Purchased a years subscription!

Would love to see Canadian Vault Of Satoshi on there as well! They are rising fast!
Thank you! But Vault Of Satoshi dosen't have trades API yet and their volume looks a bit low, only 20BTC in last 24 hours.

I'm sorry, because NXT is not popular enough, it won't be listed currently.

If you don't list it on your website, how can it become popular there?
I mean popular in the world.

Thank you, i very much appreciate the addition of Nxt.
Sry to bug you, but i still see some areas of improvement:

Why is the site called "Nxt / Btc" when the actual value shown is BTC / Nxt?
Also, the units in the graph shows Satoshis / Nxt.

The units should be the same for the whole Nxt site.
I think it would be better to have a conversion mBtc or µBtc than to satoshi.

Oh, and i would like to donate some Nxt to you.

Forex pair is different from price unit.
BTC/USD => 1 BTC = 600 USD
NXT/BTC => 1 NXT = 0.00009544 BTC

Okay, but the numbers in the graph and for the actual price indicator should still have the same unit.
I don't think so. shows the price in satoshi is the better choice as researching.

I changed timezone to Brazil West, but cannot reproduce the issue. It shows hour goes from 0 to 23 when cursor move.

I am deeply sorry, indeed it is working now.  I should have taken a screenshot.

The local timezone changed from GMT-2 to GMT-3 between feb/15 and feb/16, I noticed the problem on feb/18 morning IIRC.  I keep the window open all the time. Could it be a transient problem?

Today I hard-reloaded the chart window. Could that have made a difference?

Again, sorry to have wasted your time.

I think it have net issue at that time.

There is a small bug in the crosshair cursor.  In the 1h chart, when I put the cursor over either the 08:00 bar or the 09:00 bar, the moving label at the bottom of the cursor says "0" instead of "8" or "9".

Other times seem to display fine.

I am on Brazilian savings time (BST) that is 3 hours West of Greenwhich, so those times are 11:00 and 12:00 UTC.

Could this be another tiny argument for using UTC time instead of local time?  Wink

I changed timezone to Brazil West, but cannot reproduce the issue. It shows hour goes from 0 to 23 when cursor move.

Thank you for these nice charts!

Just wanted to say that line drawing in logarithmic charts appears to be broken. It will only draw linear lines which appear curved on a log scale. Im pretty sure this used to work a few days ago. Or maybe I missed an option for that somewhere?
Thank you for your report. The bug is fixed.

Bitstamp's API doesn't contain bid/ask info, I will add a notice when visit the exchange without bid/ask info
It's bid ratio, bid/(bid+ask) or bid/volume. I use it because when calculate bid/ask, ask must not be zero and if bid is greater than ask, the value is 1 to Infinity, or the value is only 0 to 1.

How come other websites (like coinorama) can show historic Bid/Ask information for Bitstamp?

And how do you get your own (subset) of the Bitstamp order book then, if not via their API?

Is there really no way to get bid/ask for what is currently probably the *largest* exchange out there? :/
I have no idea how they did. The bitstamp public trades API I used is https://www.bitstamp.net/api/transactions. I ask them for adding trade type several months ago but it is still not changed.
Calculate the bid/ask is not always reliable and the backend is not desgined for it. The trade type should be provided by exchange.

mm, such wow

so I guess it was a buy?

or could it be half and half? Like 300 sold and 300 bought?
It won't be mixed if orderbook is correct.
For example. When bid is 650 and ask is 660. If trades is 680 which is much higher than ask price. no care is it bid or ask, system always think it is bid trade.
333  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinWisdom.com - Live Bitcoin/LiteCoin Charts on: February 11, 2014, 04:31:31 PM
how did it happened, that BUY for 605 actually started lower then previous sell AND didn't pushed price much?
also strange topping on ~698 which is not logged
today @ bitstamp
Because Bitstamp doesn't contain bid/ask info. It is gussed by the system base on the orderbook.
BitcoinWisdom mixed Bitstamp realtime trades and http orderbook which has some lag. they cached the orderbook for 5 to 30 seconds. So If there are some new trades but orderbook is not refreshed in time, it will have some mistakes like the image shows.
And Bitstamp realtime trades API is no stable, so BitcoinWisdom recheck the trades by http API which will lag 5 to 30 seconds. When fill the missed trades the orderbook is unreliable, it will have that issues too.

Hey guys! I have a question about the explanations of the "diff vs block generation speed chart"

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/litecoin/difficulty

or

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

on both graphs explain at the bottom:

"If grey line less than blue line, The generation speed is decreasing."

"The more grey line is lower than blue line, the faster generation speed is decreasing."

Is not the other way?

"If grey line less than blue line, The generation speed is increasing."

"The more grey line is lower than blue line, the faster generation speed is increasing."

Thanks..
Thank you for suggestion. Here is logical issue, if the speed is from 600 seconds per block to 500 seconds per block, it is hard to say the speed is decreased or increased with the chart. so I changed 'speed' to 'time' which should be more appropriate.

Logarithmic view is broken again, scale (tickmarks and numbers) will stay linear while chart plot is log. Crosshairs cursor is showing correct price.
Thank you for reporting. The bug is fixed.

I have received a lot of requests to remove Mt.Gox from bitcointalk, reddit and twitter. The community's suggestion and advice is always important.
But currently Mt.Gox still has many visitors, about 12% of all. BTC-e BTC/USD is 14%. so there are many people watching Mt.Gox. The alexa rank of Mt.Gox is still 4000 even much higher than Bitstamp. and the price is not Index Price. so it need some buffer time to remove Mt.Gox.

After a first run of the new volume based features:

(1) Bid/Ask doesn't work (yet?) for Bitstamp... seeing that they're the biggest Western exchange as of now, it'd be really useful to get that data for Bitstamp as well... is it a problem of their API limiting the data you need?

(2) How do you calculate the Bid/Ask ratio, if I may ask. For example, for mtgox, btcwisdom currently has bid/ask at around "0.344". How do you get to that value?

For comparison, the blockchained graph calculates bid/ask as: Total Bid Sum/Total Ask Sum, which currently sits at around 500 USD (maybe a bit higher).

Coinorama calculates the same, Total Bid/Total Ask, so bid/ask as raw price = ~518 USD at the moment. But a useful feature is to *normalize* that ratio to the price at which it is calculated!

So in our case, 518 USD bid/ask normalized to the current price = ~0.87 bid/ask.

Okay, so what I'm saying is basically: a) I don't know how you get to "0.344", and b) could you consider implementing it like I wrote above, as total bid/total ask, normalized for price?
Bitstamp's API doesn't contain bid/ask info, I will add a notice when visit the exchange without bid/ask info
It's bid ratio, bid/(bid+ask) or bid/volume. I use it because when calculate bid/ask, ask must not be zero and if bid is greater than ask, the value is 1 to Infinity, or the value is only 0 to 1.

Hi, I love your site. I just registered and am interest in going premium. I'd like to know if premium members get a longer timescale? I am looking at the Ðogecoin charts and they only go back as far as Feb 8th. In addition will you be implementing the DMI/ADX indicator?
The premium currently is the same as free account but without AD. I have some plan on that but still is in developing.
Some famous indicators and Bollinger Band is going to be implemented next.

(1) There's a new option, 'Depth Range'. Does it increase order book depth? If so, it seems it doesn't anything at the moment...

(2) Any news on the 'Bid/Ask ratio' indicator? Did you find a way to make it work?

(3) Donation sent Cheesy
VWAP and bid ratio is supported now.

You are beyond competent.

Did you ever consider opening an exchange?

I'm not kidding, by the way.
No, there is no plan to run an exchange.

Can you do something about the trade colors? It's completely unreliable, trades are shown in the wrong color (red for buys, green for sells) half of the time and it takes a few refreshes to get it right. How hard can it be?
You must be talk about Bitstamp, because of there is no bid/ask info from Bitstamp's API, the bid or ask is gussed by server. I will improve algorithm to make it more reliable.
Now it should be more reliable.
