3181  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need admin of Bitvest to come here and explain! ( Not paying my winning) on: September 13, 2021, 06:28:19 AM
I have tried everything I can even a mod were contacted me and she said that she cannot do anything about it? Do we have to mark this casino as scammed? I wonder why Bitcoinstalk accept promo or advertiment for a scammed casino like this? Literally they don't pay our winning and it is not a fair game to risk out money for a place like this. Right now I know that the owner hoping I will keep playing and lost it back, lol what a nice place or nice idea to just steal other people money

Like I said above, the same case happened to one of their users but got settled. We can conclude the delay of withdrawal is a general issue and not an isolated one (I hope so).

The site's reputation is at stake but not currently a scam. Maybe we can call it unprofessional. They are one of the longest-running casinos here that successfully built their reputation from scratch and efforts.

For now, be calm as you can. I understand the frustration. Try to send them a ticket. A moderator can't really do something about it but just to forward your concern at the top. Bump also their ANN thread.
3182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 13, 2021, 06:08:01 AM
Yes he is indeed a monster, after Casimero there's no more worthy opposition on his current weight category he should move up again he is currently a three-weight champion great achievement for a young boxer, there's a possibility that he can challenge Pacquiao's record he was 8 division world champion, he can do it because he started in the lightest category like Manny Pacquiao, Inoue's career has a lot of possibilities.

If Naoya Inoue will win against Casimero there's still a business that needed to be finished on their division, not because of career but as a form of respect. He needs to make a rematch with Donaire because of the struggle he experienced defeating the veteran boxer.

But honestly, either Inoue or Casimero will lose here, a rematch is expected to happen unless one of them got overpowered different from the case of Donaire vs Inoue where the fight is close that's why a rematch is somehow necessary.
3183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 13, 2021, 05:40:18 AM
But that's a habit of him and it's not easy to take out that stat grabbing when you are used to it. He will still do it but I think he will be in control or Lebron will try to push and control him and avoid being reckless.

Yes, once a habit always a habit. Before Westbrook's arrival at the Los Angeles Lakers, he met with Lebron and Anthony Davis and talked about putting their egos aside and playing as one to bring the Lakers another NBA championship.

Russell Westbrook met with LeBron James, Anthony Davis weeks ago to discuss playing for Lakers,

According to the article, I like their plan of changing position if necessary when Westbrook is on the floor. Lebron James moving from SF to Pf and Davis from PF to Center. And in terms of offense, Westbrook will just let Lebron or Davis initiate it as he's now used on it playing in the Houston Rockets alongside James Harden and Bradley Beal playing with the Washington Wizards.

If that was perfectly executed and not just written in the paper, Lakers' core is now complete and hard to deal with.
3184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice multiplayer theory on: September 13, 2021, 01:31:24 AM
Dice is the most popular game in modern-day casinos. The reasons remain clear to me but am a fan of dice, as it doesn’t take much energy to play and win on a single game.

But I want to know the basic theory to play within a multiplayer?

As far as my backread is concerned, basically, OP might means how dice game should be played if on multiplayer mode and not on the usual house rules. Just correct me if I misunderstand your concern, OP.

I think it will be no different to other players vs player formats wherein there's a room, with the capacity, of course, waiting for that room to be full, then the game will now start. Rules and gameplay may vary and honestly, we can think lots of it so better just make your own possible way.

But that kind of game system is always targeted by bots and cheats. Another concern of mine is the reputation of the site that will do it as we need to be sure everything is fair especially if our opponent in that room is not running under their system's AI.
3185  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need admin of Bitvest to come here and explain! ( Not paying my winning) on: September 13, 2021, 01:15:55 AM

Maybe you can bump their official ANN thread which seems not that active lately:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1221154.0

Or contacting them by email: (already did?)
support@bitvest.io

There's a case just around over a week that someone now finally claimed all withdrawals after pending for 19 days. Maybe there are ongoing issues about how Bitvest is processing and handling its withdrawals currently.
3186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Uk most deprived areas have the Highest number of gambling outlets. on: September 13, 2021, 01:01:50 AM

No need for such deep and technical discussion. There is nothing wrong with those gambling establishments stationed in those deprived areas. Don't even consider them as a public enemy that lures everyone into gambling. It's no different when people deal with other sinful activities like drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, etc.

It's not just about the job opportunities but the fact that these establishments are present in those deprived areas means that the place does not really have that poverty standard of living since establishments are generating good revenues. There are even no reports of mass gambling addiction in that area or if have (maybe just not reported), can still tolerate or being controlled.
3187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto hype over? on: September 13, 2021, 12:48:26 AM

The hype will always be there. Since the creation of this thread, just look at how Bitcoin recovered and correct from the bullish hype months ago.

Playing currently at around $45,000 to close $50,000, it's always as ever that no need for any hype for Bitcoin just to reached that floor at any given trend. That Elon Musk thing before just created more awareness to the current hype but even without that happening, we can still see Bitcoin breaching new ATH while in the progress.

Trust the process.
3188  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 vaccination becoming a criteria to live in the world on: September 13, 2021, 12:31:17 AM

My friend living in Canada claims that the country is only accepting citizens with their preferred vaccine brand.  I don't know if that's true but I think it is more of discrimination for me compare to not having a vaccine.

Here in our country, it's now slowly turning into a mandatory requirement in just another way. Not because we are forced to undergo vaccine but requirements for leisure travel for example now requires a vaccination card instead of a test that you are negative. Some establishments are also reported to have that vaccination as a requirement too before entering their place so that their operation will be continuing and no need for temporary close.
3189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a trader needs to be a full time trader to be successful? on: September 12, 2021, 11:53:19 PM
As the market is volatile and very technical, does it take full time to become successful in trading? or can some trade part time and still make real profit from the market?

Define successful?

If you are talking about profits, even professional ones are losing today. A successful trader for me is those who are now able to play with the market at any given situation or trend making their losses minimal.

Does it take full-time to become a better trader? Not necessary but giving more precious time learning trades will make you more experienced. If you have time and really serious to learn, then spend more time.
3190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 12, 2021, 11:29:44 PM
I don't think they should be called "ignorant" as it is really has different meaning than what are being discussed here. Probably they just do not know that such terms exists so they're doing it. They're either not informed or they didn't read the terms of service of Coins.ph. Lets not pretend that we all are always reading those Smiley

You have a point but at least I'm expecting more are now aware of it. Terms about gambling is been in the exchange's Terms of Service since the company's inception in the Philippines. Not new after all although yes, most of us are not really aware or reading the terms. It's just become advice currently that reading the terms is necessary because crypt-related companies and services have now become a subject for regulations at any country.

But as far as PH local users are concerned, I doubt some of them already checked this thread. Maybe OP can share the thread on Coins.ph unofficial thread or I will do it later instead.
3191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot vs Video Poker on: September 12, 2021, 11:04:49 PM
As the topic specifies slot and video poker are the most friendly and simple games to play for me but the two have some disparity which I will love us to discuss on this thread.
1 what are the similarities between slot games and video pokers?
2 between slot and video poker which is more technical and requires skills to play?
3 what are your personal experiences with both games?

In general, both slots and video poker are probability games but you can do some various strategies on the latter, just as the usual poker, for the random cards that you will receive per session.

In terms of gameplay, being how technical it depends on how you understand the game. In an obvious way, if you are having a hard time learning one of them, then that's more technical to you.

Never did a video poker attempt throughout my gambling whether online or in physical casinos. But in slots, I have lots of experience already and I can consider myself a slot and roulette game enthusiast. Already made a good profit out from playing slots.
3192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: September 12, 2021, 10:36:42 PM
I fellas I have two questions to ask crypto experts and investors in this forum today

1. Is this a good time to build crypto portfolio?
2. Do you really think that bear market will be a dipping as 2018?

1. You don't need expert advice here as building a crypto portfolio is always good. The challenge now is, what coins should be part of that list so test your research skills regarding that.

2. No one has a crystal ball to see the future. The answer probably is yes or no as everything is always possible to happen. The question is, is that really important to know? What matters here is, you are prepared for whatever happened.
3193  Economy / Economics / Re: Two basic things that can give you an advantage on: September 11, 2021, 07:29:41 AM
There are two basic things that need to be implemented when the market suddenly falls like yesterday to make a profit. First, the attitude must remain calm by thinking that it will recover. Second, take the opportunity to buy as many coins as possible, such as top 10 coins.

Hard to advise when you are not in the situation. It's easy to say calm. For me, it's ok to panic "responsibly". What does it mean? It means while being under pressure, you are still in yourself and won't do any reckless thing that will make the situation more worst. Emotions are human nature and it's impossible to avoid that.

And for the other one you mentioned, don't just limit yourself to the top 10 coins. Buying as many coins as possible as long as you know what you are doing can also apply to others coins as well.
3194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ Wants Your Opinion on: September 11, 2021, 07:20:36 AM

No need for a much deep analysis of what CZ tweet. There's no hidden message about that or something he wants to implies.

"Just the beginning" - it will stay like that for years. Don't expect much that other countries will make bitcoin a legal tender. It's already good that there are lots of crypto-friendly countries and I prefer that way. At least, too far from being fully centralized.
3195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: September 11, 2021, 06:57:09 AM
It depends on how the gamblers fully familiarize themselves with these new trends, gamblers love to play in a traditional setting online and offline, if this metaverse gambling is easy to understand, no complications and gamblers can easily relate or familiarize and profitable, they will easily get into it, we'll see next year if this metaverse gaming will take off and become a serious threat.

Let's take Axie Infinity as an example. Many people, even not crypto-oriented or familiar with anything about crypto try to enter game and forced themselves to learn because of the play-to-earn- feature.

The same will goes on Metaverse-based games that involve gambling features. Even a gambler is not familiar or having difficulty understanding the stuff about metaverse or NFTs, as long as they see more opportunities to earn here while doing gambling, they will do anything to learn it.

And no. It won't be a threat in the future for usual gambling because features are different.
3196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 11, 2021, 06:31:00 AM

Don't battle on something that we can't control. In a gambling-friendly country and with the power of social media nowadays, it's almost 100% impossible for new generations to avoid gambling. They will expose to gambling no matter what.

Rather than put a stop to their curiosity, let them decide to themselves if they will be interested in gambling or not. Here in our country, gambling is everywhere but not all are addicted due to the fact that entering the gambling world was a self-preference.

In the event we noticed that one of our close ones is now being a gambling enthusiast, don't stop them as maybe they were responsible enough to with their gambling activity. Instead, educate them and share your insights about gambling and sure that person will share their sentiments too.
3197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 11, 2021, 03:59:43 AM
What can the PBA do to stop them from choosing other league over the PBA, I think this brings a serious message that they have to act immediately.

They can do something but what will be the feedback of the community if they will do that?

Remember the Kiefer Ravena issue wherein PBA, even in the right stand, still got backlash from the community and I think even here in this thread because people think they are getting the way of Kiefer to play abroad? If the community will not support them about it then it will affect PBA's reputation so better not take action and just allow their players to play abroad. In the case of Dwight Ramos, it's just fine to play abroad since after all, he's not in PBA yet.

It's also easy for others to say that PBA players should have a high salary but it's not that simple to approved. That's why there are good perks offered instead in case of a good run per conference wherein in some cases, the perks are much higher compared to the salary of the player that usually receives.

Because when they give big salary, big portion of that will still go to the government due to taxes, so they will give some allowance or reward instead as they could play it not to pay taxes on it, or if they will, it would only be a minimal amount. Unfortunately, this is only good for good teams as they are the teams that will likely be in the Finals or in the playoffs, low ranking teams will not have this kind of benefits.

Actually, it's not about the tax as the main concern.

There's a salary cap for each team. The purpose of it is to balance everything so that dominant teams can't just acquire and offer a big contract to a superstar. In the case of the NBA, it's effective because the majority of teams there can afford to spend a luxury contract if necessary. In the case of PBA, not that effective because only a few can handle the big cost. If PBA boards will allow another increase in salary cap per team, it will just result for SMC teams as an example to become more dominant because they afford to spend big unlike smaller teams.

That was critical and a sensitive issue because not all companies in the PBA are having the same level. That's one of the reasons why salaries in PBA can't just simply increase. Perks are also limited in terms of legal terms but as we know SMC is giving their players more of it under the table if a certain achievement was made.
3198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: September 11, 2021, 03:43:19 AM
Hello everyone.

Where do you see the bitcoin price in the next few months, especially at the starting of 2022?

It's around $45K right now. Experts' opinions are needed.

Any analysis even how professionally backed it up won't give you an exact thing that will happen next year. There are no 100% predictions and speculations as that's why they called like that in the first place.

You will see lots of speculations saying some figures but that was based on their own criteria.

Try to make your own and find your own set of factors. You can't refer to anyone in terms of future prices.
3199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana breakout on: September 11, 2021, 03:22:15 AM

If ever a correction will happen, I doubt Solana will end up in the worst possible bottom.

The hype around the coin is generic meaning it has fundamentals and not just an ordinary coin that was driven by the hype.

It's really common that some people are still hesitant to make an entry because of the sudden price increase but it's more regrettable if you won't able to ride the wave. Think deeply and face the risks.
3200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 11, 2021, 03:02:39 AM
Coins.ph keeps changing their rules and the status of their users you have to monitor all your transactions here my coins.ph is still pending because they are asking for a business license coming from SEC or the Mayor's office something that I cannot provide I'm just trading peer to peer or requesting my relatives to trade my coins to our local currency my other alternatives are PDAX and ABRA which is not strict compared to Coins.ph.

Why do they end up asking for a business license?

As far as my knowledge is concern about coins.ph and as a long-time user, they will just ask you that if you are requesting much higher limits. That was the necessary requirement and documents to approve that. No choice in the end, because regulations really hit them hard. Before, anyone can use coins.ph without that hassle but they need to comply with the government laws.

The same goes for gambling-related transactions.
