good idea than other coin .
like this way ,also this way can make nas to pop!
You make me laughing ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) - Thank you for the joke NAS could have any chance to stay on coinmarketcap for longer time! @TwinWinnerD Whats about the accusations in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=570366.0You lost no word about it thus I'm sure you know something about the insane huge devs-stakes ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I said enough about it in this thread . It is always the same arguments, with NXT, with BTC with NAS... It will be like this with every coin. With every fiat. It is just tiredsome... What exactely can I change about that? Should I hack into all stakeholders accounts and send NAS to the giveaway?? If they don't cooperate, I can't do anything.

If the distribution is the biggest attack point of a coin, then I think this coin is doing just fine Look at fiat currencies, about 90% are owned by top banks and national banks! 90% of btc are owned by <1% of BTC holders.

This coin is no simple clone. We have implemented the wesleyh client before NXT did it, and there were several changes in the source. Also the dev will release a windows .exe client with chat and decentralised dice game!
Can you summarise the changes in the source? I can see: - A new genesis block - Some features that were launched whilst Nxt was live, and so were enabled at some certain block number in Nxt, are enabled from the first NAS block (no need to wait for block 22000 for aliases, for instance); also start TF early to get around Nxt injected flaw - Amounts are stored as longs instead of ints (required, as NAS has more coins than an int allows) * - Changes to TCP port numbers - Change all references to "NXT" to be "NAS" - A nice message thanking the Nxt community for their efforts - If no well known peers are configured, default to hardcoded nascoin.no-ip.biz rather than pick up random addresses from (presumably there's no nxtcrypto.org / nxtbase.com / mynxt.info available to pick them up from) All of those (except the nice message) are basically the minimum required to be a clone? EDIT: I don't think there's anything wrong with it being a clone. A clone is fine. Hey, I am not programmer, I just talked to a guy that looked at the source. But yes it sounds like it is very similar. Lets wait for the new client with new features then ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) But atleast the clone was done right, not like other crapcoins that died within days! I think this dev is very powerful programmer!

Hello, Bitfinex provides lot of functionality, but there are few things i'm not sure I understand. what exactly these order types mean? (Limit, Market, Stop, Trailing stop, Fill or Kill) where can I read more on these, any guides? or can someone explain? also if you guys could recommend good modern book on trading I'd be very happy ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Regards There you go: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_%28exchange%29But I don't wanna be a party-pooper --> If you don't know the basics, you will get killed on trading with professionals. Bitfinex is providing services to professional forex/stock traders and they know exactely what they do. If you try to have an edge trading against them, you will have a bad time. (Sorry)

If NAS provides no other features than provided by NXT, whats the need for it if NXT is already there? NAS should try to do some differentiation if it has to be a success
This coin will have a .exe windows client, that will have a chat and a decentralised dice game!

There's no solid evidence that PoS is the way to go. PoS has been out for ages and NxT & Peercoin never dethrone LTC.
You are always stating things, but why don't you do some research. There are very good whitepapers out there. For example Peercoins POS had major flaws with the fact that it is free to forge on EVERY fork possible. So whenever a fork is happening, just run multiple instances of the client and try to forge blocks on every chain. This is not a behaviour you want in your algorythm. NXT tried/tries to fix that, but it isn't implemented yes: Transparent forging. Bitshares now released a whitepaper on exactaly this topic: http://107.170.30.182/security/delegated-proof-of-stake.php They call it delegated Proof of stake. But it is essentially transparent forging. And I am curious who will be first to implement it. So there is good proof our there that POS is secure and doesn't have any big flaws. (if implemented correctly) What you are most likely reffering to is, what is more successful with users... But users give a shit, miners do, but they will die out soon enough I bet.

Welcome to NAS - the greedy shitcoin 2.0
Don't believe my words - read this before you decide to invest in such a greedy coin which is only worthwhile for early investors and dev and not for you !! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=570366.0Simple copycat-clons like this shit are the reasons for the falling BTC and for other famous alt coins like NXT or NEM! Thank me later for saving your money ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) This coin is no simple clone. Hi guys,
Thanks for the Free NAS.
I had installed NAS locally and then transferred the coins to the web wallet.
I see this warning there: Warning!: Your account does not have a public key! This means it's not as protected as other accounts. You must make an outgoing transaction to fix this issue. (send a message, buy an alias, send Nas, ...)
I attempted doing all 3 options listed but I get an error about server side bytes.
Any ideas?
Btw, what does "forging" means?
I would stick to the local client! Just buy an alias with the new client. Localhost:7876 This will work!

Yup. ok.
btw..are there any options trading platforms out there at all?
not that i know of. icbit.se and mpex.co have futures and mpex had options but now they dont have any market makers anymore, so there is that. mpex is such a shitty website. who trades there anyways? when you say there are no more market makers, is it because they left or is it because mpex does not support them anymore? There was too little liquidity for the existing market makers to keep bids/asks up. So they stopped and mpex closed the section. It is actually one of the most solid platforms, not with the design, but with the security and everything. The owner and his team are kinda big douches though. They are pretty happy if someone gets scammed. But they seem to be very honest. What do they do right to make it solid platform with security and all? they charge 30 btc to even have an account! wtf! i wonder why would someone pay that kind of money really? The fee is from another period of BTC price, but that doesn't matter. Basically, you can only submit orders by signing them with you PGP key. So aslong as your key is safe you can't be hacked. And if you are smart your key never leaves your offline PC. ALso there is/was no site that had similar volumes in derivatives trading like they did. But personally I don't use them either. You need to be a whale for it to make sence.

so is this web wallet (via java) only, or is a local install wallet coming soon? and do you have to keep the java window open every time you open the wallet in your browser?
For now we only have the Java server + browser wallet. But the dev is currently developing the windows client that is just a .exe that you need to start. It will be a standalone client. Yes if you want to access your account , or forge , then you need to let the server run. You could also use the webwallet of the nascoin.org but it is not yet with SSL so I wouldn't advise using it!
