FOR THOSE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH NODES TRY THE FOLLOWING:

addnode=212.83.162.214

Is my node the only one posted here so far? Smiley  I'll keep it up, currently neither mining nor gaming in order to have it as stable as possible.  Note, though, that it also didn't sync well the last time.  But I hope it does fine now!  Use at your own risk, though. Wink

Are you 100% sure you are on the correct chain? what block do you  have now?  mine is reading 2501

Serious? 2500? I used the nodes the Dev posted in the launch thread and it's around 1600.

I am now at 2073 and there are many players on this chain also Cheesy

326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - RELEASE DATE 1st FEB 2014 7pm GMT on: February 01, 2014, 08:55:00 PM
- If you get the emssage : WARNING : Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.

- if you are stuck synching

- if you suddenly min all blocks

- if the game does not evolve anymore

== > You are on a forked chain, you need to delete all but your wallet and sync again.

Also, I had to move my wallet recreate a new one and overwrite it (dunno why seems taht the wallet data makes the sync to keep going on the wrong blockchain)

If you are getting suddenly a lot of blocks, you probably forked from the main chain. It keeps doing that if you mine/play at the same time.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - RELEASE DATE 1st FEB 2014 7pm GMT on: February 01, 2014, 08:23:33 PM
mine says... Warning Display: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or others in your nodes may need to update.

It shows this msg just under the overview/sendcoins tabs, syncing stuck at block 1135 out of 1183... anyone know what this msg means? Does anyone have any nodes they can post

like me you ar eprobaly on the wron chain , you need to delete your database and sync again
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - RELEASE DATE 1st FEB 2014 7pm GMT on: February 01, 2014, 08:17:56 PM
my client keeps forking from the main blockchain by time to time (and then I start go get blocks) , and I have to delete my database to join again.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] The REAL Altcoin on: February 01, 2014, 01:43:24 PM

Are you retard or don't you get that the interest from that search is going into alt in general rather than into this shit and unsupported clone ?
I just hope you aren't and that you just are only trying  pumping and dumpîng this shit.

nobodyis mining or searching for this , you know ?

Sigh... Sometimes even obvious irony is not obvious...
And somebody (that means more than zero people) is mining this. Otherwise there would not be increase in difficulty, you know.

Irony has already been visited and revisited here . So, if that is the purpose , this coin is definitely performing very bad once again.
But yes, try again, please ><

332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 01, 2014, 10:32:25 AM
Welcome to the New Beginning

When the grand experiment that is bitcoin began, the anonymous wizard desired to test two parameters- a trustless, decentralized database enjoying security enforced by the austere relentlessness of cryptography and a robust transaction system capable of sending value across the world without intermediaries. Yet the past five years years have painfully demonstrated a third missing feature: a sufficiently powerful Turing-complete scripting language. Up until this point, most innovation in advanced applications such as domain and identity registration, user-issued currencies, smart property, smart contracts, and decentralized exchange has been highly fragmented, and implementing any of these technologies has required creating an entire meta-protocol layer or even a specialized blockchain. Theoretically, however, each and every one of these innovations and more can potentially be made hundreds of times easier to implement, and easier to scale, if only there was a stronger foundational layer with a powerful scripting language for all of these protocols to build upon. And this need is what we seek to satisfy.

Ethereum is a modular, Turing-complete contract scripting system married to a blockchain and developed with a philosophy of simplicity, universality and non-discrimination. Our goal is to provide a platform for decentralized applications - an android of the cryptocurrency world, where all efforts can share a common set of APIs, trustless interactions and no compromises. We ask for the community to join us as volunteers, developers, investors and evangelists seeking to enable a fundamentally different paradigm for the internet and the relationships it provides.

Who is Behind Ethereum?

Our fiduciary team contains 4 members:

  • Vitalik Buterin → Inventor of Ethereum, Partner at KryptoKit and Cofounder of Bitcoin Magazine
  • Anthony Di Iorio → Founder and Executive Director of the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada, Bitcoin Decentral, KryptoKit

  • Mihai Alisie → Founder of Bitcoin Magazine and Egora

We also enjoy a deep bench of developers, marketers, entrepreneurs, evangelists and partners including:

  • Dr. Gavin Wood: Core C++ Developer
  • Geff Obscura: Core Go Developer
  • Dr. Emanuele Costa: Quantitative Analyst; SCRUM Master
  • Joseph Lubin: Software Engineering, Quantitative Analyst

  • Kyle Kurbegovich: Media (Cointalk)

We will switch our PoW from Dagger to a hybrid PoW/PoS system to be developed via a bountied competition conducted by our university partners and open to the general community for participation. The terms will be announced in late february including judges, specifications and the university partners.

We have partnered with Hive and Kryptokit to assist us in conducting the fundraiser and at time of launch there will be four options to participate in the exodus swap: Kryptokit, Hive, a dedicated python client and directly through the fundraiser website. We will have the testnet operational on Februrary 1st, 2014 at http://fund.ethereum.org. We will also post videos on our official youtube channel explaining how one can use each of the methods.

We recommend all those who participate in the fundraiser provide an active email address to receive a cryptographically signed receipt from the exodus address of their swap as a secondary proof of stake in Ethereum’s blockchain. The primary proof of stake will be transactions stored by the bitcoin blockchain.  You will also be enrolled in our monthly newsletter to help you stay informed about the project and major events.

blabla...
2. Higher Security - Have YOU ever validated the code of your altcoin wallets. Who knows what kind of backdoors and viruses they install!?
blabla...

Come on, get a brain, find some real differentiator ... your coin is just yet another crap showing your lack of innovation ...

great work creditcoin_CRD, Nullu !

It is so difficult now to find the real coins with real dev, community and further support in all that mess. Keep doing this excellent job, don't rush, things takes time.
Spread wealth, spread good spirit and spread your time

(...)

You are rather trying to legitimate and protect your recent mining while it has been made clear from the beginning we wer not supporting that blockchain...
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PMC] Premine! - 100% Premine / 100% Distribution - Mining TX fees only on: January 30, 2014, 06:25:48 PM
the second blockchain would have 1M coins. If not fixed after 16000 blocks it would generate other 500000 coins, and again after other 16000 and again, again and again.

I personally vote for the first blockchain, but if fixed also the second is usable

+1 Initial block chain of course, the second chain is just yet another crap and which is probably hoarded by too few people

That was a bad timing for that, the only exchange had an almost empty orderbook, the one won't have the possibility to sell them while a new wallet is out.

An advise do not trade now anything even out of the exchange, you could be seriously scammed.

Arf, that was something we should have expected with the low reward, the network could be misleaded easikly with some sha rig.
What was the network hash at the time of the fork appr. ?
