I think it is okay that Exchanges collect KYC of IEO participants to be compliant with regulations. As far as I know, all of the top Exchanges requires IEO participants to pass KYC procedure.

Agreed, good projects should not promise huge profit to their investors as it might cause a huge damage to the proejct' reputation. I prefer invest in the projects which are likely to show a natural growth.

I think it is not very profitable to participate in IEOs today as you usually need to hold many Exchange tokens which price might decrease, so it is better to buy tokens after IEO in case you really like the project.

I do not think this occasion might happen with top cryptocurrency Exchange, it is only possible for small ones in case many people make withdrawal requests at the same time. If you afraid of such situation, you would better hold your funds on your own wallet.

If you want to earn on the cryptocurrency market, you need to have your own risk management strategy. For example - keeping 50% of your funds in Bitcoin, 40% in top altcoins and 10% in low-cap altcoins.
