321  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .4 BTC loan on: August 13, 2013, 02:44:57 PM
I was on about tax evasion and having undeclared income from gambling / scamming  / perfoming shows on skype for money is it legal to pimp your self out were he is ?

I think the one I added was the road austin chose to go after him. Not sure if it's still in progress, though.
I reported him for prostitution a while ago and haven't yet gotten a response from Euclid Police. Perhaps they had better things to do, but I may try again.

Performing shows on skype isn't prostitution, is it? That seems more like pornography.

I missed these posts. Glad to see there's at least one reliable source of news out here.

If you start tripping then you were not smoking weed.

I TOTALLY disagree.  Cannabis is a narcotic that has hallucinogenic properties. (Kind of like Opium).

Well I TOTALLY x2 disagree. Marijuana is not hallucinogenic. If you've taken acid, salvia, any of the "c"'s, or even shrooms you would know this to be true.

And Opium is nothing like weed. You must get some very powerful stuff. Maybe OP should go to you?

Blue stands for the most dangerous ones.

Explain to me how Cuba (who supports FARC), Iran (who supports Hamas among others), and Syria (who murders its own people) are not sponsors of terrorism.

What terrorist group does the US sponsor?
325  Economy / Lending / Re: I need 0.50 btc for Marijuana on Silk Road on: August 13, 2013, 02:03:16 PM
Cannabis is not a hallucinogen... If you start tripping then you were not smoking weed.

But OP, why would anyone give you money for weed? .5 BTC will only get you like an 1/8th of good stuff anyways, so you'll get high for one day. It's not even worth the donation.
326  Other / Politics & Society / Re: #OpNSA: Regarding the Tor Exploit on: August 13, 2013, 01:55:43 PM
yeah, this is not NSA.

Not NSA?

Wut.... The FBI implemented the exploit to catch pedos.

Anonymous had NOTHING to do with the DDOS.
"Anonymous" claimed credit for taking down FH in late 2011 in an alleged anti-CP campaign.

2011, They had nothing to do with the latest FH - FBI just using it as a cover, do you think the FBI wipes all botnets they find? hah.

Yes, anonymous had nothing to do with the latest one. They did the first one, however. The FBI is just following in their footsteps.

People who can do CEO type work are very rare and highly sought after, while people who can do low-level jobs are everywhere, especially now that we can hire labor all over the world. It's just supply/demand. Blame low wages on people willing to work for cheaper than you.

Exactly. If a company/board of directors are willing to pay that much to a certain individual, then maybe he is worth it? Although a thing I don't understand is - how did it get that way?

Your average joe works for 10$/hour, then some poor chap comes along and is willing to work for 2$/hour. Joe is fired. I get that. But why on the other end of that spectrum, salaries are so big. Why doesn't some poor chap come along to work as CEO for less?

Also how much could you possibly want? If they offer you a job for 2 mil $ a year, could you keep a straight face and say: "my services require better than that, make it 3.5 mil" ? And if they disagree - screw them, and those 2 mil, right?

That's not how it works. Joe comes along and says he'll work for 10/hour. He's hired. Bob comes around and says he'll do it for 9. Bob replaces Joe. Someone comes along and says they'll do it for 8, replacing Bob It goes down until the wage is at the lowest anyone will pay. This is assuming everyone is equally qualified, which is pretty much true for low wage jobs.

The same happens with CEOs. Just add 6 zeros. Keep in mind however that most people are not hired immediately for a CEO position... They've worked their way up, so that's why their salary is so big. In addition, their workload is more specific and intense. People would like to paint CEOs as having an easy job- they don't. Anyone can work at McDonald's, so there's a low wage. Very few people can be a successful CEO. No one is going to be a CEO for $10 an hour, because it takes many years of working their way up to even be considered for the position. Working that cheap makes no sense. The kind of person who would take a million dollar job and get paid 10 an hour is not smart enough to be a successful business owner.

Also, keep in mind, a CEO might earn 2 million a year, but if he rakes in 50 million a year for the company it's a worthy investment.
328  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WTF is wrong with America? on: August 13, 2013, 01:40:55 PM
the only thing you hear about now in America is legalize weed, gay rights, and news about celebrities and how they got their new haircut today.

Sad

Yeah why would civil rights be in the news? Who cares about such an insignificant thing as equality?

It's like when MLK was in the news. Why's he so famous?

It seems as though 106 is the magic number. Perhaps bitcoin will stabilize? It's not a bad number to stay at.
330  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Count down to Iran invasion on: August 13, 2013, 01:13:41 PM

The US exported $8,760,000,000 worth of military equipment last year. This is compared to the $10+ billion worth of military-grade soybeans exported to China alone. The US truly is an exporter of death and destruction, but mostly soybeans.

Does that include military equipment that explodes on delivery?

No, it doesn't. Those soybeans however are deadly.

Yes that joke was especially funny the second time. World war is hilarious.

You seem unwilling to understand government is a host being hollowed out by private interests. The GOVERNMENT doesn't need to profit, the government needs to spend (on behalf of the taxpayers). A select few in the BANKING AND FINANCIAL systems are sitting back and watching everyone rip each other apart and profiting from every link in the chain. They are trying to put you in debt to build a global prison, both of which you can never escape. I am sure you think this is quite unreasonable and fantastical, but the noose is already being slipped around your neck. When the rest of the world has finally had enough, the US will end up like Germany after WW3 hollowed out and broken, shamed in front of the world, having our assets stripped and future earnings taken from our children for reparations to countries we harmed and debts these wars created.

Your conspiracy theories about how banks control the world and about how "the man" is going to get us is not evidence. You necroed this post just to bring up the same evidence you had years ago, which is nothing. I have not only proven that a war with Iran makes no sense, but I have also proven that the US is no more a warmonger than any other country.

Also, how do the banks profit from the US' demise? Did the Weimar Republic's banks benefit from WWI?
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people trust in fiat money? on: August 13, 2013, 01:05:32 PM
I can't buy food with bitcoins.
I can't pay rent with bitcoins.
I can't buy gas with bitcoins.

These are the big three reasons.

Currently bitcoins can only purchase luxuries, not necessities. And before someone brings up Bitmit, I am not waiting days for my food to be delivered.

So you think people trust fiat money because they can use it to buy food/rent/gas? How about Euro then, you can't use it to buy these things in US either

That's why I don't have Euros here in the US... However if I went to Europe I could pay for gas, rent, and food with Euros. I can't pay for those anywhere with bitcoin.

Also, I believe the topic says "Why do people trust in fiat money?" not "Why do people trust in Euros?" or "Why do people trust in USD?" It is implied that when someone says "fiat" they are talking about the government issued legal tender, ie; what people actually use. There is no country where fiat is not accepted because it is the official, legal tender of a country.
332  Other / Meta / Re: Trust System Idea on: August 09, 2013, 06:58:20 PM
That wouldn't make sense because whether or not someone is "red" is subjective based on who's in your trust list.

You should just delete the default trust list, and then start from scratch building up a list. That way you won't get all of the spam feedback, and you'll know if someone is truly trusted or not.

333  Other / Meta / Re: Contact theymos for refund. on: August 09, 2013, 06:52:51 PM

The logic behind OP's post is flawless.
334  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Socialism on: August 09, 2013, 06:47:45 PM

Tax evasion is a different crime.

There are three tax related crimes:

1. Tax Evasion. This is a felony and you can go to prison. 5 year maximum.
2. Filing a False return. This a felony and you can go to prison. Slightly less of a punishment than evasion (3 years max).
3. Failure to file a tax return. This is a misdimeanor, and it's unlikely that you will go to jail (even then the max sentence is 1 year so you won't go to prison). You will get a huge fine.

But #3 is assuming you have something to pay taxes for. Like I said, if you don't use any taxable services you can't be taxed.

I don't understand why he went to the hassle of giving collateral just to scam.
337  Economy / Lending / Re: What IS and ISN'T collateral. on: August 09, 2013, 06:32:40 PM

DRM.

I guess but there must be ways to circumvent that?
338  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.5 Loan on: August 09, 2013, 06:30:10 PM
ALARMOZ,

If this is really you can you prove it.  Get in touch with me.  If I don't post proof here he is scamming or the account has been purchased or hacked.

Even if it's still him, according to his trust feedback he apparently scammed the pope.

Scammed juggalodarklow in a BTC/Papal transaction.

Why do people use runescape accounts then? Couldn't you complain about being hacked there too?

And why not just download their steam library, and then delete it if they give you what you're owed?
