Atalanta still continue to impress me a lot. Because they played one of their toughest matches vs Napoli away. And honestly, I was never expecting Atalanta to win this match. Even it was doubtful for me whether they would be able to draw with Napoli. Atalanta scored first but Napoli were able to turn the match around and make the score 2-1. After that, I thought like they would open the gap a little more and win. But Atalanta made a really huge comeback and won a very big 3-2 victory. The players must be really proud of themselves for winning maybe the toughest match of the league.

Everton really became victorious despite the interesting things happened. Although their two goals were cancelled, they still were very obstinate to score and even turn the match around. Because of their determined attitude, I think that they deserved this hard-fought victory. They should be very careful from now on. Because if they manage to benefit from this chance of starting to recover, this can be a turning point for them.

The most interesting draw seems to me like the Portugal - Turkey one. And the winner of this draw is going to have a match against the winner of the Italy - North Macedonia draw. Italy are highly favoured seemingly and they wouldn't have much difficulty in beating North Macedonia. But the Portugal - Turkey can be a close one although Portugal are one step ahead. I'm favouring them but the result would be by a close score difference.

I was just delighted with the huge Manchester United - Arsenal match last night.  To tell the truth, I didn't have any expectation like we would have seen this many goals. It is especially because Arsenal scored first. And it was a really weird goal because of Fred.  But Manchester United played just as I expected and they were really determined to take the win. They turned the game around by 2 nice goals. But Arsenal's answer wasn't late. Manchester United still had no intention to even draw with them and they got ahead again and won by 3-2. Ronaldo scored 2 goals and he is the only footballer who scored 800+ goals in official matches in history now. Arsenal had an absolute chance to get back into the game but Aubameyang blew it off with an uncoordinated touch again like he did last time against Newcastle United. This is the second successive open net miss again. That was scary because you can see the plan on how Arsenal tried to play. You couldn’t see united identity of how they wanted to play. Yet they scored 3 goals with out even really trying. They were clinical and it kind of feels like Arsenal gave it to them. Man united are poor right now and they did that. Just shows how the Arsenal team is lacking massive experience. They lack the ability to build on a lead. Arsenal really wasted a big chance as they couldn't keep the 1-0 lead. Manchester United started doing a high press over Arsenal players after conceding the goal. And Arsenal couldn't maintain their advantage for a too long time period. Arsenal need to work on this kind of situations more for not having the same thing happening to them too often. |

Chelsea and Juventus are still competing to capture the leadership by the last group match. Chelsea are ahead of Juventus despite having the equal points because they werre better in their head-to-head matches. And there is an obvious thing that Chelsea will keep their position as Zenit already qualified for the EL and have not any chance for the CL anymore. They would defeat Zenit with a nice score.

Another group that I have been curious about is the Group H. West Ham have already guaranteed their place by winning 4 times and getting a draw. But the remaining teams have still a chance to qualify for the next stage or the Uefa Conference League. If Rapid Vienna beat Genk, they are going to qualify for the UCL and Genk are going to lose their chance for any tournament. And Genk have to win to be able to qualify for the next stage on the condition that D. Zagreb lose to West Ham. I think D. Barcelona's rise in the La Liga continues. Xavi is the best thing happened to Barcelona for now. But I know that it is very early talk about it like this. It has been only two league matches. And they won both of them (vs Espanyol (H): 1-0, vs Villarreal (A): 3-1). And the next one is against Betis three days later. Betis are one of the strong teams so far. There is a 4-point difference between Betis and Barcelona and Betis are the team ahead. A tough game is waiting for Barcelona but I believe that they will still be winning.
Well i think Barcelona got lucky against Espanyol and lets now see what they can do against a big team such as Betis.Betis has really good quality players and i think they can even win this match.Should be also lots of goals between these two teams. You think so? To be honest, I don't think that Barcelona got lucky in the Espanyol match. Because they had the control of the match most of the times. A 1-0 score shouldn't be misleading for anyone. Real Madrid would be able to win today I think. Athletic Bilbao are not a weak team normally. But their recent form is quite awful. And in this situation, they have a very low chance to win or even to draw with Real Madrid surely. They will just try to defend Real Madrid will all they've got I think. Atalanta are drawing my attention lately by their high performance on the weeks we've left behind. They haven't lost any match for six weeks. Atalanta won against Juventus by 1-0 last and it must have been a really tough one. And they have an opponent today like they would continue winning. Because they are going to be playing home vs Venezia. Venezia were defeated by Inter last and they should be ready for another loss.

We are going to witness a match between the lowest-placed teams today. I mean that Newcastle are going to be playing home vs Norwich. Both of these teams have been having big problems in the PL. They both are trying a way out of this awful condition of them. And I started feeling like Newcastle will get their first ever win of the season finally in this match. They have a potential but can't show it in reality. But they will do this this time I think.
