I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

to find a fraud project is very difficult in my opinion because intelligent fraudsters will be able to fool smart people. thus making it difficult for us to distinguish between fraudulent projects and real projects. The way they usually work is they give you some string and you sign it to prove you own the address.
Could a malicious air drop make a transaction sending all your BTC to them, and then you sign it, and then they broadcast it to the network?
Or is signing a message different than signing a transaction?
be careful of frauds that often occur in crypto ... many ways they do to cheat crypto users ... don't let us give something that can be self-destructive just because of a big offer and in the end we don't get anything from it even we lose because it has become their victims ... and in my knowledge while participating in various airdrops, just asking for KYC and following their social media accounts ... that's all I do if I follow airdrop . |

New year is already few days away and I want to share one or two new year wishes about this forum on here, this is how I hope 🙏 this forum will be by next year, this is actually about BM and Moderators, I belief they can both help a lot.
1. Moderators, theymos and co should actually look into new way or strategy to help crypto investors, what I mean is getting rid of scam projects, I don't know how but I think it's time moderators start taking action, we need new investors in crypto space and scammers are everywhere taking advantage of them. Maybe there can be some kind of new screening for new projects on this forum? Or some kind of PASS?
2. Bounty managers have a big role to play in crypto world, i believe if every bounty managers can be more serious about the projects they introduce spammers will reduce, few bounty managers still don't know how important Proof of Authentication is, without it scammers can just use others btt accounts without them knowing, to claim tokens, we need more good bounty managers in this space and not keep relying on few promising BM's like bubbalex, Arteezy, ltcbtcledger etc

Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world
1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust
This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.
many people are victims of fraud because they do not have knowledge about a project that they are taking part in. so they are easily tricked by scammers. so much knowledge is needed to find out which projects have the potential to develop and grow well in the future.so that scammers are no longer able to cheat us and take our money for free. |

Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?
I also think about the same thing as you that bounty hunters are only used as a tool to promote their project, but do not pay what they said before. if on a spreadsheet we can get $ 100 then the reality is only $ 10. and this I really feel disadvantaged by the project team .. because they only use the bounty hunter community only for their needs to find investors. |

don't rely on gift tokens because that will only bore you and not to mention you have to wait for them to be listed on the exchange or at least until they have a sale price to make up for your hard work.
I suggest balancing your time with other things you can do in this market and I think there are many ways to make a profit besides a prize campaign. I say this because I also feel bored with them and what I produce from gift tokens does not produce sweet fruit.

I agree with what you have said. because the bounty campaign now is so boring that we need other work to be able to get better and satisfying results. if we continue to rely on bounty campaigns, we will lose out on other jobs. as we know now many ICO / IEO projects do not prioritize bounty hunters. so many projects don't pay. and many other incidents which have harmed bounty hunters. |

Of Buying a Masternode and run it on a Vps, but I have 0 experience with that and I was looking for one and joined a few discords, and it was kinda a shitshow.
So I dont know how to look for good ones yet and it's a bigger risk then Altcoins in my opinion from what I have seen.
Does anybody have any experience with running a Masternode and how did that go for you?

Why do you refuse to face the reality of the present state of the crypto market? I always laugh when I see people still talking about long term hodl when the reality is staring us in the face. Don't be a fool, only the smart are leading the race in the crypto sphere of today. Why do you decide to hodl when you know that the price may dump? Why not sell at the peak and then you can buy back at the bottom. The race is not to the fool but to the wise. Selling at the peak and buying back at bottom is wisdom but holding at the peak expecting a magic spike is foolishness. Bull run is not here yet, do not expect a magic spike. When the bull run is here, you don't need a prophet to tell you that. Be smart.
I strongly agree that now is not the time to hold the altcoin we have ... it's time we sell at the highest price today and buy it back at a lower price.. if we don't do this then we must prepare to get a big loss. Don't expect the bullrun to have happened in the past year. because bullrun is very difficult to occur in cryptocurency ... then it's time we think wisely so that we can still benefit from cryptocurency. |

Personally , I lost nearly 1500$ from day trading. I do buy back theory now to recover the loss and invest on potential ico's. now i am going on a slowly steady way , if we get greedy then we end up with nothing.

In my view, regulation will be good for Crypto industry. As we can now see that many Govt are looking for ways to regulate the industry.
Regulation will be a good thing in the long run. It will build trust for the industry among the masses thereby resulting in mass adoption. With regulation, people will feel more comfortable and have a sense of security to invest in crypto.
I don't believe that regulation means we have to declare our portfolio. Just as nobody cares to know exactly how much you own in the bank.
Regulation will also help in curbing the possibility of using crypto to launder money and place a check and balance in ICO which will make it very difficult for scam ICOs to operate.
I say regulation will in the end be a good thing for crypto..
