321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: November 07, 2019, 11:58:58 PM
Not bad at all. While other boxing analyst are predicting a possible knockout victory by Inoue, Nonito Donaire was able to withstand all the blows coming from "the monster "Inoue. Nonito has proven to the world that he can still go toe to toe with younger boxers. Nonito still has a lot of fights left in him even at his age of 36 (turning 37 in November 16). Here is the score 116-111, 117-109, and 114-113.

Yeah, not bad at all. All odds were against Donaire but he showed last fight night the heart of a champion. Kudos to Inoue to withstand that left hook and right straight from Donaire in the tenth round.

That fight is an acid test for the young career of the Monster Inoue and he passed it with flying colors and looking forward for his future fights.

Inoue did not look tired, this guy is well conditioned going to this fight and they didn't really underestimate Donaire that's why he got a very convincing win. Donaire just got tired in the later rounds because he can't knock down Inoue, he had some solid punch thrown to inoue but the endurance of Inoue is showed in this fight, hopefully he can start fighting in the US so we will see an Asian who will dominate.
Take note that Inoue is going home with a cut on his right eye brow and Donaire was able to bloodied his nose considering that Inoue is 11 years younger than Donaire. I agree with the post earlier that the score could have been very close like 114-113, still in favor of Inoue but if its 116-111 and 117-109, I see a lot of rounds that Donaire landed solid blows to Inoue and that 11th round knockdown may have given the reason for the judges to give the fight to Inoue.
322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks with using trading Signals on: November 07, 2019, 11:53:23 PM
I do not recommend following a trading signal. Maybe some will earn from it specially those who bought right away after the signal was announced but what about those who will buy 10 minutes later or 10 minutes after the announcement. If the coin is worth 0.0001 BTC when it was announced, after 10 minutes, that coin maybe worth 0.00015 BTC or even higher. Those who bought at 0.0001 BTC can sell it at that price already gaining 50% profits and what will happen to those who bought at 0.00016 BTC? They are going to be stuck holding that coin because they come in very late.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 07, 2019, 11:42:28 PM
I created a thread about giving out cards with QR codes with it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5196750.msg52910844#msg52910844, that project is still a long way to materialize but its my way of letting people know about Bitcoin and how easy it is to transact using Bitcoin. I am also planning to set up a car wash business early next year and one mode of payment is Bitcoin, at least by the time the vehicle is completely cleaned the payment should have at least 1 transaction already.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holiday Season Card with QR code on: November 07, 2019, 11:22:04 PM
That's a unique idea but what bothers me is that, are you just going to give it to someone with an account and keys already? Or even with people who doesn't have idea with bitcoin. If yes, it means they still have to create a wallet? But what if since they lack knowledge, they might get scammed by others or what if when you gave it to them, they might lose the greeting cards?
Yes I've thought of that too, not everyone can and will be able to understand how to create a wallet and how to sweep the coins in an existing Bitcoin wallet. The term "private keys" sounds like an alien word to those with zero knowledge. I am still working on this idea since I still have more than a month to work on it before the holiday season.
325  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advice on online shop selling goods in crypto: real or scam? on: November 07, 2019, 11:14:13 PM
There are other popular sites out there that sells the same item and accepts Bitcoin. If I we're you I will look for a site that is operating within your country. The site located in Italy, they published their address and gave a phone number where to reach them. If you are not from Italy, you will have a hard time reaching out to them for any complaints or in case you want to return an item. What bothers me is that they sell cars and motor bikes and they claim they can ship in 30 days world wide. We all know that we need to pay custom taxes, tariffs and duties for items like that or else it will be confiscated by the customs.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: November 07, 2019, 10:54:37 PM
With or without Bitcoin, scammers will find a way to scam people and let us not blame Bitcoin for that. As long as there are gullible people around who believes in easy money and get rich quick schemes this scammers will continue to multiply. To stop this kind of schemes what we need is to educate people on how to handle their money properly and how to make it grow legally.
327  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: November 07, 2019, 10:43:59 PM
I think Binance is mostly fine, at least for now (as long as you're not connecting from one of the restricted countries). Bisq isn't bad either but it's a different thing so it's very limited when it comes to volume and available trading pairs.

Thank you for the tips. I guess it has to remain Binance for non-fiat trading.

The reputation of Bittrex has been battered by several users posting here because of some past irregularities it had including accusation of selective scamming and inflating data and sending to CMC.

Which would you recommend for fiat trading?
[/quote]
Ever since Bittrex has started locking accounts without notifying their users (including me), that's the start of their business to collapse. Users started to switch to another exchange and we cant blame them. The least thing that they (Bittrex) can do when they make changes is notify its users and they failed to do that. Maybe they notified some or those with higher funds in their account but still its not an excuse.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes every crypto trader should avoid on: November 07, 2019, 10:23:58 PM
Of all the 5 things you mentioned, FOMO is the mistake that even seasoned trader cant avoid. Our worst enemy in trading is emotion. That is why there are those who just use bots to trade so that no matter what news come out the press even if it is negative or positive, the bot will not react and just follow the settings.

330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do long term holding profitable in all cases? on: November 07, 2019, 09:54:41 PM
Should I continue holding my ethereum? Am a believer of long time holding but am currently beginning to lose faith due to fact that I have been experiencing constant decline in my major coins that I have been holding since late 2017. The coin in question is ethereum which I have been holding since when its value was around $1,300 and now its value is now less than $200 per one.
Should I continue holding my ethereum?
Long term holding is a good strategy, but doesn't work to all kind of investment and it doesn't work all the time. What happened to you is the same thing that happened to those who bought Bitcoin when it was still at $19,500, they hold on to it thinking that it will go back to $19,500 or even higher. There are those who sold BTC at lower price and Buy other coins for profits. The price of BTC has changed a lot of times already with a difference of more than 12% in just a matter of days. If you take advantage of that, you should have recovered you loses in ETH already by now.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: November 07, 2019, 05:15:20 AM
After watching a video presentation of Motevidia in Facebook about the fight between Inoue and Donaire, it somehow convinced me that Donaire have a chance to beat Inoue. I am not using the term upset because using that word for Donaire is disrespectful. Donaire is one tough fighter, he may be old enough for Inoue but his (Donaire) punching power is one of the feared in his weight class. Just look at how Donaire was able to stop Stephon Young in their last fight.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: November 06, 2019, 11:59:10 PM
Bitcoin only since that's what I have in my Bitsler account. There are time I use BCH if I receive or rewarded with BCH when I join contests or there's a promotion but I don't transfer my coins or tokens from the exchange site that I am using just to gamble. Transfer fees if added all together when you transfer from wallet to your favorite online gambling site is expensive.
333  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $20,000 Wagering contest + $5,000 Free challenges + Cashback/Chests on: November 06, 2019, 11:55:13 PM
Well, there is no problem if we log in using VPN and use the same PC/Browser, because the server certainly keeps a log of activities such as cookies and sessions so the server will recognize our activities even though using a different IP. Usually the account will be locked if we log in using a different IP and PC/Browser, but I don't know whether Bitsler implements security like this.
I've been using Bitsler for quite sometime now and I never encounter such problem like my account was locked for using a different IP, PC/Browser. When I visited my friend in Singapore, I logged in Bitsler and I never have such problem, same when I was sent to Thailand for a training no problem whatsoever. You will be asked to verify if its you through an email, but locking the account, no.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 06, 2019, 11:46:04 PM
After winning against an inactive Ben Askren and a journeyman but popular Nate Diaz, Jorge Mashvidal feels like he needs to join the big money leagues. Mashvidal intends to fight Connor McGregor or Saul Alvarez in a boxing match. He can easily beat Connor and the guy is now inactive. Everybody in MMA wants Connor now because the guy is the cash cow in MMA. In a boxing match, superstar Saul Alvarez kills him, but maybe worth the risk as he can earn a $5 million payday.

I think UFC fighters are underpaid. Or is it boxing superstars overpaid?
I don't think UFC fighters are underpaid, its just that boxing has been around for a long time and they have more fans and generates more pay per views subscriptions. If the number of PPV subscribers and fans can equal the fan base of boxing and PPV subscribers then maybe their (MMA fighters) pay will be higher.
335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING TOOLS? useful/useless on: November 06, 2019, 11:25:18 PM
They are useful and they can guide you in helping you decide if you are going to sell, buy or hold. Even those pump and dump groups are useful in helping you know which coin will pump in the next few hours but, it doesn't mean you will buy or sell whatever coin they tell you to buy or sell. Still its just a tool to help you decide, its still you who will decide and press the buy or sell button. Much better if you use 2 or 3 tools so you can if if all have the same suggestions on what action needs to be taken.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: November 06, 2019, 02:17:11 AM
A lot of us here love sports and we are betting at the same time.
I am not successful in this kind of venture but I would love to know from people here on what they do in order to win.
They say that sports betting has no house edge, but why is it it's still hard to win here?
If you want to bet on sports, do your research first before selecting a team or a player. Lets say you want to place a bet on MMA, the fight between Jose Aldo (+155) and Marlon Moraes (-182). Based on the odds, Marlon Moraes has a bigger chance to win the fight, but, your worst enemy here is the lucky punch, no matter how good a fighter is, if he got caught with a lucky punch, he will go down for the count. There are also times, odds changes and tables are turned like the Pacquiao and Thurman fight, initially, Thurman is the favorite to win, but as fight draws near, Pacquiao became the heavy favorite.
337  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: November 05, 2019, 11:59:25 PM
To those who are included in the 31 countries, is it an option for them to use a VPN when they log-in so that when they are online, they will show up as example in Singapore and avoid the ban? Is that possible or they are violating the terms and condition. However the problem that I see is logging in using a VPN slows down your pc or laptop and you might lose an opportunity to buy or sell quickly.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 4 on: November 05, 2019, 11:51:05 PM
I always thought or dream of buying $100 worth of scratch cards. Scratch cards are those with pictures and you need to have a least 3 or more pictures that are matched with each other to win a prize. I thought that for every roll of those cards, 1 card have a big prize. I am not aiming for the jackpot, just a small profit will do.
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: November 05, 2019, 11:39:04 PM
I think most of the new traders are just attracted because of the possible profits and not with the passion on trading. They think its a good vehicle to get rich quick even with when they have zero knowledge about basic trading. Some think its easy because of the “buy low, sell high” sounds easy but its not, theres more than that phrase.

There are articles our there that says 96% of traders lose their money due to bad trade. That means out of 10, theres only 1 who are successful. I wonder how the study are made since not everyone are open to discuss their trade, most will just keep it by them selves.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: November 01, 2019, 12:40:23 PM
Discipline, if you know this, have this and you can apply this then you will have a bigger chance in earning more in gambling. Those who lost a lot in gambling are the once without discipline, they don't know when to stop, they are the one who lost a lot already but still they will keep playing even if they need to sell any of their belongings. They are the one who already won a lot already but still want some more and they end up going home empty handed or worse, they are in a huge dept.
