I myself am not very sure if the front threes can be as good as last year. but my confidence in the market next year will be better than now, although there is not much improvement in my expectations there is a positive trend in the crypto market next year.
I think what needs to be said about how, as usual, no one here can ever be sure that today there are some possible options to know exactly how to work properly and how to relate to the market as a whole. We never tell what will happen on 2019 but we have to be ready how we can handle the situation if it dumps further. And even despite the fact that Ripple has now bypassed Ethereum, my opinion is not for long, in the end ETH will return to its second position. I agree. mining is not profitable now because of the present value of bitcoin. It is cheaper to invest in the coin that to mine it.
Miners have better stop and invest directly in bitcoin than mining that the cost is expensive. But selling their equipment is not a good idea to have something to invest because that will worth and need again when the price pump up. Cloud mining sites should not shutdown but wait also, it will not going to stay in this situation. |

For me 2017 is a very profitable moment, many successful ICO projects and valuable bounties and airdrops. At the beginning of 2018 the bounty is still very profitable but it is very different when entering Q2 2018 to date.
2017 had many legit projects which really profitable even for airdrops. I gained lot from good projects and projects followed the end of campaign even the distribution of rewards where you cannot wait much longer to listed it on the market. Entering from 2017 can encourage towards you to invest in bitcoin and other crypto unlike today that much requirements needed but in the end you earned nothing. |

OK so I bought ETH a while back when it was 600 dollars.
Now that ETH is 275 is it a good move to sell my ETH and buy back in? Wouldnt profit be faster when market picks up like that or not?

I don't think the sell move is a smart one, i would advice that you continue to hold for a long term or buy more ETH at the price of $275 price and sell all when the price improves reasonably. I think you should buy again rather than sell because ethereum is better for long term investment. Wait till it really won't because the price will increase again. Be calm and be patient, what you are holding now can get goo d profit at the right time. Continue to hold and do not be afraid that it won't come back in good price because it will. |

A time will come when those who totally rejected the coin, would question why they did that, and have faith in it. Yes I would like to invest in ripple, but I will split my investment in some different coins & will not invest my full amount in ripple.

I believe that the losses is the person who sell thier asset in a very low price. If we are going to take a look back on the crypto history we can all see that the people who gain a lot of profit is the person who hold thier asset even in a huge dip. I made a transaction setting a very low transaction fee (6 Sat/B). I thought it was enough but it's been over an hour and I can see my transaction is not still confirmed.
Question in my head is: What if the transaction never confirms? When will it be back to my wallet in that case?

Low transaction has been experiencing long traffic along the network, it takes long to confirm or never confirm which is bad especially when the transaction is irreversible. Maybe you should cancel it and try another one. See the maximum transaction fee because the higher it is, the faster the process will be. |

You have to work to earn bitcoin unless you can do faucets which are wasting just your time because it takes time to earn good amount unlike joining campaign that give you good reward if you find a good project that you can sell high price on the market.
