post; just some crap texts which I haven't found a reason for posting. Can someone point me what's going on?
The links are actually there, but they are hidden from direct viewing by inserting them under a letter, a punctuation mark or under other bounty report links. Unless you hover over the letter or punctuation mark. You won't notice it.
