321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? on: February 24, 2018, 11:36:53 AM
just wondering when Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? Is there any upcoming news about ETH that might lead to price growth?

ETH does not need upcoming news to move up. Same as bitcoin as soon as the market starts moving back up Bitcoin and Ethereum will go again. As soon as you see high % growth on those it might be start of next bull run.

323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP ICOs with a working product on: February 24, 2018, 11:30:55 AM
savedroid.com is ongoing German fintech with working product Might be worth adding to your list. I did not see loci. That ico is finished. Also existing company with working product but large scale project and well they did not burn unsold tokens. Still trading far below ICO price.

P.S. see signature coinmetro also will hit the market with finished product. ICO ongoing and still tokens in 12 cent stage available

!!!WHAT SHOULD WE DO ORDER TO AVENGED THE DECEPTION MADE BY SAPIEN TO EVERY BOUNTY HUNTERS!!!

OPTIONS

1. CREATE FUD IN TWITTER?

2. CREATE FUD IN REDDIT?

3. CREATE FUD IN BTT?

4. CREATE FUD IN TELEGRAM?

5. NONE OF THE ABOVE?

6. ALL OF THE ABOVE?

They got greedy. I hate it when this happens.
We should all make information public on how they screwed up the bounty hunters! Spread the workd. Sapien Network SCAMMERS!

I was looking at Sapien Network but if they just decide to scam their bounty hunters, I will avoid that project. First I will investigate closer though what happened. No matter how you manage these things, there will always be some unhappy people.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: February 23, 2018, 08:07:58 PM

I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.

Go all in! Coins I like myself

P.S. Narrative is the smoothest neo based ICO I have seen so far. Only 56% sold to this point but based on what I have seen so far this might turn out to be interesting. 60 Neo in ICO give you founder status. I recommend reading up on that in their whitepaper.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: February 23, 2018, 08:06:08 PM
I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!

The number of ICO has increased substantially. It is not possible any more, to research all of it. Also it might be a good strategy to look more on presale participation as they often come with a high bonus and reduce your risk for losses.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold? on: February 23, 2018, 08:04:22 PM
So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks

I am sitting close to one guy who is a big fan of Fibonacci as indicator but I have to be honest with myself, I am not good at trading. So my short term invest is restricted to ICO I participate in and fully or partly flip and the rest is search for good long term hold or low cap jewels.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: February 23, 2018, 08:02:22 PM

Do you have any good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow this year? Do you think we may end up in all red? I do not see the growth and happy investing of last years.

There is plenty of reason the market is gowing to grow and that with high volatility. Really a dream for traders. Institutional money has already started to enter the money. I think this is only the beginning. The market cap put in the overall context is still tiny. The recent 70% drop got a lot of regular investors scared. I think the cap got as low as 300 billion USD. Now we are like 450 billion. I would expect the market to go sideways for a couple more days before some stage in March the next bull run hits the market.

I do expect this, because I expect a big number of additional institutional investors to hit the market. They have nowhere else to go. Stocks and property are in a big bubble not blockchain. So dont get scared out. Dont invest on credit and just find good positions and keep them.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram Launches ‘Secret’ Second Presale, $850 Mln To Be Raised on: February 23, 2018, 07:56:58 PM
Encrypted messenger service Telegram is reportedly raising a further $850 mln in a “secret second presale” of its TON token before launching the yet to be officially announced world’s biggest ICO.

As Verge reports citing “exclusive” reports from four anonymous sources, Pavel Durov’s platform is attempting to get accredited investors on board to double the $850 mln it already received in the ‘first’ presale.

In total, Telegram stands to raise around $1.6 bln before its TON token sale becomes publicly available.

The figures mean this ICO easily beats any other token offering in terms of USD value, with Block. One's $700 mln result from 2017 coming a lonely second.

Telegram’s path to capital has already seen difficulties due to its increasingly prominent public profile. Fake ‘versions’ of the ICO which appeared on social media following the original announcement in January managed to illicitly accrue funds for TON tokens that did not yet exist.

Controversy centered even on documentation, with a white paper for TON attracting mixed reviews regarding its authenticity when it leaked online.

Durov himself had also publicly come out warning of individual scams linked to the ICO.

Meanwhile, number-three spot Tezos also hinted last week that the nine-month stalemate over its tokens and platform would soon end, co-founder Kathleen Breitman stating a prospective launch could occur within weeks at a UCLA conference Feb. 17-18.

I use Telegram a lot and even think that it is a high profile project. The money they are trying to raise is just crazy. A total of 1.6 bln. Honestly for what kind of project would you need that kind of money from the start? The same kind of greed that KIN has shown and the ICO investors over there got burnt.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you think about the forkdelta?? on: February 23, 2018, 07:53:57 PM
is this a substitute for the exchange of etherdelta? how do you think is it safe for a better exchange ??

It is not really a substitute as it is using the ED contract. An alternative as decentralized exchange is Idex. It has been gaining momentum lately. For all 3 ED, forkdelta and Idex I would strongly recommend the use of a hardware wallet like the one on ledgerwallet.com
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes an altcoin valueable? on: February 23, 2018, 07:42:51 PM
1. usability as currency with regards to cost and speed of transactions
2. additional use cases and value within the ecosystem of that currency
3. size and quality of the community
4. token or own coin? I personally prefer eth and neo based tokens and I am not very keen to put a large number of additional wallets for different coins.

I dont know did not get any merit so far. And if I need merit to go up in rank why would I send some of the little merit I got to someone for the quality of his posting? What would be my incentive to do so? I feel it makes it very difficult for new members to level up. And wont there be simply trade for merit?
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: February 17, 2018, 11:29:37 AM
By plan i mean when do you plan to cash out. Is it when you have made enough to buy a car, a house maybe? or are you setting your sights higher?

Personally i'd just like to own my own home, after that i would just play with spare change.

I would say this market is still in a very early phase so I am not looking in cashing anything of my small funds iin crypto out anytime soon. If you manage to make enough for a car you might also set yourself more ambitious targets for your crypto investments.

336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union is testing Ripple for money transfers! on: February 17, 2018, 11:21:41 AM
Still I wont touch Ripple. Not decentralized, no proof of work and no open access. Ripple just trojan horse of the bank to get their hands on ETH and BTC for cheap. Ripple is the instrument with which the banks get into crypto for cheap. Holding Ripple is a risky game. Western Union should be history soon enough.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta Is Broken on: February 17, 2018, 11:17:28 AM
TRADE VOLUME - 0%  Huh Huh Huh

Just a heads up - the Trade Record Window shows trades executed over 30 hours ago and nothing new.

Also is NOT recording trades after your order has been executed so you have no record of BUY and SELL prices and amounts. Makes it a pain in the ass to keep track of what you are doing if you are doing a lot of trades.

Also gives this error no matter what "You cannot trade this order because it already traded. Someone else already traded this order and the order book hasn't updated yet."

So you can BUY tokens, yet you can't use the SELL order book to sell anything which I am sure is making a ton of people get screwed like myself. Probably just lost $1k which is a lot for me.

Anyone know how to fix this shit? In the meantime I would advise to stay FAR away. I'm in Github chat for ED and it seems many of us are facing this error issue. And their is no word about anything from ED (like usual). And with ED's twitter being suspended this is just fucking great.

ED Telegram Chats - https://t.me/etherdelta and https://t.me/etherdeltaofficial
ED Github chat on Gitter (official chat from top menu of etherdelta.com) - https://gitter.im/etherdelta/etherdelta.github.io

I have made a lot of great purchases on ED but recently lost some money with swithching the price and the amount of tokens. There was a system warning but as ED well is not perfect, I ignored it. This was in a low volume token under the contract number and my order got picked up the moment I entered it into the system. It was basically instant so I have a suspicion the exchange collected it. I think Idex is the better option for pre exchange trading.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: February 17, 2018, 11:14:18 AM
Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

As active bounty hunter I dont like it of course, but there has been projects, where significant amounts of tokens with substantial value were dropped. Many times the bounties are like 5% of the total token supply so well makes things more complicated but I can see some reason.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest News! on: February 17, 2018, 10:24:06 AM
What is the current news that affect the market?!

I think there will be more money coming back to the market soon. You might consider to shift more investment from your high cap investments to the one with smaller cap and higher volatility.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: February 17, 2018, 09:36:17 AM
Hey,

with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.

Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones.
Facebook blocked ICO advertising.
Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already.
Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements.
Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.

What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?

First of all I would avoid all ICO with the market cap too high. Then I would focus on blockchain or protocol. Prototype? In general I like ICO with a working product and a low market cap.
