3182  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pilotless Passenger Planes Might Soon Become A Reality. on: April 05, 2015, 07:05:56 PM
I wonder if anybody would more likely flight pilotless plane after the Lufthansa Airbus story.
This sad story doesn't mean we are closer to introducing such planes. It's enough to introduce some safety measures: not allow one of the pilots to stay alone in the cockpit, add a safety mechanism that doesn't allow to override the lock from the inside and make the doctors send all reports to the airline at once.

the Australians already have a solution to that. the Rule of Two, they call it. when one pilot needs to leave the cockpit, a flight attendant will the jump seat (not the control seats).
3183  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auctions - Guidelines and Tips! on: April 05, 2015, 06:43:48 PM
I got a question. say I only have BTC1 on my wallet and bid that exact amount on an auction, is it against the rule to bid another BTC1 while the first auction is still running?
3184  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Senior Member Account on: April 05, 2015, 06:40:08 PM
And April-7-2015 or July-4-2015 ?

I can guess. April-7-2015 but sorry, no everyone here speak English

Thanks !

Time is very very important in a Auction. So, need to be clear.

it's DD-MM-YYYY. short to long.

3186  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can a container ship be the best solution for a bitcoin island construct? on: April 05, 2015, 03:12:04 AM
some part of an island might be hostile, sure. but all part of the ocean can be dangerous to ALL passengers under extreme weather condition.

so I'll pick an island, thank you very much.
3187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to your Bitcoins when you die? on: April 05, 2015, 02:57:40 AM
Me and my bitcoins will never be separated till death do us part.hahaha,

well, the question here is actually "what would happen to your bitcoins when death do you part", not "how long will you hold on to your bitcoins"
3188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this some new kind of scam? on: April 05, 2015, 02:47:41 AM
he is advertising his crowdfunding project. it is similar to btcjam loans except that you don't get your money back.

some of these things are scams though
3189  Other / Meta / Re: Email from Bitcointalk "admin" on: April 05, 2015, 02:28:08 AM
someone probably made a software that allowed them to go through all the forum profiles, filter the ones that dont have emails public then filter those that are inactive and then work from the final list
But according to the victims, the email was sent from admin@bitcointalk.org. The forum maybe attacked (like its downtime few days before). Can the forum improve its security?

lol you should probably do some google. hint: search for "spoof emails".
that doesn't have anything to do with the security of the forum.

Theymos always improved the forum's security whenever he finds a vulnerability.

"Son, could you manage my bitcoin for me after I passing away?"

I don't have kid, but decided to have it soon Grin

be sure not to give your private keys to him too soon.  Tongue or you might come home one day and finds out that there was a big party.  Grin
3191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to your Bitcoins when you die? on: April 05, 2015, 02:05:33 AM
What will happen to your Bitcoins when you die, will they be lost forever?

I feel that this is something that is overlooked by most Bitcoin users.

Do any of you have a system in place to allow loved-ones to access your funds when you pass on? please share the details in this thread.

nope. when I die my bitcoins also goes to the grave.
I had my buddy to hold my private key as a precaution, but he have no interest in bitcoins at the moment.
yeah, I know some people think of that as stupid

3193  Other / Meta / Re: how do I get pictures added on the left side under my username? on: April 05, 2015, 01:48:18 AM
Can anyone explain to me why they were disabled in the first place?
I heard someone tries to hack the forum using avatar...

I understand that from the post above I was looking for more detail about how they did it.

3195  Economy / Auctions / Re: [w.t.s] Senior member account. on: April 04, 2015, 11:42:42 PM
Too low.. Come on...

then don't have such a low starting bid  Grin if the auction ends with a bid of BTC0.1 by someone trusted (and testy) and you refuse to give them the account, you might get a big, red, slaps on your face.
course that's up to you.

I bid BTC0.125
3196  Economy / Auctions / Re: [w.t.s] Senior member account. on: April 04, 2015, 11:20:18 PM
you're missing bid increments. but I guess that's not a problem  Wink

3197  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [w.t.s] Senior member account. on: April 04, 2015, 11:19:09 PM
IMO asking the buyer how much they want to pay is not a good idea..
but I can afford BTC0.1 if you want

Thats why I wrote NSFW. Most "NSFL" things dont seem to bother me, but - again - would bother my boss, which in turn is a problem for me.

well, NSFW are adult content and-

Quote
3) Is other adult content allowed?

Maybe.

If I receive (or anticipate receiving) several complaints about something, it's probably too much.

-I think it's allowed as long as it doesn't draw too much attention.

fun fact  Tongue: you can disable avatars from your profile
