Actually there are many reasons like
1. There is no 3rd party who can be benefited.
2. Here is only P2P transaction which is very healthy for buyer and seller.
3. No control of Govt.
4. Easy transferable.
5. Time an risk saving
6. Easily handle-able.

I think for all these characteristics people going to trust on BTC and making investment so that BTC price going high day by day.

I think there is no connection yet for with American Election to BTC market. But we can say about nCOVID season when many men invested their money in this market as a safe home. And there also all positive news everywhere like swiss bank making custody BTC and US central Bank also making custody. But not say for election or president.

Right time right decision to gain initial and think you are good trader. At present time i think market will be correction for establish so you should wait for some while or you can reinvest another small coin like DOT, ADA, Link where there price is very low now and think very recently these token price will be high. On the other hand risk free investment also. So you can take a chance here.

In my opinion you are not wrong here but you are risk taker that is good thing for investment. If you do not take risk you can not be gainer. Everywhere now are positive news and many big big economic gaients also accepting BTC as there transaction. So be positive for BTC market and you will be gainer in near future.

Actually its depends on BTC holders mentality and also risk taking. I think BTC will hit minimum 50k$ this year so that i am holding my BTC for future. Everywhere there are positive news now and new investment also came in nCOVID season. So i think market will not down like 2017 so that i am very much positive about future market and holding my BTC.
