Establish a budget and see on which items you can save.
Buy second hand clothes, furniture...
Stop throwing away things that can be repaired or upcycled.
Cook your own food and prepare a weekly menu so that you can make a shopping list and buy only what you need.
If possible, prefer good quality and lasting items instead of cheap things that you will have to change often, consider this as an investment.
Etc...

I go for ETH too, I think its growth potential is now better than the one of BTC. But I'm rather new to all this so maybe wrong.

There will always be people who will be influenced by that kind of marketing trick. Usually the same who love watching "real life" tv shows and read people "news" and tabloids. Good for them...

It mostly depends on the project associated to the token, if it is something serious and holding promises, just hold on to them, if not, sell them asap.

What did you expect? Of course ,price is dropping ,it was at 2 cents a month ,it's now at 10.
Why are people so pessimistic when it comes to altcoins? Almost every coin goes up in the long term. Here you have a project ,a good team behind it and some great communication. Why on earth would you sell when the price is still low?
