3181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Sushi is Noodle on: September 09, 2020, 07:20:44 AM
Oh my.. here we go. Another defi dishes. Sushi, Noodle, Ramen, Laksa, Udon.. You can name it.
I can't believe why binance listed that sushi dishes in their platform, and can't more believe there will be another dishes in defi.

Are binance really searching for a project before they listed it or they are now looking also for money for adopting many defi  project to list in them?

Not good a sign for a good exchange if this many defi project failed it will also affect the reputation of exchange if they plan a to list a tokens without reviewing it.

As long as they pay. It will be their problem in the long run when their reputation suddenly goes down.
I think they are still looking at the projects or more like just browsing them.
Because of the hype that is happening this will be a lot of profits for them.
Maybe bulk projects are coming in that is why Binance researchers won't have much time to look deeper.
Browse and list.  Grin

The chance is too slim not unless overtime may happen very low scoring from both teams.

Same reason for me.
I always go for over when I see totals below 220+. They lose.
Then, when I go the other way an overtime will happen.  Cry

Whoever bet for Lebron James making 4 blocks is a big winner now.  Grin If that is available.
They played real defense, I love it.

Bye Bucks. I think there will be an overhaul with this team.
Miami though, they are like a Houston team just better with a Herro and BAM! After 6 years, back to the East Finals.
3183  Economy / Economics / Re: Our chance to reset on: September 08, 2020, 06:29:51 PM
Responsibility and discipline. That might be the best words to describe how a country could flourish again post-Covid-19.
We don't exactly know if the virus will remain, I bet it will.
So discipline is first using masks and distance to people for like a year or two even if the health offices announced the virus is out.

Responsibility. A government will not work without its people paying taxes.
We work again to make it better putting selfishness aside.
All of this ain't for us but for our kids and their soon to be kids.
3184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 08, 2020, 02:52:46 PM
Yeah, I am also with all of you betting for Los Angeles Sparks.
Oops, WNBA.  Grin

So Heat is now the favorite considering they are less Giannis.
It's still questionable according to my recent read.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/giannis-antetokounmpo-injury-update-bucks-star-questionable-for-game-5-on-tuesday-per-report/
If there is an update please share. Thank you.

My pick: Underdogs
Bucks ML
Houston ML

I'll stop for over and under for now.
3185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No hype is good on: September 08, 2020, 08:48:27 AM
Sustaining it.
It could be the problem behind it.

They create hypes (I saw Binance was hyped at start too) or they are hyped in social media by investors.
But how can they make it last? Most of the ICO before stopped after making lots of money.
We could probably conclude that money shines better than service.  Grin

I finally broke my losing streak jinx, thank to @stadus for the -5.5 Lakers pick yesterday

We did and now I am back to the start that might become a losing streak again.  Grin
You won if you bet for the Clippers while my emotions didn't win as a fan.

Dang! That was cool. Green colors are really soothing in our eyes.  Cheesy
I have tried that once but I can't win there.
I might try again as this inspired me.
3187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 07, 2020, 05:18:27 PM
I do not care if Giannis is better, they should not play him at all. Think about it, they are going to have to resign Giannis this year and they are 3-1 losing right now, making him play through injury could mean he could hurt himself more, and even without injury he had to leave the court which means it is not nothing, even if a small thing it is something and they are going to end up losing anyway, no team has managed to come from 3-0 down to win a series, and Bucks do not have what it takes to be the first one neither.

So, sitting down Giannis whatever the result is a good idea. Obviously they still have to figure a lot of stuff out, why did they look so awesome but ended up losing to Miami is a big question, they should have been sweeping them when you look at the regular season situation.

Not like what happened to Durant, I hope.
Let the role players do their job.
They can play harder. It is just because Giannis is there they are pulling back their skills. We saw it, they can win it.
Middleton posed like he is a real All-Star. That should have been happening from the start and not just now.

I might bet for the Bucks without Giannis next game. I want to cheer for the Bucks roleplayers.  Cheesy
3188  Economy / Economics / Re: Can legalisation of Cannabis help US economy? on: September 07, 2020, 03:46:03 PM
Drug prohibition in general is just a way for most governments to prosecute the poor - if you're rich enough you're getting a drug dealer to come near your land: you're not meeting them in an alleyway somewhere. I think weed is much safer than cigsrretes too - and it smells nicer.
I agree.  Cheesy
I like the smell of it rather than the irritating cigarette smoke.

I don't really know why they are taking long talking about it.
That damn weed is medicinal and it's pure. While with cigarettes they put so many chemicals that you won't even recognize if there is still tobacco there.
Just like vape, are the big tobacco companies behind the slow approval?
Maybe. 70 percent.
3189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 07, 2020, 01:52:38 PM
Any takers for the Nuggets ML here? do you think the way I do?
I will take Nuggets ML later. Maybe just single with a price boost.
Other bets.
TOR vs BOS over 212.5
DEN vs LAC under 219.5

I think that is the safest for now. The Raptors vs Celtics game is unpredictable. It's difficult to choose the winner between the two.
With Nuggets, sorry emotions are included in it as a fan.  Grin
3190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not so far from getting BTC globally accepted! Pornhub now accepts BTC & LTC. ;) on: September 07, 2020, 11:34:26 AM
Some people may think that this is bad news but no its not.
As long as bitcoin is moving it doesn't matter where it came from. Well, USD was also moving thanks to illegal transactions out there. Name it, drugs, weapons, child pornography. They mostly accept USD first.  Grin ("You pay with dollars?")

I like to compare this with a monthly premium of an MMORPG. You are not forced to buy the premium and you can still play but you need it to keep up with the strongest.
In Pornhub, I think premiums are for better videos. Right?
Lots of money will come in because of premium sexual urgency.  Grin
3191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you need a coin that does not have negative volatility? on: September 07, 2020, 10:12:36 AM
If you meant about less volatility and it's actually possible to happen as long as the coin was a bad coin and that means there will be no a lot of demand to buy such coin caused by people have known that as crap coins and no more. That will make such crypto will have no volatility consider the demand will be almost zero.

I can't understand properly about negative volatility means but for it it's about less volatile.

I think that's what he meant by "negative volatility".
It will still move, but less. More like a stable coin. But as he said, it will not be like that.
Cannot compare it with XRP too since it's volatile.

It is possible but I do think it's because there is manipulation behind the scenes.
3192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 07, 2020, 06:20:43 AM
Finally, I am out of the losing streak again.  Grin
I thought I was going to lose that Bucks game since I didn't put any handicap.
But yeah, that was a great game.
They played harder Giannis-less on 2nd half.

Tyler Herro can be the next "The Answer".  Wink

Oh man! I didn't finally bet on the overs  Cheesy

So, i'm still without a win from 6 bets, Can I make it to 10 Huh
Tomorrow games might be a low scoring game again with so much defense. C'mon, you can get it back.
3193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: September 06, 2020, 06:24:58 PM
Updated the table.
For now positive growth in bitcoin investment is continuing and my share in the bankroll didn't change much.
The actual profit after 3 months is $17.34, without counting the additional $19 gained from the rise of the bitcoin price from the initial investment. So $36.34 from $121.7 looks good (+29.8%) Wink

Your numbers are looking great and of course, so does mine.
It went down a bit last time we discussed it at Yatsan's thread. But, the good thing is we don't see it falling like last month.

I am also at 12 percent, 12.8509% to be accurate. Our share in the bankroll grew a lot though.
Does that mean some of the investors are already out?
3194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 06, 2020, 05:18:55 PM
Bucks has to keep Giannis no matter what, the moment Giannis is gone, they are not going to be like Raptors they are going to be like Cavs. Raptors still has Lowry, Siakam and even OG there with all other role players too (like gasol and ibaka) so they are not bad at all, who could be like that for Bucks? Middleton? I do not think so. They have to do whatever they can to keep him and give him whatever he wants, bring in all of his brothers if you can, dude is just way too important, they could never have anyone similar talent again for a long time.

However if he leaves, that means there is a question of where he will go and that could change NBA for a long time. If he leaves to an already good team, that would really result with NBA parity to be gone again and that team to be champions back to back for a while like how GSW were when they got Durant.

True.
I doubt the Bucks will let him go.
They might even offer something better just for him.

He is still young. A lot of opportunities for him. But, if I am Giannis I will also be devastated with what is happening.
From being on top and now a possible sweep. That should not happen.
I bet he is also thinking to talk with the management bringing good players around him.
3195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What advice will you give to a beginner trader? on: September 06, 2020, 03:04:03 PM
$500 is a large start.
I started with just $100.  Grin Just to try it out.

At first, I was good at it. Beginners luck maybe.
In the long run, profits get cold.
I think what you need is patience here. Don't try to be greedy or you will end up with most of the starters out there.
Rushing to make profits and making bad decisions.
3196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 06, 2020, 12:18:46 PM
Been away for a week as I have traveled, but today I'm back and I'm starting to bet again.

What's your pick on the games tomorrow guys?

I like the Heat to finish the bucks, so I'll get HEAT -2, I'm confident with this. (usually I lose when I'm confident)>

So that is why I don't see any updates from you.
Nice to see you back stadus.

Lakers still the favorite. Or, they know Lakers will win this one.
The only question is if putting that handicap is the best idea.  Grin
Yes, it is.
Lakers -5.5
Bucks ML

Sorry, I am going against the flow. I still believe in Bucks. At least not a sweep.

3197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance in trouble over listing scam defi token on: September 06, 2020, 07:20:32 AM
They might be the biggest exchange but that doesn't mean we always trust what they will list there.
It is also our job to look deeper if the coin will have a good product or end up in the sewers.
Besides, it is our money that is on the line and not Binance.

I don't think they will be in trouble for this.
They might battle it with a disclaimer just like that tweet.

OMG!
This really hurt my insides.

It's like a liver punch from Manny Pacquiao.

My knees are on the floor with so much pain.  Cry
I puked then I cried.
3199  Economy / Economics / Re: PornHub now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin (News coincides with BTC decline?) on: September 05, 2020, 05:46:43 PM
Also, I could swear Pornhub already accepted bitcoin.  Maybe it was some other porn service--my memory of such things isn't all that sharp since I detest pornography.

I am also thinking about that.
I might have seen it once somewhere but I can't remember where. Months or maybe a year ago IIRC.
(don't want to dig or I will get a beating from my wife when she look at search history.)  Grin
That is why this news ain't so new to me anymore.

Anyway, I doubt that huge amount of dump just came from this.
It must be something else.
3200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 05, 2020, 03:44:10 PM

Swept Bucks? What do you think?

I think they will be swept and Giannis will win the MVP and probably the Defensive Player of the Year award.

But this guy does not deserve anymore in the Bucks, he needs to pair with a superstar for him to at least have a chance of a ring.

What I think he needs is more shooters surrounding him.
He can absorb the defense whenever he penetrates and that opens up a lot of 3 point shooters.
A sharpshooter is required to make the Bucks stronger.

I am betting for Nuggets again. It's like the Mavs team for me.  Grin
Nuggets ML and Celtics vs Raptors over 214.5.
