Crypto kitties are the proof that Ethereum has still a long way to go before being an usable platform for serious business. A few kitties have crashed the platform.

I think it is very likely, and possible much more. As soon as Bitcoin's price will stabilize, I guess it will be the time for Ethereum to rise.

It is amazing to see how most of the booms of altcoins end up to be just giant pump and dump schemes.

POW token hopes to get value through growing of user adoption, since according to Metcalfe's law this should create value by itself.

To spli the risk is a good idea but perhaps you could reserve a little part to a series of still not very capitalised good altcoins.

This will be a very interesting discovery to come -   which percentage of icon projects are just scams or bad projects which will not deliver what promised? In 2019 investors will be more careful.

The very first thing that you need is an Idea. If you have no idea you will have to call it with your own name and give it as a Christmas present to your relatives.

Now that Bitcoin is on the verge of correcting (this is my humble opinion) investing in altcoins could be a very good thing. If you chose well, of course.

Airdrops are cool, but if you don't make a selection you will pass all your days in just subscribing to airdrops, 99% of pure crap.

I think Neo and Bancor are your best choices. Bitcoin Cash not really IMHO. Possibly Gnosis is good too, but possibly already too expensive, but for the long term, who knows...

The only coin with a real use is Ethereum because you can create assets there which represent real tokenized goods. The question of the "real use" is valid also for Bitcoin...
