321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: January 31, 2021, 03:54:28 PM
It's fitting additionally empowering to buy any merchandise with cryptocurrency both bitcoin and altcoins because bitcoin could be a cash and it can be utilize to buy and importation of diverse sorts of products in the event that the store or administration of a company acknowledges exchanges with cryptocurrency,The exchange should process without delay or dissatisfaction through exchanges, from my point of view the right reply to these address is accept it, since bitcoin has as a cash has overwhelms half of the nations so subsequently it's best as of now to acknowledge or esteem cryptocurrency more than fiat cash since of its values in cryptoworld.
I agree with you. Accepting and embracing the many benefits of cryptocurrency now, to be integrated into our daily lives, is actually the mere way for the public to also start acknowledging it. Especially now that the process of exchange, preferably electronically due to the desire to contactless interactions, would be very ideal and efficient amidst the current situation.
322  Economy / Gambling / Re: New online casino - GreenSpin.Bet! on: January 30, 2021, 02:34:25 PM
Hey, what is your experience playing in this casino? I'd like to try it too. I need some more information in order to be sure that I'll not lose my money. Of course that playing casino I always have the risk of losing money but at least I play and after that lose lol. You know one of my friends motivated me to start gambling games. He told me that I wouldn't lose anything. Somehow he was right, I earned more than I lost. Now he is paying here s188wins.com and told me that there are exclusive games and I need to join him. I'll do this but I'd like to show him what I've found too and I guess that this casino is the best option.
I have never played a casino and my advice to you is to do the same. My grandpa was playing and he destroyed his family because of that...
Well that would really depend upon the person, amigo. If a person gambles just for entertainment and without playing beyond his means, then I don’t think that there will a problem. But of course, addiction would be a different case. I just want you to know that there’s is no harm in trying, just be responsible and gamble with what you can afford. No pressure. As for me, I will try a casino as long as there are no disputes. But here, reading the comment above, I am having second thoughts and I shall do my research first.
323  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Almost lost all of my coins in an exchange last week on: January 30, 2021, 02:19:44 PM
The foreign exchange was the "B" exchange...

Just as I suspected. But lucky for you you've managed to take most of your assets out. And while you still can, take them all out and move them somewhere very safe. Since you mentioned that you intend to HODL your funds, then I suggest you don't keep them in an exchange wallet. A hardware wallet is much preferable.

I won't jump into accusing Binance of an inside job. But I've also read a situation somehow similar to yours a few months ago. I can't find the thread but it was also a case of breaking into the account surpassing both email verification and 2FA. I'm not sure if it was also Binance but I think it was.
You are right, if holding coins is the intention then a hardware wallet is the safest place I believe where these can be kept. Also, I think I came across that thread you are talking about, but yes we cannot really accused Binance of something at least its a hard case proof. Hacking is for certain though, so as much as we should earn not to leave our funds one exchange, we should also take note of the security level of our accounts and the sites we visit.
324  Economy / Speculation / Re: What you'll do when BTC price will go down heavily and fast? on: January 30, 2021, 01:24:18 PM
assuming the history of BTC from 2017 - 2018 will repeat this year, what you'll do with your BTC?
Personally, I would choose to convert the BTC I have to stable coins. Or maybe convert some to flat whenever I gain decent profit. While continuously buying until it indicates that it is on peak and will start to crash soon. Then I will do my ways to secure what I have generated.

Most people will do the same, that's why the snowball effect happens, hence the market crash continues to pull the price gradually decline over time. The only problem is we don't know whether the price will rebound or won't recover, for people who sell at the peak have earned the profit to buy back but for people who miss the opportunity to sell, the majority will wait for the price to rebound which doesn't happen then they sell at a lower price at loss.
You’re right. For long, I am one of those enthusiasts who always missed the opportunity to sell as I wasn’t used to the trend in the price movements. I know that it may not be that sustainable selling on its peak since it caused crashes, but I still do as I see that it is how the market works. And I had to go by.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs eth on: January 29, 2021, 04:49:26 PM
Wair little more almost 2 month you will be surprise bitcoin will raised to 50k and Eth price will raise to 1600.
You have choose good coins and you can make a good profit. You can sell now hald reward but i will recommend you tp hold for atleast two month more
I agree. Holding would be the best decision you could make for now. If you wait a little longer, you will reap much more with what you sow. Who knows, maybe the value of coins now would be greater after some time right. Just whether your decision would be to hold or sell, think it over many times before finally doing it.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WHAT happened to goosebet.io on: January 29, 2021, 04:18:38 PM
I agree to you that they're making it look like there's a maintenance but that's the escape goat that they did. It's so long until this thread has been made and there's no single reply from them.

As others stated here, when you just type goosebet.io it will just lead you into an error website. But when you include the https it will redirect you to the site.  It's alarming as they remain the site open luring new users that are not aware of the site's current situation.

Are the goosebet legitimate? Do they have ANN thread here? I think post something like this might cause panic to investors or probably possible investors if they have ANN thread or representative they should at least clear it in the forum so their reputation would not be affected.

They are running good until a delay or stuck withdrawal started a month ago.
I have tried playing with this site few times. Good thing that I happened to discover some new sites and decided to try them instead. If not, I would be probably one of those being caught up in this situation. Using “under maintenance” is a good alibi, but with their inactivity for over a month, that would be sounding absurd to me.

328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 28, 2021, 04:01:34 PM
It's really very hard to control emotions when it comes as a huge surprise with an amount you can't even comprehend! Human anatomy is indeed so complex, heart doesn't even know that it should stay happy, it just feels too excited and it gets stopped without thinking its consequences lmao. Even if we imagine gambling as an entertaining thing only, when we hit a jackpot, we forget that it's entertainment and we feel like we are the ruler of the universe! Tongue
I agree. We’ll never know what life will throw at us and what is ahead of us, just like in gambling. I think that this too is a proof that life is short, it is just a shame that emotions and happiness can even end a man’s life. And that health is something that we should really take seriously and be mindful of.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whcih countries will be forthcoming on adopting Bitcoin on a natioanl level? on: January 28, 2021, 03:22:05 PM
Just to start with, you can check the below link,

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory

It will give you a fair idea about the legal status if bitcoin worldwide. While few countries have come forward to create detailed regulatory framework for crypto usage, majority of them are still lacking a formal framework. So it is very difficult to say which country will join the bandwagon next!

I personally think a series of African countries will soon join the race of cryptocurrency by making it legal because it will benefit their economy directly and indirectly. Developed countries will take some time here!
I could see that there are many countries now that made the legality of cryptocurrency possible within their borders, compared before. Given the case, however, I still find it hard to even guess which country would be fully adopting cryptocurrency. Aside from it being legal to a country, there many things to consider such as tax, trade system, fees, transaction framework and most of all the willingness and interest of the people to embrace it.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 28, 2021, 02:32:10 PM
I think if I will be winning that huge amount I will be bringing some of the people I really trust like my mother or my father. I will not be taking that huge amount without anyone with me. I don't know if they will be giving that prize in cash but all I know is that it will be given in cheque and other processes would also occur which I think I needed a hand from my family.
If I will be putting myself in the winner’s shoes as well, I would not come forward just like that to claim the huge amount that I have won. I would also bring family members I trust, maybe a lawyer and any security personnel, preferably to disguise as civillian, who can provide me assistance and safety as well. The world is a scary place and desperate people can do anything to harm others just to get what they want or need.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We once had a barter system here, but the government smashed it on: January 27, 2021, 06:21:50 PM
-snip-
I wonder what this year will be like for BTC with so much bad media ( government )
publicity .
You have seen this "so much bad media" for the past few years, right? You see any difference in anything? Nope, you don't. But things have changed a lot. It is just that people aren't noticing. The government isn't pushing everything in one single day. They are imposing small rules and policies in such a way that people aren't even noticing the changes (all these small changes in a decade together has caused a huge change! People are just too distracted to notice!).
I would say this is one of the strategy the government is taking so that they can bring crypto currencies under their control through regulations without people making any noise.
Nothing we can do. It's inevitable.
You have a point. But I am also in doubt if they will be able to completely have the power to control and regulate cryptocurrency if they are not the ones who made it and who navigates the entire system. But of course, yes, they would have control over their people.
332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: January 27, 2021, 06:02:40 PM
Bitcoin is dumping!! Is this going to a repeat of 2017? Remember what happened in March when covid hit? The second wave is here and btc has been pumping despite that. What do you guys think? $100k still happening this year?
You said "remember what happened last March price crash hard" and look where we are now? from a big correction and skyrocketed surpassing the previous ATH in the last bull run and you are asking the $100k this year if possible? Im also did not expect that bitcoin will move really fast in just 2 months and Im really positive that we are just starting the bull market no one can answer your question correctly but trend shows its still possible.
During the period when Bitcoin was on its way to its ATH in 2017, the cryptocurrency market was also very unstable and the rapid growth over a certain period immediately changed to an equally rapid decline. But this is not a reason to panic, because the price has always returned to its previous path. The situation will be the same this year. At least $ 40,000, this is not the highest mark to be expected after the 2020 halving. I believe that one should still pay attention to the previous figures, which may be mirrored.
When it comes to history then it isnt really guaranteed for it to happen once again this is why people would really be still hesitant on doing or making decisions that it might really be
mirroring on what those things that happened in the past. Its easy to day on waiting for the dump but due to unpredictability of the market then its really hard to determine on which
price we should really be entering. Its up to someone who can took up risk will really be rewarded once the market had able to recover or able to reach new heights.
Profitability will vary on someones risk taking actions or decisions.
Exactly. Everything is uncertain. But those with courage and would take the risks, will also reap their profits in time. Although I am really hopeful given that the trend shows the probability of something positive will happen in the marker, I don’t want to get too confident. Let us just watch and wait for the right time to make a decision.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Joseph Stahura avoids jail for all the campaign funds he used for gambling. on: January 27, 2021, 05:31:20 PM
Quote
Former Whiting Mayor Joseph Stahura will not serve time in jail for wire fraud and filing a false income tax return. Judge James T. Moody sentenced Stahura to two years probation, one year home detention and a $7,500 fine at federal court in Hammond on Wednesday

Now was it fair ?!
What do you think ?

First, it is not fair, but I'm not surprise since the law is always bendable when we're talking about Political people or wealthy people, and the other way around when it comes to normal people. Second and last, I think he and his attorney are both crazy, because I don't see any reason to protect those people who clearly did something wrong but still there is a lot of lawyers who wants money than to prevail justice.

What I saw here is that before he runs for a Mayor candidacy, he first do stuff that will give fragrance to his name so that the people in their place will vote for him. Unfortunately, turns out he couldn't hide his true color anymore.
You’re right. Politicians and many individuals under the upper class of the society are given so much privilege that is really incomparable to a what an ordinary citizen would have. And to mention that they easily get out of their troubles through connections and money. But with this, being a public figure and with the people’s money getting involved with their dishonorable deeds, things should be taken this lightly. The only good thing is he didn’t win, at least he won’t be able to do more than what he did.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone bought or sold bitcoin directly from the Ledger Live app? on: January 26, 2021, 04:01:52 PM
I haven't tried it and that's because of the fees that they have. They have published that article about integration to Coinify before the bull run so looking and calculating it at this time makes it more expensive. Just use another exchange that's really for exchanging rather than use that feature. A ledger is as good as a hardware wallet and not an exchange.
Well, I could not agree more with you. Although I haven’t tried buying or selling Bitcoin directly from the Ledger live app, I do not also see myself from doing so. Especially that I have became aware of the fees, and I am just not confident about doing it, at least not yet. Nevertheless, I could attest that ledger live app is one of the good and secure hardware wallet I have used.
335  Economy / Speculation / Re: You saw the BTC price WOULD YOU BUY!?............ on: January 26, 2021, 03:53:23 PM
I think it not yet the right time to buy btc if you want if for short term, the price might be down for a little more before going up again. I suggest to wait a little longer before buying. If you want it for long term investment then anytime from now unless it high between $40k then you should probably buy more before it will rise again. Some people will immediately know if then know that cryptocurrency exists. Most of old users will wait a little longer and wait the right entry for buying btc.
In my personal view, I would really like to take your suggestion. This is what I also thought that we should maximize the opportunity in this correction period especially if we are buying for the purpose of investing for the long term. And as I see it, it would be more difficult for those with short term goals as they have to observe the movement of the BTC price from time to time to hit it when there is much profit.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: January 26, 2021, 03:46:08 PM
I've never been using this kind of broker my whole life in gambling few of them are on knowledge and skill, sometimes having mistakes due to unexpected things like the underdog winning the game. If you are using a broker and wage to those underdog teams there is a chance you will make it double not even but also triple the wage you have.

Sometimes I follow the prediction of other people most likely those sports I'm not good at it and doubting my research. Some of my friends there is a broker but not on the crypto gambling mostly in e-sports
I also do not have any experience in using or collaborating with a betting broker. And I feel like I would not choose to do so. Well, for one it is hard to find someone who’s trustworthy to collaborate with, after all it is money that is being involved. Second, is the doubt with regards to their techniques and decisions in betting. And personally, I don’t think that I would enjoy gambling if someone else has to do it for me.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if internet connectivity gets terminated on: January 25, 2021, 05:56:33 PM
It will surely affect the crypto if in case the internet connectivity will be terminated and if it will be fully terminated then crypto will surely to die as crypto is very dependent to internet connectivity unless the developer can find some solutions to counter this kind of problem if in case there are no internet already.

But if it will be terminated for few days only then it will not affect that much for sure as the payment can wait if in case they cannot do something to restore the internet connectivity. As a conclusion everything will depend on how the team behind the crypto will adapt if in case this kind of scenario will likely to happen where internet connectivity is their main problem.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Dying on: January 25, 2021, 04:17:47 PM
I cannot blame you if this is your conclusion even if you have seen already the capacity of bitcoin. Bitcoin has been declared dead for a couple of times already but what happened now? the bitcoin price is breaking it's ATH again and again.

Is this how the dead work? Dead means no value but bitcoin is steadily progressing. An increase and a decrease of bitcoin price is part on how the market works, if you are still new in crypto world then it will be better if you will do some research first before you will spread some fuds to bitcoin.
339  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ Bet online ᐉ BTC Betting ᐉ Online betting odds on: January 15, 2021, 02:11:37 PM
Brace yourself, my friend. You must have a tough heart if you are determined to push through this concern. I don’t know if the 1xbit management have enough conscience to resolve every complaint and criticism that has been thrown at them.

My ethereum deposit 0xcd64e677ec9c9e266800c6c780a3c3bb1c42644af680313a81d1d38a89371238 was credited while my account was closed.

Once again, that security department that you talk about dont answer any of my emails since June! So how can I contact them? aren't you a middleman?
My main account was closed by security department and not by my request.

Once again I'm posting here the message received:
We want to inform you, that our company decided to stop any collaboration with you (closing your account). The decision was made after a careful investigation of the situation by our security service. The decision is based on a violation of the Terms and Conditions.

Account: 195327265

You might be trolling me because all answers are no answers at all. I'm start thinking about the reality of your connection with 1xbit.
I highly believe that getting to be connected with 1xbit has been a major problem for so long now, as I have seen with the mounting complaints about them here. And I think they should have disclosed to you privately what is that specific violation that you did, if there is really a violation. But I doubt that they will tell you that because it is likely to be one of their tactics of scamming people, by closing their accounts and using the funds in it.
