You probably take your name too seriously. No 1080ti should be doing $1 per day based on the current market rates. If this is not FUD spreading post, you probably should just look at whattomine.com. Even by using that ultra mainstream site you should be able to get at least $2-3 mining with your 1080ti.

My vote also goes to the 1050ti.

Some people in our local cryptomining scene have begun building huge farms with 1050tis only. Its really a good option right now considering that other GPU prices are bloated. My only worry is that new and upcoming GPUs may render this inefficient before they reach ROI.

If you are looking for a safe investment vehicle then i'd choose NEO. At least with NEO you have a legit team and project and are investing a platform for future use of many other cryptocurrencies. With TRX you are investing in a very targeted niche where you could loose big if they don't deliver. And so far, there are no indications that the TRX team is competent at all.

EOS is a pretty bad project in my opinion. They gathered so much ICO funds from investors but really have nothing up to this day.

They are a simple fork of Ethereum and can't even get to adding new features correctly. All the hype has died down and EOS will probably will never surpass what Ethereum has already done. Sell your EOS now while you can.

Hopefully this also translates into meaning that we are soon due for an upward spike in mining profitability. The problem is that so many people have gotten into mining tho that i'm pretty sure the spike won't last long once they start dumping the ethereum/coins they have mined.

There are new cards coming out soon but they are still producing and supporting 1080ti's and Pascal. Go out of the basement sometimes and maybe enjoy life, dont take yourself too seriously.

Is merit an altcoin?

Why is this topic being discussed here? This should be a post in the META section. I for one am pretty much against the merit system because it simply gives more power to existing members and makes it difficult for new members. The sad thing is the merit system is clearly being abused by some people (swapping merits, sending to alt accounts, etc).

I'd be careful with electroneum. They got $40 million worth during their ICO but they ended up launching a failed network where miners took advantage of early profits that were supposed to be for investors. Also take into consideration that there are now cryptonight ASICs but unlike Monero they have not announced any forks or updates to combat these. They probably don't have a good technical team and don't know how to do it.

Just noticed cloudfare now as well. Similar to nullius' first post i am asked to turn on javascript and then even see the "please wait.." message before getting redirected to the forums. Its just a few seconds of waiting but its quite annoying actually. Wouldn't it be possible to have cloudfare without the "please wait..?"
