3181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Questions I have about Bitcoin on: May 28, 2020, 08:05:39 PM
All of your opinions are of the utmost importance.

But for me, the current state of bitcoins and entire cryptocurrency has been largely ignored and proposed by Satoshi Nakamoto's promises. Because bitcoin and whole cryptocurrency I would say is not stable at the moment. Because bitcoin is a decentralized type of financier and if it is used in a peer to peer electronic transaction like buying a bottle of soft drinks and a pack of potato chips at a gasoline station is not possible.

Because even I am beginning to doubt the long-term success of bitcoin and cryptocurrency because I can also say that it has not been stable until now. And in my opinion, it can't be used for peer to peer electronic cash and the only bitcoin can do.
Damn, you used a lot of "because" on your sentence.
Anyway, you can never expect bitcoin to have a stable price. Again, you are also wrong when you said crypto currency as a whole at the moment have no stable price. Did you forget about stable coins? They actually do have stable price!
If you are looking for stable price, go use those stable coins. And why isn't it possible to buy your "potato chips" with bitcoin?
3182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PROMOTION TURNS WOE on: May 28, 2020, 08:01:47 PM
Everyone in the cryptocurrency communities know that bounties and airdrops have been part of the major channels through which the ICO/IEO tokens or coins projects are publicized to attract investor with the promise of a portion of the token to be paid to the hunters for their contributions.

Before 2016, bounty activities were not threat to tokens and blockchain projects. The bounty hunters also wanted to cash out huge from a campaigned project as much as the investors. The price bid for a listed tokens on the exchange were always left considerably above the ICO prices and everyone used to be happy.

Fast forward to the ending of 2017 and  early 2018, the music of bounty hunting changed. There were series of hunters mostly from the third world who had no other dreams that just a bread for the day. They just want have something eat able to put  in the mouth. The don't care about the value of the tokens they earned. They just want to sell for any price just to make a meal for the day.

Except the concerned project teams apply many other difficult measures, the dump from the bounty hunters and greedy low buying price bidder can send an ongoing developing project to a journey of no return.

It is time for projects teams look for another viable way to publicize their projects aside bounty and airdrop hunting.
This sounds so ridiculous. If those third world country people you are talking about are so desperate for money, then why would they even choose bounty hunting programs? I mean, don't they have to spend a lot of time over here? Wouldn't they be earning more if they took "any" kind of job? Those bounty program just pays few dollars!
And it would be plain stupid to blame those bounty hunters. I doubt they can cause much change in the price of the tokens by dumping.
3183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 28, 2020, 01:19:39 PM
-snip-
Recently, my friend shared some gambling platform on me, which I think is only operates in our country.
They have this game which is a toss coin, I can say it is legit since they have a monitor that is streaming some live TV channel there which also you can see while playing.
I can say this game is purely 50% probability, HEAD or TAIL only.
The odds are computed based on how much bets on each side per toss.

Now,
What do you think, everyone? Good strategy or technique to use here, like the martingale or double down?
Feel free to share your ideas and advice.
Yeah, it is  50% probability of getting head or tail in a coin toss. You sure they don't have any kind of edge on this game? Like why would a casino run on a 50/50 game of chance? This also means, the casino has the equal chance of getting wiped out, just like their players!
Because they do live casino stream, it doesn't mean that the casino isn't rigged and they aren't cheating. Think about those magic shows. They do "magic" and "impossible stuffs", sometimes live on the TV, yet people can't catch their trick!
3184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: May 27, 2020, 07:19:31 PM
If there is an existing topic or similar topic I will lock this thread please let me know.

Casinos have many perks like free drinks, foods and sometimes room and accommodation and they also offer loan to their old clients
While online gambling casinos you are in the comfort of your home you are relaxed and can play and take time and go back with one click

Where do you play longer hours online casinos or casinos?
My opinion over here is that people would choose to play on online casinos if they decide to stay longer. You are sitting on your home, you have your own food, you can start anytime, no one will give you loans if you lose (yeah, that is a good thing) and the casino operates 24/7. If you get exhausted, you can take a break for a while and instantly start gambling again. In case of physical casino, you get exhausted, you go back home.
3185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do anybody know if there is a Best Crypto Project that Failed? on: May 27, 2020, 07:16:50 PM
How can a project be a "best" project if the project already failed? Makes no sense at all.
Are you trying to say if there was any project with a very good idea but failed? Then yeah, there are tons of such projects out there. They put forward extremely good ideas (so good that they are actually impossible to achieve), take investors money and then runs away.
3186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think shops should accept bitcoin? on: May 27, 2020, 06:49:01 PM
Yes, they should accept bitcoin! I have seen shops where they accept bitcoin and when asked what do they do with the bitcoins, they said that they accept bitcoins from their clients but actually receives fiat currency in return. There are thirdparty companies that will accept Bitcoin on behalf of them and instantly convert them to fiat currency based on the average rates. So I think think so shops would be affected that much due to price volatility.
3187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you believe that bitcoin will have a stable price in the future? on: May 27, 2020, 06:38:56 PM
Do you? I believe yes, after some years, if more people get into bitcoin, the price will stop somewhere and it will change slowly.
I wouldn't say it would be stable. Apply basic economic concept over here. Think about demand and supply. We know the supply of bitcoin is limited to a fixed number, where is the demand is "unlimited" (I am saying unlimited because as long as the population keeps on growing, if bitcoin still prevails, there will be a demand from the new population). Thus, with high demand and low supply, we get higher price. This price will keep on increasing as the demand keeps on rising (since there is no chance of bitcoin supply to be increased). So, in the future we won't be getting a stable price, but more like we will be getting a high price.
3188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 26, 2020, 07:25:15 PM
If people gambles to escape their problems, then I would say that is a huge mistake and they should be seeking professional help.
Gambling isn't the answer to your problems. It is going to make your life more miserable. You should gamble to entertain yourself and enjoy.
Always gamble what you can afford to lose.
If you really want to escape from reality (in a healthy way) a bit, then there are many other ways. Try playing video games.
3189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some Alts for long run investment. on: May 26, 2020, 07:22:40 PM
I would suggest others not to follow those suggestions from a random person on the internet. Never heard of the coins he has mentioned (SOLVED, CPRT and so on).
You should explain at least why they have the potential to be a good altcoin. Sounds more like you are just advertising for those coins.
If anyone does wish to invest on those coins, do your analysis first.
3190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: May 26, 2020, 07:17:24 PM
At present, the market condition of altcoin is not very good, the exchange rate of BTC is getting lower and lower, and many altcoins have been unmaintained. Even if the development team still insists, the price is very miserable! The blow to the entire team is not small, I am afraid it is difficult to persevere. Now there are a few questions that I want to discuss with you:
1. In your life, when would you use cryptocurrencies to shop? We know that people like to use cryptocurrencies in the dark web.Is general life shopping necessary?
2. If you use cryptocurrency for payment, what currency will you prefer to choose and why?
3. At present, the altcoin market is very bleak. Do you think this is a buying opportunity?
4. What do you think is the easiest to implement in Altcoin's future application scenarios and will attract more users!

Thanks all replies
1. Did you know that they even use fiat currency and gift cards in dark web for making transactions? You are saying it in such a way that they only use bitcoin.
2. Would use bitcoin, or some altcoin like LTC or ETH. Low tx fee.
3. You should buy whenever you can afford.
4. Not sure what you are asking over here.
3191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first visit to Bitcoin. Share your fast visit price on: May 26, 2020, 07:04:07 PM
As far as I can remember, I came to know about this Bitcoin from one big brother in 2016, I had a job with them according to group + level, if the level could be increased, I would earn Bitcoin, 5 level Bitcoin for each level. Got it, for that job, I bought 5 $ Bitcoin, then the thing I remember was the price of Bitcoin, 1Btc = 900 $ +, that's when I first saw Bitcoin, never heard of Bitcoin before, share your experience, first How much have you seen the price of Bitcoin?
Sound like a pyramid scheme, so you probably got to know about bitcoin from a pyramid scheme. I hope you didn't have an ugly experience from it.
And instead of saying the price, would probably be better if you let us know "when" (year) you got to know about bitcoin.
The first I heard was back in 2013 when Mt. Gox was the largest exchange. Didn't show much of an interest, but found it more interesting after all those controversies that took place.
3192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Getting Listed On Exchanges on: May 25, 2020, 06:16:24 PM
How does it work when you get your token listed on an exchange. Does the exchange require you give them a large amount of your tokens so they have liquidity? Who gets the money when they're selling them?
I thought it was done through user votes lol. I mean, user voted for the next coin to be listed from a list of coins. And then the exchange contacted those developer team. The team pays them a fee to get listed.
But looks like no vote takes place and they only receive money or tokens from the team. Ahhh I guess this is why those shitty exchanges have lots of shit coins listed on their site.
3193  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: May 25, 2020, 06:09:45 PM
No, not really. I mean like why even ask this question, for you know it is quite impossible, at least for now. Maybe in the future, but that future is far away. You are saying "you" as an individual can live without interacting with the bank, but is it actually possible? What if the only store on your block does not accept crypto currency, since their business can't work efficiently without banks? What if they accept cards only?
You are saying people might decide to use "physical cash", when who is going to issue those cash? The Bank.
3194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: May 25, 2020, 05:49:01 PM
I know that scam bounty projects still shows up on this forum from time to time but after managing to promote the bounty that's not a scam you end up with very low bounty reward, why ? I think the problem about bounties is we have too few bounty campaigns and too many bounty hunters

JUST IF

Just if bounty managers and project teams can start limiting bounty hunters the reward will still be fair enough, how can 500 participants share 3000$ bounty allocation?

Where are the bounties with fixed bounty allocations? After doing some digging on past bounty campaigns I noticed many of them have fixed rewards, this is good or limited participants

What do you think??
Isn't it the bounty hunters own fault? Why would someone want to join a bounty program where they take hundreds of participants and pay really less? If you guys stop joining and promoting them, they will eventually start increasing the rewards.
Though, I don't think its still worth joining a bounty program. The amount of scam project is too high. You will be just wasting your time.
3195  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency adoption in Africa on: May 25, 2020, 05:40:43 PM
One of the main problems can be in lack of number of PCs in Africa. Yes, crypto available on android phones, but a lot of important features available on PC only
Not sure what "important features" you are talking about, but yeah, you shouldn't be using mobile wallet not because of those "important features", but because of security and safety. Mobile wallets (and those apps) are never a secure place to store your coins. It would be easy to lose it!

In Africa, I wouldn't say it is because of the Government that the people are reluctant to use cryptocurrencies, rather than lack of knowledge. If the they knew better about crypto currencies and the technology behind it, I doubt anyone over there would hesitate to use it.
3196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: May 23, 2020, 03:30:05 PM
So I'm looking to round out my portfolio on about 10 crypto projects that are all under $0.10 right now and have the potential for going 100x by either doing so in the past or has great potential to do so again when the next bull market hits.

So far in my portfolio:

Unibright (UBT)
PolyMath (POLY)
Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR)
Enjin (ENJ)
Singularity (AGI)

I was considering adding WanChain, but I could take it or leave it.  It seems to have really good gains in the past and still is an active project.  But the others are staying in my portfolio.

So I'm looking for about 5 more really strong projects that are currently $0.10 and below with huge potential of 100x.

And GO! lol

Risky coins you have invested in. Is it really worth taking the risk? I mean, I have never heard of any of the coins you have mentioned. I have seen people investing in differnt coins hoping that the price would go x10, x100 and so on, but it was always a disaster for them.
Also, do your own research. Don't take suggestion from random people on the interenet.
3197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi just moved his coins? on: May 23, 2020, 11:43:38 AM
Are you sure this is his personal account? I'm not sure.
Read the whole post. No one knows if it is actually Satoshis coin or someone elses. If some says those coins for sure belongs to Satoshi, then that guy is just trying to spread FUDs. Might me one of those early miners, or maybe Satoshi himself, who knows..

-snip-
But to express my guess, I think Satoshi would use his Bitcoins for charity at most! (if he still has control over it)
I don't think Satoshi would want to harm his work in the slightest.
-snip-
I highly doubt Satoshi would even touch his stash. If he starts moving his coins, people would start panicking.
3198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Extremely low bounty rewards on: May 22, 2020, 07:19:58 PM
no one wants to get under appreciated.
specially if you exert so much effort for a project to be successful and rewarded not suiting your expense.
but sometimes, rewards ended up trash due to some people whos just dumping the sh*t out of their token rewards
and disregarding the other hunters that contributed to the success of the project
Yeah, instead of exerting so much effort for making a project successful, who don't people put on a little afford to learn about the project? If they see what project they are offering, if they learn about the team, they can easily guess if the project is just "another scam" or if it is indeed a legit project.
You think "just some" people can actually cause the price to crash? Maybe those "some people" you are talking about are the project developers themself.
3199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: May 22, 2020, 06:42:06 PM
You don't say. How would you expect a bad project to have a really good value in the long run? You shouldn't believe or look at the value of the tokens initially. Since, the prices are pumped and manipulated by the developers themselves, you might think that the price is really high. But, eventually after scamming all their investors, they just dump the tokens and the project dies along with the price of the token. Too bad, the market is filled with such projects.
3200  Economy / Economics / Re: Would nations adopt a DIY approach post covid-19? on: May 22, 2020, 06:23:55 PM
There is nothing to be unclear about ending of the pandemic. The pandemic WILL end like all those previous pandemics. Maybe in few months, or maybe in years, but it is bound to end. Currently, we might not be able to get a "medical end", but we will learn to live with the virus. We won't be fearing it, like we do currently.
Yeah, some people might take DIY approach. Those fear the virus a "lot" might end up doing in house painting, all those plumbing and so on. Those who accepts the fact that the virus is here to stay, will hire people like they used to before, but this time will take necessary measures to keep themselves safe from the virus.
