321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Discussion on: March 27, 2021, 07:05:34 PM
Lots of people are still considering the risk investing in bitcoin. The fact that bitcoin price is increasing almost on a daily basis makes it more scary for them. A friend once asked me “What if the price falls ridiculously “? At that point I was almost dump folded and beginning to panic within myself. I was trying to convince him to see reasons with me on why he should invest in bitcoin and now I’m shivering with his questions. Is there any assurance to give  people especially in time of discussing bitcoin with a friend or family member as a bitcoin enthusiast?

If you buy any altcoin, you may worry if it price fall in future but with bitcoin that is not the case. If you holding bitcoin, you will never be in a loss in the long run so there is no need for panic. I can assure you that if you buy bitcoin today at 55K, you won't regret your decision when you see the price of bitcoin in 2024-25.  Smiley
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Coin On PANCAKESWAP on: March 27, 2021, 11:26:04 AM
Actually I'm not a fan of pancakeswap even though I earned a total of 30 bnb there by just participating in the hype of new listed coin. Usually the coin listed on pancakeswap have a good movement in its first few hours then suddenly the hype will die that will lead the coin to die where its developers and team behind will officially abandoned it. There is also a term which is the "rug pull".

This happens in every exchange and not just in pancakeswap. How many times we see a coin being listed in binance and it dumps right after the pump.

I do not consider the coin listed on pancakeswap as trading because it is a pure luck where there is a double edge sword. I'm a trader but I do not use any technical analysis whenever I trade coin listed on the pancakeswap because usually the coins are illiquid.

You cannot use technical analysis for the coins which are fresh and newly listed. They have no prior data which can be used for the technical analysis.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs on Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2021, 10:51:31 AM
Given the recent NFTs hype, was wondering if we should get NFTs onto Bitcoin. Given that Bitcoin is the KING in the industry and the most secure network, shouldn't we be able to secure NFTs using Bitcoin's security?

Since there are no smart contracts in bitcoin blockchain, does it mean that bitcoin needs to be forked in order to get the NFT on bitcoin blockchain ?
If that is the solution than i think we don't need NFT on bitcoin blockchain.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pay 2.000$ for helping with myetherwallet recovery on: March 27, 2021, 10:08:07 AM
Forgot seed phrase from myetherwallet. Need help of guy who can help to recover myetherwallet account. Thank you!

No one can recover your wallet if you have lost the seed phrase otherwise everyone would have hacked others accounts.  Wink
Also if there was any genius person in the world who could recover your wallet, would you think he will be taking only 2 dollars as a fee ?
325  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor One vs Ledger Nano S-which one is safer? on: March 27, 2021, 09:47:51 AM
Hello everybody,

I'm new to cryptocurrencies and I want to buy my first hardware wallet.

Let me just say that I didn't know where exactly should I put this thread,so I opened it in general section.I kindly ask mods to move it to right part of the forum if this one isn't appropriate.

I narrow down my choice to Trezor One and Ledger Nano S.

I would like to know few things that will help me choose between two.

Both of them are good ones and you can buy anyone without any concern. However, do you have enough bitcoins with you that you actually need a hardware wallet ?  You already told that you are new in cryptocurrencies so i assume you will not have much money in crypto. If this is the case, you can postponed the idea of buying hardware wallet until you are holding a bag of bitcoins and altcoins.
326  Other / Meta / Re: 10th anniversary art contest price now worth 57k (from 7.7k) on: March 27, 2021, 09:11:27 AM
I am still Hodling my reward! I buy and earn Bitcoin regularly, (earn weekly and buy the dips).
I spend maybe once per year but mostly HODL.

Everyone is free to do what they want with their Bitcoin.
If I die today my Bitcoin wont be frozen
My xxxxxxxxxxx has access to my wallet and I to theirs.

You must have realized the power of holding as your reward is now many xtimes.  Smiley
By the way, who has access to your wallet , your family, wife ? I always think of giving access of my keys to my family but i fear if they misuse them  Angry
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? on: March 27, 2021, 08:19:45 AM
For long term, invest on bitcoin, if you want to make profit for short term, invest on ETH.

Bitcoin can also be profitable for short-term investments. -10% today, +20% tomorrow Grin

Not too long ago, I managed to profit around $150 by hodling it for around 1 week.

Both of them are good for short term and long term investment and you can blindly invest in anyone of them or both depending upon your budget.
For mid term holding i will recommended ethereum as ethereum can 2x from here near the release of eth 2.0.
328  Other / Meta / Re: April Fool's is Coming... on: March 27, 2021, 06:01:56 AM
No matter what, theymos will definitely comes with up new tactic to impress forum members. To be honest I have been scared such April's Fool's message earlier but indeed it's part of fun. Anyway, we're experienced enough how to deal with it so let's wait how unique this April Fool could be..

It obvious now that whatever changes in the forum or rules theymos bring in the forum on April 1st will be part of the april fool joke. I wonder if he really implement some new changes in the forum rules / rank up requirements on 1st April but they are not a joke.  Cheesy
People wont take it seriously but after April 1st they will realize it was not April fool prank.
329  Other / Meta / Re: BITCOINTALK FORUM NEEDS A DEFI SUB-BOARD on: March 27, 2021, 05:35:22 AM
This thread was hot and heated back in DEC '20, I think t still deserve a look in.

There is no need to start this discussion again as majority of the people are not in favor of a separate defi board. If you get the defi board, then you will ask for the NFT board also and you will need boards for every development in the crypto space.

Just remember defi and NFT are all altcoins and already being covered in Altcoins section.  Smiley
330  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] WitLink - Fake Team on: March 27, 2021, 05:20:45 AM
Sorry to burst your bubble but the team members that you uploaded to your website are all computer-generated AI pictures.

That's interesting as i thought that scam projects steal people's pics from LinkedIn or social media and portrait them on their site as their team.

I never thought that these evil minded people are one step ahead in fooling people and making fake pics using AI which are difficult to identity.  Shocked
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How the staking providers earn money ? on: March 26, 2021, 10:14:57 AM
I always wonder that what's the benefit of staking to the staking providers platform ? For sure they must be earning something big that's why they give us attractive APY but i want to know how does it help them to earn money ?
Most of us know about staking but very few may know this secret.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 25, 2021, 05:09:00 PM
Yes, Group G is the most interesting and Norway, Turkey and Montenegro have 3 points each and the Netherlands are in 5th which I think the Dutch play is very complex and good against Turkey and but lost 4-2.
and statistically the Netherlands are also superior, especially in possession of the ball and I will see what changes in the next Dutch game and have to win it.

Statistically and as per the ranking from FIFA, Netherlands is far ahead of all the other teams in Group G. Their performance was pathetic yesterday, but that doesn't mean that they don't have any chance to top the group. 9 matches remain for Netherlands and they will face Turkey again on 7th September. It is too early to say that Netherlands is currently at the bottom of the points table. The situation is going to change.

Even is turkey is not able to win further matches, the current performance by them against Netherlands was superb. Also if they could not qualify in the end, they will take good memories with them as beating a team as good as Netherlands is big achievement for them.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PHR] PHORE BLOCKCHAIN - Private Decentralized Marketplace & Ecosystem. POS/MN. on: March 25, 2021, 04:51:46 PM
Missed out? Don't worry! Snapshot TWO is coming
1.Buy & Hold $PHR
2.Get $GFN... FREE! Money bag

Date = April 11thCalendar
The dip to below $0.4 is cool and who bought that dip now can smiling. 25% of rally in 24 hours is a dream in bear market. Now in bull market, it is good enough to smile.

If you takes 25% for multiple times, you can have x times and won't have to bet with DeFi tokens.

The first snapshot help PHORE rose impressively and I hope the second one can have same effects. Anyway, the final result will be combination of PHORE and Graphene.

The impressive price of Symbol and the airdrop for NEM holders are very good. You know many people called NEM is scam after price fell down and down before and in the snapshot day and did not rally before some exchanges began their Symbol distributions.

You should compare with NEM coin with PHR. NEM coin had only one airdrop and it was bound to drop once the snapshot is over. The good thing is that Phore has more snapshots so people will not sell once the snapshot is completed and keep holding for further airdrops.

335  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't buy this dip yet! on: March 25, 2021, 12:27:24 PM
Why not? Every dip is a buying opportunity. Those "triangles" and other chart readings might not be always the same or what you think. Hence, just buy when you see a dip. It is going to be okay even if its a bad "buy" - you know, since you are going to invest only what you can afford to lose. That's the golden rule right?
If the dip was the last buying opportunity, people would start regretting a lot. What if the "$25k" you are expecting never happens? You would keep on waiting an event that is never going to occur and miss all opportunities.
I would like add that anytime is a buying opportunity, its just that dips are a good one because they can help you buy at lower prices and get more out of your money, I mean you will wait for a dip and no one will know that it is the until it has happened so the only way is to get in instead of waiting because the dip that you might've been waiting for never arrived and the prices just goes up continuously.

For long term, yes you can buy at any time and at any price because once bitcoin will reach 100,000$ it will not matter if you bought at 55K or 50K.

However, if you are a trader then these are good opportunities to accumulate the bitcoin at the dips. Smiley

337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / bsctalkforum can be compared to this forum on: March 23, 2021, 12:34:56 PM
I recently came across a binance smart chain forum called bsctalkforum https://bsctalkforum.com/forum/. For sure, they took this idea of domain name from bitcointalk. I wonder if in future they make develop a forum which is of the same level and popularity as bitcointalk  Huh
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does BITCOIN make a person's life better !? on: March 20, 2021, 01:45:38 PM
If you look thoroughly, then BITCOIN is just money, but like money, can it improve the world around, and humanity as a whole !?
I don’t think “good” and “BITCOIN” are the same thing, most likely the opposite.
Because of money, a person becomes weaker, he does not need to do something, to develop, because money will do it for him.

Bitcoin is better than the paper money. If you are earning money and saving it in fiat money, then it value will decrease over the time. However if you are holding bitcoin, then it value will increase over time. This proof that saving bitcoin is much better and it can make you millionare in the coming 5-10 years.
339  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you miss Trump? on: March 19, 2021, 05:50:17 PM
I personally miss Donald Trump who to me is a fantastic president regardless of what the left and the mainstream media talk about him. Trump made the presidency entertaining. Do you miss him? Tell us what you like or hate about him.

340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: March 19, 2021, 05:25:35 PM
From all indications now, the sky is the limit of Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. Outside the financial aspect of it, there are other use cases that almost every sector of the economy of the world need. Many schools will soon follow the footstep of your school. Bravo to the management for being the pacesetter of the study of this great technology (Blockchain and cryptocurrency).

I do not understand how bitcoin can become a subject in school. Do you consider that school will taught US dollar also  Wink
However, blockchain is a technology and that can be taught in schools/colleges. Blockchain programing is vey much in demand these days.
