Here are some ideas for you on how to build your portfolio, ideally you buy them when they sell off.
1. Some BTC is a must, this is the crypto reserve asset. After this there are themes that are worth investing
2. Platform coins - pick a mix of Stratis, Lisk, Next/Ardor, Waves, ETH
3. Franchise coins - these are coins with a large community or unique technology or both, mix of Dash, Factom, NEM, Litecoin, Steem, Dogecoin
4. Privacy coins - pick a mix of Monero, Zcash, Zencash, Verge, DigitalNote. Monero probably has the best technology
5. High Flyers - these are low priced coins based on market cap which are deeply speculative such as 1337, LiteDoge. Linda, Netko, Acoin
I am not a fan of ICOs, don't own a single one in my portfolio of over 40 coins.
I like how you pick coins but you should add ZCoin at privacy coins  pretty unique Yes. I was thinking Zcoin and Viacoin for privacy. Adding Esper to the High Flyers would be an interesting mix |

NEM is one coin you need to keep an eye on, you'll regret it if you don't invest in that coin. But if you have the budget to invest on altcoins, it is actually much safer to divide your capital to the coins you think are best to invest on after August 1, choose at least four of the best coins so far so when one goes down you still have three more coins that have chances to increase.

Who invested in this altcoin?
I think that it has the potential to rise back up again (It has just crashed) because the new algorithm they are using looks very promising.
Also, Bitcoin is about to recover from the crash it just had yesterday/today.
Too soon to be speculating about BTC and market recovery. Some traders are still going to panic and dump before August 1. Market will definitely dip a little more |

I think you should add Waves to your list. Waves has a potential to replace Eth. Even if it doesn't, WAVES is healthy competition. Also STRATIS is good. Also look into UBIQ, BITBAY, LBRY, and LISK |

I would say waves is having more potential than other coins there is lots of token created now days based on waves platform there is lots of ico happening wand also ability to trade inside waves platform DEX.

Lets be honest.
Most people are hopping on WAVES wagon because they missed out on ETH. Everybody's looking for the next ETH - I know because I'm in the same boat. But be realistic and do your own research. Study the charts and the platform's roadmap. Look at the competition and weight their features against the horse you're backing instead of bashing them and hoping you can FUD your coin to the top. Most of all, don't lie to yourself. The FOMO is strong in many of us

Eth is the major coin that is used by icos. And waves platform also started to be used for icos.both of them are very promising cryptocurrencies. Waves is cheap and buy level is better than ethereum.
I believe Waves current price is making it more appealing to ICOs and its lite wallet client plugin for chrome is pure bliss |

OP suggested unbreakable coin, its the first time I hear for that coin. Except few basic things that OP shared with us about this coin, I didn't hear a good reason for buying this coin, and why this coin can go to the moon. Before buying do your own research, OP is not a newbie but rather way I don't trust him about this coin. buy OMG / Omisego , this is a very solid project and very good team they only issue around 100 millions token and as soon the blockchain is up and running maybe around the end of the year or early next year, it will be on POS, meaning the more token you hold the more interest profit you gain. this could be the next stratis buy here : https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-OMGyou can thank me next year when the price $10 I would like to find a POS coin and invest some money, diamond is not bad, but I feel like I'm late for it. Waves is a scamcoin and scam platform to facilitate scam icos.
Best is to stay away from it.
Man please get a life! Give up with your FUD, you are ridiculous. Waves is one of the best project out there, everyone will see it in 2/3 months. Well trolls are every where and do nothing but to spread misinformation. Waves is a big player in the market even though the price is cheap and this price is a good opportunity to buy low and sell high in the future. So better to have waves in everybody's portfolio. At this point in time, any portfolio without some waves in it is sorely lacking |

I bought Doge years ago at a fraction of the current price and I've been parking them in a casino's bankroll for quite some time now. No clue where it's going though, it depends massively on the Doge community.
That is right. However, there is no much good use of the coin at the moment. Well, the only good use for Doge and the reason it's on so many exchanges is that it's a good coin to base a price around. For instance, if a coin is worth fractions of Litecoins, then you're probably better off listing it on the Doge coin market. It's just perfect currency for really low valued coins. Have another exchange list the Starta ?
Currently DEX and Tidex. Starta is negotiating with other exchanges to place a token, but there are some legal issues that are being handled.
Before long it will be listed on other exchanges.

BUT lets wait for the next exchange. maybe we can see the p[rice bounce back. Have patience, not all crypto-coins already enter the poloniex .. as I am investing in the long run, I have no hurry. Good investors are looking for the development and not just the price alone. The development usually happen in a span of time and it could be months or years and as long as there is a continues update from the team then there is nothing to worry on that. Agree with you. We should focus on Starta's new invesments and returns from current ones. I would like to propose that the sta can be traded on Chinese trading platform because the Chinese platform is very popular! Yeah agree with you. Local exchanges so important especially high volume Asian exchanges. STARTA on major exchanges will be huge and great for price movement.
