Hi
Any news on the new windows wallet

What's wrong with the current windows wallet? Except for that little sync bug which can be easily resolved by force shutting the app in task manager and running it as admin after.  Wink By the way, I'm pretty sure that will be fixed soon as it probably needs to be in line with rebranding but otherwise it's a great little GUI wallet.

its broke ive had nothing but trouble with it as have others

Can you please describe the nature of trouble you're having with it? I've had none except for the one I mentioned above. On the other hand, you know if you're having issues you can still manage your wallet the old fashioned way.  Smiley I've seen older coins having no GUI wallets at all.

ive just downloaded the wallet again and its doesnt run
It might not feel like running. Do you seriously expect a serious support reply on "i ve download it and it doesnt run"?
Is it installed properly? It doesnt run after it's installed or the installer doesnt start at all? Anyway try to give more info or move to another coin cause this is what you were about to write anyhow

right  i downloaded  sumokoin wallet v0.01-b1.1 -x86-64  opened the folder and right clicked run as admin on the sumokoin  application after than nothing appears to be happening  even after waiting 10 mins  nothing on my screen

You run the .exe as admin after the wallet is installed that's the way to get through the bug. But you are not even there yet, your actual problem is that the installer is not running. Can you install anything on your pc? You may have corrupt registry or something. What's your Windows version?

windows 7 ultimate with ser pack 1
i have several other wallets running ok on my pc  soil wallet , uibq  they all run ok
it may be something im not doing right  but  i did have it installed and running once  about a week ago
and after i closed it  and went to reopen it  its wouldnt sync would not even connect

My beloved crypto friend. Listen to the voice from beyond carefully now. Go to ProgramData/Sumokoin and erase the shit out of the folder. Check if the wallet is running and not responding on your task manager. If it does kill it. Now try to reinstall it. I believe miracles will start to happen and your lost belief in Sumo Gods will strengthen again

how do i use the linux command line software to restore a wallet with the passphrase and address?

My exquisite crypto companion. cd yourself to the sumo wallet folder on your beloved linux terminal. Type ./sumo-wallet-cli --restore-deterministic-wallet. Give a beautiful name to your wallet when asked and a handsome password. Then the wallet will ask you to input your lovely seed words. Do that. Press enter when asked from which height you want to restore from. Let it to do it from the beginning to be safe and get all your beautiful beautiful coins. You are done my friend. ( Now if you want to restore from keys and not from seed words its a different story, if that's the case do kindly tell )

First time postin,
So i'm new to Sumokoin, here's the problem. 56 hours ago i was sent a payout from pool.sumokoin.com, and one more since then. still haven't received them in my wallet.  running sumokoind on linux, and the wallet with it. it's fully synced and have done a save/ rescan_bc. Still nothing. Whats the dealio?

EDIT: Also to note, the transaction shows up on Explorer.sumokoin.com, and i can decode the block output using my address and viewkey.

Linux Wallet is Big Problem, in Centos and Ubuntu. Still have problem. Not solved yet. You will get no balance, same like me. I have report it. But no reply yet.

Hey Yoda. I have been using a linux cli wallet on an ubuntu terminal for months and performed lots of transactions with it. Can you please describe in non master Jedi english your exact problem in order to be able to help you? (If I was you I would first have checked if I am root)

Subaddresses

Haruto has sent a PR for subaddresses and we need more testing to make sure it works flawlessly.

https://github.com/sumoprojects/sumokoin/pull/28

You can also pull and build from Haruto's repo branch here:

https://github.com/haruto-tanno/sumokoin/tree/subaddress

You may use testnet for coin transfers or use small sum to avoid lost real money if there is any issue.

This is my test screen, the subaddress (that I sent coins to) starts with Sub... instead Sumo...:

Thank you.

So I've done the delete folder thing numerous times, I've deleted/reinstalled the wallet programs, I've redownloaded the blockchain numerous times... And now that FINALLY both the CLI and GUI are working right, and I'm certainly logged into the wallet used for pool payments... The buggy pieces of poo wont display any balance that definitely had payments sent to it from pool.sumokoin.com Sad

Anyone have any idea how to make past incoming transfers show up? Sad Blockchain definitely fully synced right now to current block 51786.

Rescanning the blockchain is your best bet (by clicking the button on the gui wallet). Do that and come back. If you ve restored your wallet properly from keys or seed words be sure that your coins are not lost.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - 🔏 Digital Cash For High-Confidential Transactions 🔏 on: September 19, 2017, 09:13:39 PM

Anyone know why it won't connect?
Do I need nodes?

Thx Smiley

No nodes needed.
Try to delete folder C:\ProgramData\sumokoin and restart wallet. (save your seed words and/or keys first in order to be able to restore later in case you have coins stored in it already)

If that doesnt work download the cli wallet and daemon from here https://www.sumokoin.org/downloads/v0.1.2.0/sumokoin.win.x64.v0-1-2-0.zip and try to synchronise by running sumokoind.exe ( cmd deamon )
Once the daemon downloads the chain and synchronises, save and exit and then run again gui wallet.

There is a known but rare bug on gui wallet installer creating corrupt wallet files on first install on some systems. Devs are solving it for the next wallet version.

why is my wallet always working only for the first time after installation and when i close it, i just cant sync anymore.

its saying network disconnected but when i reinstall it works for the first time again.

Save your seed words in order to be able to restore your wallet, then delete this folder C:\ProgramData\sumokoin and reinstall wallet

I have been mining for 3 hours and my Total Hashes Submitted: 50276000
But my Pending Balance: 0.000000000 SUMO
Is there a problem ?

Blocks you ve helped mine need 60 confirmations in order to give you your deserved coin share.

where can i see that confirmations for my coins ?

Click "pool blocks" and check maturity. Then check the time you ve started mining and you ll find the first block you have helped to be mined.

i downloaded wallet, generated adresse...mining on sumopool for 2hours now, i can see my hashrate but still no pending balance...is something wrong?

Blocks must get 60 confirmations before balance appears. So wait a couple of hours more

Guys guys. No prob. Cryptopia has the same address for everyone but recognises deposits from the unique payment ID. This is why it is compulsory. It genereates a new payment ID for each user

If so, how could i identify and see my stats here ?
https://pool.sumokoin.com/

And what shold be my bat file address in config?

Because someone tries to mine with his Cryptopia address and unfortunately will never see his profits.

You either download a wallet and generate a new address or you create one here https://wallet.sumokoin.com/ but remember to save seed words and keys in order to restore it later

https://wallet.sumokoin.com/
i used this and generate one SUMO address but i could not understand this address that how to see my balanca and how to sent.

And I downloaded GUI Wallet but not sync yet? it is so long.

If you have saved the seed words and/or keys start mining with the address you generated and then restore your wallet after the daemon synchronises

I missed the seed words
Spend or Wiew keys are enoug for restore?

If you have both keys then yes

Right on cue, the cheerleader "investor" of this crypto defaults to his usual knee-jerk reaction when the right button is pressed not to mention resorting to juvenile taunts which is an indication that he could no longer support his argument with facts and logic. The hen that cackles is the one laying the egg.

Dude, you are not the frigging developer so STFU! This is an open forum. Who the fuck do you think you are?

Have I hit a nerve? Sorry. I'm done providing you with a short time life purpose. Carry on

Of course I don't invest in your scam. Or for that matter, even the concept of "investing" in cryptocurrencies is already strange. In the original sense, currencies are meant to be used as a means of exchange and store of value; they are not meant to be investment tools like stocks. To me, owning cryptocurrencies instead of fiat currencies is more like a transition from the old, unfair and malfunctioning monetary system to a new, fair and trustless one.

Precisely. Unfortunately though, you and I are in the minority who get it, i.e. the way cryptocurrencies were meant to be. The majority is just a bunch of get-rich-quick yahoos.

The fact that the word invest or investment has been mentioned on here quite often is in itself an indication of a Freudian slip.

Couldn't agree more with this.

Why dont you all make a thread to discuss your world views and exchange opinions. The rest of us following this thread must read through your gibberish
(Visdude by the way get a girlfriend dude, you are taking everything too seriously...)

1. No one spammed any thread unless you dont like people to be talking about any other coin except the ones you hold.

False. On Boolberry:

Re-post from announcement thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2163270

SUMO EASY MINER - v0.1 BETA 1.3

This is probably the world's most easy and intuitive CPU miner created by Sumokoin dev team. The miner is mainly for those who want to start mining Sumokoin (SUMO), yet you can freely use it to mine any cryptonote-based cryptocurrencies like Monero (XMR), Aeon (AEON), Boolberry (BBR), DigitalNote (XDN) etc by just adding new pools.

Why are you posting this here?  You can't mine Boolberry with this.  Boolberry isn't cryptonight it uses Wild Keccak as the algorithm.
Take your spam and hit the road.

On Monero:
Re-post from announcement thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2163270

SUMO EASY MINER - v0.1 BETA 1.3

Github sources coming soon? GTFO you piece of shit botnet herder.

On Aeon:
Open source software no hidden fees

I call bullshit. No source provided, just binaries on a dropbox. The author is not honest.
I would stay away from any blobs from members I don't trust. Even if source is published on github I would better compile it myself after reading source code.

Everyone please be careful with it.

I agree with sammy007,
opensource, but no source..  Huh

People unanimously consider it as a spam advertising a scam.

2. Wow we should all light a candle for you. Thank you for keeping people safe, that's a noble task

You're very welcome. I'm now already satisfied that I could do my part of warning people, and it seems like a great waste of time for me to engage in further conversations with you. I wish you health, and please don't spam other coins with your scam advertisement.

Bye and best of luck

1. If anyone of you in doubt abt dev intention, you can put a cautious mark here and don't invest. It's my best advice as I know I have no capability to satisfy all of you. Probably, the more we talk the more doubts will arise for some ppl.

Of course I don't invest in your scam. Or for that matter, even the concept of "investing" in cryptocurrencies is already strange. In the original sense, currencies are meant to be used as a means of exchange and store of value; they are not meant to be investment tools like stocks. Disclosure: I own some Bitcoin, some Monero and some Aeon. No Sumokoin.

I started posting here primarily because you spammed some other Bitcointalk threads with your scam GUI miner advertisement, and I also felt like helping some uninformed people in this thread to realize the danger in Sumokoin.

2. I'm sure you are good enough at English to understand what "couple of days" means.

From Dictionary.com:
Quote
Idioms
14.
a couple of, more than two, but not many, of; a small number of; a few: It will take a couple of days for the package to get there.
A dinner party, whether for a couple of old friends or eight new acquaintances, takes nearly the same amount of effort.
Also, Informal, a couple.

I do hope you also understand the meaning of it. Certainly it shouldn't be more than 10 or 20. Why don't you simply delete the download link? If you break your own promise, there'll be a consequence.

1. No one spammed any thread unless you dont like people to be talking about any other coin except the ones you hold. Crypto world is one of the few remaining strongholds protecting your right to think freely and shout scam with just subjective indications. You wouldnt dare to go inside your country's stock exchange and start accusing all stocks that didnt fit your criteria, would you? Also thank you for sharing your personal opinion on what a crypto coin should be, why dont you create one.
2. Wow we should all light a candle for you. Thank you for keeping people safe, that's a noble task
3. Go tell Claymore the same.
