OK can anyone tell what it is and how to apply to my wallet? It is stuck on some 200,000 block. Wallet version 10.2.1. It's just too hard, I'm not a programmer!

You could put that in your config file, and your client should try to connect to the above nodes when it starts.

http://www.everydice.com no longer redirects to http://hamster-334.getforge.io/ and the 1Dice1's bet history is accessible once again on http://everydice.getforge.io/log_1dice1.html.

OP hasn't logged in his account since May 25, 2014, 02:23:36 PM.
At this stage, I can only hope he is really busy doing the internal investigation, and hope 1Dice1 can get his bitcoin.
Good luck to all having balances on the site. Smiley
325  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: May 27, 2014, 09:11:48 PM
Alright, thank you again.
But I stand by my initial opinion, this doesn't seem to make sense, because someone that deposited bitcoin, exchanged for fiat, then back to bitcoin and withdrew bitcoin, is in an identical position of anyone that only deposited and traded alt coins: both can not launder money. the fiat they traded is in your hands and will never leave the exchange by their withdraws.
You will lose many traders that do trade daily, but that don't want to withdraw fiat and do like privacy.
But it's your decision, it seems you are doing ok, good luck.

I agree with you, but I'm just an employee. I have suggested this to my superiors.

Sorry, but now I ended confused: "depositing and withdrawing alt coins does not require verification", but if I deposited bitcoin, traded it to fiat, then traded fiat back to bitcoin and want to withdraw my bitcoins again: do I have to verify?

what exchange are we talking about? in my experience, on bitstamp, btc-e and bitfinex, and cryptsy as well, as long as you are not depositing/withdrawing fiat, there are no KYC limitations. you can deposit coins, trade in and out of fiat, and then withdraw coins. never had a problem.

We are talking about ANXPRO, a 0% Fee bitcoin exchange based in Hong Kong, which supports SEPA deposits and withdrawals.

I can see you got a "ANXBTC Trusted Forum Manager" in your signature, so are you the owner (co-owner) or a staff of the site?

So does bitcointa.lk offer a way to create tables? Am I missing something obvious?

Guess you should post in their official thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=515932.0, or send a PM to cedivad https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=63794.
327  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 1000 Gh/s - Is it worth it? on: May 27, 2014, 09:02:34 PM
Seems like p2pool is better for bitcoin for it decentralized nature

Definitely.

but having only 1% of the bitcoin hashrate doesn't mean the chance to find a block (and share it among it miners) is very low?

With 1% network hashrate, the pool is expected to find 1% of the coming blocks (which is about 1.5 blocks a day on average).
328  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 1000 Gh/s - Is it worth it? on: May 27, 2014, 08:38:12 PM
-What should I consider when joining a pool?

Is it paying? Good support? Prompt reaction to DDoS? Merge mining? Low fee? etc.

-When I join a pool, the more I contribute (in hash power), the more my payout is?

Yes, but there are several different payment schemes like PPS, PPLNS, DGM, etc.

-It's more profitable to join Ghash.io or p2pool?

P2pool gives you a higher expected profit (tx fee to be distributed among miners).
Ghash gives you a lower variance on your profit (higher pool hashrate, lower share difficulty).
329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for Signature program for Jr Member. on: May 27, 2014, 08:31:09 PM
Can anyone suggest a good, paying signature program for a Jr member like me?

Is Scratchticket the only one?

AFAIK, scratchticket is the only one accepting jr members and newbies.
You could find more choices and have much higher pay when you reach member status.

i would say only to have fun, not for profit

I dont see any fun on burning down  your laptop triying to mine 0.0001 litecoin per hour..

It is hard to say.

Of course I'm massively biased here, but it seems if there was a glitch, and there is no way of knowing if 1DiCe exploited it or not, with such huge winnings and somewhat unusual variance (see: almost impossible winnings) then refunding the investors does seem to be the only fair option - as long as 1DiCe gets all of the money he invested into the site too, assuming there is no real way of proving what happened.

The variance is unusual but not really that statistically improbable. I can't see why refunding the investors and reversing 1Dice1's winnings is fair.
334  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: May 26, 2014, 01:56:43 AM
Here's whats gonna happen. 1.) ED will refund investors, 2.) Reduce max bet into 0.5%, 3.) Rework commission structure.

Then we wont have shit like this again.

ed, how is the progress, can i get my coins soon?
I offer to buy your account for 4 BTC if you're interested.

And reduce a massive payout to a sum that is, relatively speaking, peanuts? Seems a bit suspicious to me.

1Dice has 90-150BTC stuck, and I'd doubt he would accept your offer. It's less than what he put into ed.

Precisely. The offer would have to be significantly better for it to become a serious one that would require consideration.

Is ruru a stakeholder in EveryDice? Perhaps an associate?

We would all like to wipe out a debt for a tiny fraction of the amount owed...

Cryptopher, I guess you are right. ruru is either a big investor or a staff of ED...

You forgot me ruru, what about me? i made my coins legit, isnt this a theft?

Here's what gonna happen. 1.) ED ruins its own reputation 2.) Existing and potential gamblers will switch to other places.  Grin

WOW, this is ridiculous. so everytime someone win big on your site, you might just find another "bug" and refuse the payment.

That is such an "easy" way of running a dice site  Grin

Pretty much so.

To everyone playing or planning to play on ED: Your winnings MAY BE reversed at any time but not your losses.

337  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: May 26, 2014, 01:27:02 AM
As expected, seems that i wont get my coins:

Quote
P-4718
I understand but please see due to coding error we will be forced to refund to all investors possible.

1DiCe1
how you know i used that error

P-4718
We are not 100% if you did 1dice
but its unfair to the investors and by law we have to Sorry.

1DiCe1
i think so i used game rules and i did all fairly

P-4718
Due to a problem within the code some people were able to see the seed.
We can not confirm if 1dice did no
but due to the problem found we will reset the website back.

Admin, you made errors and have no idea whether someone has used it at all, and now you simply use it as an excuse to deny payment.
Wow, it is just ridiculous...

EDIT: fixed the quotes
338  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: May 25, 2014, 07:20:39 PM
Checking that provably fair system is works might not take a long time, but other than that we did many things. One of the example is the leak of site seed, this not only involve technical checking and ensure our server has not been compromised, but also questioning all team member involved in the project. We cannot assume this is the case (and lets not), but it is better to be safe than sorry.

As you might noticed, few hours ago the site profit goes down ~50 BTC again, this happened after some manual withdrawal. We know that the previous bet event is mathematically unrelated to the future event, so thinking that site will win after losing is fallacy, however, this is quite much for a coincidence. We are really sorry for the inconvenience, but for a moment we will have to ensure everything is legit. The roll function of P-4747 and 1DiCe1 also has been disabled.

First, as doog suggested, you should limit the number of people having access to the seeds, rather than sharing the seeds with your whole team.
Second, even if you seed is leaked, I don't think it is right to assume 1Dice1's win must be related to it.
Third, if you suspect the seeds have been leaked, you should change them now, rather than just disabling roll function of two big players.

339  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: May 25, 2014, 07:15:25 PM
It is not about the amount wins, but about the percentage of such case happening. Which in this case is even higher than Nakowa's JD.

I agree that you should check the bets are processed correctly, but the "percentage of the wins" is not really relevant IMO.
If I make a 0.01% bet and win, you can't say "it is too rare to happen" and stop paying me.
Similarly, if I make a 98% bet and lose, or if I lose 20 times consecutively in martingale , I can't say "you should refund me as it is too rare to lose".
340  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: May 24, 2014, 11:17:28 PM
Im not using proxy nor vpn. i dont want to play anymore i just want to withdraw my money but admin dont let me do it.
please Ed let me withdraw my money.. i think this is unfair
EVERYDICE ADMIN IS A SCAMMER! 1Dice has been trying to withdraw his balance for OVER 24 HOURS and NO RESPONSE FROM ADMIN.

It is reasonable to have manual check on huge withdrawals and we shouldn't expect admin to be there 24/7.
But IMHO 24 hours is a little bit too long...

I personally wouldn't call it scam yet at this moment, but if admin is still holding his withdrawal for another day or so, I guess we have to...
