3181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTX became the second Luna? on: November 09, 2022, 10:47:55 PM
The market showed how it's very affected by this. We're down and saw a new bottom for bitcoin and this is now opening the idea that it could have another bottom.

The exchange itself is the problem and that's FTX.

Their liquidity is being controlled and that's not looking good on their side and very likely that it'll take time for them to be trusted again by most retail traders and investors.

And CZ and Binance bailing out in the last minute, not good and that's why we hit another bottom again.

But we can't blame CZ here, well you can say that he played us, but what can he do if the FTX guy mismanage everything. And then there is the regulators coming on their way. So CZ has no choice but to get out of the supposedly buying of FTX to help and salvage it because it doesn't have any funds. It's beyond Binance ability to help and all the blame should go to go FTX.

Scary times indeed, but we need to be mentally tough in this situation and not to sell our bitcoin or any other assets.
3182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto dump is just getting started? on: November 09, 2022, 10:29:35 PM
And there you have it, officially the dump is still ongoing, going as low as $15k already, so that is huge, we thought that the lowest low for this year is $17,500 and yet we have a new surprised thanks to FTX.

And a lot of meme's going on right now, hehehe, but it is what it is, we need to stomach everything. Yes, not the first time that this had happened to us.

The news is that the deal has fallen between CZ and FTX, causing a huge ripple on the market today.

I don't think though that those who still have funds in FTX can withdraw, I have the feeling that it's all gone that's why CZ doesn't want to messed it up.
3183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: November 09, 2022, 10:10:18 PM
Out of nowhere the name David Avanesyan came. This is one lucky guy. Even if he is defeated in this match, which is most likely to happen, he will definitely cherish the moment that he is facing against the great Terence Crawford. He'll be proud of this for the rest of his life. Of course he could even be the luckiest man if he upsets Crawford. But looking at the odds, it seems nobody is really expecting him to win. He's got 7.00 against Crawford's 1.07.
I don't think he's lucky Cheesy it looks like this fight happen because Crawford cherry pick Avanesyan, not Avanesyan itself who want to have a fight with Crawford. This can be an excuse for Crawford to not fight with Spence, I don't know if their fight (Crawford vs Spence) is postponed or cancelled, but if their fight will happen in the future, Crawford is the one who will in trouble since he's not young anymore. He's currently 35 years old, while Spence is 32 years old.

Then Avanesyan is therefore luckier. If he is not the one who is trying hard looking for ways to fight the popular and talented Crawford, then it is opportunity that is knocking on his door. He is the luckiest man. Others at his level could only dream of it. Now he is sharing the limelight with one of the best pound for pound boxers of his time.

As the saying goes, it's better to be lucky than good (although David has a good record). But I guess as you described it, he was lucky enough to be pick by Crawford for his next fight.

I think Crawford is the one who's more eager to face Spence. It's just that there were problems along the way. I cannot find any reason why Crawford would go for one Avanesyan than Spence.

It's because he has been criticized before for facing B-level fighter. So steps up the plate, fight Porter and beat him bad. Now, it's time for unification fight with Spence as it is brewing for years already. Unfortunately, the fight is not going to happen now, to many conflicting reports. But at least Crawford has tell his side of the story, and Crawford is silent about it.

But in any case someone is interested, both of them are going back in forth in their social media:

3184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 09, 2022, 09:51:34 PM
With all the drama surrounding Kyrie Irving, I wonder if tonight might be a good night to bet on the Knicks to upset the Nets?  Then there's also Kevin Durant who can singlehandedly carry his team to a win on any given night.  Still, if I were ever going to bet on the Knicks taking down the new look Nets, I think tonight would be the night.  Not feeling confident enough to put any of my own money on the line for that feeling, but still I wonder if anyone else is willing to take that bet...  Any Knicks fans in here feeling good about tonight?

To be honest, I'm not feeling that vibe, The Nets still have one of the best player we have in Kyrie, so nah, I wouldn't go against them in this game.

Besides, the Knicks are just on/off right now, and it up to what version they are going to show up in this game. However, this is a rivalry, so I doubt that Durant will let this one slip away. So I wouldn't put my money on the Knicks, on the contrary, -3.5 for the Nets in this game.
3185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 09, 2022, 09:29:33 PM
Some gamblers keep their gambling activities secrete from people they have close relationship with. Having it in mind that if these people know they are gamblers,it might bring down their reputation or make them look wasteful. I hide my gambling activities from my Mom the reason is that she hates gamblers and calls them irresponsible people from her own perspective.

Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.

If there are persons that I don't want to keep my gambling secret, that is my children. Obviously, I don't want to influence them to be a gambler when they grow up. Even during the time that I worked, there are some of my office mates that know that I go to casino or even bet on cockfighting (but not my boss).

But with the advent of crypto base casinos, I think everyone now can hide their gambling, because we can just play in the comfort of our room at night without anyone noticing us. It might be good or bad for some though, but still there are ways for us now not to exposed our gambling activities.
3186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: November 09, 2022, 09:10:42 PM
After the year-long negotiation, the fight will not push through at all, now all I see in my sports feed are blaming, both parties are resorting to blaming each other, of course, they don't want to get the ire of the boxing community, who expect them to finalize the deal and sign up the contract, they hated each other before the negotiation, they hated each other even more.

They already got the ire of the boxing community, for not delivering the fight that we wanted. And instead, they for sure are going on separate ways, Crawford has a schedule fight already this December.

And for sure, Spence will have too early next year, it is reported that Thurman will be next.

But the camp of Vergil Ortiz is lobbying WBC right now to have a title eliminator between Ortiz and Thurman.

So lets see if WBC will order a mandatory eliminator fight between the two or if Spence is willing to lay his belt on the winner for next year.
3187  Economy / Gambling / Re: Haha EDDIE and TEHRANI from STAKE being sued on: November 09, 2022, 08:51:17 PM

I don't know why there is a HAHA on the title, it's the first time I stumble on a thread with the word HAHA I don't see any victory here it's just a court case, and all companies and partnerships experience this, not only Stake.com I don't see a victory with just a court case, you get your HAHA if Stake losses the case.

Perhaps there is sarcasm on his part, or he doesn't like Stake at all and just happy that it was being hit by a former associate and "friend".

In any case though, this has been discussed in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5412087.0

So no need for the OP to create a new one. Or better yet, we should tell him to used the search button first before opening a new thread?
3188  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 09, 2022, 08:26:48 PM
Has Stake been hacked? I received what looks to be a valid email from noreply@stake.com (email headers match - it's not simple spoofing), with the subject "Stake: Welcome to the new VIP program!" and a body offering more bonuses. Clicking the link, I get redirected to http://sso-stake.com, which is currently offline and definitely doesn't look like an official Stake domain. The domain was just registered today going off of whois records, so I suspect whatever platform Stake uses for email marketing might have been hacked and used for a phishing campaign.
They just posted this phishing warning few minutes ago to their telegram group.

Thanks for staying vigilant. I am paranoid enough to always check urls from anywhere i get them but getting post from correct email might fool people easily.

But correct me if i am wrong but Email spoofing doesn't need hacking the site to work afaik.
As we can see Team Stake is working quickly to resolve this issue, I've also seen that announcement on their official telegram channel giving a notification about this issue, I also got an email but not sure to click on it

Yes, I also got the same message in Telegram and they said that they are working with it.

And also the email system was down, I try to withdraw a couple of hours ago, didn't get the unique withdrawal code. But after some time, their was a message from the live support (as I have ping them), that everything is normal now. So I try to withdraw again and it went it in. So just be careful about those emails that we are getting right now, there are lot designed to steal from us.
3189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling today and lesson i learnt on: November 09, 2022, 02:26:55 PM
The thread is not to ask sympathy but to share lesson i learnt from gambling such as you can gain from it something.

I learn not to play roullete frequently.

Make your money and leave.

For example come to a roullete game with 1000 usd try to mmake 5000 usd in 3 minutrs and leave.

Or better yet, just play roulette and just have some fun, I also play roulette a lot in land base casinos, and just like you I win some and lose some.

When you play witj self doubts and when you are pessimsitic you more likely to lose. Again energy manifest so know when to stop.

Dont be depended on the casino for your income. Me fot example lost 2000 usd today but ill get it in 7bdays max from my work. Is not my life saving.

Of course, not sure how can be anyone here to be dependent on gambling as a means to an end. Good for you if you can earn $2k per week. But majority of us here are not that lucky to have that kind of money.

Good luck though, it seems that you are going to continue to gamble and hopefully you can win big again.
3190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can roullete be rigged? on: November 09, 2022, 01:24:19 PM
Again, I mentioned before that roulette can be intentional or not-intentional being rigged by casinos. You can find a machine that is biased for certain numbers, but it's that because of how the machines are set up by the casinos themselves without knowing that is is not balance, hence it is biased due to some  imperfections.

On the other hand, if they know this before hand, then obviously, they can set it up to trap gamblers and give them more house edge. But that is hard to proved, unless you will do what they call clocking, wherein putting hours after hours of recording the winning numbers.
3191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 09, 2022, 12:50:33 PM
As per WBC:

Quote
The WBC stands firm on its previous order to not sanction any fights taking place in Russia or Belarus.

That ruling has now extended down to the fighters who hail from and proudly represent either nation.

All fighters from Russia and Belarus are being removed from the WBC rankings. The WBC will not sanction fights in those two countries and no national citizen from those two countries can compete for a WBC championship title.

https://www.boxingscene.com/wbc-remove-all-boxers-from-russia-belarus-from-its-rankings-policy-exceptions-explained--170317

Well as much as we don't like politics and sports being mixed up, unfortunately, Russian boxers are now being sanctioned by WBC with few exceptions. So it will be tough being a Russian in today's boxing and this is because of the consequences of the war.

Pero bawi sa games, ang daming laro bukas eh ang hirap mamili. Nag parlay lang ako tapos kinuha ko ang

3193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing $350,000 because of a friend, what would you do? on: November 07, 2022, 11:30:07 PM
He particularly chose Black 15 for $10K on roulette which he could have won $350,000 but a friend took the $10K and replace a safer bet. I know this is likely not to happen in real life. But let's say it did. What would you do?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT4GcK6Dpkk
I was trying to look for Kevin Hart movies on Netflix so I found one. Turns out one scene is an unsatisfying win.

Let's assume for argument sake.

In any case though, this bet could be voided by the dealer because it was touch by someone other than the bettor himself. He could have called it before calling "no bets". Ok, if the dealer allows it, obviously, he has to pay only $35k. Now the problems arises between these friends, I haven't seen the movie, but it real life, this could be trouble though and maybe some physical altercations between them. For me of course, going to be very difficult as I supposed to win $350k and probably give everyone a big tip, but I have to think about it and maybe I will forgive my friend after sometime. It's just money anyways, for sure if you can bet $10k, probably you can make more money in the future, just saying. But the friendship can't be replace.
3194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 07, 2022, 11:07:29 PM
I guess the one that is going to adjust here is the gamblers themselves, I know, it's going to be mentally tough specially if you have just withdrawn from gambling and suddenly you find ads that might entice you. But if you are really that strong psychologically, this will be a big test for you whether you can withstand that temptation or not. As you have compare it to any other form of addiction, people can quit and won't relapse, it's all on the mind. On the contrary, maybe it's better if you keep yourself away from computer and internet will you recover. There are so many things that can keep you busy. Or just limit yourself per day probably just to check your emails and some important stuff, not to surf around.
3195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History of Bingo on: November 07, 2022, 10:17:27 PM
Not sure though if there is a casino that listed bingo in their platform.

But here in our country, bingo games is very popular as it is being played when there is like a an event with festivities (fiesta). Yes, another kind of games that is so fun and exciting specially during last games that we call "blackout" wherein you have to marked all the numbers in your cards.

I'm not a fan of this game though to be honest.  Grin
3196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 07, 2022, 09:58:01 PM
But before that, the next big fight in Boxing will be on December 23, and it is the Fury vs. Chisora fight Location will be in Tottenham, London, England, I think this is an awaited event because it is Tyson Fury, and under the card was a regular Heavyweight fight the co-main Daniel Dubois VS Kevin Lerena fight with the EBU European Lightweight Title belt fight Yvan Mendy VS Denis Berinchyk fight and lastly EBU European Light Heavyweight Title belt fight Callum Johnson VS Thomas Faure, I guess there are many title fights in just one event, that is coming this December,

The fight between Tyson Fury and Chisora isn't that attractive.  It looks like Fury just nitpicked Chisora so that he can earn money without any high risk of losing.  If we look at Chisora's record, 12 losses  where two of them is comig from Fury, so this coming fight would possibly be the third losses of Chisora to Fury (2014-11-29 and 2011-07-23)[1].

Yes, it was a obvious cherry pick fight for Tyson Fury. First, he said that he wanted to fight Usyk, but Usyk said he is not available obviously, he need to his body to heal and rest and the best option for him is next year at his home country. And then he calls Joshua out, for all British Heavyweight showdown, seems they are on the negotiation table, then suddenly it went South. And then they blame each other for the failed fight. And suddenly he announced that we will have a fight with Chisora. A fighter that he already beaten twice. So it doesn't make sense for his fans, but it's a get busy fight for him, so that he will remain active come next year.
3197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 07, 2022, 09:37:18 PM
Hi all - so I have been playing at smaller crypto casino for a few years now. They have a TRX site and a USDT site. I have always played at the TRX site and have always had no issues with withdrawals etc. (Largest was around $26K USD)

I've started playing the USDT side recently and a week ago won $128K USD playing a few different Habanero and CQ9 games. I am waiting just over a week now with the casino telling me they are waiting for a verification report from the game provider and then they'll release my funds.

Not gonna lie I am getting worried and wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience or may have some insight. Thanks in advance!!

Not to burst the bubble for you, we have heard similar stories, and they are all here in this board,  Scam Accusations.

I'm not saying to create one, although there could be accusations on casinos, some of them payed right away if their fraud department determining that the player won without taking advantage of the casinos, in short it was clean.

So in your case if you think you won fairly then all you have to do is wait for them to release the winnings to you.
3198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 07, 2022, 09:22:41 PM
So, this match is just a month and a few days to wait. And this match is already booked in Duelbits and look at high the odds are.
1.02 for Naoya and 11.00 for Butler. Well, just like what the crowd is talking about Naoya who's going to win this match but if you're a gambler and you believe on some lucky punch of Butler, this is going to take a lot of risk if you're going to bet with such amounts.

The odds were already available early but if only the ML odds are out for now, it's not attractive for bettors as no one would bet on Inoue with an odds of 1.02, that was insane, although he will likely win, but would your risk with that 1.02? I guess we should wait for more alternatives.

No, even if you bet huge amount of money at 1.02 odds, the returns is going to be small.

It's probably be better to bet on the over and under round, most probably bookies might set it around 7.5. Although the under 7.5 might be around 1.5 I reckon, so still not that huge odd but still better if we compare it to the ML. Definitely the over might be higher, but with Inoue's record of breaking his opponent at under 6 rounds, it could be tempting but the risk is higher.
3199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 07, 2022, 01:06:05 PM
I think long term. Investing now in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency can be a life changing decision because of the underlying blockchain technology that makes this possible which can help you make money online even if you don't have any technical skills.

Everybody can make money online, with or without bitcoin, it's that crypto or at least bitcoin can give someone a huge profit, but you have to accumulate and hold long term and that's what makes it more difficult here. It's because of the mental aspect. In also involved that you have the psychological ability not to sell too early or to late in order to maximize your profits here.

The cryptocurrency market has experienced a lot of fluctuation over the past year or so. If you are looking for profit, this is undoubtedly the right time to start your investment in Bitcoin and others.

Yes and that's what separate crypto to the rest of financial markets. It's so volatile, but you can take advantage of it as what daily traders is doing. But for the majority, just a simple strategy of buying cheap bitcoin and accumulate over the years.

Today i was in colombia lost 1.4 million pesos
Even lucky people like me got it wrong sometime

I plan to revenge and withdrawed 1000 usd from my bank to make big bets and beat them.

When i cane back they  closesd he casino they lucky to close before i play again i had all my adrelaine and mood to win and bankrupt them.
Tomorrow i visit them again and take what is mine.

Btw i recover most  on the funds with bc.game today but i want revenge on this casino phyisical casino.

Ok, it seems that you are posting some big wins lately, unfortunately, I think this is the first time that he has lost big. And so just like the usual mentality of gamblers, we wanted to get revenge and recoup what we have lost.

Anyhow, it's weird though that the physical casinos is closed, usually it runs 24x7, even brick and mortar casinos in our place.

Nevertheless, goodluck, I doubt though that you can bankrupt the physical casino, if they see you winning big then maybe they might kick you out for making a lot of money.
