323  Economy / Marketplace / Re: bitcoin transaction fees has put me out of business on: December 23, 2017, 11:11:53 AM
We are aware of bitcoins situation now a days. And we do hope for solutions. Lightning network is the only way provided and I think it is still on the move.
While such high fees and slow transactions, as a business man, you should now impractical using bitcoin today. And you should also know that depending on bitcoin alone or cryptos is very risky. You should have at least another way of mode of payments for your business and not taking chances with fees.
Bitcoins is proven and I think everything will be fine soon. Hang in there and think out of the box this time.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Blockchain not enabling Segwit, but started accepting Bitcoin Cash? on: December 18, 2017, 09:59:16 AM

Maybe because of the unresolved problems in btc. Bitcoin today are having very high fees and slow transactions, BCH has lower fees and a more dependable network now ( due to less supporters  Grin ). And many are complaining about this some time now.
I think what BCH has is what companies want for their business. Until Bitcoin’s issues are currently uresolved, we will continue seeing such events.

326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble will occur or Correction...! on: December 17, 2017, 09:40:57 AM
I am quite tired if hearing bubble all the time. I don't even know what they are pertaining to anymore. If they are referring to a big dip only.
As I have understand bubble burst, it is bitcoin on the way to zero value. Correct me if I am wrong.
And as I have been observing the rise is just normal for massive adaptation. Corrections are just ways to sustain the prices at a particular mark.
I hope I learn something new towards this.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting fact about BTC on: December 17, 2017, 06:56:12 AM
Not all statements in Google are facts.
Some are own perception that are just given to be a additional insight
And I was thinking where is the percentage of lost coins ? And how can you prove that FBIs do have bitcoins ? Why didn't you think about rich peoples. Very weird for a fact I guess.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are they afraid of bitcoin? on: December 17, 2017, 04:16:09 AM
Why are u think that they afraid?
Maybe they all have mining farms in their gardens...
Haha. Seemingly there is a possibility that they do.

Also, I don't understand which are you pointing out really?
Fear of what bitcoins can do ? I think this technology is built to help and not to build up a fight between the government.
Afraid because they haven't invested because of being arogant ? Ignorant ? The the crypto world boom?
Or afraid that they may lose big time in banks ?

I think they should not be afraid. Instead help to make bitcoin develop more.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there such demand for Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2017, 12:59:57 AM
I'm pretty sure less bitcoins are being mined compared to the previous years, otherwise what's the point from the block halving. The demand is clearly coming from different types of people, investors, people who want a way out of the banking system, Darknet users, gamblers etc. and in these area, compared to fiat, bitcoin is much better.

I completely agree.
High demand, less supply. Reasonable, since everyday it's harder and harder to mine bitcoins. Banning of bitcoins in China may have contribute somehow or if every the number of miners there were already covered by new miners still it's difficult to set a proportional amount of bitcoin to the massive adaption of bitcoins.
Before I think one bitcoin is to a hundred users or less that is why prices before are low.
Today, I think one bitcoin is not only to a thousand users.
330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Better Late than Never? on: December 17, 2017, 12:13:49 AM
In the long term, cryptocurrency market will only grow, so you have nothing to fear. But the risk of a correction remains.

Yeah. You're right. It's not really a mystery how bitcoin rose that quick. It may be misunderstood as a threat sometimes. We are in the process of adaptation, we should also keep in our minds that many are wanting to join the cryptoworld. Rose in prices are just a one of the things that could tell us that I'm there is more to come.
Corrections are very healthy, this keeps and sustains the possible long term mark of bitcoin.
I don't believe that it will burst.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin better than bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, super bitcoin.... on: December 16, 2017, 01:55:12 PM
Simply because it's the original. Original things are made with strong foundation. Altcoins and fork coins are just imitations. With some adjustments.
Altcoins are not that famous thatbis why it's cheaper, no massive transactions that is why there are no such things as fee. I would still trust bitcoin if I were you.
Interventions are on process.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Somebody just become billionaire with bitcoin, any words? on: December 16, 2017, 12:49:43 PM
If this information is true they are probably rich already before earning bitcoins.
And I think this will set as a motivation to everyone. Also I think more spammers will be joining at present once they have heard that using bitcoin can make you billionaires.
Though in my opinion, it will always depend on how anoerson will act and be determined to achieve a goal using bitcoin.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news from USA and Japan. on: December 16, 2017, 10:08:35 AM
Hi,

I think these are only weak signals... We are far from a world in which you can use bitcoin on a daily basis but.. Indeed, the community is growing and even traditionnal institutions are trying to grasp something for themselves...

However, I would not be too happy here.. USA voted here the end of "neutral" Internet, which means that from now on, if you pay more, your content can reach customers more quicky. This means that such forum may be harder to reach, it may be harder to collaborate on t if your IP is in the US.

So beware of too great expectations!

Then it's a bit of a bad news to US bitcoin users? Sorry to say.
But I am quite happy about how these two countries take action of the present situation.
I will be happy even if the prices won't move within weeks. It already rose so much that even a whole year increase can be covered.

I think this will calm some users. Maybe not too profitable to traders if prices would not be too volatile for a while.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency as our Fiat on: December 16, 2017, 06:30:38 AM
I think it will not happen. Firstly because of volality. An amount of bitcoin would mean so much more once it's widely accepted and guessing that no one would buy a coffee using bitcoin with fees greater than the price of the coffe itself. It's a bit impractical.
And bitcoin can not function as a global currency because of the economical diffences of each country. Like in US Dollars is Fifty pesos in our country.

The government will not accept bitcoin as currency because of its anonymity. It can easily used in illegal purposes that cause to increase criminality. It will be hard to have crypto as fiat because the value is not stable in the market. Fiat is something that has fixed value and it is handled by people in the government which is different in cryptocurrency.

I do not understand why you have to quote it but I think we are both on the same side.
The part where you said that bitcoin will not be accepted by government, I think I would not agree to that.

Because firstly, in my own opinion, government really wants to take part in this industry. They want to control it but very impossible to happen. That is why many are banning bitcoins in their country.
Criminality exist and will continue to exist with or without the government involved.

Second, we are asking for acceptance which government would not allow unless bitcoins are regulated by them.

Therefore, it's up to the core if we will want government to regulate it for further acceptance OR just ignore the government and let them do what they want regardless of what they can do.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Open Letter to The Bitcoin Community on: December 16, 2017, 04:29:19 AM
Well, the open letter sum it all up. And everything stated here is true. I think everyone is aware of the problems because they are actually experiencing it. And some are seeking answers here in the forum by making different threads.
I think this would answer it all. I also hope that the lightning network will soon be implemented. I am not into altcoins and willing to stick to bitcoin. Despite the different problems it faces today, users must trust what bitcoin can do. It needs supporters now. I hope none of the users turn their backs at bitcoins.
Those who knows how to help, please hear this letter.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fever on: December 16, 2017, 03:15:10 AM
Maybe or maybe not. If someone can accurately tell how many users use bitcoin then I may agree to it with provided supports.
Bitcoin can be known globally, and we don't now which country do spread the word of cryptocurries which greatly influences adaption or simply ignored by many.
In our country, I think it's starting to attract many given that many newbies here in the forum are my fellowmen ( just an observation ). Or maybe some of them are alts so still not accurate enough to prove anything.
Prices do make some points that it did grow I guess.

338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when bitcoins are lost? on: December 15, 2017, 10:47:57 PM
Satoshi said that the lost coins were going to be like a contribution to all bitcoin holders, because those funds are going to be freezed forever until anyone gets the private key to that address.

But yes, those funds are being freezed forever and it means that they will still be in there without movement until the end.

That is why a lot of people like bitcoin, because the money of a died person can not be used to dump or pump the price easily.

Precisely, that is why many are trusting bitcoin instead of other alts. Bitcoin can never have a zero value at any end. It's sad to think that some have lost their coins and I think that it could have been someone's fortune but it's a huge gift for every users.
The fear of bitcoin being a bubble is truly false.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Bitcoin is NOT decentralized ♨♨♨ on: December 15, 2017, 08:36:19 PM
Bitcoin is decentralized. If not, no one could actually send transactions freely. There are just a bit of the problem in block size that is why it is being talked a lot too much- high fee, slow transactions and forks.
The only thing that would make it centralized is how would the government act upon it to be properly accepted in their country with a Tax for economical purposes. The centralized that you are taking about depends on how it will be legalized by authorities and we needed to obey as a citizen.
It's quite different. Don't blame bitcoins. Users are to blame for different movements you know.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin use for transactions are getting low on: December 15, 2017, 01:13:28 PM
You're a bit too early discussing things like this on your own my friend. I find it hard to believe that you understand the relationship between demand and supply to the movement of prices in the market. Also, the movement of fees in relation to the size of bytes per transaction.
Study hard buddy, I remember myself when I was in your place. Difficult at first.
As an explanation, like what others have said, the more transactions made, the higher the fees. More transactions causes traffic. That is why there are fees needed to accelerate some of the transactions to be confirmed or just wait for it like a traffic enforcer. Get that ?
