Don't know why people still consider its safe to keep funds on the binance exchange even we face these issues every now and then. I know they inform on twitter and come back to normal but consider one day they don't come back  Shocked
Honestly, that applies to any exchange in existence. You should not store your money on exchanges unless it's your trading bag. Binance, Coinbase, or whatever platform that you're using right now, always withdraw your profits and be prepared for the worst scenario.
Aren't we judging too quickly here?
What if OP just sent a few balance on binance but the later he tried to trade maybe he's been waiting for the right price then suddenly the problem started to occur? There's a lot of factors that would be reasonable enough to consider why OP did that plus the fact that binance is fully aware of what is happening is a sign that it's one of the exchange fault. And yes, you were right this is happening in every exchanges also due to massive traffic/traders doing trade.

That's the only drawback of crypto i have seen so far. We can keep the trading funds only at the exchange but those are also not very small. If the exchange is hacked or scam, people will lose their big amount of trading funds. However, this does not happen in physical banks. There needs to be third party insurances for the exchanges so the traders have piece of mind.
3182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will replace the Silver Marketcap on: February 20, 2021, 09:10:37 PM
In my opinion it really doesn't make that much sense celebrating when bitcoin overtakes marketcaps of certain companies. Silver though? Significantly a bigger deal, and it ain't really that far off from here— we only need approximately 45% increase from here.

On the other hand, bitcoin overtaking gold? Now THAT's a huge huge deal.

Bitcoin is now 1/10th of the gold marketcap. It is currently at 1 trillion and it needs to raise by 10 times in order to reach 10 T marketcap. This means that roughly the bitcoin price will be 500,000$ at that moment.  I don't see this happening in this market cycle. However, we might be on top of gold, after the next market cycle in 2025.

I will surely move my funds to my personal wallets in this weekend.
3184  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What to do right now with Binance? It's terrible on: February 19, 2021, 07:39:43 PM
I only get 4 animated orange vertical lines when trying to view my Balance. Not very promising.

As for their own little altcoin: any reason why it's suddenly worth 46 billion dollars?

There was too much hype for binance and binance smart chain (BSC) which has much cheaper tx fee than the Ethereum ecosystem. However after this event of binance spot trading issue and zero balance, there should be a big dump in the Bnb.

If bnb does not dump even after today's event, then we can say that infact people are too dump.
3185  Economy / Exchanges / Binance is showing Zero Balance on: February 19, 2021, 07:18:26 PM
Binance is showing zero balance for most of the users. If this does not got fix quick, it can give heart attack to many of us  Huh

3186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 19, 2021, 06:54:14 PM
We haven't seen an ATH for over an hour now. Soooooo boring.
Need action from Elon Musk  Grin

3187  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest people getting ready for economic crash on: February 18, 2021, 06:04:18 PM
Becouse when alot middle class and poor people start buying it means crash is near.

Although the market crash is inevitable but don't think it'll be happening anything soon. The market is too bullish for a crash to come spoil everything now. The bull season would probably last untill early next year or at least the end of the year before any bearish market becomes a trend. We're yet to see the best of Institutional investors pouring their funds into the industry. There would be some corrections there and here but that doesn't mean we'll be bearish.

Few days ago there was a correction but the market recovered very fast and now we're trading above the $50k mark that was looking very challenging to cross. Corrections like this will occur to build momentum for next milestone to be be crossed until probably the $100k milestone is crossed.

What you should be cautious of right now are the corrections, don't fall victim to the tricks the institutional investors would be trying to pour off. They'll want to buy cheap found as they'll try manipulating the market but you can't avoid this by not paying attention to the market but just been a hodler.

We all are humans and when we see market crash, if feels fear in our heart and we see sell thinking we should not lose the profit which we already have gained. The only way to keep ourself safe from these situations is to keep ourself away from the charts and prices. This way there will be no stress on our mind if there is a temporary market crash.
3188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to invest? on: February 18, 2021, 05:31:42 PM
Nobody can predict what will happen next but investing in Bitcoin for a long period will really worth it. We are in the era of digital payment and BTC is leading the race

In the long run, we all know that bitcoin will become the main global currency and we can't imagine the price of bitcoin but for the short term,  bitcoin might retrace a little before trying to break 55,000 or more. I am anticipating a healthy correction in bitcoin which is good for the market.
3189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Most dangerous Bitcoin monthly closing candle on: February 14, 2021, 11:55:07 AM
I frankly admit that i was wrong in this analysis that the big wick was the market cycle top. Bitcoin has now made another all time high above 49,000$. Perhaps, fundamental events like Elon Musk buying bitcoin news made the technical analysis invalid. No one know what is the market cycle top for this bitcoin cycle now.

You know, you're wrong whether you admit it or not;)

But don't worry, I was fooled too. I was short-term (and probably still am) bearish but every time we get a new ATH like today I'm wondering when the pain will come, or if it will be put off to a farther future.

I doubt Musk is fundamental though. It's good momentum catalyst but you can't be relying on unexpected boosts like that all the time.

Perhaps we have this bearish feeling each time bitcoin reaches ATH, because we have seen the previous bear market when bitcoin struggled to cross 10k.
The current prices seems to much high and therefore we have this fear of big dump, though it may not come this time.
3190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be surprise to see price of btc drop this week on: February 14, 2021, 11:35:41 AM
I'm seeing with the way the waves has gone and the closing of last week and month, the price is going to drop taking off close to $4,000 from the current price. This maybe a major correction.
~snip~

The correction will tend to initiate this month but with minimal progression. As you see on the chart, dominance is more high compared with resistance so lets expect more demand to come. Traders who do short and quick trades would always benefit a good profit one its done in a right way. Avoiding wrong moves is a good action, because we need to hit the right path before success comes.

Many people predicating to see a dump in the market in February but contrary to that, bitcoin and altcoins are not dumping. I think we may see an extended bull market period without a significant correction. This is due to a lot of positive sentiments in the market and i think this time is different.
3191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will increase 20X in the next 5 years on: February 14, 2021, 11:20:28 AM
I don't understand why people compare gold with bitcoins. There's no comparison and if the gold cost goes up it won't influence the bitcoin market.
Digital forms of money are decentralized while gold isn't it's a controllable resource and governments are behind it.
Bitcoin may rise more in the next 5 years and it can cross $500,000+ since it has more potential than gold and we may see greater improvement in forthcoming days.

There are number of reason why people compare gold with bitcoin as they think that bitcoin is digital gold. Gold marketcap is around  $9 trillion and if bitcoin gains that much marketcap, then we can't imagine the price of bitcoin at that moment.
3192  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Misconceptions about valentine. on: February 14, 2021, 10:55:03 AM
I believe in love everyday and not love only on valentine's day, I believe in gifting loved ones even when there is no occasion for it. I believe in sit outs and eat out, lunch and dinner dates with people or someone you love on any day and not necessarily on valentine's day alone. If one truly loves someone, one should show it everyday and not only on a specific day.

Valentine's Day celebration in our society has taken a new turn. It is now a day where those not in a relationship or married feel left out, it is now a day where those who do not get gifts tend to feel a little less loved. A day where common things like gifting and movies, eat outs and dinner dates etc are made to feel as though they were uncommon things that could not happen anyday else.

What is your view on Valentine's Day? Is it a day to fake love and show temporary affection? Is it only for lovers?

Yes, you can love your near and dear ones through out the year and not just dedicate a single day for this.
These days valentine day is mostly celebrated by the unmarried couple who prefer to go on Date on this day  Wink
3193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: America's oldest bank support bitcoin holding on: February 14, 2021, 10:36:35 AM
Not going to lie, it excites me but I know for a fact that this old bank supporting the bitcoin is up to something. I don't know what it is but I know that they want to get in because they are planning something in the market. They are a welcome but we have to be cautious because this bankers operate not on the interest of the people but their interest and the people that protect them. This is still the same as hodling your bitcoin on an exchange and attacks can happen.

No need to go in details as we are not going to give our bitcoin holdings to the bank when we can keep them save in our own private wallets. But this is a bullish news for bitcoin as now after the institutes , banks are also getting involved in bitcoins. I can see the world financial system changing soon.  Wink

3195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest on: February 14, 2021, 09:56:58 AM
If you want to invest in the safe coins, here is the list

Eth
Ada
Dot
Link
Bnb

You won't lose your money in the long run, if you hold any of these coins. I would suggest to keep all of them in your portfolio.

There are so many new blockchain projects been tagged the ethereum killer but some has not live up to expectation. some are gaining huge attention and one  i am particularly interested in is the Polkadot. May i ask this great community to share with me any place where i can get a good knowledge of what POLKADOT is and how to create and own a polkadot wallet. and also how the blockchain functions.

You can find more details about polkadot here https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/polkadot

3197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don’t be lured by the promises of easy money! on: February 14, 2021, 03:11:08 AM
Anyone who promises to give you free money or easy money is something to be vigilant and get all the details about it and most importantly do not be greedy.
Some people also take your money and promise you to double them in certain days which is another form of scam which is popular in some areas.
3198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 13, 2021, 08:53:57 PM

Everyone knows that most altcoins are trash but they are a way to accumulate more bitcoins. You can increase your bitcoins to  x times by sensibly trading with the alts.  Wink

2017-18: blockchain not Bitcoin
2020-21: crypto not Bitcoin
2023-24: digital currency not Bitcoin

Without bitcoin there is no crypto, no digital currency and no use case of blockchain technology.
