321  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: October 14, 2018, 11:08:32 PM
I don't think fiat currencies can be totally eliminated and be replaced by cryptos. Fiat currencies has been use for decades in doing transactions and most people prefer to use it than any other way of payment. It can be use offline which makes it easier to use.
Cryptos is just another way of payment just like debit cards, credit cards and check. It can be use by anyone but that doesn't mean that it will totally replace fiat.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: When the government forbids cryptocurrency on: October 14, 2018, 03:50:28 PM
How unfortunate that your country doesn't/can't see the good things about bitcoin and its effect and use in technology. Bitcoin offers lot of opportunities to people, financially and even information that can be useful to one's country to grow their economical status. Good thing that some countries see these opportunities of bitcoin and some of them are not closing their doors in using and supporting it. But as far as I know, blockchain can't be control by anyone, it is decentralize and gives us the idea that you can still use it in some ways.

I just hope that your country will soon open their eyes and see the real value and importance of bitcoin.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating New Coin or Invest in ICO on: October 14, 2018, 03:31:16 PM
As the title pronounced which do you prefer Invest or create? For me the capability of creating new coin can make big income and big loss there is a certain period of time that this idea will fail, as for Investing in some ICO compare to other side you have a freedom to choose, we all heard, don't put all your eggs in one basket but what if *if* half of the dozen egg broke and the other four was on fatal condition and the last two was successful and these two coin made you around 10m usd and your capital was 11m usd all of effort and time come to waste you see it's really hard to choose between two, how bout you share your opinions and express yourselves into this topic.
Like what you've said, I think investing in an ICO is better than creating new coin where you have to have good ideas that will capture the interest and attentions of investors which can either be a success or a failure, unlike Investing in cryptos where you have to choose the ICO you think has the potential to grow and be useful to investors and to the blockchain technology as well. From here you can choose trustworthy ICOs to put your money in that may give you good amount of profits in the future.
324  Economy / Economics / Re: LIFE GOES ON. on: October 14, 2018, 03:25:56 PM
Yes, indeed life goes on. Although the market is red and it seems like it is still far in recovering, still there are many ways and chances to make good amount of profit. If you are a good trader, you can still make profits even with this market condition. If you are a holder and investor, patience is the only key in order to succeed. What we have to do is to believe in cryptos and blockchain technology itself. It is still in its primary years and many more innovations are about to happen. It is not yet the end.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: October 14, 2018, 03:14:56 PM
Indeed, patience is the key. In this field it is one of the keys including - self control and being emotionally stable, investors should have if he want to get the success he always wanted.  If you want to make good amount of profit, you should wait for the market to recover, not to do panic selling like what some new investors do.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The whole market is red, but is it worth panicking now? on: October 14, 2018, 03:06:34 PM
The whole market has been red for months until now. No need to panic cause we've been experiencing this for quiet too long. What we need to do is sit down and have a cup of coffee and wait for the market to wake up and rise up again like what it always does. I believe that everything is taking its time, market recover will soon to come as well as the pumps, we should wait for that to happen.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should governments accept Crypto currencies? on: October 14, 2018, 03:00:16 PM
Bitcoin and blockchain cannot be control and trace that is the reason why government don't like bitcoin. They are afraid that bitcoin will fail and vanish like a bubble that will lead to massive loss of money of the investors investing and believing in cryptos. Government doesn't want that to happen.

As for using bitcoin in doing transactions and hiding corruption of government officials will be an advantage and very useful tool to them as you have mentioned that it is recorded in blockchain and that no one can trace it (like what we believed in). But governments can do almost everything they want. They can hide their identities by cooperating and paying banks they use in doing transactions. Blockchain will ot be needed in order to do that. As long as they get what they wanted using the old system, they won't be needing bitcoin and blockchain.
328  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you honestly feel about the recent bitcoin drop? on: October 14, 2018, 02:22:26 PM
Honestly, I am a bit disappointed and worried about the recent drop happening in the market. It's been months since the last correction and until now the market is down and seems to be stabilizing. The volatility is not that high and there are still no traces that the market will soon to recover. Everything seems so quiet but I believe in cryptos and the blockchain. I know everything will go back the way it is before. The market will recover and everyone will enjoy the bullrun. I just hope it will happen soon.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the correct time to purchase bitcoins and al-crypto? on: October 13, 2018, 04:32:07 PM
If you believe that the market will recover and rise up again, then I think it's a good idea to buy now, and wait for the market to rise again. In this way, you'll surely gain profit more than you expect.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: People are not motivated by money. on: October 13, 2018, 12:17:06 AM
I agree that not all people can be motivated by money. Some are motivated by their wills and wants to make things they really wanted or in order to make change. Some are motivated by the attention and praises they get from other people.
There are different ways to motivate people, not just money.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your bounty tokens? on: October 11, 2018, 03:06:15 PM
I sold the first token I received after the first bounty campaign I joined. I wanted to hold it but it happened that I needed money that's why I sold it. I am waiting for the market to pump that's s why I am still not selling my other tokens from other bounty campaigns I joined.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Years From Now in Crypto? on: October 11, 2018, 02:55:33 PM
I think the future of Bitcoin five years from now, is that it is still the top and the king of all cryptos. It still lead the market, has higher value and is widely used worldwide. Banks are using and accepting Bitcoin, as well as big and small companies and stores. Well, it is just my prediction, I don't know if it will happen or not but I hope all this things happen in the future. I'm sure it will be very exciting if it happens.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: October 11, 2018, 02:47:13 PM
I have only gained good things from cryptocurrencies (they have changed my life for the better), however, I am frustrated at those who are in for money, and only money. They hurt themselves as well as cryptocurrencies future. I am sad that I still can't use bitcoin to purchase the things I want, as it isn't used as a payment currency/method. I am sad that there are big financial institutions that want (and do their best) to wipe the crypto world out, and instead of working together as a crypto-community to thrive, we are fighting, arguing, and scamming each other. Where I live, the government relentlessly tightens and destroys our financial lives—I was lucky to have found salvation in cryptocurrencies when others struggled.

We need to show the world that we are not just a bunch of wanna-be millionaires, that we actually care.

Yes, I agree. Most people in this cryptoworld are here just to make money and only money, and this is the reason why some people are scamming and deceiving others, just to earn money. We can see things like this in ICO projects. They'll make a project that seems to be interesting and offering things that can help cryptoworld at first, but at the end, will only run away with the money/coins they got from their investors. If people really care about cryptos, I'm sure they'll make projects that will really help us because they see the potential cryptos can bring us in the future.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: October 11, 2018, 02:17:45 PM
I don't blame other people if they are now crying because of the price decline happening in the market. Any people who'll experience lost may feel the same way. It is acceptable somehow, but we should all know that investing in Bitcoin is just like gambling. We can win or lose. That is why we should keep in mind that never invest money you can't afford to lose. That is one of the Golden rules in this field.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: False fear about BITCOIN. on: October 11, 2018, 02:01:39 PM
There is nothing to be afraid of even if we are experiencing dumps and downfall of Bitcoin. We all know that this is how the market goes and that we should get used to it. What's important is that the market is still alive and kicking. As long as there are still people using and investing in Bitcoin, there is nothing to worry about.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did we get what we asked for - less Bitcoin volatility? on: October 10, 2018, 09:08:59 AM
Volatility of bitcoin makes it more attractive and interesting for investors to invest in. People are making big amount of profit because of this volatility and this is the reason why people keep investing in bitcoin even though they experience losses, but now that Bitcoin is becoming stable and the price is not that volatile unlike before, I think some investors will start to feel bored and will lose their interest in Bitcoin. Some may also feel comfort that their assets doesn't have to go to roller coaster experience because of bitcoin's high volatility.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: What if there is a natural disaster, such as an earthquake? on: October 08, 2018, 12:07:21 AM
If an earthquake hits an area, and facilities used in accessing internet connection destroys, internet connection maybe paralized and it will be impossible to access the internet. We can't do anything about it but to wait until everything is fixed and normalized.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency courses, thoughts? on: October 07, 2018, 11:40:52 PM
I think we don't need to pay much in enrolling to online courses just to know things about cryptos. We can already learn by browsing the internet and searching about things we want to know about it. The result will have no difference I guess, it's just you'll pay for your learnings or you'll learn by yourself.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are proofs of the real existence of the team important for an ICO? on: October 07, 2018, 11:33:43 PM
Knowing the team behind an ICO or project is important. It shows who and what kind of people you are trusting your money into, you'll know who are this people you're giving permission to be responsible in your assets. With this, you'll feel comfortable and secured that your money is in the right people, and just in case that these people turned out to be scammers, you'll know who to blame if ever you lose your money.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: October 07, 2018, 11:20:18 PM
No one controls the market other than us, the users. We control the market. Our everyday transactions makes up the prices of every coins and tokens in the market. No other third party controls it, not even VIP investors or those who we call whales.
