321  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 05:10:03 AM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

Click on the following link to go to the survey - https://uvacommscience.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3lzs2sI13cKH1m5?source=bitcointalk

If you are interested, I could post my main findings here.

Thank you.

I chose bitcoin because I know that it will make me a rich man. Aside from that it is easy to earn. Maybe some people are buying a bitcoin but for me even I dont buy bitcoin I can still earn it from this forum. Some people are using their money but I am just using my time and knowledge. Especially bitcoin price now is huge so I'm pretty sure that it will attract more people.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $10K? on: December 08, 2017, 05:07:07 AM

After going through the fire this year with some big challenges thrown its way and after experiencing some ups and downs in price, Bitcoin made big surprising moves as it finally inched into the $10,000 mark and right now as I am writing this thread it is still making some surge...maybe it is thinking of going ahead into the $11,000 level soon.

Based on the projection that it can go as high as $40,000 next year, we can conclude that $10,000 is still cheap and that there is still a big room to grow for Bitcoin. However, we all know that corrections can possibly happen anytime soon. At this rate, are you still buying Bitcoin or would you still recommend to folks you know to get into Bitcoin?

Long live, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency!!!!

Yes I would still recommend people to invest in bitcoin because we cannot predict the bitcoin price because of its volatility. When bitcoin price was at 8000 dollars many people are scared to invest in bitcoin because of its price but as we can see now it boomed again and it might happen again if we invest in bitcoin. Risk is a part of investing so don't be afraid.
323  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Multiple Account Posting in Same IP Address on: December 08, 2017, 03:32:34 AM

324  Local / Pilipinas / Re: kahalagahan ng private key on: December 08, 2017, 03:27:43 AM

Private key has a alphanumeric code. So it means mahirap ito i hack.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the biggest changes in your life caused by Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2017, 12:05:47 AM
Many of us here are hoping to be successful miners/campaigners or anything realated to BTCitcoin. Some people succeed many people failed. With that said, what are the biggest changes in your life since you started bitcoin? I hope these will inspire other people so that we too can be successful. Thank you very much!

I couldn't still imagine that bitcoin will change my life. Before I started earning bitcoin I was a student worker and it was very hard because I need to study in the afternoon and after that I will go to work until in the morning. But when my friend introduced to me that this forum I quit my job and focus here. Now, my profit now is much higher than my work before and I can focus on my studies now.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 06, 2017, 01:24:56 AM
Hi guys! Can you share some tried and tested tricks on making the most out of your buck and also some tips on how to save money more effectively. This will be a heck of a help to our fellow users here. Thank you so much.

The best and tested trick to save money is not to spend it. Let's say you have a wallet that stores your money or bitcoin. In our country you can choose if you want to use the wallet as fiat or bitcoin. but, the difference of that two is when you choose as fiat it stays as that while when you choose bitcoin, your savings is volatile because of bitcoin value. If you want to save more money you may try trading and investing.
327  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: December 06, 2017, 01:16:10 AM
I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on.

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.    Huh

That's so restrictive. Did you try to use online wallet? Some online wallets sells bitcoin with their customer and you don't need those requirements. In our country we use coins.ph wallet and you can buy bitcoin from there and its hassle free and after you buy can transfer it in any trading sites.
328  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BTC withdrawal fee @ Exchanges on: December 06, 2017, 01:07:38 AM

Sobrang nakakawindang talaga yan.

330  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May nabasa ako tatanggap na daw ang Mcdonald Ng bitcoin next year on: December 05, 2017, 01:28:31 PM

Saan mo nabasa? Can you post it here?

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1081010912055662&id=163550757135020

335  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: December 04, 2017, 12:01:47 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

I think all us here wants to get rich with the help of bitcoin. As of now I've earn .08bitcoins though its still little but someday I know I will become rich like those people who started early in earning bitcoins. I'm just thinking what if I started earning bitcoin early, maybe I am rich now also.

340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: December 01, 2017, 03:09:36 PM
Bitcoin is as secure as banking system and no one can break its security, if someone hacked your account, it will be your security lapse. Always use private window or safe browsing and secure your password and key in safer place and use best antivirus program so no infiltration to your system and you are 100% safe.
I guess it is really up to us how we will work for our security, bitcoin is safe as we all know but where we store our money is the problem. Storing our bitcoin only in one wallet is too risky, we need to think about another way, distributing it into different wallets or investing it would be great. Your idea of safe browsing and antivirus always needs to be considered.
