3181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: May 23, 2021, 10:30:02 PM
The only mistake I made is I got too carried away with trading btc-alts pairs and now more than 50% of my holdings are in alts. Could be a long time for them to recover.
You arent the only ones who are experiencing this but also in other traders or investors as well on where we do have significant drop in our portfolio.

Thing here is that as long we dont sell out then that wont be considered as lossing investment. Many really got wrecked on this current market condition.

Even myself is losing that much money or in negative at the moment but theres nothing you can do but rather hold until the market recovers.
3182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 23, 2021, 07:51:43 PM
Self-pity, victimization or blaming the casino and gambling don't solve any problems. There is no easy solutions, but potential solutions are only going to get harder if the gambler get focused on the pain. Money comes and go all the time and nobody should get too attached to it. It's different than losing a beloved person: the amount you lose today, you can recover tomorrow or even more since you set your mindset on this direction.
Good and positive thoughts attract energies of the same kind which help us solving our problems in different areas of our lives, that is what I believe.
Which unfortunately it is what the gambler that lost all of that money was doing when he tried to place the blame on the casinos, which means that there is a very high chance that he is going to make this mistake again, it is known that those that own their mistakes and their actions are way less likely to make life changing mistakes as they know they are the ones at fault and the ones that will have to solve their problems, people like this gambler will keep making mistakes in all aspects of their lives as they are incapable of owning their mistakes.
Most of gamblers doesnt really accept their own mistake on where its true that they would really be most likely taking out the blame into the casino on why they lost and after that they would play again
once they do have already some balance into their account. The amount is really limitless when it comes to losing money probability and this is what makes gambling industry to be so profitable.
You would be really having the tendency to commit out such events in your life if you do let yourself get hooked with addiction and doesnt mind off about your finances.
As long you do have the money to spent on or sell your properties and assets then you would really always have the chance on going all in.
3183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's never too late to start on: May 23, 2021, 07:18:02 PM
I want to start trading again. Could you please give me some advice so that I don't go through things like a few years ago.
You have a chance to start right now, the crypto market is currently crashing, maybe you need to monitor the market for the next few days, if you want to invest and trade crypto again.

Overall, the conditions of opportunity are still in your favor, you need careful consideration before you do it, in essence: be sure and do.

Bitcoin today touched $ 33,000, watch and so on.
But majority would really be hesitant to get in on the current condition on the market on where they would really believe that the crash might continue and in result in losing
investments or negative instead so i cant really say that it would be an easy decision to get in right at the moment but for us who had known this market and a bit
knowledgeable when it comes to technicals then entering into this current price is not really a bad idea at all.Its true that its not really too late to start
because if you do engage with crypto market then there's always a never ending opportunity to gain profit but of course you should mind also with the risk.
3184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: May 23, 2021, 06:59:35 PM
Now, I am wondering as I am checking this thread, would there be another example of a rigged game that was infamous and was well known in the sports community? Surely with the long history of sports there might be other examples of this coming from other sports and was recorded on video. Does anyone here know any other example that was recorded on video? Maybe there is a possibility that something similar got recorded and it got too obvious resulting to them being sacked.
When it comes to these kind of events then its likely you wont really be able to see these footages or videos on certain busted possible or confirmed rigged games unless if its leaked or
getting much attention online but for sure there are still some who hadnt really get that much emphasized or known or been shown to the public but of course those things do exist.
For smaller leagues then it might be a bit common to look upon but for bigger ones then its really rare to find one.
3185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Withdrawal/Deposit Issues on: May 23, 2021, 06:26:50 PM
Majority of exchangers does have these kind of terms on where funds that came from gambling is really prohibited and once they had traced or know about it then you would really be experiencing problems.

Also on the thing you had said about these exchangers shouldnt really accept funds in the first place then its really hard to filter out and there are things to consider
when they are really that trying to ban or restrict possible gambling site addresses or simply it does really involved a lot of work.
So as a user then you should really be aware with the terms if you dont like to experience some headache later on.
3186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Traders, y'all buying, selling or on the fence? on: May 23, 2021, 05:45:57 PM
Wait and see is probably the best bet. The recent decline just started, after all, trying to take a position quickly may make you get some unnecessary losses when you could've planned it out much better. Definitely not the time to enter and expect Bitcoin going up, but if they really want to, they can try spreading out their investment times to different periods, just so that you won't lose everything by entering now or entering later. Profit is smaller, but hey, that's the price for it.
Wait and see is a line for those who arent really sure about their capacities and capabilities towards trading or investment where you do wait when the market would have risen up already?

When it comes to times like these then you would need to make some action but there are instances on where patience would be tested out.

Honestly this is the best time on buying coins while its still on sale but of course purchase with your own risk.
3187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 21, 2021, 11:55:48 PM
KO in the first round wont happen just because people who have bought PPV need a show. But seeing Logan Paul KO'ed is something I wish also Cheesy I'm also sick and tired of all these immortal youtubers. Professional sport and fun must be divided. Or at least make fights where fighters have equal skills and don't do mismatches of freak matches just for the money. If people seek for fight, freaks and fun - welcome to WWE Cheesy
I'm much rather Mayweather get KO'd by Logan just because of the amount of press it would get, and ultimately it would be hilarious. Imagine it, the self proclaimed GOAT, and a lot of fans sort of echoing that getting knocked out by a predominately Youtube entertainer, who has previously got beaten, and drew with a Youtuber who is most famous for playing video games.

It would be absolutely hilarious. Although, I have been quite open in stating that the chances of that are completely minimal. I'm not even sure I would want to see Logan get knocked out, I would prefer if it went the distance if Mayweather were to win.
That would turn out to be "talk of the year" if that certain fight would end up for Floyd to lose into a youtuber. I dont know on where they do get that kind of confidence
on where Logan could able to knock Floyd on this upcoming exhibition. If other pro boxers out there wont able to do so then how this guy would able to make it possible?
Not to underestimate but the gap in terms of experience and skills is too far off.
3188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what are you investment strategy on: May 21, 2021, 11:24:40 PM
My investment strategy is quite easy to implement, just like current market conditions, what I do is buy it, not to sell the assets I have!
Yes, the longest investment takes several years to be able to take high profits, otherwise known as a long term trade, every trader has their own way,
you can do it from mid term trade or long term trade, investment period of half a year to several years
Depends into our own preference because not all could  really afford nor have the patience on doing so and much prefering on seeing profits in a short span of time just like me on where i dont like to hold for long but i do have funds which are allocated for long term hodls and there are coins which are intended to be traded up actively because i do like to see profits in a short span of time thats why i do actively trade.
When it comes to strategy then this do involves self discipline and choices towards your current positions and making out actions varying on the said point.
Not all people would be having the same mindset this is why we do see different outcomes.
3189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: May 21, 2021, 10:58:36 PM
snip
I didn't because I gamble moderately and I know what I do.

The fear is with those people that even if you tell them to gamble moderately and learn from others mistake, they won't follow. Until they experience the same mistake as them then that will make them worry a lot because they didn't take it seriously.

The reduction of gambling activity will help your friends, it won't come in an instant but at least they're trying.
Yes, you are right. Even if they make a mistake, they will still play gambling because they do not realize what they already did. But it is different if they are finally losing too big money and see what they already lost in gambling, they might think to stop gambling for a while. But still, it is not many of them can realize that instead of still playing gambling, they say that they enjoy playing gambling. The reduction will be necessary to do by a gambler because that is the thing that can help them to save money and prevent more losses.
Yes.

The start with losing big money, they'll finally come to realize that it's no longer normal and they're losing a lot of money on it. They will start to think of any way to reduce their losses or recover it.

That's the start of being a responsible gambler if they don't want to incur the same amount of losses that they've done.
They are the ones who do make out their own fate and if they do realize that they are losing up much then why would decide to play even more?

This is actually varying on someones awareness and discipline towards self and if they do tolerate their addiction and tend to chase up losses rather than on complete stopping then
that would really be a big problem later on. Be responsible specially when it comes to finances because once this problem is done then you would really be
having a hard time to recover up.
3190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This isn't the first time the dip has happened on: May 21, 2021, 10:00:03 PM
People arent still experienced to be still in shocked on these kind of times.  Grin For new people then its understandable for them to get shocked

but for older ones then its odd that they arent still get used to it.Instead of panicking then better see this as an opportunity or chance to buy low price coins
in the market and make profits when it starts to recover.
3191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ohio offering lottery prize worth one million for those that get the COVID shot on: May 21, 2021, 09:06:56 PM
What do you think of this? Do you agree with what the governor of Ohio is doing or are you against it?

Source: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-57096039
as a guy who wanted to get vaccinated so I can be more at ease, yeah I am fine with it. these incentives are just a bonus for me. also, I agree with what Darker45 said it would be better to lower the winning amount and to increase the number of people that can be picked as a winner. although, getting a chance of winning $1million has a better ring to it than winning a $100k. I wish my government would do the same.

Maybe it will happen, right now the incentive itself is to get the vaccine and be free of having to live your life afraid of the virus, but as things are going I am not going to get the vaccine in a very long time, which means that by that time I could get it there is going to be less enthusiasm coming from the population to get the vaccine which means that offers like this one could pop all over the world and you will get the best of both worlds, you will get the vaccine and maybe a small chance to make some significant amount of money.
When you do make yourself some vaccine just because you do hope for a million and just neglect out the risk on getting side effects then better you havent considered such step.
It isnt really an enough reason for me to get vaccinated because im still hesitant on what would be the possible risk that could rise up later on.Important thing here is that
you should strengthen your immune system and trying not to expose of yourself into the public so that you wont be risking out yourself to get infected.
Its a good initiative but i dont see for it to be that effective.
3192  Economy / Speculation / Re: MELTDOWN - if you don't sell now, YOU WILL LOSE MOST OF YOUR FUNDS!!! on: May 21, 2021, 08:59:10 PM
Here is a hot tip for you - sell now and buy back below $10,000. What do you guys think?

You can thank me later!!
Why would need to sell if you can buy on the said point you had said or much lower level? No need to cut loss if you could afford to wait a long time.

This is where you do realize that saving up some money or funds whenever these kind of buying opportunity because you would able to accumulate cheaper coins
since you do have funds already allocated for that.
3193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 21, 2021, 08:13:40 PM
Am certainly picking one or two points from here but afaik not everyone is reacting the same to the pandemic, others might see isolation to be the answer to keeping oneself safe from it but this would work in the short term but indeed our social skills could be dented, it's scary if you think about it, I hope these vaccines we getting better the situation.
You do still think about social skills? Do you really mind off that first than into your own health? It wont matter if it would be affected as long im healthy and safe then that what surely counts but well
not all people would really be having the same mentality when it comes to this which it isnt surprising that there are several reasoning which do really opposes to each other.
Vaccine is all we need or a total cure with this current virus we are facing on but for sure it would still take a lot of time and im not really that confident on taking some shot
for now.

Dont know about the issue of Zcash towards full anonymity though.
3195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: May 20, 2021, 11:59:18 PM
Online gambling is the first choice if the gamblers want to gamble since the physical casino is not available during the pandemic. Those who prefer physical casinos will continue to gamble once there is a casino open once the pandemic is not worst anymore. Even the fiat casinos also accept cryptocurrency too and just pop up to the forum then most of the people in this forum didn't heard of it yet.
The pandemic might have had some influence but I don't think it accounts for the rise. The increase in awareness about crypto and its uses in my opinion also played a role.

After all, there wouldn't be much point in over-saturating the market with so many casinos if there wasn't a need for it - that's assuming that these people do their market research before hand. Plus the fact that these days you can gamble for free for some nice rewards is quite appealing.

We dont need lots but there are several owners whom do really tend to make even more just because of this market is booming up in terms of gambling industry.
Its true that we do have lots currently and if something new pops out then they should consider on offering something unique and not just an another dice, slot games that
we do have currently which is already a saturated one.

Its true that this pandemic situation isnt only the factor that do affect such rise in recognition.
3196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader took his own life after the recent huge dump on: May 20, 2021, 11:10:00 PM
People shouldnt really be ending up on a suicide if they do lost up money but honestly this is a hard thing to say when you are in the situation because imagining that your entire life
savings was on the line and suddenly get liquidated then you would really be going into that point. This is why its important that we shouldnt go all in with cryptocurrency investment.
Its way too risk and always invest on the amount that you can only afford to lose because in case you got liquidated then you wont really be hurt that much where it comes to a
point on where you do decide or end up having the thoughts on taking your own life which it isnt really worth at all.
3197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 20, 2021, 10:27:18 PM

1- Would you gamble at a crypto-casino knowing it would ask you for KYC documents before withdrawal?

No, they should ask out KYC before you do make out deposits not before on making a withdrawal and that would surely sucks!

2-  Do you feel safe giving out your KYC to online crypto-casinos?

No, Giving out documentations about your identity is never been giving out that feeling of safety.
3198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl is not the best option as it seems on: May 20, 2021, 10:15:35 PM
its hard to get big value in short for bitcoin, doesnt mean no people cant get it. but, people will choose to hold for long time then buy it at high price, because its too risk, specially for new comer. bad news if bitcoin get dump or the buyer can control himself. so, holding is good option to gain massive value.
You should change that kind of mindset on where you do anticipate or hope too much that you would be making out money without considering on the time you had entered on the market
not directly talking on bitcoin investment but also with altcoins as well and you should be aware on the risk in terms of volatility so that it wont frustrate you out when you do see for this
market to move on.HODL is for those people who intent to hold for long term and doesnt really mind on what would be the price. It might easy as it sounds
but holding does require strong self control and discipline on not to sell no matter what.
3199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 20, 2021, 09:14:36 PM
I saw that news when it came out and this basically means that we are going to get a third fight between Fury and Wilder, I will see it of course as I am a fan of boxing but there is not going to be any hype on my part as I do not think Wilder has the necessary skills to pull an upset against Fury, so once gain promoters found a way to kill excitement for the biggest fight of the year and we do not have any idea when the fight will happen.
We've seen this drama on how it did end up on Wilder and surprisingly they do able to find out some way to make this Trilogy to happen which is way too unexpected.
Im dying to see on how Fury would end up this drama and move on ahead and fight AJ. Im not that interested with Wilder anymore but it somehow needs
to be settled for good.
3200  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fucking rich whoever bought bitcoin around $30,000 -$31,000 on: May 20, 2021, 08:59:18 PM
Yes, if you are one of them, you should be richer now. Bitcoin went up to $40,000 now, when yesterday it was down to $30,000. You have made 30% profit just within 1 day whatever the amount you bought the dip/crash (whatever we called it) several hours ago.

Thats what you called "Buy low Sell high" and price didnt really dip down to 30k but rather 35k to be exact. For those who had able to risk out then theyre definitely making some profits.

A casual trading stuff eh but there are lots who had been freaking out when they do saw the price is going down. For those who had able to buy the bottom then that was an easy money.

For now, lets see on how prices would really be moving on this time if it would truly recovers or would be having another round of price dips.
