You forgot death, blood and suffering. :-/
Yeah - that as well ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Better get one of these.

Chinese stock markets getting pounded. Dow will be next. Bitcoin and Dash getting bounces.
Europe currently in full tanking mode. They had to close the Chinese market this morning to stop it from selling off. The Road Ahead: Fed raise rates --> tank emerging markets --> tank european markets --> tank US markets --> recession --> massive deflation --> unsustainable sovereign debt-to-GDP ratios --> defaults --> Central Banks: oops, better print more cash --> massive inflation --> currency confidence crisis --> monetary collapse --> IMF: it's ok, we've got a standby world currency called " Special Drawing Rights", lets everybody use that --> reset --> one world currency. Bewildered public who lost all their money: "You 'bar-stewards'. That was the plan all along ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) ". SDR: A co-operative tri-partheid project by Christine, Janet, Barrak and the Chinese. The IMF is brokering the new currency, the Chinese are capitalising it and the US (globalist lobby) are taking care of detonating the legacy ship with perfect timing to push people into the SDR lifeboat ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Dash is a total failure when it comes to brand recognition even way worse than Goldcoin I doubt it. Just because you Googled and trawled up a pile of brands from all sorts of trading sectors doesn't mean you can't do that with almost any other brand - even in the crypto space. In fact, all those comparisons do is to show how successful it's been in acquiring such a coveted identity and deploy it within the crypto space. dash.org ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FXCdRlr8.jpg&t=663&c=ecu3svvYwaA6pg) P.S....and those are just from one country alone ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Sold the last of my dash today. I have about 600 left after I sold last week. I hope it goes down now so I can get back more coins.
Out of interest, why did you pick now to sell, right at the end of the 4-hour correction when the sell-off momentum has almost completed its cycle and is now threatening to cross back over to the upside ? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fbc5DVTs.png&t=663&c=7gjYBH1chwSUEQ)

I said I liked that design but got me post deleted by mods.

3 times DASH there, bit too much for me :-) +1. I think that one looks great without the top and bottom banners. The less the better IMO. Also, the "Dash+InstantX=Refreshment" is great. Very readable and impactive but in a friendly way. The one with the cans is more beautiful and dreamy but this one really works as a message I think (without the redundant top and bottom banners that is ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) P.S. I like Design 1 much more - too many colours in the other one. The blue shades is cool.

Just don't look too close (by clicking on the picture and zooming in) if you're sensitive about your "other" coin ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) LOL ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I think you're safe enough. The children are all asleep or playing with their iPhones ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

If we are talking about active peering nodes that have connections open this site counts them as:....As we can see in terms of active nodes Dash is the only network comparable to Bitcoin and way ahead of Litecoin. Thanks ! I've corrected my post as you requested.

|

Ah. Thanks. I didn't realise that site did all the alts as well.
|
|

Also did you have the number of MasterNode on the 1st Jan 2015 in comparasion with today 1st Jan 2016 : 3425 ? This also show strong support from comunity/users.
Looks like it was around 1500 according to this so it's more than doubled. b.t.w. where can we monitor Dash network total full nodes ?

It is now exactly 1 year since I set up my first masternode. These have kept on coming all year... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FIJdmHRE.png&t=663&c=CjK1nkTHglmQgg) ...and during that time Dash has gained around 30% on BTC which in turn gained around 70% on the US Dollar. So I'm saying 2015 worked out as far as that one goes. (Sure did better than oil anyway ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) )

DASH has solved this major flaw in Bitcoin...
I wouldn't call that a "flaw". I'd just say it was a deficiency when it comes to implementing cash on an electronic platform.

A mew thread about Dash's launch ? How quaint. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

x/dark/dash was never about privacy or instant transactions or distributed consensus Oh really ? I've been following this project for almost a year and a half now and as far as I can see that's ALL it's about. The dev team to little else than pursue those precise technical objectives to the exclusion of almost all other priorities. Maybe you just haven't noticed.

Markets requiring more liquidity and there's only 1 way to get it: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fkcupyir.png&t=663&c=hZXftwH2J6NuLg)

Looks like the long down trend has finally reversed. Good to see the move and excellent progress.
Dual market interplay causing low liquidity snapback at the slightest smidgen of demand. You mean it all goes flooding back into bitcoin as soon as bitcoin starts rising?? I thought we were simply being pumped? No. I mean that the low price never was realistic because there was no significant liquidity available at those levels. As soon as there's the slightest requirement for liquidity in Dash's currency market (as opposed to its reserve market) a more authentic valuation presents itself. Compare with, say lightcoin, where there is lots of liquidity at and around the trading price.

What happens at the moment is that in the case of fraud there is always some legal recourse for the victim since even a vending machine is representing a legal entity in the sale. Maybe vending machines could transmit an identity hash/signature which replaces this in a decentralised environment so that the wallet can verify its authenticity.

The amount to pay appears on your phone and then you have a pin to type in. But I know what you mean. The freedom and flexibility of non-coined cash brings power but a lot of challenges. Thats one of the things I like about DAPI. DAPI is a godsend for a crypto because it allows wallet software and payment devices to implement the 'intelligence' needed to really make commercial payments practical. For example it can support a meta payment layer than allows the wallet to interrogate the vendor for security or contextual information and therefore provide some protection to the user. All sorts of commercial level protocols could run on that layer that have nothing to do with the blockchain but that support the payment process all the same. (For example sending the change address as I described earlier or making the wallet aware that it's a low value, qutomated vendor).

But, considering the qr code has the price embedded, this was more experimental than practical. The necessity of change from a vending machine is an artifact of fiat denominations that don't really apply anymore (tee hee). Indeed. Thats why I think you should probably forget about it since it detracts from some if the great strengths of your demo, namely that: [1] - expensive physical sensors for coinage are a thing of the past [2] - coin-denominated money is a thing of the past [3] - cash transactions can now be trust free and loss free Of course, you've also got to look out for the "other side of the coin", i.e. There nothing to stop a rogue vending machine from charging you $10,000 for a coke and the user not noticing. Maybe thats the bigger challenge than sending change. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
