anyone knows European time? I am trying to find CDT, but google showed me few confusing information, so I am pretty unsure. Probably I am only EU holder? Cheesy
No you're not.

For all time conversions, I usually use wolframalpha. Try it : http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=1PM%20CDT

thanx a lot, 8PM of Eastern European time, I will try to get online tonight then

You're right, ASICMINER doesn't have a picture of a Chenbro 4U Open-bay Compact Rackmount Chassis on a website. Primarily because:

1. ASICMINER doesn't have a website
2. ASICMINER doesn't sell Chenbro 4U Open-bay Compact Rackmount Chassis

I mean, let's be honest here. ASICMINER doesn't have a 24.576 TH miner, and neither do you. ASICMINER does, however, have a lot of 10 GH miners, which you don't.

It's really interesting reading some of these comments. Right now, investing in ActiveMining would be seen as too high of a risk; which comments like the above reflect. Nevermind when AMC didn't even have an Avalon actually mining back in April/May.

As more of AM's promises come to fruition, AM's price will, again rise (or fall) to reflect the risk involved with investing. And that's OK.

What we have to look forward to in the near future (cross-post from the AMC thread):

AM is currently Hashing at 426.53 GH/s http://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=rankings&section=teams with a weekly dividend of .00000139 spread over 40 million shares. This translates to 55.6 BTC per week. Wording in the AM contract is left with the vague impression that only the shares sold so far will recieve dividends. And with only 6 million shares sold at the moment, dividends split 40 million ways, has been reduced to 6M or 6.6x the current dividend pay per share. So, .00000139/share becomes about .00000926/share

Soon(tm) - hopefully sometime this month (300GH of Klondikes will be arriving). At current difficulty, payout becomes .000016205/share

Other things to be looking forward to:
  • 20,000 Avalon chips -  (end of May and beginging of June orders), for a combined hashrate of 20,000*282 = 5,640 GH/s will be coming online late August.
  • Avalon prototype boards - The engineering firm that he employed for the boards has the 60 sample chips from the 2 avalon chip bulk orders, pictures will be coming for those when he gets his hands on them within 2 weeks. There are 20,000 of them incoming. Avalon will start shipping the chips at the beginning of July. AMC has pre-orders a for a few of these, the rest will be built and mined by AM
  • AM's proprietary chip - AM has a contract with eASIC to develop their own chip. If we raise money for the chip's NRE, we can start printing them out at cost
  • Storage - Springfield Underground is currently for sale. AM is looking into acquiring it to host all of AMC's mining needs when the need arises.
  • When do I get my money? - 100% of profit through sales and mining are given to the first 10 million shares sold until .0025BTC is payed per share. I suppose there is a duality here. The less shares sold, the greater the dividends. But on the other side of the coin, the more shares sold, the quicker AM can print their own money with their chip.
  • What happens after the .0025BTC/share is paid off? - After 100% of the promise is paid off in the form of dividends, AM will activate their shares and 25Million shares will then start recieving dividends. Up until this point AM will have not been recieving any money.
Would be nice to get those increased dividends

I'm a little confused about this tender process. What is the purpose behind this? In which way do I benefit from transfering my shares from AMC to ActiveMining? What happens to my AMC shares after the tender offer expires after July 31? What informations should go into the e-Mail I have to send?
And a more general question: Is there a difference in buying shares from BitFunder oder BTCT? Do those places have any real pros and cons regarding dividend payout or something like that?

Any answer is highly appreciated!

opps, I think it is easier to read few pages back plus check several pages at:

You will find all answers there and probably multiplied  Wink

Greedy and primitive :-) do you think you have any chance on the free market without ripping off other people?
You are still spreading FUD without caring about rebutting my obviously correct arguments.

Your only chance is the ignore list.

Sure, but explain me if there is a chance for you to scalp other abs or hft or you just scalp less experienced traders
329  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough! on: July 07, 2013, 11:24:39 AM
yeah, he has arguments like those bunch of greedy banksters runing lives of those lowborns just to get bonuses... if HFT would rule BTC, we are just in another corrupt system, where greed is the main principle. It is probably too early and it could destroy whole idea
"you are like a greedy banker" is not a rebuttal, it's trolling.

I've explained quite clearly, twice.

Voodah himself despite trolling in the first part of his post, with the last sentence admitted my solution could be good.
You, instead, are just trolling.
So shut the fuck up, asshole.

A bot simply allows a human to perform some action in his stead.

This here is your problem. It's a misconception and flat out wrong.

Bots do not simply allow humans to perform in their stead.

Bots do stuff that humans CAN'T do.
You can buy or sell.
Bots can buy or sell.
You provide the bots with the cash, and with configuration on how to behave.

Everything else is a myth.

Again, you are facing a x/y problem.

If you consider speed trading is a problem, then the solution is capping the speed, not nuking anything involved with high speed while it isn't capped.

Hhmm you must be one of the bankers right??

Anyway.. NO. All your arguments lie.

1. No myth here. You can not do what a bot does. Stop lying about it to defend HFT. You need to sleep, eat, take a shit, etc. You cannot punch buttons fast enough either. You are plain and simply wrong.
2. This is not an x/y problem. HFT and speed trading are one and the same problem to me, and if I were to go meta, i'd say the bottom line is it's all about out of control greed as always.

And who said anything about nuking everything? I happen to agree that speed capping is a good possibility for a solution.

yeah, he has arguments like those bunch of greedy banksters runing lives of those lowborns just to get bonuses... if HFT would rule BTC, we are just in another corrupt system, where greed is the main principle. It is probably too early and it could destroy whole idea
331  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough! on: July 06, 2013, 09:36:07 AM
Except bot market is not free market, it's whale market.

In case you didn't know, HFT comprises more than 70% of all daily trades in wall street.

The situation is so bad, you currently got whales buying whole buildings next to the exchanges so they can have <1ms lag to inject 10 orders before yours is even up, cutting off your profits on every single trade you make. Then you have your flash crashes...

We are heading exactly in that direction. But sure, don't worry bro.
X/Y problem.

I'm totally agains regulating such a thing.
A bot simply allows a human to perform some action in his stead.
You can't really ban bots even if you wanted to, unless you want to ban all the web access for everyone.

If the problem is that they are too fast, you can just, you know, solve the exact problem you are having, and slow everything down. Instead of, you know, shotgun blasting everything in a frenzy.

I am not against principles of free market, but hft is against nature, so would be then fine to have a markets for humans and then markets for hft, so they can try scalp each other

virtual identity. after all those offshore companies in Delaware, Belize, etc. we have the ned with virtual identity... no laws, no jurisdiction, only good word. But I am in from the beginning, so it is not time to run out  Wink

The "virtual identity" is just for having a name to call the shares that represent the profits of "Active Mining Corporation". Smiley
It could be better defined in a contract, to clarify it what it means exactly
333  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] btcQuick - Bitcoin Sales Service on: July 05, 2013, 03:27:51 PM
more shares /dilution/ and no dividends... it doesn´t look so good

We are not diluting the shares. 50 Million shares were issued. btcQuick holds all unsold shares and we are selling some of ours not increasing the number of shares available.

ok, sorry for lack of comprehension, good luck Wink

started to be too complicated, usually i prefer easy business, 1 company, 1 profit

Yes, it started to be too complicated but now it's much much simpler, as there's only one company (Active Mining Corporation that owns everything).

+1

Dividends are scheduled to fire at the top of the hour.

0.00021822 per share!

always nice to wake up on Thursday and see new coins for reinvestments, fortunately, crowd is behaving really like crowd in old time on real stock exchanges, so it is pretty predictable to react for dips and pullbacks  Grin

Before all the robots  Wink

I've seen plenty of robots already in btct.co.....

High frequency trading still needs more volume and liquidiyt

340  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: July 04, 2013, 04:32:33 PM
Yep, thanks for the explaination, this is most certainly the reason.

btct : 2013-07-04 00:47    ฿ 2.78000000    511867    0.00000543    COMPLETE

Only the 511867 sold shares got their divs.

Yep, he must have thought it would be ฿2.78/2,000,000 = 0.00000139, but it turned out to be ฿2.78/511,867 = 0.00000543. Maybe Ken can issue a special ฿0.00000404 dividend on BF to cover this? Thoughts?

Yes, Ken should definitely cover us for this. This was one of the issues that were addressed. So the past 5 dividend payouts from BitFunder has been wrong.

No, they were correct (the past 5 dividends on BF). Just this time, the dividend on btct.co is wrong.

The dividends on bitfunder was the correct one, next week we will issue the correct dividend on BTC-TC.

pity i have much  more shares on BF, but at lease few on btc.to as well  Wink
