3181  Economy / Speculation / Re: On May 12, BTC was at $12M (sell order) to reach a value of 0$ on: April 10, 2020, 05:59:22 AM
come on man.. prove I am wrong

come on man ... prove anything you are saying first.
Friend in bitfinex... ha ha
Pump 50% during 2 months only because of 50M. spoof orders? ha ha

That's $140 M 5 min candle on binance futures - currently the biggest futures exchange.

Jail because of that?

5 global banks fined $3.4B for attempted market manipulation
Six banks fined $5.6bn over rigging of foreign exchange markets
Citigroup Hit Hardest as EU Fines Banks $1.2 Billion Over FX
Deutsche Bank to pay $60 million to settle U.S. gold price-fixing case
It took me only 3 min to collect that. Just put "bank manipulation forex gold" in google.
Huge banks are constantly manipulating market. No one is going to jail. They are being charged hundreds million $ for that, they accept it and continue to manipulate because they are earning dozens times more from that.

pumping hard  BTC with FAKE money..

Any proof? That this particular 1.5 bil$ print was all fake?
Even so, this was printed on 31 march - after recovery from 3800 to 6700!

And guess what. Binance futures and Bitmex (two biggest exchanges that trades bTC futures) does not use tether.

I can go and undermine every of your word.

Just like this one:
There is circuit breaker in US stock markets, and it sucks, yeah.. but let me know any single stock from US NYSE that would drop to 0 if you sell $12.5M at market price.

Would you like to buy BTC at 1-1000$? Was your buy order there? At 1$ 10$ 100$ 1000$? No because you would never expect flash crash to go this deep - and it didn't. Who would lock his money for months in hope to see flash crash going that low? No one. In regulated market you have circuit breaker that locks market and gives you time to put your order. There was no time for that that day and even if it would happened (BTC hit 0$ on single exchange - bitmex- due to flash-crash) than what? BTC was worth 0 for millisecond on single exchange. And what? It's still 7000$ now.

And edit your post. 3 SS of tether chart is not necessary. Especcialy that big. Add width=500 - [.img width=500]xxx[/img.]
3182  Economy / Speculation / Re: On May 12, BTC was at $12M (sell order) to reach a value of 0$ on: April 09, 2020, 03:00:31 PM
ALMOST "reach a value of 0$" for a millisecond on a single exchange that crashed during massive spam of trades. So what? Does that change anything for you how low flash-crash went? It's only flash crash. Currently, SP500 is -17% from before covid panic sell - btc is -25%!
SP500 is a index of 500 biggest US stocks, was prevented from drops by circuit breakouts (at least 20), helped by helicopter money. BTC was on his own.

link
"Traditional markets are in circuit breaker mode the majority of time;. They only trade occasionally." - BTC was exposed to panic sell for much longer.

But lets also compare average volatility. According to that BTC reacted more calmly to panic sell than most assets. Especially stocks.

Safe-haven saves you during economic crisis. Nothing saves you during market crash. Especially during whole world, all assets massive panic sell caused by pandemic.
Economic crisis is not equal market crash.
Flash-crash is only a flash-crash. Does not mean anything.

3183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: April 09, 2020, 07:54:16 AM
This is not true. And you know it.
Many users have 2 nodes in 2 virtual machines on the same PC. And there are those who have 3 nodes.
Therefore, really unique people, well, maybe 600.
Not a great achievement for a coin which is 2 years old.

You are wrong. 95-98% of idena nodes are unique person. Those 2-5% did not yet realised that it is more profitable to have 1 node with 98% score than 2 nodes with 80% and no invitations (thanks to update with human status and 2 invitation per human and 6 flips per short session) - soon they will. People claim that they have 2 nodes only because they have friends/family member that validates second node. Just like my wife just become human during last validation. But it's still 1 person 1 vote. Just like during elections. You can write an authorization that someone else can represent you. Like i manage a node of my wife that she validates.

3. Official coin Administrator (maybe one of the Dev team) urge to kill invitations from those people who make bad flips (bad in their opinion).
....
And nothing has changed. All of these points still indicate that the actions of developers (and 101% Admin) contradict decentralization.
In centralized network Admin will go and kill nodes by himself. He would not need to convince others. This is decentralized network. Dev's gives us tools and SUGGEST what to do with them. We ... unique nodes decide what to do with them. Majority of the nodes decides what's profitable or not and what's good or not for network.
They only gives us tools. We use them or not. 100% decentralized network.

This huge amount of traffic from this coin...
10-15 gigabytes per day easily!
If you have a weak router - you need vps.
If you do not have unlimited traffic - you need vps.
If you have a weak provider - you need vps.
Still the lowest entry point for mining crypto world has even seen.

But numbering can be smart.
You can number flips with emoticons, figures, lines, dots, the number of angles of a star, and anything else. Turn on fantasy.
But not just the numbers printed on the picture, which can be recognized by bots.

But it still makes no sense.
AI is the future. AI-resistant - not.

Numbered flips, no matter if "figures, lines, dots" is dozens times easier for AI to solve. If you do a network that is easy for AI to cheat than you are simply doing POW. It's POP.

This might work out. Different cultures takes it to different understanding and different creation, there are so many differences between how we see stuffs arround us.

And as you said earlier, no censorship, stop sending the idea to any newbie coming that he needs to take invite only from dev bc his identity will be killed. Or how they did after this epoch, cutted 200 verified members out of their rights to invite. But ofc older shillers here, they won't care. They care only to shill everything the dev is saying

This makes completely no sense. How you imagine Proof of Person blockchain without test who is human who is bot? Bitcoin has POW algorithm to prevent from cheating the network, NEO has POS, idena has POP that is ... as Vitalik said... "proof-of-unique-human is going to be a very valuable primitive for applications in the years to come." and we are here developing it and being first adopters of something massive. Bunch of trolling accounts will not change it.

All of your (troll spam farm) suggestions would kill network in a matter of 1 validation. It's like - lets turn off mining difficulty for bitcoin - everyone should have right to mine it with old PC.
3184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: April 08, 2020, 10:32:24 AM
Yes. I agree that 7100 is a key support here ... but i would not underestimate 7250 that seems to be important test in Wyckoff formation. What do you think Globb0?

3185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: April 07, 2020, 01:44:11 PM
That's all what you can say ?
It's 101% decentralized just because you said it ? Without any proves ?
1300 uniqe nodes with equal right to vote and equal power of vote. Name more decentralized coin. Bitcoin's 4 biggest pools has 50% of network hashrate - 50% of votes. Idena is 160 times more decentralized than bitcoin is.

Is it lie ? No.
Especially point 3, where you, as a schoolboy, with CAPS LOCK and "!!!" scream about "killing" users ))
101% decentralized...
Is it lie? YES. Reb0rn is not dev. Its telegram admin that write his own opinion. You know why? Because this project is decentralized. Everyone is doing what's the best for network in his opinion and is free to convince others to do the same. If its shitty suggestion (like numbering flips) than none will fallow. If it's killing toxic members than some nodes might fallow. Why convincing others? Because this is decentralized network and 1 person ... no matter how rich (POS) or how much earth supply he is able to burn on guessing random number (POW) ... is not able to change/harm it.

Even Bitcoin created in 2009 doesn't needs this protection...
Quote
Sybil attacks are avoided in Bitcoin by requiring block generation ability to be proportional to computational power available through the proof-of-work mechanism. That way, an adversary is limited in how many blocks they can produce. This provides strong cryptographic guarantees of Sybil resilience.

Bitcoin's sybil attack protection is called Proof of Work - who waste more energy wins. Idena sybil attack protection is called Proof of Person - every person has equal vote.

3186  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Listing your token on a cryptocurrency exchange on: April 07, 2020, 08:43:30 AM
None of "satisfied clients" was ever listed on Binance. I don't know why OP have their logo in supported exchange graphic than.
I'll try to contact some of those "satisfied clients".
3187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: April 07, 2020, 07:23:52 AM
That daily close bit is the confirmation for me, Im often looking at the hourly but in the context of the daily. Daily will confirm if trend broke or held.

If it works for you and you are actually earning using that than go for it Smiley I never profit using this formation -it always fake me and go opposite direction. If you do earn than I'm not the person that should give you tips:)

I think that this trend line puts current price into another, bigger triangle. Breaking through both may push price very fast.

Cheers
3188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: April 06, 2020, 06:37:57 PM
Is that not the point of waiting for a 1d candle to close to confirm things?
It works for you? Candle close at random time. Different time on every exchange. There is a chance that you will have perfect buy signal on binance when candle close at 00:00 and perfect sell signal on kraken when candle close at 4:00 (just example). Its not stocks - end of candle is end of day session with fixing (CLOSING AUCTION - last 5-30 min depending on country) where lots of volume is added after it with fixed auctioned price.

In my opinion end of candle does not matter in crypto.
3189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Reason Binance Delisted FTX Leveraged Tokens on: April 06, 2020, 04:55:28 PM
There was so much hate. I've seen people attacking CZ under every tweet calling him scammer because of those FTX tokens. That's why they had to desist them. Later CZ said that it is not their job to educate traders, that FTX tokens ware the most traded tokens, delisting them was very hard decision but reputation and trust is more important than money. Majority of FTX tokens traders was not ready for such hard to understand asset.

Just see this:

initial investment 1000$
first day -20% and you have 800$
next day +25% and you have your 1000$ back

same situation but with FTX token
initial investment 1000$
first day -20% (x3 = 60%) and you have 400$
next day +25% (x3 = 75%) and you have 700$ -how is it possible that you are -300$ when price of base asset is where it was during your investment? Well that's how it works. It is not an asset to hold and not an asset for beginners - definitely not for those who does not see difference between them and margin - definitely not for average crypto trader.
3190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: April 06, 2020, 03:18:25 PM
Such triangles very often break out in fake direction and return with huge strength. That's why i don't like to trade based on this formation.

We need to remember that BTC looks very bullish fundamentally.
1- 1.5 bilion newly printed tethers (+30% supply)
2- halving around the corner
3- helicopter of fiat money - unlimited QE
3191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any stock trading platform that pays out in Bitcoin? on: April 06, 2020, 07:10:40 AM
I am looking for something similar to ETH/USD on Bitmex that pays out in BTC. Thanks!

There are ALTcoins/BTC trading pairs on almost every crypto exchange, you can trade on those pairs to use your bitcoins to earn more bitcoins.

Hi I don't have dollars and I don't want dollars but I want to start trading stocks.

Here I'm confused. You need something similar to ETH/USD or you want to trade stocks? If stocks than there is currently no such thing that has established position - trust, good volume = low spreads.

If you want to trade stocks without selling BTC you can:
1- open trading account in your bank or any other broker that allows to trade stocks
2- loan USD and use BTC as collateral - you can use https://www.binance.com/en/loan to do that - "Annual Interest Rate 9.06%"
3- Use USD to trade stocks and convert profit into BTC.
3192  Economy / Speculation / Re: How does price action really works? Traders are predicts? on: April 06, 2020, 05:41:49 AM
I think that this thread is worth being mentioned here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4420866.msg39412664#msg39412664

You need to know that TA indicators were invented when average trader was not algo bot/AI bot. To earn on market you need to be better than others. You will not be better than algo bot doing the same as it does (f.e. Fibonacci) but much slower.

AI bots turns TA upside down. The more money stay behind them the less OP post is true (shop stuff etc.) and less effective TA is. It may appear that after next 5 years market will start to do opposite to TA because that will be more profitable to AI bots (why compete with algo bots to earn on non-TA emotional traders if you can switch site and earn on algo-bots that are predictable - price will do what bigger whale want)

I see trading more like a "whale hunting". When i see that, based on TA, price should dump but it doesn't I know that whale use huge TA lovers and algo bots demand to fill bags.
3193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Selling invites is still a thing? on: April 05, 2020, 10:30:35 AM
snip

You can use it (f.e transfer of value - like bitcoin) without validation. Just like any other coin. Transfers are fast and cheap. But if you want to mine you have 3 choices:

1-invest huge amount of money into POS shitcoins for like 5-10% annual roi
2-invest 3000$ in antminer or GPUs
3-spend 20 min once per 11 days to solve flips.

There is no coin that is more miner-friendly. There is no coin that you can mine with such low entry barrier. There is no coin that is more decentralized (1000 uniqe nodes with equal votes validates your transaction)

BTW: https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1246567822974750722 Vitalik is bullish on IDENA.

Looks like roobet.com is growing very fast. Congratulations and fingers crossed for further development.

By the way -> I can't access Roobet.com currently. Are there any issues?
Roobet.com is now big enough that was noticed by my finance ministry in my country and banned (gambling is only legal if you play at companies that pay taxes here - hypocrites). I can now access roobet.com only via VPN.

Z 4.5 mld do 6 mld !
3196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: April 04, 2020, 07:49:54 AM
I have example from my own validation look one identity decided (probably shot randomly) that flip is ok:

Let me paraphrase- "You are wrong with 90% success of system because I can find one extreme case"  just kiddingSmiley

I don't know how this flip (5:5) get "weak consesus" if it's 100% no consensus. It is impossible to shuffle answer better. It's network bug not something that we should base our discussion at.  In most cases it looks like that:

"no consensus" saved this node in 5 times out of 6 (random SS). - I'm taking about 4 out of 4 score (4 good answers and 1 bad flip).

edit: I've checked and this 1 out of 6 that "no consensus" did not saved this node (4 out of 5 score) was in fact his fault. Flip was easy.

I even seen nodes with score 2 good out of 2 (means that he received 3 bad flips and still passed with 100% score)

Weak consensus is when flip has <75% (or 70%) - https://scan.idena.io/flip?flip=bafkreigelddbvctxovmbtznouq4ppmhpjl6xdkdsgpn3rsr7tohg3owwza this one has weak consensus with 2 wrong answers and 4 good.

No consensus flip is a flip with score ~60% like this one https://scan.idena.io/flip?flip=bafkreifo3zjlkgxknk6z6a3u55rbhqfnsec25dohkfx6i5wy5z5q44buz4 5/8 = 62,5% - no consensus
https://scan.idena.io/flip?flip=bafkreialkwcdcrqwcj6xwsxttxycij6hrgsirrl2dwjvawuuz7g5o7shyy - 57%
I don't know why 50% get "weak consensus". In fact there is no way of getting worse score. Report that to Andrew. I'm sure he will address this issue and fix in next node upgrade.

flip got consesnus (week) but 5 from 10 identities 50% made "wrong" answer and didn't got validation point

With weak consensus you are getting 0.5 point even with wrong answer. So you can have 3 good flips and 3 "extreme cases" fail all of them (going random you should pass at least 1) and still get 75%.

another example - last validation story - 3 pictures of tweets and one of Donald Trump - very bad flip but even it was reported by >80% users it still got consensus and some people/identities was harmed....

There is a reason why each flips pass 2 separate test. Consensus and reports.
Reported Flip (f.e wrong keywords) can still be good to check if you are human or not (that's what consensus is for).

where can I try to get an invite?
I've send you my telegram id.

@malevolent

W zeszłym tygodniu news o 3 mln nowych bezrobotnych (najgorszy wynik w historii prowadzenia statystyk, co zrównało bezrobocie z końcem bessy ostatniego krachu!) i wczoraj news o kolejnych 7 mln (2x więcej).

Pompy z 7000 do 10 000 a potem dumpu do 3800 i pompy do 7000.

"W 1823 niewolnictwo zniesiono w Chile, w 1829 w Meksyku. W 1833 Wielka Brytania uchwaliła zniesienie niewolnictwa w imperium brytyjskim. Następnie uczyniła to Francja (1848) i Peru (1854). W Stanach Zjednoczonych nastąpiło to w wyniku wojny secesyjnej (1863 Proklamacja Emancypacji, 1865 13. poprawka do konstytucji)."https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zniesienie_niewolnictwa

Mówimy o 1920 a nie 1860.
