3181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is possible to make a profit by trading on: December 31, 2021, 07:54:54 PM
Yes it is trading is a good way to earn profit in crypto but still we need patience and proper understanding on crypto, sometimes newbie loss because they lack of patience and they lack of understanding, most of the old investors earn because they know more about volatility and how to extend their patience limitations.
I was supposed to say that it was a risky try for everyone who is new in trading but this gonna be more profiting if you are knowledgeable enough and really have the skill. But because we wanted to learn about trading, we don't care much about losing, instead we urge ourselves to do it despite a very challenging market that sometimes is hard to understand.

Knowledge, skill, and experience are a complete package that we need to acquire in order to become more profiting, and to earn every day was pretty easy if we have reached already that level of expertise. And never think this was easy, No, that really it takes several months.
3182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: December 31, 2021, 07:29:04 PM
The only way to help us to identify if that project is a scam or legit is to do searching. But some are very careful to hide who really they are and we just get surprised that they turn into an exit scam. Although we could think that searching never gives 100% assurance, well, that seems right but at least, we do something that could help us to warn ourselves. But in the case like I've mentioned (exit scam), that really be our unlucky day to choose such a project that are/is worthless and untrusted developers.
3183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: December 31, 2021, 05:04:12 PM
Hello,
2022 is the time to buy or sell? If it is time to buy, then which coins or tokens?

Thank you.
The year doesn't matter when we talk about investing/buying as every day could be the right time to do it. Let us going to assume that in early 2022 the market is bullish, thus if we miss buying today, it was obvious that we miss the opportunity of selling high as well. Because if that we only want to invest in crypto, I don't think we need to wait until next year to perform our plan but rather to start it now.

If the current situation will still keep its trend next year, that it looks like we are on the way to making a profit earlier. But of course, it was you who could decide, don't make yourself being dumb but rather have your own perspective.
3184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investment on: December 31, 2021, 04:37:19 PM
I have a few capital and I will like to know the proper token to venture in. Am unused to NFTs and will cherish to induce your supposition on which NFT to purchase for a brief term bas
I've seen a lot of good NFTs to invest with but its too risky if you do this with limited knowledge about how cryptocurrency works. To make that capital more worth it, you should invest only on good projects and learn to analyze not just base on anyone speculation, its always better if you understand what you are doing. NFT and Metaverse are the next trend, start searching for a good project now.
It was rather the best choice for now as this seemingly gets in hyped and has a quick return if possible especially when you've got lucky and choose the best project. I'd say it was lucky for it somehow which one of these number fo new projects created, NFT, metaverse...it is a way to make a wise choice and this will just be going to happen when we do our searches prior to investing or else, this will probably the reason of our losses and regrets.

So, it was our call to make a favor by spending more time in the market for the sake of having the knowledge. But I think, we don't just focus on short-term investment alone but also reconsider finding for long-term as well.
3185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 31, 2021, 02:45:30 PM
Bulls vs Pacers, Chicago is hot, DeRozan and Lavine are the best duo we have right now, while the Pacers are somewhat is crumbling as a team, even losing at home recently as betting favourite.

I will choose the Bulls here, they are only -4.5 against the Pacers, and based on their past games, they really played well and win together as a team, so I think even if the Pacers has the home court advantage, the better team will still win which is the bulls.

Bulls are on a 5 winning streak with 5 points as their lowest wins, but looking at their last 3 games, they really are dominating their opponents.
3186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: December 31, 2021, 02:03:01 PM
Everything would be settled inside the ring which is always been the deal and lets see if Thurman is really prepared and would be good if starting up the year with a win.

Exactly, but I expect Thurman to win here because if he will not, I'm afraid his career will be similar to Broner which is slowly going down now. I remember also when Thurman got surgery, he was also inactive for a while but when he comes back, he still win, so his situation now is quite better and I have no doubt he will win if he trains hard.

Thurman is well rested, and it seems he is already willing to go back and bounce from the Pacman defeat. Broner is different case though, I mean he is really very arrogant and boastful to the next level and that's why when he lost to Maidana, all the hype is gone.

Thurman can still go back win this fight and then fight the winner of Ugas vs Spence or even go directly to Crawford if he can get him to fight him after this.

Thurman only lose to Pacman, no one beats him aside from Pacman in the division he is campaigning, so I think despite the fact that he rested for years, he still got the skills and his power punch to punish his opponent, and his opponent now is a lower quality compared to the boxers he beat in the past.

Now that Pacman is already retired, Thurman is coming back to try to win and dominate, that has been his goal from the start, it's just that he took the risk of fighting Pacman and failed, but despite that, people are still happy with this boxing journey so far and they still believe that Thurman is a championship caliber fighter.
3187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez Feb 19, 2022 on: December 31, 2021, 01:20:34 PM
Yes it did turn out to inspire other filipino boxers to take the same path and now we are seeing those potential ones who could potentially go on the same step on that Pacquiao had achieved
even though its still too far to consider out but having these small steps would really progress out.

Maybe he is considering following the step of the champion legends who were defeating every champion in their respective weight division while climbing to the top just like Manny Pacquiao did when he started to beat Ledwaba in his first fight in the USA. Ancajas have some similarities with Pacquiao and if he trains hard and works for his new technique that would surprise his opponent and break their defense, he might become one of the great boxers in history. But that will require a massive amount of effort and dedication to making it come true.

Of course, every boxers from the Philippines uses Manny Pacquiao as their inspirations. How many Filipino boxers or at least how's the boxing community in the Philippines exploded after Pacquiao breaks into the scene? And up to know new boxers are looking at him because of his accomplishments. But this fight is really difficult for Ancajas but a win here will be really big for him career wise. He could really break in the US mainstream just like Manny did when he beat the champion Ledwaba.

Why do you find it difficult when Ancajas is the most experience boxer and has a good record compared to Martinez? His opponent may be undefeated but Ancajas had some big fights that he succeeded to win, I would say it's difficult for Martinez not for Ancajas as we know who is the favorite to win here.

It's difficult because Martinez is an undefeated fight, no easy fight for any boxer as both are training hard to win. It's better that way than saying it's an easy fight as we've already seen some upsets in the past, like when we thought that Pacquiao would easily beat Ugas but what happened was the opposite.
3188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: That honest attitude is better than the thousands of spam posts you spread on: December 30, 2021, 11:37:13 PM
It's so rare to find someone like that who still has the kind of heart to return something that doesn't belong to him especially a large money. I think it's not about the rank or standing in the society that matters, if you have a kind heart you would have returned it back to rightfully owner. No need to boast if you are just a newbie or legendary since not everyone knew this forum and it's not just for BTC that has been lost that we could be thankful but for someone who could actually return something despite of this pandemic situation.
That is truly an amazing attitude of a person and that is too rare to find.
I may consider that as a gift if that will happen to me but of course, I do the same and I return it to the rightful owner. Because we are sure that it was important for him/her, and we don't have the right to spend it unless if literally it gives you but that was an accident.

All have the right to do it, it doesn't matter what rank we are in the forum but what matters is that we know ourselves that we are honest and have nothing to prove publicly.
3189  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: December 30, 2021, 11:04:39 PM
Very timely advice just that most persons would read them but wouldn't settle for what has been said here.
It's very know that this is a season where people spend unwisely without 2nd thoughts but but that shouldn't be heard of any investor because as an investor, they're levels to the things we should be capable of doing and spending on frivolities without thinking twice is one of the things we shouldn't be caught doing.

It's a season where many share love and that shouldn't stop anyone one from doing what they love best, beside one cannot work in the whole 365 days and not enjoy his fruitful investment, it's one thing to invest and is another to used them when you need them. I can't invest the whole my life, there is time to be serious, time to work, time to do family and there should be tlme to enjoy all the aforementioned.
Life is easy but sometimes, we make it hard, after all we will live them behind.
That is we have been practicing since before, we usually giving gifts to our friends and relatives, and even give to others as we shared our blessings and love. And for me, it wasn't a problem as long as we still have the money left for us and did not compromise our finances. It is all about sharing, and the more we do this, the more blessings to come back, at least I have this belief and I keep this one till forever.

Perhaps, we can bring these things for our whole life, at least if ever we die, these people can even remember our good deeds and can make them as a mirror as well.
3190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: December 30, 2021, 10:37:14 PM
When basic technologies such as AR and VR are not yet mature, are all the metaverse projects in the market a bubble?

Can $SAND $MANA still be invested?

If anything, Metaverse isn't a bubble at least not right now because plenty of work has gone into the Metaverse industry for a while now whether crypto or traditional Metaverse projects. While it hasn't gotten anywhere close to perfect yet, there's still a lot of promises for both VR, AR and even MR.

We're still at the early stages with Metaverse in crypto. I feel this trend will stay relevant for as long as possible considering Metaverse is considered the future of technology which is why top firms like Facebook are going balls deep into the space.
Well, it is just to hope that it was firm as it is. We may consider this as another blockchain development and think that other platforms will create after this. Nothing will last forever, this is what I take but at least we're given such an opportunity to make money from them. It is too early to make such a conclusion but I do believe that that will give us the benefit and so the developers to make money as well.

As we are in this early stage, we all become hopeful to see it succeed but not to give 100% that everything will work fine.
3191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Opinion on increasing gambling. on: December 30, 2021, 01:16:12 PM
It's not alarming because people just love to risk.

Gambling is for everyone, whatever your financial status, you can gamble.
With the advent of online gambling and people learning how to use crypto in gambling, it's always possible to see consistent growth, but overall it does not destroy like as long as the government is doing its job which is the regulate gambling sites and help people to educate themselves about the risk of gambling.

An increase of gamblers is good for the gambling industry, and with that happening, it also helps the government increase their tax revenue.
3192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 30, 2021, 12:31:41 PM
Wtf is that ? This is the latest post in Logan Pauls Instagram. I hope  the trick was not to create hype around Logan Paul vs Mike fight, replace it with KSI and keep all that traffic generated. Sadly, his followers are cheering for the fight against KSI, they really want to see that. I've scrolled down hundreds of comments, and haven't found any mention of Mike Tyson. Looks like his Instagram fans don't know he was to fight Mike.

At first, I really have a doubt that Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson will not happen because since that fight was announced, no official things related to the fight happened. Or maybe, it will happen but not on 1Q of 2022 as speculated.

I don't if that new banner will push but I guess that was more of a realistic thing to happen compared to a fight against Mike Tyson. It's just a few days to go so we will be able to witness it already if it's legit or not.

LOL, he followed what his brother did, they fight their old opponents as they don't think they can win against their current opponent. This fight was only interesting because of Mike Tyson, without him, it's just an ordinary exhibition fight that fans would not be interested in watching.
3193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to altcoins or switch to Bitcoin or stablecoins? on: December 29, 2021, 11:01:57 PM
It totally depends on your plan and your target. If you think the market will experience more drops, while your current assets look enough to take profits, why don't you convert to stable coins temporarily? Then, you can rebuy again some altcoins or even Bitcoin once there will be a huge dump/correction. But if you are already satisfied with your profits this season, kindly convert all your assets to fiats or stable coins. On the contrary, if your assets are already decreasing much, better to stay holding, and no need to convert to other coins. There is still an opportunity of the next pump although there is no guarantee it. DYOR/DWYOR

One strategy I use before is to convert my crypto to USDT once seeing the market is declining, which seems it works and saves me from losing. And re-invest once the market turns back high again. I believe this was a common practice to the majority and this genuine strategy will keep until forever. But of course, it was our own choice to which strategy we were able to use, holding/keeping your altcoins (even Bitcoin) is not a bad idea provided that you have the patience to wait until recovery comes otherwise, you may become tired and lose it.
3194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2earn games on: December 29, 2021, 10:32:13 PM
I have to imagine that one of the big themes for 2022 will be P2E gaming. We have progressed in cycles over the last decade from PC games, consoles games, mobile games, microtransaction games and now the next evolution seems like a move away from burning your own cash to pay for every little thing into P2E. We are a still a long way to go but over the next 2 years I’d imagine some very accelerated growth

I'm not sure but the pandemic might bring this one. Gaming developers make this chance to give a job the jobless people. Play2earn gaming platform gives them the chance to survive from the current situation and to guess who is benefiting from this? Both the developer and the gamers.

The Axie Infinity is an example of this, many people got the interest and put their money. They are making money, of course, and apparently happy with the result and many are going to follow. It is a thing to expect that more gaming sites will offer the same and adopt crypto in the coming years.
3195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: December 29, 2021, 12:42:20 PM
It's Mario Barrios, not Danilo Barrios. You must have confused the boxer Mario Barrios with the local actor and dancer Danilo. LOL. Grin
Haha, who said that mate.

He is Danilo Barriors for those who doesn't know.

ccto

Anyway, although it is possible that Thurman could score a knockout in this fight, Mario shouldn't be fazed with Thurman. Mario had just experienced his first loss, and a TKO at that, but he shouldn't allow it to get the better of him, emotionally and psychologically especially. It will only make him lose. Thurman is probably not going to be the Thurman before. He hadn't had a fight for almost 3 years.
Thurman is wiser now, I'm pretty sure he learned a lot from his fight against Pacman, and though he was inactive, I still think that he is a dangerous fighter and able to maintain his routine in boxing.
3196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: December 29, 2021, 12:00:17 PM

Yes, it was reported last time that Casimero's belt was stripped but it really did not happen, he still is the current champion and he is going to fight against his mandatory opponent, so this is exciting because if he wins this, we have Donaire/Casimero to fight Inoue.

If going to fight Butler will finally land him to fight no other than Inoue, then it's worth it and the fight is a good warp-up for him before facing the monster. most likely when this fight is finished, there will be no choice for Casimero but to fight him anyway, unless they don't really have the guts. That would be the most exciting fight in their division and will become a historical fight too. Nevertheless, he needs to beat Butler first and he also needs to take this fight seriously because if he lose, there are no reason for Inoue to fight him anymore.

Casimero would love to fight Inoue, he is calling Inoue consistently but it's just the camp of Inoue is not ready yet. If Casimero will beat Butler, then we will probably see a unification fight either a fight between Inoue/Donaire, or Inoue/Casimero... No more Casimero/Donaire because they are under one promotion company.
3197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7 NFL Players Who Chose Crypto over Cash on: December 28, 2021, 10:16:38 PM
Expected. But that's just 7 out of how many? Tom Brady has his purpose but if he can pull more NFL players into doing such a wild thing (for them) then it will all be good. Because next to it will be the fans who doesn't know about Bitcoin and will try to google what is it.
Some NBA players also did the same so I guess we will just need to wait for this to grow in numbers as time flies by. Good news, indeed.
They are still in small numbers who make decisions to adopt crypto but this will grow if the others see how good it was. They did this for some reason, one is to make additional income, 2nd is for promotion, and the last is adoption. As if they can prove that crypto is more beneficial with them than fiat, they will encourage others to do the same.

I see this as a stepping stone to make this crypto a currency alternative to fiat. It can never be widely used if nothing has to take the risk first and this group of people had made it right. What I'm just hoping for them is if they keep their crypto in a safe wallet.
3198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 28, 2021, 02:41:52 PM
<..>
Inoue vs Donaire is a good match if it will happen I think Donaire must focus on training so that he has a chance to win against the king of their division. Inoue must be careful also cause we all know that Donaire is a counter puncher.
Back to the topic about magsayo and Russell yes This is the big fight of Magsayo's career and they must be trained harder. In this fight I will bet magsayo too.

I remember watching Mark Magsayo's fight against Julio Ceja where the former landed a right hard punch on round 10 which sealed the deal and eventually won the entire fight. According to boxrec, Magsayo has an undefeated record of 23 wins. I do think that Gary Russell is a dangerous opponent given his destructive power, size, and speed on the ring.

There was this article that featured Magsayo, stating that this fight might be his biggest so far. Although I do fear for him, I am at full support towards this fight as I do believe that he will eventually come out as the winner at the end.

In a fight like this where a Filipino is a challenger for the championship, it's good to support and put our bet. I guess we all see how Magsayo adjusted in his previous fight, he did not get frustrated although his opponent is leading the scorecard, instead, he finds ways to make a convincing win and that is by knocking out his opponent. So, anything can happen in this fight, he might replicate that kind of victory although his opponent now is a champion.

Go with our "kabayan" no matter what the odds are. This is an opportunity for a Filipino fighter again to be a champion, and Magsayo has a shot in winning since his conditioning is very much efficient, he is actively fighting and now he is given a golden opportunity that he should not miss and has to win.
The odds are in favor of the Filipino boxer, no doubt for that. As he is able to win in his previous fight with a hard punch, no way that he can't make it the same for his next fight. If the time permits him to keep that winning streak continuing, that was a huge celebration.
Well, we can't just underestimate his opponent as being a champion is hard to deal and of course, he doesn't want to lose also and so he keeps proving himself until he could and give the best shoot.
No, bookies will not give that to Magsayo, the odds will always favor Gary Russell because he is the champion and Magsayo is just the challenger. Odds in gambling sites are more reliable than our individual's opinion because it's created by expert and it's not biased. However, to confirm all my statement, we can wait for the odds to be out probably early next year.
3199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 28, 2021, 02:29:16 PM
This kinds of fights are nonsense or purpose for me. How can you enjoy a fight of an old fighter at age of 55 years against a young youtuber that just gives a bad reputation to of them. It's more like a money collecting for those who gonna watch and pay for the tickets and those who gonna really put their money on some of them. Knowing for sure the results are already organized.
I don't believe that mike tyson can take it to more than 2 rounds if they really play fairly. He's old and also taking drugs. This fight should be illegal.

I also dont like fight like that, but this exhibition fight can be last chance to see Iron Mike in the ring and in action. To me this is like going on a Metallica concert these days. You dont expect as much drive as they used to give on their concerts, you dont expect the concert to be in same tempo as it used to be 10-20 years ago, you dont expect that they will play all the songs you like, or James will sing all of them and Kirk would play long solos as he used to. You just go there, see your favourite band, listen songs as close as possible to original and go home happy.
Don't say that it's the last chance because Mike Tyson is already active in exhibition fight, IIRC, he already fought twice this year, the last one with Roy Jones Jr. but unfortunately the fight ended up in a draw although many believe that Mike Tyson won that fight. Well, he is old already and his time is on the sunset which delivering a close/strong fight can be hard and seem impossible for him. But at least, he still has the spirit.
3200  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Kiyosaki expects a market crash and economic crisis - do you believe it? on: December 28, 2021, 02:06:13 PM
A new economic crash is not a new idea. Economists have been saying for years that we are due for another big one. However, even though some models and calculations do predict crashes and a market correction (not just in crypto but in general),  but we have been able to avoid one when we were the most susceptible to it when the pandemic started. Now that we have more or less managed to fine-tune our economy towards it working during the pandemic, I wonder what kind of trigger would it take to cause a collapse. Not saying it won't happen, just wondering what will it take, since the pandemic was not enough.
Robert Kiyosaki is a known economist and a business person and has some expertise when talking about the market condition somewhat in the future. But it doesn't mean that he is all be gonna right about his insights and predictions, it possible he can be wrong as the market will change from time to time.

But, we can't just set aside that he might be right. Well, there is nothing wrong to believe him or ignore him. It was our discretion anyway but for me, I have to prepare for it than do nothing.
