321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can anyone be a Bitcoin speculation expert? on: January 20, 2024, 03:53:51 PM
I strongly disagree with you. AI predictions on bitcoin cannot be rely on. Several time i have tried it has given predictions that were totally inaccurate. I think the best bitcoin speculations are gotten from traders and investors. This is because they are the ones who take time to analyze the market structure as long as they have good amount of money invested in it. Now AI can only give you predictions based on previous statistics or occurrence that are related from past years. Also, from speculations that was shared on the internet from other bitcoin speculators.
I am also not asking you to agree with my opinion or anyone else's opinion on this matter, because I only see what has happened based on existing facts. And this matter is actually quite simple to understand because I have known Bitcoin for the past six years and even more than that, I also really understand that it is only a previous analysis that is clearly stated on all sites so that the AI machine only draws conclusions. AI is a new machine created by humans to find out more things in a very easy way, but in terms of the price of Bitcoin, it will not be precise enough if someone relies on it because I have known Bitcoin since. The AI machine still doesn't exist and who knows where the machine will be at that time.

Quote
Don't forget any information AI gives to you is gotten from the internet. Which is still from humans as well. So, the speculations may or may not be accurate since its source is still coming from human perspective.
I haven't forgotten about that, mate, because my memory is still quite normal because the AI only makes conclusions based on what many people have said via the internet. I quite understand that because I know that AI is just a new search engine developed by humans nowadays so even if someone wants to trust that machine for price predictions, I don't think the difference is that big. Because what many people have said about the price of Bitcoin, AI can also detect it because AI also takes what other people have said.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin as digital currency on: January 19, 2024, 05:00:24 PM
Bitcoin is the biggest digital currency and sure if you have accumulate Bitcoin at good price you it can change your life style when it will reach it new all time high but the thing is that if you have accumulated good amount Of bitcoin at low prices then it will be more good for you.

i was reading a thread the with title bitcoin surpasses silver and i would say give it a fair time you will see it will gold market cap as well. i have seen it surpassing many big companies market cap which is big achievement of bitcoin.
Everyone who has bought Bitcoin at low prices and is still holding it today, of course that is very good and has also changed their lives financially. I consider this a victory for those who still faithfully hold Bitcoin that was purchased at a low price, because such people must really believe in Bitcoin and would feel it would be a shame to exchange it again at a price that is not high enough. And for other things, it is also possible that Bitcoin could surpass the market capitalization of precious metals such as gold because Bitcoin will continue to be better than any currency.
323  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't trust social media on: January 19, 2024, 04:51:30 PM
Fake news is more common on social media these days. Some people share all kinds of weird information about their channel to get more subscribes, followers or views which has no basis. The persons who have the minimum knowledge of this subject will not be eager to attractive advertising or financial transactions without being sure.
The point is that every news we see and read also needs evidence to be able to consider it true, because remember there are many people who make fake news just for certain purposes. I don't know of any particular reason why people would deliberately create fake news for the sake of it, because it could deceive more people if there is no special filter on what they read. So it is very important not to immediately believe every new news whose truth is still very doubtful.
324  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Bagaimana cara mengubah bitcoin menjadi cash tanpa lewat crypto exchange indones on: January 19, 2024, 04:42:58 PM
Kalo lewat crypto exchange indonesia mungkin suatu waktu diperiksa pajak.

325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can anyone be a Bitcoin speculation expert? on: January 18, 2024, 03:51:37 PM
Did you know that AI can predict prices more accurately than humans on bitcoin price predictions at the end of last year, I found a thread in the speculation board section that the AI review said the price of bitcoin would reach $45k by the end but humans said the $50k prediction was even the new ATH, so based on Your review is which prediction accuracy is right between AI and humans.
When talking about price predictions last year, of course AI predictions can be said to be more accurate, although there are also some people who say predictions like that for Bitcoin last year. But if we look at this at the beginning of this year, it is also almost accurate because Bitcoin also almost touched $50K in January even though the price has now returned to $42K. This means that the predictions between AI and humans are not much different if this is said for the end of last year and the beginning of this year.
326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your feelings if Bitcoin price takes your expectations unaware on: January 18, 2024, 03:44:11 PM
In as much as I understand what you are saying, everyone doesn’t think the same, so we have people doing different approaches. DCA is a good option but some people would rather just buy the quantity they want at once. I see it as that one should not place too much expectation on Bitcoin especially when it’s short term, doesn’t matter if you DCA or buy at once. If Bitcoin can hit $70k and drop, then it can do it again and even better. Of course you’ll be sad you watch the value drop but if you’re patient (long term), it’ll favour you again.
Because everyone has different thoughts and different ways of buying, of course their patience is also very different because there are also people who like short-term profits, although not that much. Likewise with people who like big profits in the long term after buying Bitcoin using any method, because the main goal is to make a profit. But apart from that, it is also done based on their own wishes before everyone gets a profit in a certain period through Bitcoin.
327  Economy / Economics / Re: How will the BRICS currency influence Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2024, 03:11:25 PM
how will the falling economy of big countries benefit small nations? I am not understanding what you are trying to say. I don't think falll of those countries would benefit small countries. there are a lot of countries who are dependent on the loans and financial help of these countries. if they fall then these countries will suffer too. and other countries will Indirectly be affected as well.
This suffering only occurs and applies to small countries which very often depend on large countries before any collapse occurs. Because there are also small countries that do not depend on big countries in any way, so the fall that befell big countries will not have an effect on small countries that do not have loans and financial assistance from these countries.

Certainly it will not. You also can see why most people voicing their believes are not leaders of any kind. They just voice their opinion.
As long as the opinion is reasonable and has actually happened, I don't think it's a problem to express it because in any discussion very different opinions can emerge. However, in economic terms, especially in BRICS, of course there will be an effect caused by the increasing number of countries wanting to join BRICS, because this will also give rise to currency competitiveness in a quite subtle, but very definite way. So many countries are now starting to explore this so that they don't always depend on the US dollar.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying house rent with bitcoin is it appropriate? on: January 18, 2024, 02:21:56 PM
Personally I won't pay rent using bitcoin, considering the fact that the price of BTC is not stable. I understand that they may be paying the rent using the current market price, but for me, I don't think it will be a good idea.
For some people, something like that might look good in their eyes, but it may not necessarily be so good in the eyes of others because maybe other people who see someone pay rent with Bitcoin based on the current market price. You would definitely think that someone is throwing away Bitcoin by sacrificing it through rent payments, so what you say is actually quite correct considering that rent payments can also be paid with fiat currency as usual without having to spend more Bitcoin just to pay the rent.
329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of excitement on: January 14, 2024, 01:59:29 PM
It's not yet OP and there's still a long way to go for a coin with this potential. They are just the beginning and I am very sure that soon BTC will get stronger. A few days ago, maybe it was just a moment of hype after the ETF was launched. What we need is to continue buying BTC if there is still excess funds because Bitcoin is heading to the moon and the SEC has officially approved all Spot ETFs and enjoy this journey.
The temporary effect that occurs on Bitcoin in the market of increasing prices for just a few days is clearly due to the ETF approval. However, currently Bitcoin has returned to normal at a price range of $42K to $43K, which has reopened the opportunity for traders and investors to buy Bitcoin in larger amounts. Because remembering that the price is no longer as high as when the increase occurred in the last few days and in the future the potential for an increase in Bitcoin prices is still very open and could happen again before entering next month.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: Useful side hustles to sponsor a BTC investment dream. on: January 14, 2024, 01:35:23 PM
And it takes a little luck for each application during registration to be accepted into a campaign, especially a potential one, and I think you know the direction of my conversation. It cannot be denied that this campaign provides something more and makes it easier for us in terms of adding additional income.
Following campaigns in this forum can indeed earn additional income and that will also be better for each campaign participant. Moreover, if the duration of the campaign itself can be very long so that the income can continue to be felt every week, but if the campaign is like a bounty, the income will really depend on the price of the token given by the bounty itself. So it is really difficult to predict and also uncertain because the token distribution schedule itself is also sometimes long and may not even be given at all if the project becomes a scam.

Quote
However, so far I personally am also trying to find additional side jobs of a technical nature (not the digital world as OP said) which in the end I will also invest in potential coins at this time, especially i look good utilities. I means, When the project has great utility, investors will believe in invest the money, so it's not a pump and dump project.
You are doing a pretty good option by continuing to look for side jobs of a technical nature because every job that can provide income is actually always more suitable to do. And when you are able to choose new projects to utilize investment space, this is also a plus for yourself because it can also provide more profits for yourself and you can also use it to support better side income.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: January 14, 2024, 11:41:41 AM
It is like declaring your asset which I believe should be only for public office holders, in this case it does not look as if its a public job so I frankly do not see the need for it.
I also think that this is not necessary because introducing Bitcoin to friends is telling about knowledge and how to get it, not showing the number of Bitcoin assets that we have obtained so far. Because it's true, as you said, that part is not the most important thing to say, but if it's just knowledge and how to use it, I think that's the most important part to say to everyone and not just to a friend.

Quote
If you want to let him in as a friend and confidant then its ok but to show him your holding is a bit risky from a security stand point.  It is also not necessary as you are not trying to prove any point.
I also think that showing the ownership we already have is not the most important thing in inviting friends to know about Bitcoin, because what a friend needs is how to understand Bitcoin and how to use it when the friend already has Bitcoin. So it really has to be sorted out so that we don't make mistakes in teaching other people about what is important to tell and what is not important to tell.

333  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: January 13, 2024, 05:44:30 PM
Indeed, there is no harm in selling at any price and the most important thing is that we have made a profit when selling it, but if we are able to hold out until the halving occurs then we will get a bigger profit. Of course, those who sell it now will regret it when they see the highest price that will occur in the near future.
Everyone will not immediately know how high the price will be when it is approaching the halving or after the halving, because we cannot guess how much profit we can get by remaining without selling when we see an increase in prices as seen in the past few days before the correction occurred. However, considering the current conditions, it is indeed a good idea to hold on to Bitcoin because the halving is not a bad moment for Bitcoin and its holders at this time.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: How to survive hyperinflation? on: January 13, 2024, 05:28:37 PM
Bitcoin is more profitable if one holds it longtime  and should be first Crypto to think of to invest, bitcoin is more reliable and the risk in it can't be compared to that of altcoins.  Inflation in this recent time is really affecting the value of fiat and because of this instead of saving money in fiat it will be better to use bitcoin as a store of value.
In facing inflationary conditions like today, I am still happy to use Bitcoin as an investment and also consider it an excellent store of value in conditions like today. But on the one hand, I also haven't forgotten about gold as a store of value that I have long relied on besides Bitcoin, so at the moment I am still quite happy to use both for the purpose of storing the value of the assets I already own. Because both are still good enough for me and also for everyone, especially when it comes to investing and storing its value.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment is kind on: January 13, 2024, 05:15:42 PM
It is great news that you are opening an auto parts store. But you would definitely be wrong if you want to buy and sell only with Bitcoin without any other fiat money system. Because small merchants will often charge you a fee when paying with Bitcoin. Bitcoin fees are highly volatile. Sometimes the fee level is so high that it is not possible to make small payments with the fee.
Business owners need to think more broadly about things like this because the purpose of opening an auto parts store is to make a profit which will generally be better if they provide more payment options to the customers who come there. This means that the shop owner does not limit payments to just one of them, making it difficult for people who don't have Bitcoin to pay using the existing payment system. So of course this will not be limited by the shop because the aim is also very clear, namely to seek profits from various directions openly.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina has officially approved the agreement to legalize the use of Bitcoin on: January 13, 2024, 05:09:03 PM
That's a big step for the country and hopefully it's going to affect bitcoin a bit more significant than El Salvador, they've got more people to cater to and it's unlikely that they're won't mind not trying out bitcoin instead of Argentinian peso which is just going down in value everyday. Congratulations to the crypto community of Argentina, you're going to be the ones that's happy about this announcement of legalization.
If the Argentine government can get all its people to accept Bitcoin and use it like the people of El Salvador do, of course Argentine citizens will immediately create a large crypto community and go viral in the world even though Argentina is not the first country to make Bitcoin legal. However, I think this will not be easy enough for the Argentine government because the population in Argentina is much larger than the population in El Salvador. So it certainly takes time for the government to prepare everything.
337  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Platform Exchanges Di Indonesia on: January 12, 2024, 02:03:39 PM

338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of excitement on: January 12, 2024, 01:47:23 PM
I have been buying small amounts of bitcoin for over 10 years. While I was always knew bitcoin would grow I did hope that some events might make it jump up in price say 3 to 5 times. Events like etf approval, a harvening etc. I still remember those charts that had predicted supersonic prices by now. But now read that both the etf and harvening aew now priced in and yet the price is not even an earlier all time high.

Does that mean the excitement days are over. Has bitcoin become boring in terms of big price fluctuations☹️

If you bought any amount of Bitcoin ten years ago, you should be happy now if you still hold onto it better. Because you can directly compare the price of Bitcoin ten years ago with the price of Bitcoin today and usually people who have known Bitcoin for more than ten years are people who are very mature in their belief in Bitcoin so they won't be in a rush to ask or ask questions. thought about "the days of excitement are over" just because there was a slight price correction after yesterday's increase due to the impact of the ETF approval.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: How is it possible to say there is no money in the bank on: January 12, 2024, 01:33:30 PM
Lack of trust is the main reason why people reduce their deposit in banks. There are many reasons for this distrust. Every bank has some rules. Depositors keep their money in a fixed amount for the future. The bank uses that money for various loans so it takes some time to withdraw the money from the bank. The business of a bank is to accept deposits and give loans stagnation here indicates a crisis.

I also felt surprised by the rules made by the bank, so that's when I started to have less trust in the bank system, even though I also use the bank when I want to take my money to other places. Because sometimes we are hindered by business people who still rely heavily on banks, which makes me have to follow them even though I actually don't like keeping more money in the bank for a long time. And for now I only keep as much money as I need in the bank to manage my business, because I think that if our money stays with the bank for too long, it will definitely make the bank too happy because they can reap profits from it in the long term.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Debate: Should Your Business Accept Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2024, 01:21:30 PM
Hey Crypto Crew,

So, I've been pondering the whole "Should Your Business Accept Bitcoin?" conundrum. 🤔 Some say it's the future, while others think it's just a fad. What's your take on this crypto rollercoaster? Share your thoughts on whether diving into the Bitcoin sea is a savvy move or a shipwreck waiting to happen. Personally, I'm torn between embracing the digital gold rush and sticking to the good ol' cash. Let's chat about the pros, cons, and the downright unpredictable nature of this crypto beast. Are you ready to sail the Bitcoin waves or prefer to anchor in traditional waters? Drop your two satoshis below and let's hash it out! ⚓🚀

In general, Bitcoin is quite well known and is also liked by many groups nowadays, where these groups also often use cash in their respective lives. So what makes some people feel confused about accepting Bitcoin in their own lives or in their own business is because they are afraid of losses, even though that is only when they sell at low prices.

Meanwhile, for those who are sure to save it well enough, they will never experience losses or sink like you said, because everyone can see the reality that exists through Bitcoin itself from the first ATH to the next ATH within a period of once every four years. And for the puzzle that is in your head, I don't think there is any need to debate the pros and cons as long as you can still use cash while holding Bitcoin indefinitely and being distracted by the presence of Bitcoin into your own life.
