321  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III on: August 17, 2014, 11:26:28 AM
If there is a world war 3 at least there will be no world war 4 because there will be nobody left to fight each other except a few cockroaches maybe.

What makes you think that? I don't understand the logic behind your post.
322  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Best EU country for a bitcoin startup? on: August 17, 2014, 11:25:48 AM
London has quite a good Bitcoin community which is a factor that hasn't been at all considered in this thread. I'm in Shanghai so can't comment on other European communities particularly well but spent a lot of time over last year in LDN with Bitcoin enthusiasts.

London has been recommended a few times but people call it england and not london or UK as london is not the country. UK is probably one of the better choices because of no taxes.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's a cool way to present .1btc to someone as a gift? on: August 17, 2014, 11:24:19 AM
Why not spend the .1 Btc on something? Get it converted then spend it?

His friend because he is tech savvy will probably appreciate the Bitcoin more than anything else its a lot of money to give to a friend.

325  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst Movies You Have Ever Watched on: August 17, 2014, 11:21:38 AM
worst for me  all with    Austin Powers

Are you kidding? That's a old time classic which was the best movie around at it's time.  Roll Eyes
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many backup copies have you for the wallet ? on: August 17, 2014, 11:20:10 AM
I have 4 copies in different locations but thats only for my cold storage wallet.

That is risky, because if one is in the wrong hand, others become useless. I'd prefer to have only one that is well secured.

They are all in secure places and I have got that many because of event of fires etc.
327  Other / Meta / Re: Should we report copy-paste ? on: August 17, 2014, 11:19:29 AM
Well what's the policy on duplicate topics? they are spam and this one that posted the source was a duplicate to a actual discussion is that not spam?

329  Other / Off-topic / How would I find out how many combinations/permutations there are from a list? on: August 17, 2014, 11:14:12 AM
I've got a list of words which I would like to calculate the combinations or the permutations of. It doesn't really matter whether it's in order or not so combinations or permutations are fine.
330  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Wallet Password Recovery Without Needing Your Wallet.dat on: August 17, 2014, 11:12:40 AM
Can you share with us what kind of software you use to do this
I have an old litecoin wallet with some funds in it, does your method work also on altcoin wallets?

cheers

All my scripts are developed by myself, nothing fancy all of them run in a python environment. I don't like the idea of publicly distributing the scripts that I've created because, of this service. If you would like to shoot me a message I can provide you with a few free alternatives if you would not like to use my service. I do offer support for litecoin and other alt coins by request.

I've been thinking recently of offering alt coin recovery free and turn it into a tip only business. I've been in contact with a few alt coin developers who would like to have a recovery service for it's users and have contacted me.

It would be great if you could do alt coin recovery too I think you would have a bigger market target and a lot more people coming to you.
331  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 17, 2014, 11:11:12 AM
Hello,
I am just wandering if posts made in 17th each month count for the last month or they are valid for the month which is comming?
(Just for myself I am on 180 posts for now-1689 posts at all)
Thanks!
BR
Gondel

Posts made before you claim payment = last month, no matter if they were made a 17th or before
Posts made after you claim payment = next month, no matter if they were made at 17th or after

Hope I helped you.

I normally refrain from posting just in case it confuses matters for me so only post a few posts until I get paid.
332  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLL: Would you be a Libertarian if it wasn't for the Internet? on: August 17, 2014, 02:08:33 AM
Poll results seem about even but there is no use in speculating about this because it can never be proven.
333  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Microwallet.org - API + free faucet script, start your own faucet! on: August 17, 2014, 02:07:23 AM
Microwallet is probably the best out there and should be the requirement for any faucet.
334  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you Use Your Laptop?? on: August 17, 2014, 02:06:05 AM
I can't game on my laptop as it is only a cheap little thing but it does everything else I need to do on the go.
335  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion - Poll Added on: August 17, 2014, 02:04:40 AM
Can't believe Man Utd lost against Swansea what a upset on the first game of the premier league I'm kind of glad a small team like swansea has had a good start.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How easy it is to KILL bitcoin. on: August 17, 2014, 01:57:47 AM
Not very easy otherwise it would of been done already by the government and banks Bitcoin is really solid and complies with the laws of the universe.

338  Economy / Lending / Re: [COMPLETE PUBLIC LOAN LEDGER] Lenders check... on: August 17, 2014, 01:51:06 AM

339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling cars for BTC? on: August 17, 2014, 01:49:48 AM
You can sell your car here very easily and securely just post pictures of this and your demand you can use escrow also many big deals already happen here without any problem

Threads can get spammy/hectic though. A site where you can list your car for bitcoins seems much easier.

Exactly!

You would probably get more interest on this forum than anywhere else honestly this probably has the most traffic looking to spend their Bitcoin than a external site.

I'll maybe try this forum out then sooner or later. Just wanted to see my options.

I would recommend it if it doesn't work out you can always try other options.
340  Economy / Services / Re: New Escrow services on: August 17, 2014, 01:48:54 AM
Strange, from time to time some newbie/junior appears from nothing offering escrow services, or asking how to start an escrow service.

For me it is likely they are the same people with different IDs. And I dunno if anyone is/was dumb enough to fall in this trap.

For people asking how escrow works I can understand. I asked a few questions about escrow before I dealt with a escrow on some of my deals I wanted to fully understand the process. As for this guy I haven't clicked on the link and unless he's using multisig automatic release I wouldn't use him.
