How can I cancel a send from book of orbs?  I have bcy stuck in transfer for the 4th day because I tried to use the lower btc sending fee.

You have to wait until it gets canceled because it doesn't confirm or it goes through. May take quite a few days.

When was the announcement of the Ico distributions?

It should happen within a week or so. That was the last they said on Rocket Chat announcements.

You can earn a lot more on new projects, do not so believe in project that it has not worked in a few years.

For your information Storj is one of the few projects that has a production ready product, customers and partnerships.
Yes some new projects may be successful but they got nothing to show for themselves until their products are ready.

Do you have a picture to remind myself what it looks like? I know you are waiting for yours to arrive...

MJ has a picture of one posted here I believe - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1154481.0

Thanks I see, this is one of the FD coins.
327  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Interest in physical coins is increasing with BTC price on: May 26, 2017, 02:05:20 PM
It feels like that's the way the market moves for sure. Back when BTC sat at $600 this section of the forum was more or less dead. Same old faces dealing with each other.

As for the encyclopedia, I'd like to see it in a pocket format if that would be possible? I know I'd like to have it on the road and show people what it's all about. Rather than dragging around a book (have not seen it in person so not sure of the size, might be making a fool of myself here).

Other than that, I'm happy we are seeing this increase in interest and the influx of both new and old members striking deals and creating collections.

The hardcover version is huge and heavy as it is supposed to be, for your coffee table.
The paperback version is smaller but still may require you to carry it in a backpack.
328  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Interest Check] Casascius VOID coin on: May 26, 2017, 01:58:24 PM
That's a nice piece, should sell for a good price. I guess it's unfunded so it's mainly the rarity of the coin that will gather interest.

What to do with the swap, it's already possible, i have it at counterparty.

Not yet, stay tuned for announcements and instructions, it should happen no later than July 19th but I heard it could happen as soon as mid June or earlier.

Best regards,

Hey every1!

Renting out 3TB of my harddrive, running it 24/7 on win10 for about 2 weeks now.
Made the portforwarding and increased networkspeed and cpu in config file...still only 60 GB is used.

My question is, is there anything else I can do to improve that my rental is chosen ?
Feel't like the first 10 GB went up fast then it got slower and slower...

Running it on my miningrig, but only mining on GPU's so a 2 Core AMD 3.9 Ghz should be enough?

Any advice is welcome!

Thanks

It does take a while to get some data, it's the same for everyone. When storage demand grows we will all get more data.
Also if some nodes go down their data will be re-distributed to nodes across the network.

With the latest version you can run 1 node per CPU core so if you have 2 cores mind how many nodes you run.
You can gather more info and speak to other farmers and Storj support reps on Rocket Chat at https://community.storj.io.

Just started this game!
From what I read so far, if I don't use book of orb and BCY, I will not have any SOG "blockchain asset".
Just simply playing the game won't get me any card that can be collected on book of orbs
Am I right?

Not right now, but eventually there will be a blockchainization function in the game that will allow you to turn some of the in-game cards to blockchain cards.
Not sure when that will come out but it's in the roadmap.

Check out this discussion on the SIA forum

Moving along, slowly but surely!  Smiley
334  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 5x Denarium 1 BTC Gold Parity Coin on: May 25, 2017, 09:27:31 PM
What are the coins in this batch serial numbers going to be? L or E 001 to 005 or some other numbers?

Somewhere in the thousands. Probably the first available ones. L and E serials have been used in succession for the most part, continuing with this gold series.

Thanks for clarifying.
335  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] Peeled Casascius 25 BTC coin on: May 25, 2017, 06:58:46 PM
I paid 0.9 BTC for mine a few months back and it doesn't even have the private key or holo, immaculate though.

This is a steal!
336  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Interest Check] Titan Coins on: May 25, 2017, 06:57:09 PM
Are they all Private Key versions or 2FA?

Private keys only...

Nice one, you can't go wrong with Blazed!  Smiley

338  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SPECIAL AUCTION] 3x Denarium 1 BTC Gold Parity Coin on: May 25, 2017, 06:37:29 PM
Okay, so we had a change of plan. The initial price levels and interest for our new gold parity coin has surprised our whole team and we are not able to price the coins with sufficient confidence that the pricing is right. That is why we are auctioning more coins from the first batch until we have sufficient price discovery. These coins will of course not have the special A serials but rather normal L/E serials assigned by us.

We may potentially auction all of the coins from the first batch, but at least the 5 for now.

The auction is LIVE: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1933218.0

That should be another fun auction. Smiley

We may need a cheaper paperback version of your book soon so that more people can get info on what's out there.

I'm also looking forward to see what people will value the Kialara Moons, especially the low minted ones.
