Block minted at 11:11 has 11 confirmations (3x 11) with 13 connections and 39 more blocks for minted coins to become spendable (3x number of connections), that must be a sign! Ok GrounBEEF here..........runnin the XBC mothership jus...for a lil bit. I recently payed a kat named "pollforall" .15 btc to complete block explorers and possible rich list. JJMV and Substrata, feel free to contact him and query him on the technical side of things. It's just GrounBEEF's time to throw down and help ya heard? Much love yall........from the XBC PlusBus mothership......(funk music fades out).

Who is that guy? I hope you have not paid to someone who will host blockchain explorer for a month and then vanish like it is the case with many new "developers" around lately. BTW, you might want to add bitcoinplus signature to your main profile. It could be you might need more posts (activity?) for everything to work properly, it seems forum unlocks complexity of signature gradualy - it was done that way to prevent noobs adding distractive signatures (many colors, big font sizes, etc.) as soon as they joined this forum. To my surprise, while I was messing with my own signature today I found out that Orbitron font is supported on this forum - is that one more sign or what? A miracle! Hallelujah! bitcoinplus

On a new logo matters, below one might fit bitcoinplus the best - orange is associated with Bitcoin and green is associated with PoS. Some other green might work even better. Also note that letter b no longer shares color with + but is the same color as plate (coin background), that should make + visualy stand out more and also solves issue with plate color not being represented at coin itself (that might be a problem in cases like wallet icon).

I didn't know bitcoinplus can be traded at BTC-Market, check https://btc-market.org/?Pair=XBC_BTC - can someone confirm that exchange is legit? Did anyone deposited coins there, traded and attempted to withdraw coins? I'll do an in-depth check on that later, out of time right now.

Payment confirmed. Thanks What was the cause of issues with compiling anyway? Could you post what exactly you have done to make it all work, for future reference?

I have found out the problems in compiling of the nodes and I'll fix all of them within 8hours as I'm outside right now.
All 3 nodes are up and running now, IPs are: 192.3.158.40 192.3.158.75 192.3.172.216 BTC payment to 192fqgb5aCKrjNkudGqSWR6Nuu4J8tEMB7 done, check https://blockchain.info/tx/c0bcccbdb65e36d18710ef400e91631567d4c4f98465c625a0f9c3146f62af7cSteps to connect to new nodes and possibly some nodes you are usualy not connected to (whatever the reasons for that might be): 1. Shutdown your bitcoinplus wallet. 2. Add the following lines to xbcplus.conf file (if you don't have one, create it in folder where your wallet.dat file is located): addnode=192.3.158.40 addnode=192.3.158.75 addnode=192.3.172.216 addnode=5.133.155.22 addnode=12.37.199.112 addnode=24.67.30.88 addnode=31.200.140.167 addnode=62.210.122.161 addnode=67.167.123.46 addnode=67.177.224.49 addnode=69.244.109.161 addnode=71.175.81.45 addnode=75.110.138.134 addnode=75.152.12.122 addnode=78.46.96.75 addnode=78.90.65.26 addnode=82.11.131.231 addnode=85.94.129.50 addnode=85.94.143.118 addnode=92.251.189.218 addnode=94.140.68.197 addnode=98.15.232.21 3. Start your bitcoinplus wallet and enjoy better connectivity!

While setting up certain things I got PM stating that:
"Keep in mind that Bitcoin/Litecoin/etc. are made to only connect to one node per /16 block, so if his computers are all in the same /16 network (IP 1.2.*.*) those three nodes will effectively not be utilized to their fullest extent."
Afterwards I connected to three /16 block IPs successfuly with connect=IP but that is also the case with addnode=IP so my question is - rule as quoted above is false or it is just the code used with altcoin I'm doing setup with (it is based on Bitcoin code) is outdated or modified in regard to quoted rule? Or it is just addnode=IP is ignoring quoted rule?
All three IPs are in 192.3.*.* range.

How long since last block found?
35 hours. Well, good way to stop inflation in its tracks. haha. Correct, let's put MAX into winter hybernation! Enough of those bears already!

I suggested switching to #bitcoinplus mostly because that is brand name, XBC is just ticker. No clues about IRC beside occassional usage over web. Who is Seriouscoins anyway? Thanks for node donations but unless we find someone who can help ranochigo with compiling the deal will be canceled.

I see you guys aint giving up on this coin
I have Web Design Skills aswell as im a german speaking native with little programming skills. By the way to show im legit i signed up for an account on here with my real name
thanks guys qand hopefully i can help you guys, by te way i hold a few xbc myself so its in my best interesst as well to get that coin to rise again
Welcome! As the king of XBC I fully approve of Substrata's design. Without a doubt in my mind this where we should be heading logo wise. Any objections in the realm???
Ey Substrata..........can you humor me and do it in the colors of the current BTC scheme? Just want to see what it looks in comparison. I think the black, red and white is super great........maybe it'll be to dark of a tone for consumers though. We'll all find the right color scheme soon.
Not sure what you mean with "do it in the colors of the current BTC scheme" so mess with colors yourself, if I start messing with color palette I know there will be no end to it! http://inkscape.org/en/download/http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Orbitronhttps://www.sendspace.com/file/bqbvgl <--- vector files, click on "Click here to start download from sendspace" and make sure you have Orbitron font installed before loading files.

As for the color of background - think "Accepted here" sign and similar stuff - green would also look nice and fit PoS altcoins agenda (low power consumption, no PoW mining).
|
|
|
Few variations on possible logo with Orbitron font used, shadows are not nice because Inkscape is playing stupid on me for some reason. Logo would be just Orbitron small letter B with Orbitron plus sign in the middle and all that rotated 13 degrees to the right, same as with Bitcoin logo.

3 blazing fast full nodes will be added to BitcoinPlus network possibly today, check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=790839.0 I will pay for the service in full (6 months hosting at 0.0212 BTC per node so 0.0636 BTC total) but if you feel like participating send some coins to my addresses: BTC address = 17wF8j52Dnz9HnA2bExsjyQQ5P3SjgPBNA XBC address = BJ1oKo1xZMuJSA9ACNZfdvQXVsAfXKJaLX IP addresses of those 3 full nodes will be posted so you can check if they are online and working (option connect=IP via .conf file will make your wallet connect to that IP only). It is actualy very unfortunate that steps like one above are neccessary - network is weak as shit - while at the same time you guys already started pumping XBC price like crazy. If network dies the only thing you could do is dump those coins at exchange where you have them, you would not be able to withdraw them to other exchange or anywhere else. Even if you don't feel like withdrawing your coins to local wallet for staking it would help if you run local wallet at all times, network traffic and computer resources required are very low. I'm working on new logo, draft will be posted here probably later today. No reply from wallet developer yet.

Are all 3 available slots hosted on the same server? If yes, do they have separate IPs or share the same one? Please check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=714606.0 and let me know if there would be any issues with hosting full node for that altcoin.

We should start working on roadmap for XBC, certain things should be done before some other things will eventualy be done and it is neccessary to get agreement on timeline.
Already on it. You can access the projects roadmaps sheet here >>> https://docs.zoho.com/sheet/ropen.do?rid=0ifc37a7c2c0407c546f896b81487d29f5bf8The document is open to the public, so anyone can access it and view details, progress, priorities, etc... Only members with an @bitcoinplus.org address will be able to edit the document. Great job there! I have moved wallet stuff to 4th and 5th positions (column E), those two objectives are hard ones and would require a new logo created first. Website update is also much less work than wallet stuff but requires a new logo. Time for me to fire up Inkscape - if anyone has some idea for XBC logo now is good time to post it even if it is still in pure text (thought?) format. I'll stick with colors BEEF suggested but feel free to complain on them. At Poloniex: "The following currencies will be delisted on September 24th: HOT, MIN, PAWN, XHC, DVK, COMM, EFL XSI, BCC, CACH, LGC, BONES, AERO, USDE, METH, LTCX, TRUST, IXC, SOC" WE ARE STILL ROLLIN'Fuck the Moon, get Sirius!

You can come up with a finite deterministic set of rules to decide if that 1 Satoshi is considered A, B, both or none.
It makes no difference, there is no way you can be sure if 1 Satoshi originated from A or B hence " every single satoshi is still traceable to its generation block" is false.
|
|
|
every single satoshi is still traceable to its generation block Bullshit. Send some coins from addresses A and B to address X and then send 1 Satoshi from address X to address Z. Did that 1 Satoshi originated from address A or address B? Every bitcoin transaction has inputs and outputs. You can look at the transaction sending 1 satoshi to Z and see which inputs were used, and which previous transactions they were outputs from. You can trace this back to the mined coinbase transaction. The only time this gets fuzzy is if you have many inputs and outputs. For instance, if before sending to Z you merge the inputs by creating a transaction combining them into one output, and then use that output as an input to send 1 satoshi to Z. Yes, forgot to add it to post. Merging of A and B are required.
