The price could still easily reach 100k. But at that point you wouldnt have to buy each coin at that price. For its continued sucess a system to buy at mBTC or uBTC would be implemented. And you would still be able to sell full coins. Should BTC ever hit that high it would be (idealy) accepted by just about every company in the world. New markets would open and even fortune 500 companies would buy them.

See the thing is that early investors would have 100's of BTC. Now the limits would be something like 1mbtc per day. It would take years to sell all your BTCs.

I'm looking forward to taking a better look at this site once I get home and have my wallet address and the like handy.  I've yet to get any manner of coin of any amount into a wallet yet, so the potential to earn a few fractions of a coin for free is intriguing while I await the parts needed for me to set up in earnest.

Great, tell me what do you think Smiley

Why not have more than just a faucet rotator. Why not have a little homepage with a faucet or something?

I was thinking about it and now I finally have some time to do it!

Great! Let me know if you need any HTML/CSS/PHP help...

Just a small update, we also now accept novacoin.

Congrats. Do you setup a daemon for each coin or is there some service you use?
3188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Hangout on: December 01, 2013, 05:03:28 AM
Thats a pretty steep estimate, $100,000:)

But it will never happen...

We now have our sales thread up:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=353923.0

Wow your site is beautiful! Anyways, I recommend you use this https://github.com/hostvpn/whmcs-coinbase-bitcoin which uses the coinbase API. I prefer coinbase over blockchain this situation since they pay the fees for transactions over 0.001 (save money on refunds and what not). Also coinbase to coinbase transactions are instant so anyone who has a coinbase account can send BTC and you will receive it instantly speeding up the process.

EDIT: I meant your Images are beautiful. Your site isnt as good Sad.

I'll certainly look into this module. Right now, actually. Well, after I type this post.

And yeah, I'm not too fond of the way our site looks. We had it made for pretty cheap when we first started and I like the general scheme of it but it desperately needs to be brought up to modern standards in terms of design. I'm having a guy look at it and do some mockups tomorrow, actually, but I'm not too sure of his capabilities. There's a lot of things I'd like to do with the site but I don't do design or frontend. I'm not very creative so I never got into that field. After I get it brought up to speed, I'll be hunting down some SEO guru to poke around and make suggestions and tell us what to do. I'm certain he'll tell me to add microformatting which I'll eventually hire someone to do.

Not sure how far down the road that is, though. We have a lot of things we want to do that we feel is a lot more important at this stage, such as phasing out some of our higher priced VPSes and introducing new ones that will be much cheaper, but that requires more money. We're still quite new and don't have the funds saved up to do everything we want to do.

Well I recommend you find someone who knows how to use bootstrap. Its extremely flexible! This is what I was able to customize it to do.

There is much more to this, but im not comfortable giving it out since its not complete/its a secret Cheesy!

And to you I would like to recommend ShareX: https://code.google.com/p/sharex/

It's an amazing screenshot sharing tool that allows uploading to many different sites including custom FTP and imgur. It also does a lot more than just screenshots, though that's all I use it for. Sorry, I realize that's a bit off topic.

As for your recommendation for someone who knows how to use bootstrap: of course. I'm looking to hire someone that has experience with many different frameworks. One day soon I may just suck it up and figure out HTML/CSS/JS myself. I already know a little of each -- I just have no mind for design.

Same. Not really that creative.

As for ShareX, I use ubuntu!

Debian master race.

Grin Im learning ruby on rails. I have tried on windows and couldnt get it working. Then on Mac I couldnt get it updated so I finally tried on ubuntu and everything works. Now I have Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OSX Lion (on a separate laptop), and Ubuntu.

Not to criticize (fuck knows I'm in no position to do such) but you should have just kept at it until you got it working. Tongue

Hahaha, I have spent hours at each OS. Im fine with Ubuntu and its secure. My current project is that I have spent around 36 hours (accumulative) trying to get a rails server working...
3191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2.5K to spend, is buying 65nm 50Gh/s obsolete? on: December 01, 2013, 03:39:24 AM
That said, if you're going to purchase BFL hardware from ebay, or from who has in-hand, I guess the risk is similar to just another ebay purchase or dealing with a stranger. When I said BFL, I mean (pre-)ordering from them directly on their website

Ya, make sure you go through ebay. Dont make a side transaction with bitcoin or something. Use a cc and make sure you have ebay buyer protection. That way you are 100% safe. If you are doing a deal with another forum member, make sure you use escrow.

I tried this for a bit, but then I got some ppl abusing it, by making 30 different IP, and claiming it.
And repeating every day. You can't really tell, which is which, but there was 30 same address on 30 different accounts.
The thing is, its easy for him or someone to make tons of different addresses and accounts, just for the freebie.

One ruins it for the rest.

If you post for 16 days at 1/8 mBTC that gets you to 2 mBTC, at $1200 a BTC so not that bad.

I assume so. I just want to add that you should make the first time reward 2 mbtc and then the daily 0.1 mbtc...

Stupid hackers ruining it for all. Why not have some activity requirement like 30, which takes a few hours to reach, each. If it is a spam account then mods would delete it.

Its still there.

This thread has to remove it as Global-bear doesn't accept giveaway threads anymore in the gambling section.
Even though it was there for months, he feels today is the day he takes charge, and removes all giveaways because he can!

So just to confirm, instead of 777Coin running 2 giveaways now, there is only one and it is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=254871?

I'm glad you asked! We sell VPSes and dedicated servers as well as DDOS protected reverse proxies!

I spent hours searching for a VPS host today that offers AMD Firepro GPUs.  Nvidia seems to dominate the market and they stink for mining.  Hint Hint.

Your talking about a dedicated server right?

The only thing I needed were some shoes and clothes Cheesy. Wish I could have bought that with BTC.

There are some clothing companies on Shopify, where you can now pay in Bitcoin Cool http://www.shopify.com/blog/10480345-75-places-to-spend-your-bitcoins

Haha, dont really need cat t-shirts Cheesy. Maybe next Black Friday.
